The company called my cell phone to inform me that I have been selected and won a vacation.

I was transferred to Fernando to review the details of the "special offer" and basically you are offering a pre-paid vacation.

I had to confirm that I was over the age of 18 and had a credit card to check in to a resort.

In the end there was no free vacation or winning, they wanted me to pre-pay for a vacation $500 US per person that I could use at anytime.
In addition to that they wanted me to tour the resorts and there was a timeshare plug as well.

This was a huge waste of my time (on the phone for 30 mins). The best part is you cannot email them any questions or complaint they have that part of their website disabled, so you are stuck. Even thought it states in their Privacy policy that you can put your questions and concerns in writing and email them on the website.

What a poor way to run a business.

This is a legal way to fraudulently obtaining money from unsuspecting families who are looking for a vacation, i was made to pay for a Dolphin Experience which never happened, i was given refund forms to complete to reimburse to my credit card, nothing, nada, zilch. After calling me religiously each day they stopped calling, stopped taking my phone calls, stop replying to emails, its like they never existed. I will not stop this campaign i will ensure whatever medium is available to get the message out with your help. SCAMMERS.

This is just a hustle, a rip-off. First they contacted me and offered me two vacations for $900. They always ask for the money up front. After I take the first vacation (which they screwed up the reservation), they tell me that I’m not eligible for the seconds vacation. They in turn offer me an alternate vacation package. This additional package costs extra. By now I have paid $900 for 4 nights at a Cancun 2 star resort with crappy service. I go ahead and pay the additional $650 for a 7 night vacation in the Dominican Republic. They then call me back telling me bad things about the Dominican resort. They tell me that there’s a rat infestation and that to cancel it in order to book something else. Turns out once I cancelled there’s no refund. (Which was never stated previously) and the only thing they have available is in Mexico.
They just stole from me and there’s nothing that can be done about that. Its businesses like these that do badly for Mexico. I then go to booking.com and find that there’s nothing wrong with the resort and they had it available for $380 without having to give the money up front and can cancel for free up to 2 days before. I learned my lesson. Do not accept anything from anyone saying “you won a vacation”. I believe that I was not eligible for the second vacation because I didn’t purchase any timeshare in the first vacation and they stole my $650 because either they didn’t have any business with the Dominican resort or they lost whatever business they had with them for having a bad reputation. I hope that it’s the latter.

SCAM SCAM SCAM! PLEASE DO NOT BUY INTO THIS SCAM. We fell for the scam and purchased 2 packages June 2014. Every time we would book a date they would tell us it is full. Fast forward 2 years later still no booking and they charged 280$ Cad to our credit cards to extend the booking! Save your time and money and book somewhere else. George is a scammer!

Premier Cancun Vacations is a high pressure telemarketing rip off.

The telephone operator makes all kinds of promises that they later don't follow through with.

The promise lots of availability but the dates are never available. Then they sell you an upgrade with more promises that they don't keep

My wife and I were scammed by these people for over $1, 400. Shame on us. Don't let the same thing happen to you

I know how you feel, and it seems like this is a common problen in Mexico. I purchased a travel program through Sandos Playacar at Royal Elite Timeshare Resort in Playa del Carmen last March and I requested to cancel within the 5 day grace period but they still have not refunded my down payment of over $9000 US dollars. I have been in touch with people there and they say they are working the process but it takes time. It has now been almost 5 months and I am losing faith they will ever pay me back. This is another forum with more complaints about this company:

http://www.timesharescam.com/timeshare-complaints-resorts-black-list/6-royal-elite-sandos-timeshare-complaints/

I believe we should do something about it, as I understand Mexican regulations forbid the offering of gifts, free vacation certificates or any other promotion strategies without informing the consumer the specific purpose of the offer. I want to complaint with PROFECO about this, and get my money back

Have you accomplished to get your deposit back? I purchased a Royal Elite timeshare last year and I'm having exactly the same problem, I was trying to get a final resolution working on my own, but I think it's time to file a complaint with PROFECO (The Mexico's Consumer Protection Agency) maybe you should do the same thing. This is a forum with more complaints made on these companies:

