PLATINUM AUTO CORP, VANCOUVER BC, sells unsafe cars, cars that have been in major accidents that are not claimed, no record of the accident. They then say "NO ACCIDENT" I say "liar liar" The salesman is the owner but won't tell you until you threaten court action. They will not stand behind the product and are only interested in getting your money. Use EXTREME CAUTION when buying from this crook. Get them to give you a copy of a mechanical inspection on any vehicle you are thinking of purchasing. Platinum Auto Corp is a nightmare to try to get satisfaction from, they use the warranty companies to try to repair your car after it's off the lot, can you say fraud?
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS CROOK!

Note that Platinum Auto Corp has been renamed to Auto Linx Motors: http://www.autolinxmotors.com. Still the same location & same thieves running the place.

Went today to look at a suv, November 9th 2014, which was a 2011 X5. The sales man took us to the car and showed us the car which seemed to be in good condition from the outside. We were very interested in the vehicle and after he said the vehicle had a $3000 damage in the front end we wanted to take the car for a drive. The salesman said they have a policy which is they only let people test drive the vehicle if they are 100% sure that is the right vehicle for them and they wish to purchase it. I started getting a little bit sketched out. The tires looked brand new but chinese brand, i asked him if they were run flats they said of course, they weren't. We went into the office to get some numbers together and he claimed he had just done an inspection. The inspection was from 10, 000Km ago and he said there is nothing wrong. On the back of the inspection was a poorly put together fake Brian Jessel paper that had pictures of BMWS and a chart with x's that showed nothing was wrong with the vehicle. Once I claimed the paper was fake he took it out of my hands and try to change the subject. I right then knew something was wrong with the vehicle if he doesn't let you test drive it and has a fake inspection paper. He was trying to tell me that I don't know what a BMW is when my family and I are all BMW owners. I told him I will make an offer with the subject that the vehicle is taken to BMW for a full inspection and he said no. I walked out. These are thieves. Don't want anyone to get scammed from here.

I agree, i got ripped off $4000.00 from these pack of thieves, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! I bought a 2006 BMW 330 for $15000, drove it 20kms down the road and the transmission went. i then tried getting my money back and he told me he would only give me back $11000. then the cheque he wrote me bounced! i spoke with the young guy working in car yard and he said there hasnt been one car sold that hasnt returned with issues.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PACK OF THIEVES! DO YOUR RESEARCH AND YOU WILL SEE HOW DODGY THEY ARE!

Your review of platinum auto corp is 100% spot on. "Al" tried saying the tires on the car had 90% and were new because it had the rubber tabs on the sidewall of the tire still, meanwhile the tires were maybe 40-50%. Prior to arrival had asked regarding exterior repair and was told it was in excellent condition shortly after arrival to find very poor bondo work with mismatched paint on the front bumper. After explaining multiple times I by no means was looking for perfect, was told repeatedly to go to a new car dealership to buy new. I was also told multiple times how I was wasting his time and I either wanted the car, or not. So I left without making a purchase, couldn't be happier that I walked.

Other things to watch out for:
When asking if he had reports of any previous work/maintenance he said "when people buy cars they don't give you that as its personal information". He also advised he did not have the inspection report from his mechanic and that all fluids had been replaced when the truth was hey only changed the oil.
