posthousing.com review: Scam 11

This company is a scam! It claims to help those in the military relocate, but all they do is make money off of the local advertisers by the military bases who believe they are supporting the troops. No one even knows about these sites, and no business who have ever advertised on these sites has ever gotten any business from the military. It costs $350.00 for the ad, and the telemarketer gets $125.00 per sale. Post Housing keeps the rest. Most categories are empty, and have been for years, because people are aware that they have been scammed - after the fact. Write to the BBB about this scam company and shut them down!

As a mortgage professional of 14 years, I did feel rather scammed after a whole year of "service" using these guys. Not one call on my AD. Not one call from the sales Rep Diane. In fact when I called her a couple months ago and she said she would look into things for me, no one called back. I'm not sure the company is a scam or not, but advertising with them is. It's a $0 return and loss of money. DO NOT pay them a dollar to advertise to military, you will not get any business. I wish I had read this before giving them money. I hope this helps someone considering using them in the future.. DON'T DO IT!

I disagree with the complaint. I had a company out in phoenix, az and lukehousing.com provided me with plenty of business!
This seems like a very irate ex employee!

I worked for PostHousing in [protected] and in no way did they claim that they helped in anything other than a great way to get service people and families familiar with their new base and what businesses would be nearby and happy to serve them. I was quite happy and will be connecting with them again as I wish to work from my home office going forward.
My clients pretty much all of them renewed their Ads with me and more than once.

I'm confused about these complaints. They seem like serious sour grapes. A "scam" indicates some sort of deception or not delivering what is promised. I do not work for Posthousing.com, but I don't see how they are ripping anyone off. Their SEO position is high and I imagine a lot of people will click on them. I do know this, I used to work for an SEO Optimizer. Everybody pays to advertise on a website, that is how webmaster's make money, Just ask Mark Zuckerberg! These replies do seem like they are written by employees, for sure, but the complaints seem like they are written by people who have an ax to grind and they state the obvious. They just seem pissed off, but no real evidence of any Scam. Their BBB rating is A plus and that kind of speaks for itself.

The positive comments are obviously written by employers/employees..as are with most complaint boards. I challenge anyone who has had a positive experience with paying for ads on this site, to leave their company name and location as a true testimony. Otherwise, it's just empty rhetoric coming from a defensive employee. Who else would recommend and leave a link for the BBB or compare contract charges?
How about leaving statistical data on how much traffic each site gets- And lets try not to pick the obvious busy locations like Camp Pendleton that are only busy because of the rotation rate.
The comments above stating that the military never uses the ads, most of them are empty spaces and there is no official affiliation with the actual military installations are TRUE. As a former ad agent, I felt disgusted after a while of selling ad space these to business owners who would pay with great expectation only to later complain with great disappointment.
They only provide a generic number of hits divided amongst all sites- This has no actual relevance to what a business owner wants to hear as far as statistics go for their specific installation. There will always be shark companies out there so unfortunately a complaint is just a complaint-
Hopefully, the business owners seeking advertisement are smart enough to ask the right questions so they can make the right investment.

As a former employee (salesperson) I hired on believing I was providing a service to military relocating personnel. However I quickly came to realize: There websites have NO CONNECTION WITH THE BASES AT ALL! Are not provided to relocating military.

I just checked out this company and checked their position on Google for housing at Camp Pendleton and found them on the first page of my Google search. The site is full of helpful information for service members being relocated there along with links to local businesses. I don't know how much more you can expect as an advertiser for the amount of money they charge for an annual contract.

PostHousing has provided me with an excellent opportunity to reach the military market. I've been listed with them for years and it's hands down the best return on my investment for the cost versus benefit. They have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau which can be verified here:

I highly recommend advertising with PostHousing.com if you're looking to gain more business from military families.

Obvious employee review/comment. I've called everyone that actually has ADs on there with me. NO ONE says this or has had a rewarding experience. I recommend anyone thinking about using them to call people currently marketing with them and ask THEIR opinion. Not the opinion of a sales person on here. BOOOOO!

This site is an excellent way for military families in need of referral services and direct housing services, It is a shame that the person that wrote the negative review is only looking at what he/she sees at their own lost revenue, not the service that the site provides to those that protect and serve our country.
