Go to the website there is an advertisement saying that you can get four posters for 2.00 each. Then, on your bank charges you see a charge for 39.80. It said nothing on the advertisement about that. Beware!

Why are businesses like this legally in operation. Why don't they care of the numerous complaints that are posted about their company. If it were my company i would care. They are out for the quick kill and scam honest people out of their money.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
It is a scam!

I saw an advertisement offering 4 posters for $2.00 each. I ordered four posters, and when I checked my credit card statement I saw a $39.00 charge. I never agreed to this!

I went to their website and discovered that they enroll you into some kind of membership. The terms and conditions of this service are not clearly posted on the order page. I think they do this on purpose to hide the fact that the customer will be billed more than he expects.

Their terms of service do not even specify how much they charge for shipping and handling. It's clearly a violation. Every customer is not aware how much they will take from the credit card. Here is from their site

"Your initial order will be shipped to you within 10 days of your ordering. Please wait at least 2 weeks from order to receive your initial order. A one-time handling fee will be added to your order. Cancel anytime by calling us at [protected]."

I called to cancel my "membership" right away.

Please note that they will charge you a whopping $9.95 per poster, plus a shipping and handling fee.

Run from this company. I hope someone gives them a lesson and closes their business.

Here is a link to their Terms of Service. Please read carefully before making your decision.

This company needs to shut down. I was ripped off $158.00. They charged me for 2 orders of posters, conveniently 3 days before my credit card expired. I called and left messages, no one ever answers, and no one has called back. It has been 2 months!

Why are they still around?

I have the same problem I have not ordered anything from them for over two years now and told them back then to take me off of the mailing list. In the last two weeks I have received four posters from them and every time I call I get the same response "leave a message and someone will get back to you". I returned all four posters and the Postmaster is getting tired of it as well.

I was also ripped off by this company. I ordered 5 posters and was charged the appropriate ammount. I canceled my account with them. A year later, they sihpped me more posters that I did not order. Remember...this was after I canceled my account with them! They charged my credit card $79.oo. They do not answer their phones! I called many times during business hours. I got through once, but have never gotten through since. I will gladly participate in any lawsuit.

Ordered some relatively hassle free posters from them 5 months ago, and canceled the account. Now, 5 months later, there's a 79$ fee out of my account for two posters that have shown up at the house (unopened, being sent back). The Bank wants to charge me $35 for an overdraft, $27 to block posterpass purchases, and $10 to give me a new card.

That's $151 because I STUPIDLY ordered from these people in the past.

Don't do it, you'll only regret it.

The same thing happened to me. I was first charged the $79 then another $81.37. After I was assured my account was re-cancelled and my money would be returned, I was charged another $79 and have not received posters in over 6 months since my initial cancellation.

I'm just disgusted that they are ripping so many people off (including me!)... I actually contacted my local FBI office and they told me that unauthorized charges to your credit card IS CREDIT CARD FRAUD and is handled by the United States Secret Service Agency! I've already left a message with them and I will be filing a complaint and making them aware of Peel, Inc. Please do the same... Together we can expose this company!

Also, here is the form to file a complaint with the Illinois Attorney General's Office:

I also signed up for the $2 posters in order to fulfill a requirement for an iphone, but the actual charges were outrageous. I was able to get refunded for one of the charges against me, and was able to close out my account with them by calling their phone number, or so I thought. Now it is about 8 months later and suddenly a $80 charge from them has appeared. I knew this company had some shady business practices, but charging someone almost a year after they had closed out their account? I can't believe they are still in business! Fortunately I called my bank and they were able to credit me the transaction and I had my card closed out so that they couldn't do this ### to me again >:-( I sincerely hope they get what's coming to them...

Our credit card has just been charged for $79.00. We did not order anything from this awful company. We called them and they said it was a mistake and they would refund the charge immediately but they did not. Wed reported them to the Better Business Bureau but something tells me they will continue ripping off people like they have been without anyone putting an end to it.

If you are having trouble getting through there is something else you can do. I at least got a response and I'm waiting the 72 hrs that they say it takes to be refunded. I sent an e-mail 4to CustomerService@posterpass.com

Not only did I get a response but I got 3 e-mails from 3 different people, Brian Dale, Beverly Simmons, and Rebecca Ramirez. Brian Dale is the owner of the company and Rebecca Ramirez is the Director of Customer Service.

I would suggest first sending an e-mail to the customerservice@posterpass.com, if you do not receive any reply try contacting Rebecca Ramirez.

SAME PROBLEMS! The terms and conditions say cancel at anytime! I canceled after first shipment - the second came, I refused the shipment but was charged the 39.95 anyway - the real kicker is - they never refunded my money, they have hit me with 2 more charges of 79.95 after canceling - I have only a total of 8 posters. Credit card company would not stop their charges - so I had to cancel my card. THE COMPANY WILL NO LONGER TAKE MY PHONE CALLS! It automatically goes to voicemail AND the posters they recently sent have a totally different company name! DO NOT GIVE THEM CREDIT CARD INFORMATION!

