Pollard Brook / Special Assessment

All owners have received a special assessment due to their sales in timeshares dropping and some owners are not paying their maintenance fees. They have assessed all owners almost $500 and given them 30 days to pay this "special Assess, emt" If not paid then we are going to be sent to collections. We also have been charged late fees and interest fees. I have been told I cannot sell, trade or use my timeshare until we pay. Is there any lawyer that would be willing to take this on?

    I just found out the same thing I have been turned over to collection also and was never even notified of any change in management or notified of anything just put into collection and received a notice from this collection I am furious with this resort as I am paid in full on my timeshare and now they decide to have an assessment plus maintenace fees late fees and every other fee they can think of never had been notified of a vote to vote in my vote or opinion please any suggestions on how to handle this
