PoliceAuctions.com daliglio diamond ring auction # 2239662

I bid $33.00 On this ring.
The next thing I knew a notification came up on the screen saying I won this item for $105.
I never been $105 on this item and I did not click on anything at all for $105.
I manually put in $33 where it said submit your offer.
I took a screenshot of my offer for $33.
I also have a picture of the $105 then it says that I owe after I put the $33 in. This makes no sense. I was wondering if you could give me some advice on what to do from here.
Thank you very much

I am adding an additional picture that I forgot to put up. This is an important picture of a screenshot that shows my bed for $33. I made two bids. This was the highest Bid that I made.
After I bid the $33, I was notified that I won the auction for $105. I do not want to purchase this item for $105 because I do not believe it is worth $105. I’ve been in the jewelry business most of my life and this is a plated piece. Plated jewelry is not worth that much. I will not pay more than $33 for a play the piece of jewelry I was willing to pay the $33 that I bid.

PoliceAuctions.com purchases not as depicted in photographs, descriptions & valuation

14K white gold, diamond, topaz ring (size 7 as advertised), but so weightless it can't be felt on my finger.
14K white gold, diamond ring (size 7 as advertised). Again so small & weightless.
'Solid' sterling silver, topaz necklace. The chain is so fine & the topaz so small, it's not visible on my person.

These items are a miniature copy of what is advertised on this site. They are like a child version of an adult product with a false quoted valuation. Very misleading & false representation of what now seems to be mass produced articles that are worthless.

If these items had been as advertised, they would be lovely, but instead a total waste of money. Considering I have bought these items in good faith for a total of $620USD, I believe I have every right to ask for a refund.

PoliceAuctions.com item misrepresented

On february 10th, I decided to buy a fossil to add to my collection. The name of the fossil is a Trilobite. I saw one one the PoliceAuctions.com website and began to bid. Immediately after I bid, another bid for a dollar more would pop up. It kept doing it, so I kept doing it, just to run it up. It finally stopped at $30. I bid $31 and won the item. I thought it was a 5-6 inch fossil, the picture of it was really detailed, as though it were a bigger size. I got charged $12.95 for shipping, so basically, I paid over $50. Imagine my surprise when this very small canister came in the mail. The trilobite was clearly a tiny baby and was actually a .5 inch trilobite, worth about $5. It's too much of a hassle to get your money back with this company, so I will never buy from them again. I wish I would have read the reviews first before purchasing. I think they have a 'bot' bidder to bid up the price.

How do you figure you paid over $50.00? You said you Bid $31.00, and won, then were charged $12.95, for Shipping, which it clearly states, on the Bid page you have to pay, if you win the item. $31.00 + $12.95 does NOT equal over $50.00! It equals $43.95! Also, people put in the highest amount they are willing to Bid, and the Auction will bid, for you, up to that amount, so it's possible that someone put their highest Bid, at $30.00, and you just happened to get your $31.00 in, before the time was up.

I've won bids on 8 items, so far and I've taken all 8 items to 2 of my Jewellers. All 8 items are Real, and worth 14 to 42 times the amount of what I bid on them.

This is what it says, on PoliceAuctions.com, about the Shipping. Would be a good idea, to read these things, before you Bid, as everything you Bid on will have a $12.95 Shipping Charge, attached to it. It explains why, below!

"We only ship this item to the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Ireland and New Zealand. Do not bid if you're shipping outside these destinations.

This Item Will Ship:

$12.95 Shipping Charge (Contiguous US)
Shipping Charge Includes Shipping, Handling & Insurance

Additional shipping charges will apply if the item is being shipped to a PO box or outside the Contiguous US states.

Shipments cannot be combined. All items are shipped separately so policeauctions.com can verify that each shipment was delivered and received."

PoliceAuctions.com website promotes double payment and has no real products of values

This is not an actual auction site... Its a ripoff site.

I made some bids on 6 items and paid for one when the system asked again with a red notice at the top to try again... I did... Stupid on my part
I went to my bank electronically and immediately noticed a double payment has been made

The items are worth at most 10% of what most people bid... This site is a rip off... The merchandise is overpriced, shoddy in construction and has little or no value for resale

Avoid this site at all costs

PoliceAuctions.com fraudulent business

I'm not sure of the value on posting on here TBH as the business only responds with cut and paste replies.
They don't deliver products a lot of the time although they claim to have sent the items. When the items do actually arrive they sometimes look like just really cheap costume jewellery and they don't exactly match the photo supplied on the auction.
There's not much point in complaining though as they will permanently suspend you from bidding which is probably a good thing anyway. And when you ask why all you will receive is a response saying they have a right to do so for any reason and they do not have to provide you with a reason.
Just save your time, save your money, and go somewhere reputable because this place sure isn't reputable in a good way.

