PlanetBuzz.com / Fraud and cheating

1 United States Review updated:
Contact information:

If you're interested in adding your business to PlanetBuzz, be prepared to get the heavy handed upsell later on - the owners of this business have famously ripped off countless individuals and business owners in the past, looking for the next way to make a quick buck.

I did some research after signing up (a friend had talked me into it), and found out a lot about the shady history of the main perpetrators.

While that's up to you to sort through, I just want to warn you before you fall for this scam of an 'advertising opportunity' - just look at the obvious:

- Their site has no contact info.
- There is no privacy policy posted.
- There is no FAQ.
- They ask for your phone number on the home page, no info given to you.

I'm sure eventually they'll get just barely smart enough to add these things, obviously that'll be the case when they get better about perpetrating this particular scam.

Save some time and money, stay away!

Yep... this is exactly what I encountered and found out too. Planet Buzz, PlanetBuzz.com, AKA VideoTell is not a trustworthy company, and offers a products that is not worth anything. Don't buy, and don't sell your friends on them... you will regret it. They claim to offer powerful social media to connect you and your customers, and help spread the word, except no one uses the website. Have you? Exactly.

Planet Buzz Business Directory Internet Marketing is not worth your time or money.

LOVE THE SITE! Thanks Planetbuzz for helping move my business into the social media world. Whoever posts anything negative is ill-informed. Check the site out, and judge for yourself. My company is highly impressed!

The complaint doesn't actually say anything. A heavy handed upsell...That's a joke. What company isn't looking for an upsell?

It says they don't have a privacy policy, contact page, etc. That is something I'm sure they can fix, just doesn't seem like something you would post on ComplaintsBoard.com unless you had other intentions in writing this.

I'm not opposed to legitimate complaints, but state your awful experience...if indeed you had one.
