Predicto.com Unathorized Charges

This company finds mobile phone numbers and just starts billing them. You don't have to sign up or agree to anything. They bill $9.99 a month. Their whole business model is that many people autopay their bills and never look at them, thus will never notice if they go up by $10. We noticed the charge from PredictoMobile and another company called ChalkBoardQuiz, each for $9.99 and called Sprint to have them blocked. On further examination, we had been billed for Predicto for 20 months, and ChalkBoard for 12 months. They are scamming literally millions of people the same way.
Check your cellphone bill! We can't let the scammers win!

Predicto.com Unauthorized charges on t-mobile bill

Today, I noticed that i am getting charged every month $9.99 for some premium services (should have checked earlier). On calling the t-mobile came to know that it is getting billed from predicto.com. Got there number from t-mobile and called. Lady told me that I have registered through some sweepstakes... really doubt that I ever registered and don't think I ever authorized them for charges. I am told that they will respond in next 24 hours.. lets see otherwise write to FCC..

Predicto.com keep getting texts and I don't have texting on my cell phone. They also charged me 9.99 onmy cellbill that I did not authorize.

This company charged me 9.99 on my T-Mobile bill and it was not authorized by me. They also keep sending me texts and I don't have texting on my phone, so each one is a charge. I want it to stop.

Predicto.com unauthorized charge on my T Mobile bill

on 10-12-09 there was charge of 9.99 to my t-mobile bill that i never authorized. i called predicto and they told me to fax a copy of the charge to them and i also sent an email. no one responded so i called again and was told to fax the charge to them again. this happened 4 times and no one has responded yet! i was told that they were sending the documentation to "corporate" and someone would respond within 2 business days. of course that neve happened. everytime i call i ask to speak with a supervisor and its the same womans voice on the other end. my next move is to contact the FCC and FTC.

We are sorry to hear about your experience. Please be aware that we at PredictoMobile take customer satisfaction very seriously and would like to address any concerns you may have. We may well have never responded to you because we didn't receive your Fax. Did you send it to [protected]? If it's easier, you could send a file of the bill in question via email. You can get contact information at http://predicto.com/support.

Please note we use an industry best practice double opt-in to prevent inadvertent or fraudulent sign-ups. To enroll in our service, a prospective member must first submit their cell phone number on the PredictoMobile sign-up page which clearly explains our terms and conditions including the monthly price of the service and billing to the cell phone. We then send a text message to their cell phone which again discloses the essential membership terms. They then must correctly enter the PIN on our website or reply with a confirmation SMS message from their cell phone to activate the account. The double opt-in process and clear disclosures ensures a high level of consumer protection and satisfaction. If a member wants to cancel the service, they can simply text “stop” to 654654 or call Customer Service or go to http://predicto.com/support.

Predicto.com Fraudulent charge on T-Mobile bill for $9.99

A fraudulent charge appeared on my T-Mobile that was unauthorized on 10/23/09 in the amount of $9.99. I looked up predicto.com on the internet and it said that they were a scam charging innocent people without their authorization. T-Mobile said that I needed to call Predicto at [protected] to get the credit.

I never contacted predicto, but somehow they got my cell number and begin to text me.I never responded to any of their texts, until one day i got tired of receiving unwanted texts and i asked them to stop.Predicto said they would stop with the texting and they did, but they is still billing 9.99 on my bill.Predicto is nothing but a rip off, please pay attention to your bill.Predicto have been billing me for months and they will only reimburse me 9.99

Predicto.com unauthorized charge

A charge for $9.99 showed up on our T-mobile acct. It listed it as from 'Predicto.com'. We called T-mobile and they said they would remove the charge from our bill. WARNING---PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR BILL EACH MONTH. My husband and I are 'old' school and we don't text or anything. So we were very surprised when this was added to our acct. for something we didn't authorize.

This company, 'Predicto.com' needs to be investigated.

Predicto.com keeps sending text messages

I don't know who this company is, or how they got my cell number but I keep getting these text messages. I have tried to stop them but they just answer with another text, saying wrong code.

Today I noticed that I am getting billed $9.99 extra every month since June 2010 for some premium services. On further inquiring, I came to know that it was billed by '654654Predicto' some predicting game/sweepstakes. I never authorized them for any such services, now on calling them they say they are ready to refund but only for last three billings...
What measures I can take to get full refund or where can I complain against them ?

I did not sign up to get all the calls coming in on my cell phone. And it is costing me big bucks. I want the calls to stop.

I immediately called AT&T upon receiving my first message and complained. The rep said that I had 2 options 1) purchase a blocking feature for 4.99 per month, or 2) call them back if I run over my text messages and they would credit it back then. He specifically said not to reply anything to the number--not STOP, not ANYTHING ...apparently doing so can sign you up for their "subscription" and then you are really screwed.