I've Bid on, and won 8 Auctions, so far. Every item I've won, I've taken to my 2 Jewellers, to see if they're worth more than what I Bid, on them. So far, the Items I've Bid on are worth 14 to 42 times more than what my Bid was. Hmmmmm, seems kinda funny that if the items I won were "Fake" then why are they worth 14 to 42 times more than my Bids? Example; Tanzanite Ring, I won for a $39.00 Bid, according to my 2 Jewellers, it's valued at between $1500.00 to $1625.00. So, if it was "Fake", both my Jewellers would have told me, but both of them said it was Real, and that it was valued at a price way higher than my Bid. I trust these 2 Jewellers, 'cause I've been doing Business with them for many years, and they've never steered me wrong.

PoliceAuctions.com this place should be out of business!!

I made a bid on Police Auctions and won a pendant. After that I paid for my item and received a payment confirmation from Police Auctions.
Three days later I got another message stating that I need to pay for my pendant. I contacted customer service and they said that they did not receive the money and asked me to pay if I want to get my item. I told them that I had a confirmation message from them and their rep replied that it was sent to me by a mistake. I even contacted my bank and they confirmed that Police Auctions did receive the money! They are nothing but scammers and they stole from me. This place should be out of business!

PoliceAuctions.com police auctions us

My purchases from police auctions us have done nothing but disappoint. Not one of my purchases resembles the jewellery displayed. One item quoted 14crt white gold with 7 diamonds valued at $3300.00, I needed a microscope to even see the chain let alone the pendant and the diamonds are a joke. Took it to a jeweller he just looked at me like I was a fool when I told him what I paid. When I went to send a review it would reject my written word this site only take positive reviews. I believe their office has people bidding on items if the price is too low so they can inflate the price. Yes, I was the perfect sucker (Victim) making 10 purchases for christmas presents, I was too embarrassed to give most of them and had to purchase other gifts so I didn't offend my nearest and dearest. Read the truth which is not allowed to be displayed on the police auction site.
Ps the perfumes are cheaper if you buy them directly from the company. I almost made a purchase for alpha by raphael and saved $100 by buying from the company.
Save you hard earned $$$$ avoid the police auction site

PoliceAuctions.com fraudulent business practice! stay away!

People beware and do not waste your money on PoliceAuctions!
This was the biggest mistake I've ever made and I regret I did not listen to other users. I saw all the negative reviews but I was sure that everything can't be that bad and decided to give it a try. I made a bid and tried to win earrings for my wife. I wasted over $500 and when I received them I was shocked to find out they were not even real gold! They sold me a junk replica! There was no way to get my money back because they refused to accept anything back. What a scam site! Please, don't waste your money! I'm sure everything else they sell is nothing but garbage.

I disagree with your situation on Police Auctions! I have won numerous Bids on there for very nice jewelry! If you spent over $500 for ear rings, shame on you for not knowing how to Bid! They also tell you that the item are either Gold Plated or Silver Plated and everything is returnable. We have only had one issue with a stone coming out of the set, sent it back and got a refund and turned around and Bid on a nicer replacement! Everything has a degree of risk so read all the information before you buy anything anywhere!

I've, also, won several Bids (8) so far, and everyone of them has been worth 14 to 42 times more than what my highest Bid was...Example; the Tanzanite Ring I won, for $39.00, and took to my 2 Jewellers (both with whom I've been doing Business for many years and trust) they both told me that, "Yes, the Tanzanite is definitely real." They quoted the price between $1500.00 to $1625.00. Makes me wonder, if it was "Fake", then why would they quote that high of a price? Thing is...They wouldn't! I think a lot of people think that the Red Strike-Through price (at the top, to the right) is what the item they're bidding on, is worth...That's NOT what that is. PoliceAuctions.com NEVER posts, on their Site, what an Item might be worth. It even says so, right in the TOS. The Red Strike-Through price is what you can pay, for the item, if you want to buy it outright, and not wait for an auction to end. I read ALL the things, on the Site, before I placed my first Bid! That way, I wouldn't be in for any surprises!

Only thing I don't really like, about the Site is the $12.95 Shipping/Handling/Insurance charge on every item! That can get pretty spendy! Otherwise, I love PoliceAuctions.com! 😊

PoliceAuctions.com bad site

Made a bid on this auction website and won. I won really beautiful earrings and wanted to surprise my wife. So I paid for them and PoliceAuctions said I'll get my order within a week. One week passed and nothing. Contacted them and they assured me everything was fine. Earrings arrived three weeks later and looked nothing like pictures on their website! I wasn't even sure if they were real!
I demanded a refund but these scammers ignored me and never replied! Don't do the same mistake I did and avoid this site at all costs!