Here's how you get a hold of this company:

Brian Dale:
briandale@peel.com

or

Beverly Simmons
bsimmons@peel.com

Contact either one of them and you have a good shot at getting your money back. If they play hard ball, threaten them with complaints to the BBB or FTC. I told them I filed a police report against them for fraud, they got back to me REAL quick after that.

Good luck!

If you are still having trouble with them contact this person:

Brian Dale
briandale@peel.com

I got a $79 charge 1 1/2 years after I canceled my account. It took me some time trying to get in contact with these people, but Brian Dale says he is the "president" of the company and he told me I will have a refund within 72 hours. I have yet to see if that is true.

Good luck!

I FINALLY got through on the phone this morning. I started calling at exactly 8:50Am Mountain Time and it took three attempts and waiting until they pass you through to their voice mail. I made it very clear to the woman on the phone that I DID NOT order the posters and that I wanted a refund. Once she finally agreed to refund my money she told me that my refund would not happen until they received the REFUSED package. Be very careful, this means that if you open it you are going to get stuck with a store credit! I saved the tracking number off of the box and hopefully I get my money back ASAP. I'll update the progress as to if I get my money back.

Just cancel the card you made your original purchase on and save yourself what money you may have left. I've been calling 'customer service' for DAYS and have left SEVERAL messages. No one ever answers.
Has anyone on here actually gotten through to this company?

I too got ripped off by posterpass.com. I had actually went through Home Art Direct and ordered 4 posters for my daughters on 10/13/09 and by the 19th this company had taken out 240.00 from my account. I now have to go through the bank and file a dispute. I also had to hot card my debit card and now I have to wait to get another. I too will file a lawsuit in two days if these people do not call me and return my money back to my account. Whats funny? They say if you have a problem, call. Yeah right. You call and it automatically goes to a recording, you leave a message and no return call. That's fine, I have to problem with getting this company shut down and taken off the internet. Done messed with the wrong lady.

Got crappy news for you friend. They will tell you it requires two months time ( two billing cycles ) and then it will take 7-21 business days to process the refund. I am just now getting my money back in dribs and drabs three months later. These people are low-down crooks who mostly employ college-dropouts and low-wage lackeys to answer phones. Their managers are rude and inconsiderate. I believe these people should be shut down but the Illinois State Attorney Generals Office has recieved so many complaints about them before when they had a different name they just changed it and the process started all over again. Good Luck with getting your money back.

I made an order the beginning of June of this year (2009). The offer was for 4 posters and 4 matching mugs, would come out to be 1$ each. It was a great deal so I jumped on it via the SuperRewards application on Facebook.
In this order I put in especially for a set that my autistic nephew would love of Mohamad Ali and Liston, and planned to give them to him for his birthday today August 10 2009.
I recieved the posters approx 5 days after my order, but was sent whit mugs. I called and was told they sent the white mugs temporarily until the ones I ordered came in. I waited another couple of weeks and called again to be told they don't know anything about it and that I recieved my order as intended. I went through the whole thing again explaining the situation, then was told that yes the mugs were on backorder but would be back in in two weeks.
Two weeks came and went, nothing, so I called yet again...was told the same thing. I was frustrated and hung up on the associate.
Today I was very upset when I couldn't give my nephew what I had ordered for him.
I called today and was told it would be another two weeks. Then when I called the associate out for a guarentee, he then said there are none.
I was then put on hold and told yes they would be two more weeks however he urged me to pick four additional posters at no cost.
WELL OF COURSE NO COST I ALREADY PAID.
I informed him that I wanted what I ordered. He kept me on the line another ten minutes explaining that the mugs may take alot longer.
I finally told him I would have to think about the poster idea, but it's not what I want and I think it is dispicable for this company to be able to legally manipulate their customers this way.
I plan to pick out some posters, however I am indeed going to be reporting this company to the BBB (Better Business Bureau). Maybe they can do something so people are not scammed in the future.

I am lucky that my transactions were through Paypal. I got all my money back after filing some forms. This company is a scam. I believe you should send letter to the TV stations (local and national media), the Federal Trade Commission and your local State Attorney General. I even called my congressional representative since there are still lots of companies out there praying on the people.
Take care and I hope you can get your money back somehow.

I'm dealing with these ### as we speak, luckly my bank when I use my Debit card puts a pre-authorized hold on these transactions, so i was able to realize whats going on. I just got off the phone with the bank and have canceled my card so these crooks cant steal anymore of my money even before I can talk to them. So far they have debited my account for $8.00+$39.80+$39.80=$87.60 for 4 posters what a joke. Now I have to wait till 10am to call these people and cancel my account, but atleast I have the piece of mind that they wont be able to bleed my account any further and I will dispute the charges with my bank once they post. Wonder if anyone has ever tried to email this jberman@posterpass.com? Although it is probably a fake email or doesn't except emails from outside people because this guys email would be blowing up. Hey Regor1234 im also from Florida, if you need anyone else from Florida to give the Gov Crist any more documintation don't hesitate than ask. These crooks need to be stopped and I will never ever buy anything else online from survey sites or publishers clearing house.