I got a call from these people a few days ago, asking if I was at least 28 and had a credit card. I told them no I was 26 but my husband was 28, they hung up when I told the guy he was at work. They had someone else call me back today, asked the same stuff. Then they directed me to a vacation planning agent. I have dealt with people like this before cuz I went on a vacation last year that was supposed to be "free" and it really cost over $200...it was legit but a crappy trip (they had a cruise boat called the Bahamas Celebration). But anyway back to this place, the Cancun Caribbean Vacations, they offered me a trip for $698 to Cancun, Mexico for 6 days 5 nights. Now first off...I am greatly annoyed by these type of scamming lying people so I LOVE to mess with them. So I tell they guy that calls that I'm not interested in that price if he had a trip that was cheaper maybe I would be interested. He transfered me to some chick that suppossivly could offer me a deal to my liking. So this chick she's all like well I could offer you this trip for $399...I was all like welllll I'm not really interested in going to mexico cuz I would have to buy plane tickets to get there, offer me something closer I could drive to. So she then offers me a 45% discount on plane tickets to go to Cancun. I'm all like nope still not interested in going to Mexico, don't like planes. She offeres me another trip in addition to Cancun, she says I can also go to Orlando for 6 days 5 nights all for $399. I tell her I'm still not wanting to go to Mexico so she has to offer something better. So she then offers to add a cruise to either the Bahamas or Mexico on a Royal Carribean Cruise boat. I tell her I still ain't interested cuz I went to the Bahamas before and wasn't very impressed and still I didn't wanna go to Mexico. So then she ads a fourth trip of my choosing to one of like 2 dozen places all over the U.S. or Canada, Mexico or Thailand. I tell her I would only be interested in that trip of my choosing but not the others. So she says I could call some number and they would sell the other 3 trips for whatever price I wanted them to sell them for and they would give me that money back. I tell her I didn't wanna have to be bothered with that hassle and I didn't like the price yet. She offered to have me pay $200 today and the rest in 30 days. I then ask what the company is called cuz I wanna look up reviews online...she gives me the name and their website. I check it out. Website looks like they are all good but hey anyone can make a website to make theirselves look good. So I check reviews and tell her I don't like what i see. She tries everything to get me to not think badly about the reviews. I mess with her a lil longer then tell her well not interested. and hang up lol. They wanna call and annoy us so I like to annoy them, lol. This place is most likly a scam or has a lot of hidden fees they will get you with. I wouldn't buy one of their trips. They called me from the [protected] number.

Help! I keep getting calls on my cell phone from Cancun Caribbean Vacations saying I won. They ask me if over 25 and have credit card. Then transfer me to discuss vacation. I asked them to take number off their list and put on do not call list. They said okay, but THEY KEEP CALLING EVERY DAY AND SEVERAL TIME EACH DAY! They say they are affiliated with Gold Crown in Orlando Florida. They called me from the following phone numbers:
[protected]
[protected]
[protected]
People I spoke to include David, Victor Black, Luis Perez (mgr)...albeit, names are probably fake.
WHAT CAN I DO? Please, please, send me suggestions at cmoyer dot work at gmail dot com.

I experienced a lot of what has been said said before. May 28 2012, I purchased a holiday package for two adults and two children under 12. I made it abundantly clear to these people that I was travelling with my daughter, so the two adults were my daughter and myself - no children under 12.December 12 the final of a total payment of $599.00US was made.To make bookings I needed the travel date.I consulted with my daughter, we decided on a date So come January 04 2013, I called to make bookings. Of course I was kept waiting for very long periods and it"s only because I persevered calling back after some days that I finally got through to discuss this phase involving Booking my reservation. To my utter dismay, I was told that if i was not travelling with my husband they cannot make any bookings for me. For verification they played a tape recording of a woman speaking to me. During that "conversation" she rattles out a statement that I must travel with my spouse for bookings to be made, with my voice juxtaposed in agreement to this. I don"t recall ever speaking to any woman about this package.$599.00US was paid for my daughter and me as the two adults in this package.Trying to transfer this Booking to a friend is proving to be just as problematic. Something has to be done to change this nonrefundable stand by Premier Cancun Vacations and to limit if not stop further exploitation of future holiday makers.

If you didnt take the trip, how can you say it's a scam? They tell you up front it is a non refundable package! Such pessimistic people! I am not a rep from this company, i simply pay attention before I give out my credit card number. They say you have to give hem money that day... NO you dont, the same offer or better will still be available a week later! I made them wait, did my research, found all I had to do was sit thru a time share (which I do NOT have the money to purchase so saying NO to that isnt very difficult), I sat thru it and enjoyed the rest of my vacation and spent a good amount of time at all four hotels.

Everything ive heard here is about refunds. This company is 100% CLEAR about this being NON REFUNDABLE from the get go! it is recorded and they do say it more than once so why all the complaints if u chose to give their credit card out after being told this? I am NOT a representative, i am a low income single mother who took advantage of this cheap vacation. Yes, i had to sit thru a time share, i knew that going in but all in all, after that was over, my daughter and i had a wonderful vacation together. I would like to hear from someone else who has really taken the vacation! and someone that really went to FL!