I am totally disappointed and absolutely mad with this online bidding. Imagine it is the police auction which should be the safest and most trustworthy. When i first came across this page i was so excited . Then along the way i noticed that the terms were you pay the price you bid and some $12-95 for various charges and no other charges. But when i paid and had to swipe my card charges, the handling fees was different, almost double the charges. It is USD and is4.4 times our ringgit.

Another major complaint is when there is a good item, a known group works in compliance with the auctioneers to blackout the bidding page so you cannot press the quick bid button. Or the whole screen would wipe off and by the time you go in again, the bid s over. If you notice that there are a few persons with fixed names who bid. This is most unfair. Even if you hit the bid button at the last second, the person who is working hand in hand with the auctioneers would flash the screen and mention that i have bid more than once so the other person wins. You should have another policeman to police the auctions. What a shame.

PoliceAuctions.com fraudulent website

This site here has nothing to do with the real police so don't fell for this scam!
I thought PoliceAuctions was a trustworthy site because there's a word "Police" there and I'm so angry at myself for falling for such a ridiculous scam!
I wasted my money and made several bids here and never won anything! And every time when I almost won they raised the price! Just a money waste and nothing more!
I also found many negative reviews about rubbish items, fake diamonds and stuff, so I'm actually glad that I quit PoliceAuctions.

PoliceAuctions.com one item never arrived

I have purchased some jewelry from this website and received everything but one item was missing and it was the most expensive one. I did not receive the ring which cost me over $800! Items that I did get were nice and I really liked them, but still I'm super disappointed and frustrated. $800 is big money and it's no wonder they did not deliver the most expensive item. According to all the reviews PoliceAuctions is a scam business. Well, I still hope that someday I will get my ring.

PoliceAuctions.com misleading bidding practice

When I placed a bid, the site rejected it, and sent a counter proposal. However, the amount was obscured by the yes button. When I attempted to see what they were suggesting, the site automatically referred me to my paypal account to pay for this item! I had no choice but to either accept the bid without knowing how much it was, or reject it. Had the offer been reasonable, I might have gone ahead and bough the item, but it was waaaaay overpriced. Adding shipping charges, yada yada yada, it was a ridiculous amount. I strongly recommend avoiding this site like the plague!

Was the $374.00 what you Bid on the 1933 $10.00 Indian coin, or was that what you paid for it? I've never seen anyone Bid that much, on any item, on PoliceAuction.com, unless it's for one of the more expensive items. Just so you know, the Red Strike-Through price you see, at the top right-hand side, of the Item is NOT what the item is valued at. It is what you can pay, for an item, if you want to buy it directly from the Site. PoliceAuctions.com NEVER posts the cost of what an item is valued for. All of these things ARE mentioned in the TOS, which you probably should have read, before you spent $374.00...You're mistake.

Everything I've Bid on, (8 items) and won has been REAL, and worth 14 to 42 times more than my Bids. My Garnet Ring, that I won for $17.00, is valued at $425.00 to $450.00, by my 2 Jewellers...My Tanzanite Ring, that I won for $39.00 is valued at $1600.00 to $1625.00, according to my 2 Jewellers...Swiss Blue Topaz Ring...Bid price, $13.00, valued at $600.00 to $625.00...Peridot earrings, won for $21.00...Valued at $300.00, to $325.00. These are just a few of the quotes, from my 2 Jewellers, on the Items I've won, on PoliceAuctions.com.

PoliceAuctions.com this company has one of the most deceptive and dishonest companies with a website on the internet

This company has one of the most deceptive and dishonest companies with a website on the Internet! Avoid policeauctions.com at all costs! Their products offered are sub-standard Chinese made items with very little value and their signed memorabilia is mostly fake! More than likely they have someone in the back room signing worthless items that they then sell on their site as valuable signed memorabilia.

My experience with them was a nightmare! I bought a book that was represented to have an authentic signature in it and that signature turned out to be a 100% fake! I was told that if I returned the book I would be paid a full refund within 5 days of them receiving the book back. I got an RMA number and returned the book and after 7 days of not receiving my refund I called them and spoke with a fairly stupid sounding girl who said they would process the refund immediately. Of course I never got a refund and I opened up a PayPal dispute/claim. The company never answered the dispute/claim and continued not to issue the promised refund.

I then saw on their site that the returned fake item was re-listed and resold, so I called them again. Once again I spoke with the stupid sounding girl and this time she gave me a song and dance that they had indeed refunded me and even gave me a fake PayPal refund number. I called PayPal and they told me the refund number did not exist in their system. PayPal checked their PayPal account and confirmed with me that no refund was ever issued under any number by them to myself.

Finally, after a month and a half and a big hassle PayPal took the money from their account and refunded me! Avoid these clowns at all cost, unless you are a glutton for punishment and disappointment!
