After our wedding was over, a friend of ours booked Preferred Car and Limousine to drive us to the airport hotel for the night which was roughly a 30 minute drive. During the drive, my wife (the bride) got car sick and vomited on the back floor mat of the car. We had to ask the driver to pull over and help us out, in which case his help was virtually non-existent. We asked to clean up the mess at the time, but he (the driver) stated that it was not a problem and that the company will take care of it.
Upon returning home from our honeymoon, we found out that the limo company billed us $300 for the clean up of the limousine. The price to clean up this mess would have been no more than $70, maximum, since non of the vomit landed on the seat or the permanent carpeting of the vehicle. The company harassed the friend of ours who placed the order for the limo, and essentially forced her to pay the fee before having the ability to consult additional outside sources for advice on the matter.
