March 5, 2018 I, Vickie Benincosa & Robert Benincosa purchased a flight from Salt Lake City (SLC), UT to Tel Aviv, Israel flying from SLC to LAX on American airlines, LAX to Tel Aviv on El Al airlines. Departure dates were Oct. 23 returning Nov. 6. I also booked two other couples on the same flights as my guests, Hoggans & Hiltons; PNR # OSKNPC, TL8KLN, UFFBPW. We also purchased CSA Travel Protection. When we received our E-Tickets our middle names were not listed. I called PVC and asked them why and they said I did not enter them. I informed them that all three of us were together and they witnessed that I did enter them (in fact their system asked for the EXACT NAME on our Passports so we all pulled out our passports to verify). We all were concerned that we would have problems in Israel if our ticket names did not match our passport. I told PVC that there was a problem with their system that we did infact enter our middle names. On 4-5-2018 PVC sent me a letter stating that they contacted El Al Israel Airlines, and they were informed that the missing middle name wouldn't be a problem upon boarding. I asked for a written letter from EL Al to confirm this but never received one. Then on June 21st we were notified that El Al cancelled the flight to Tel Aviv scheduled on Oct 24 and they automatically changed the flight to the 25th. I called Preferred Vacation Club and told them this does not work for us because we had to catch a tour on the 24th. The said they would get back with us (they never did). I called them multiple times to get this resolved but got nothing from them. Of course my guests were very concerned especially with the problems with PVC and not getting a substantial result. I continued to call PVC to get this flight problem corrected and get a new flight and tickets. They continued to never call me back. Finally, in June, I called El Al Airlines, [protected], and told them the problem and that PVC has still never responded to me. The El Al rep told me the only option was a flight leaving Oct.22 from SLC to NYC on JetBlue Airlines, then leaving NYC the following day, on El Al, at 6:00PM. I told her that was an awful flight being we would not get any sleep for over 48 hours! She said that is all she had. I called the Hilton's (on another phone and they said no, she has a medical condition she was concerned about). I called the Hoggan's and they said "I guess if that is what is available". The Hilton's received a full refund. The Hoggan's, mainly because of their lack of confidence with PVC decided to look on their account with PVC to verify everything showed cancelled and the new flight. The original flight still showed active on PVC's system so DeAnn called PVC who confirmed that the flight was not cancelled. After explaining everything to PVC and getting no where she called EL AL who informed her that there was a problem with the flights with JetBlue, that we should be concerned with that leg of the flight because she did not see her booked on it and also that JetBlue flight would not be supported by anyone if there ever was a problem. At this point, July 26, the Hoggans and Benincosa's were so distressed over all the lack of support, help, and results from PVC; and the fact that we are concerned because this is an international flight and not feeling confident that we wouldn't have problems out of the country we both decided to cancel this flight. I called El AL and cancelled the flights for Vickie and Robert, which she would cancel them and informed me of a $250 fee per passenger to cancel and it could take 30 days for our refund. I called PVC Sept 7th and asked where my refund was and they said they will check into it and call back... they never called. Yesterday, Sept 20th I decided to call EL AL to see if they sent the refund and they said they released it on 7-26-18 to PVC. Today September 21st I called PVC and after getting nowhere with the rep I demanded a supervisor who I finally got, Marico. All Marico would tell me is they are still working on it. I informed him that PVC has had my money since 7-26 asked what the problem was. He said they need written approval from EL AL. I told them I could call EL AL and get it (since they don't seem to be able to) and asked where I could have the written info sent but Marcio wouldn't give me any further information. All he kept saying is they will call me later!
I really don't know where else to go with this! Both the Hilton's and the Hoggan's received a full refund but for some reason they are treating me differently. Please help. My email is [protected]@hotmail.com, phone [protected]