I was so displeased because these people from the sunset world made an access to my debit by calling my bank impersonating me. I told them that I've reached my limit in my credit so I won't be able to buy the package. They told me they will handle it. Not knowing they called my bank already. The bank had recorded the conversation. While I was talking to Jennie Garcia, she was so friendly i never even had the doubt that she would trick me by asking my bday, then ask what year. That was so careless of me. It was my bday that day. I don't know how they got my access number in my checking account but they did it. I remembered, they would keep holding my call n I was very busy with the kids that day. It was horrible, i think their hacking the net and even know about the telephone conversation I made. Beware!

Thanks for the info. Its of great help. I just called my credit provider cause I provided them my account yesterday thinking of a good getaway from work but to my dismay, I can't call the person ( Jennie. Garcia, a Filipina) who called me and offered me this promo, my credit provider is just waiting for the bill to appear in my statement so that they could do something about it. I called the customer service and it was Ron who answered the call giving me the assurance that the transaction made is legit. For now, I have to wait.

Rod Esparza (my agent) told me I had 12 months to book and 18 months to travel. I thought I would give them a try. I paid for this package. I emailed, called and left messages for Rod multiple times before my trip date. No response. I asked him to change my trip date (6 weeks before travel date). Rod responded with: you had 6 months to travel from the date you paid. Your vacation package will expire unless if you pay for an extension. I was in school at the time and didn't have anything planned. I was scammed by Rod Esparza. They will avoid all your questions once they have taken your money. They will lie to you before and after they have taken your money. They will also speak to you like crap after they have taken your money. These people are not honest people... Please believe me, DO NOT GIVE THEM MONEY!

I also got an automated call claiming I'd won a free vacation and was transferred to an agent. The agent name "Robert" said he is calling from
Sunset World Resorts & Vacations, Cancun. He said that I have won a thousands of dollar worth of vacation for just $698 . While on the phone I checked I have checked the web site http://www.sunsethotels.net/ and was really impressed. I was put under the false impression that the stay is at one of their four properties four i.e. Sunset Royal, Sunset Lagoon, Sunset Fishermen or Hacienda Tres Ríos. He said all we have to do is me and my wife have to attend a 90 minutes presentation. All I have to do is to give my credit card information.

I agreed to it and when I got the payment receipt by email to my shocking surprise it says the stay is at www.lagunasuites.com.mx not at Sunset World Resorts & Vacations. The electronic receipt was issued by Marketing 4 Sunset Group on behalf of Premier Cancun Vacations!. Their customer service email address is customercare@premiercancunvacations.com and web site is www.premiercancunvacations.com phone number [protected].

I've immediately called their customer service office and spoke with Ron Roussel and complained about it and asked for refund. He was rude and said they will not refund $698 as its a prepaid vacation with no refund. Upon further research on the internet I have found many similar cases of scam from premiercancunvacations.com.

I have called my credit card company and they said they are seeing charges from Tropical Travel and their web site is http://www.tropicaltravel.net.

My advise to everyone is that never provide your credit card information unless until they have a clean and clear refund policy. I have gone through every comment here and other forums and I can assure you 100% that the people who are writing positive reviews about them are their own people and trying to blend out their scam by posting good reviews. These people must be exposed.

For those who were charged by these people I guess your only hope is to get this refund is to call your credit card company within the first 30 days or on your first statement and immediately file a dispute. Credit card company will protect you because these scammers are not providing you what was promised. If you don't file your dispute on time you will NEVER get your money back.

Here is a list of businesses and people who are involved in this scam!

1) The phone number of the tele marketing company who will initiate this scam is +[protected]
The names are Robert, Ivan and the girl who will record your voice and take credit card information her name is Natalie and she is in the Verification Department (I think they use fake names !)

2) The company who handles the payment receipts and customer service contact information is as following:
Marketing 4 Sunset Group on behalf of Premier Cancun Vacations
web site: premiercancunvacations.com or www.premiercancunvacations.com
phone number: [protected]
Email: customercare@premiercancunvacations.com

3) The company who will process your credit card or whose name will appear on your next credit card statement is
Tropical Travel http://www.tropicaltravel.net/ phone number [protected]

Currently they are targeting customers in Canada.

@new-to-this1972

I'm really sorry, but everything I've stated is true. Unfortunately, when you go to book your dates, you are going to end up being asked to pay a lot more than what you expected for a family of four. My recommendation is to go to a reputed travel agent to plan for your vacation or expedia.ca. If you do what I did (complain profusely on the phone, you can get up to half your money back).

Depending on the season, a return flight to Cancun from YVR can cost you upwards of $600 (with taxes and fees) + luggage fees per person.

I am also in the 604 area code :) I guess they're targeting people from Vancouver since it's quite a high tourist traffic source for Mexico.

Premier Cancun Vacations. Complete Scam.

I got an automated call claiming I'd won a free vacation and was transferred to an agent. At the end of a forty minute conversation I was conned out of $600.

