I have filed a grievance with my insurance (Aetna, who in a letter to me recommended that I see another dentist) regarding Marlene Beeson, who is the dentist at this office located at:

Dr. Beeson is an incompetent dentist. She has created a lot of pain both for me and also my father. I have had to have remedial work done by another, qualified dentist at great expense. Seeing Dr. Beeson was the single worst medical decision of my life. I regret totally ever setting foot in that office.
Dr. Beeson: you have caused me great physical and emotional pain and suffering. Eating is not a pleasure anymore. Shame on you for doing so many fillings (poorly), in rapid succession without concern about the patient's health. Shame on you for drilling too close to the nerve and not putting proper sedative filling, resulting in lasting hypersensitivity. Shame on you for being perhaps the most incompetent and annoying dentist in Illinois. Shame on you for hiding behind consent forms and obfuscation - you are a butcher.

I'm sorry this happened to you, but I have had nothing but a wonderful experience with this dentist. I have moved and was still traveling to Forest Park to see her. Both my girls love her and she made them feel very comfortable. My youngest daughter actually LIKES going to the dentist because she has made them so comfortable. She has filled cavities for both my girls and myself and we never had any problems.
You have no idea about others' suffering. Since you don't know you have no authority to comment. Your good experience does not negate another's negative one. See negative reviews about this dentist all over the net. Check Yelp. Often the comments are censored. But with a little digging even someone of your intelligence may find them, it will just take a bit longer.
Dr. Beeson is the complete opposite. She is kind, gentle and makes you feel completely at ease about what she is doing. She shows you everything about your teeth and dental health on her tv screen. I've had dental work done by her as well as the rest of my family and not one of us has had an issue. We all love Dr. Beeson, she is the BEST.
If you have issues, you better blame yourself as you probably did not take care of your teeth at all and want to make someone responsible for your stupid decisions about your dental health. Blame yourself, not a dedicated professional.
