I just received the newly formatted magazine and it is very disappointing.I knew about the nude model removal but you guys went much too far. Removing your famous cartoons, the Playboy forum, the playboy jokes on the back of the centerfold and most of the iconic things that made the magazine popular is not going to get you more subscribers. Your mag is now just a big pile of advertisements that will not appeal to your base subscribers. I don't know that this is Hef's philosophy and whoever is guiding him in the new direction is way off base as to what a real men's publication should.I have been a subscriber for 40 + years but I will not be renewing. I have been a lifetime subscriber for almost 50 years. Last month I didn't even open the Playboy that I have loved so much that I have collected almost every copy I was sent. I have about 20 boxes in the attic. Why can't we have the old Playboy back?
You have to be kidding...really? Is the idea to make Playboy for a lesbian audience? I'm not sure where you think you are going here but the content, photographs, editorials, interviews and even the cartoons are so lame now. You have to be losing your audience by the thousands everyday...are you trying to run this thing into the ground? The last few issues have been a joke...someone help get the train back on the tracks!
Playboy went just a little too far. The nudes are one thing, but the famous cartoons, the joke page, advisor (of more than one question), all of the things that made playboy iconic. I was a long time subscriber, I have every issue since January 1967, joke books, calendar videos, etc., and now I am so disappointed in a magazine I lived my life with. One of your ads was hotter than the girls you honored. I may as well be subscribing to Woman's Day, or maybe even Sports Illustrated. You have created another 'womans' magazine that red blooded men (not wimps) would not subscribe to.

The lack of nudity and the Playboy was extremely disappointing in that I paid for a nude female magazine I got a ###ing maxim wanna be Magazine you guys are not going to make it unless you bring back full nudity so keep at it I'm might go buy some hustler stock because I guarantee there going to take all your sales away if you continue peddling that type of magazine
I agree with the other writers. I'm not at all happy with the new format. The cover up of women's bodies is embarrassingly prudish and juvenile. To say that Playboy isn't featuring nudes in their magazine because there is so much p*** on the internet is down right silly. Since when was Playboy p***? Playboy celebrated the female form. Now it covers it up. I have been a subscriber since 1976. I won't be renewing when my subscription ends.
I agree with Ben, I will never buy another Playboy subscription, because this new format really stinks! I also received the new swimsuit edition from Sports Illustrated at about the same time as my new edition of Playboy. Sports Illustrated IS the new Playboy magazine. I want my money back!