When I made reservations to follow up on this "deal" I was then informed there would be a $200 reservation fee.

I was put under the false impression that the vacation package was an all inclusive one. This was clarified for me when I attempted the reservation. All this extra cost would've added up to another $500 per person so I asked for my money back.

They made me sign and fax a disclaimer and I got half my money back.

I can't believe I fell for this [censor].

If you think my comment is bad maybe you should read what the employee of that scam telemarketing com. wrote me, hes laughing at the people who lost big time and money, hey you think im an idiot? Good for you if you like it that way but i sincerely think that most of the big chains in cancun are NOT there to promote the mexican culture for the mexican interest! Furthermore we have a big problem of biodiversity losssss in that region as well and guess what that kind of tourism activity ISNT helping at all. Thank you.

What ive been scam with is an excessive pricing (almost double your money because your are a poor and invasive telemarketing touristic agency who just want to make money) for a cheap and low quality area of staying not even in a walking range of distance for the too crowded beach anyways and stinky huge buildings destroying the wonderful natural beauty of the carribean sea ( i'm so sorry that so many people can't actually admit that those infrastructures are destroying PERMANENTLY the naturals ecosystems of the region!) you promise things that are LIES like you can stay in 3 main motels in differents areas like in the riviera maya which i affectionate to found out it is just for a daily visit available after 3hres timeshare ah!
I am really sorry for you if you are happy to work for this shamefull entreprise and laugh on top of it off the people you rip off, shame on you.

I am very sad that you people take all this as a scam, I work for that company and make the best vacation times for a lot of people, of course those that really listen to what we are offering and do not invent things that are not included. Stay away form cancun saids a comment of some fulks, yeah you know we do not need people so unhappy here, we are a beautiful beach area, number one in the Carribbean, full of nice mexicans flavors and traditions and you can stay in your cold weather during the winter, honestly won´t affect us. And for those that said that these are Motels in Cancun, let me tell you, make a good research, in a Hotel Zone the type of Cancun´s Hotel Zone there is no such Motels, I wonder why the Ritz Carlton, Marriot, Hilton, Westin and a lot more have invest in these area, because it sucks? I don´t think so. These is not for everybody my friend, so maybe that is why you are so upset. Any case is funny to read all your comments, post more please it really makes me laugh

Beware of positives on these scams. People who work for the scams are posting.
If you want a really great vacation - find a local travel agent. If you know where you are going - hook up with a major hotel chain. Find out local information on a website like Tripadvisor.com - be skeptical of glamourous reviews and pay attention to the negatives.
Stay away from Cancun - especially the Free Vacation winnings!
Stay away from points based Vacation Clubs - They are scams. You are wasting your money.

We even already gave them 600$ and i'm sorry for you folk thinking you had OH such a great time, this crazy folks attack people on the phone and just try their best to suck any money out of your wallet for a stupid motel in mexico, and let me tell you that, i did researches on the net and you can get way cheaper deal and this poor rated motel than with this stupid travel agencie or are they? Cause i was wondering what they are? a badgering telemarketing companie that want to rip off right! They should be put down, believe me ther are NOT there to offer you a better mexican sejour you can get way better without them!

My employer received a call from this travel agency, they were looking for a different person so I said wrong number then afterwards they been chatting with me and offer me their once in a life-time promo. They were so nice and friendly on the phone. Since I don't want my employer to find out that I've been chatting on the phone while at work I just gave my number. From that time they never stop calling me that day until 10 in the evening. I told them I don't want the deal, but then they said the lady that reserve the promo on my behalf will lose her job and will be sent back to her country once I didn't close the deal. That I need to hurry because I'm going to missed their promo, I'm the last one out of 20 lucky people who can get the once in a lifetime promo. They ask for so much information regarding how I can pay the amount or even partial just to settle the transaction that night. It's non-refundable that is why they are not worried wether I pay partial as long as I get the vacation package right away. They even connect me to the bank to authorized payment because my balance is not enough to cover the payment that they required. They said its recorded but it would be private, but I'm surprised that the lady knew everything I discussed with the personnel on the bank and asked me why not have penalty if they will allow me authorized for the payment. I'm very confused and feeling unsecured with that transaction but still this lady from mypremiervacations was really giving me too much pressure just to purchase the vacation package, and blaming me that one of their co-employee will lose her job. She said I wasted their time, how come when I already said I don't like the promo. I'm asking when is the maximum date that I can pay for the package because I'm not really decided yet..but then she transferred me to other personnel then they start to ask me of my credit card number. It was so annoying, since that day they keep calling my number and offering me some promo and telling me that I can ask someone else like friends to get the same deal that I had from them. I hope you learned from my experience, All this things, like FREE and PROMO is just too good to be true.
