paving
This company (Frank) took a $200.00 deposit from my elderly mom and told her they would start the work when she got the permit this was on July 17, 2019 my mother got the permit a week later.she tried calling the company the office and the cell number for months leaving messages with no luck it is now September 16, 2019 . We tried calling from a different number and Frank answered and said he would come two days later and he never showed up.maybe it's a blessing because reading these complaints about there workmanship. My mother wants her deposit back not intrested in these guys doing any work on her driveway. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY.
driveway paving
Had my driveway paved July 2018 . With in the first 6 days the payment started breaking apart all along the side lines, and the payment did not settle smoothly at all.
Frank was the individual who spoke to us originally and was our main point of contact .
Contacted frank immediacy and he said he would come see it and fix the issue . NEVER did he come . Called him again and again - every single week and each time he would say "I'm coming this day and that day " .
Finally frank told me to call the head office "Joe " spoke to Joe who told me I have 2 years warranty and "NOT to worry "
Unfortunately when I've paid you $ 1550 to do a specific job and it's NOT done ... I'm going to worry . I've consistently waited for this company to come fix the problem - huge waste of my time . When i expressed this to head office - Joe said "are you an expert in paving ?, No, so you don't need to be home when I come " . I'm not sure how that makes any sense ? Why would you not want to be home when work is being done on your property ?
At this point it's September 2018, and no action has been taken .
Horrible company and horrible business practise . I have filed a complaint with the consumer business beaurea because clearly this company is not taking responsibility for their work .
Avoid at all cost .
dishonest company
i did my driveway with power pack paving the guy name is sam and he told there is two year warranty.after 6 months the driveway start to fall apart and the the curb is cracking. try calling the company(sam) left many massages but no answer.do not deal with them dishonest company.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I agree with all the above comments. I signed a contract with a guy named Sam to pave my driveway with asphalt. I paid a deposit, waited two months but no one came to start the construction. I called Sam and the office numerous times but no one picks up at all. Finally, I got Sam to come two months later to find out what was going on. It turns out that the job "was not legal according to the Markham by law" and he refused to return the full deposit back. He started threatening me and was very unprofessional. As with the comments above AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! DO YOUR RESEARCH ONLINE AND DO NOT CHOOSE THIS COMPANY!
I did sign a contract to do my driveway with the same company (Power Pack Pavement Limited), a month ago and gave a deposit to that sales guy named SAM. They were supposed to start the driveway job 2 weeks ago but they never showe up.
I left some messages but no response from them.
The only phone number i have from them is [protected]. I found out that they don't have an office.
I found out that the phone number belongs to:
Joe Galluzzo
52 Eden Ave
Markham, ON L3R 8R7

Please don't deal with this company, totally unprofessionnal poeple...amateurs
I agree FULLY. driveway started to crack and chunks came out 1 month after the paving. contacted the company and left several messages to NO avail. Called and finally got a voice on the phone, the thick accented Italian gentleman tried to sell me another paving and when he understood I wanted my warranty honoured he said he'd come out the next day...what do you think happened? NOTHING. AVOID LIKE THE PLAUGE. HUNDREDS OF COMPLAINTS with the Better Business Bureau, check their site and do your research, as I wish I had since I went with a whim as the door to door salesman was doing a bunch of driveways on my street.
Paving
I signed a contract with a guy called Sam of Power Pack Paving in June 2008 to have my driveway and walkway paved. They came to do the walkway in July. However, on day 1 they finished the walkway, I found obvious defects. They did not even do the step on the walkway properly as such the height of step is not in accordance with the Building Code (>8 inches in height per step). The concreate blocks they laid along the driveway do not align with the walkway, etc.
I called them several times in the summer. Always answering machine. When they called back and promised to come to fix the problems, they never showed up. It has happended in 3 occasions. It was very frustrating.
Now summer is gone. The driveway is still unpaved and the other problems on the walkway are still unresolved.
Any suggestions?
By the way, they did my neighbour's driveway on the day they did my walkway. My neighbour found out the next day after they did their driveway that they damaged the water valve on the driveway during paving. The City of Markham needed to come and cut the fresh driveway (which was 2 day old) to fix the water valve. Power Pack Paving did not want to come to repave my neighbour's driveway as they were paid on the day they damaged the water valve.
They just dropped off a flyer in our mail box here in markham. Glad I read the complaints before bothering with these clowns. Thanks.
Does anyone know of a credible paving company in markham?
I agree. They did a terrible job for me as well. I am not happy with my driveway. it is very thin as well. The edges are done in a terrible way. I'm wondering if i can take actions against these guys.
