Pizza Pizza Bad attitude

The pizza rep taking orders has a very bad attitude. He wasn't wearing blue but a beige color Pizza Pizza shirt. He was very rude. Here's the conversation:

Me - "Can I get a panzerrotto?" pointing to panzerrotto like thing on the tray on the counter.

Pizza rep gives me a weird look, shrugs his shoulder and says with a tone, "Whaaat?!"

I looked at the tray with the sign again and noticed it was 'Panzerrotti' and not Panzerrotto.

Me - "Oh sorry, panzerotti"

Pizza rep gives me a look again and says, "How you want it?" (p.s - it's not a typo) The pizza rep is a chinese and they speak cantonese because I can understand the language too.

I said, "what kinds do you have?"

Pizza rep says, "just like pizza, you can have any toppings you want" with a tone (again). The kind of very rude tone you'd generally hear in the chinese grocery stores at Spadina Avenue.

Anyways, I sit around and waited for my order and began to notice his disgusting customer service to other customers as well.

I have visited this place before and will NEVER again go back there. The experience was one of a kind and I think those chinese who run the place thinks it's a chinese restaurant and portrayed a very bad image of Pizza Pizza.

My visit (dated Sept 6th 2009, 10:50 p.m) can be proved on tape because there is a security camera on the wall.

Pizza Pizza Awful Serviece

I was looking at the specials and found one to order. I wanted to know how big a 10 inch pizza size was, so I asked the employee there. She simply responded "It's a 10 inch pizza." That didn't make sense. So I asked again "What's the size of a 10 inch pizza?" The employee simply gave a look with lots of attitude and then reached out to grab the boxes to show the size. I was furious. After that visit, I didn't want to go there again. I also sent a complaint by email to pizza pizza. They called back and asked if the message was a prank of some sort. Then they didn't even do anything about the problem!

A ten inch pizza can be anywhere from 1 mm to 100 feet. But it is never ten inches. Hope this helps.

Pizza Pizza Horrible Pizza store and drivers

So I dont make allot of money, but every so often I like to treat my girlfriend and I to an ordered meal. Tonight (July 8th 2009), we decided to order from Pizza Pizza. It wasnt a complex order, just an extra large 3 topping pizza. I had my oder placed online by 4:43, and I was given a time gaurantee of 40 minutes. At 5:25 the pizza guy gets to my lobby and rings up. i check the time as I buzz him in, and notice i get a free pizza tonight. 2 minutes over the gaurantee is still late pizza. So the driver gets up to my floor, and I open the door for him, and say hello. He grunts at me, and I inform him that he is late, and my pizza is free, but I still tip my drivers, and would be giving him that. His face redened quickly, and the anger was unmistakeable. he began to shout at me in my hallway, so loud that my nieghbors came to see what was gonig on. He was raving that it was not fair, and that he was only a few minutes late. Before i can get a word out, he is on his cell phone to the call center, and he begins to shout at the call center agent, before passing me the phone to speak with the agent. I was asked a few simple questions, like what time he rang up from my lobby, and if the driver was being as rude to me as he was to her. She informed me that the pizza would be free, so I handed the phone back to the driver, and he was told this. He became even more mad, and said to me "your not geting this f*cking pizza" and got into an elevator, and left. Rather anoyed, I made my own call to theirr customer service department, and informed them of what was going on. They assured me that the matter would be resolved quickly, and that I would be sent out a fresh pizza, free of charge. An hour and a half later, at 7pm (give or take a few minutes) We still had not recieved our pizza. I made another call to the customer service center, and they proceded to call the store (pizza pizza number 205, on wellington, ottawa) and then told me that the driver had just left with my new pizza. It took the driver another 45 minutes to get to my appartment, which is realy surprising, because I could walk to the store in about 20 minutes. He hands me my pizza, I thank him, and he replies with a 'yeah whatever' and leaves my building. I set the pizza on the table, get some plates and such, sit down with my girlfriend, and open the box. Inside was the worst looking pizza I have ever seen. A mcdonalds cheeseburger has more cheese than what was on my pizza, and to top it off, the dough was not properly cooked. I tried eating a slice, and could only get about halfway through it. Not only did I discover the dough was not thuroughly cooked, but it was actually cold. Once again I called pizza pizza, and spoke with a customer service agent, and explained to them the state of my pizza. They assured me that they would make sure another one was sent out, promptly. 10 minutes later, I get a phone call from thier main center, in Toronto. The tell me that the store is refusing to send out another pizza for me. Now rather peeved off, I ask what they are gogn to do about it. I tell the agent that it has been about 2 and a half hours since I made my order, and that I still had no pizza I could eat. They told me that there was nothing they could do, because the store was refusing to send out another pizza, and that no credit would be posted to my account, since large items such as a pizza would only be replaced.
Heres the real kick in the pants though. I work hard, and long hours. All day the only thing I have eaten, was some toast and PB for breakfast, and a coffee. I dont eat when I work, because I find it slows me down. I was feeling fine all day, then had a half slice of the pizza that was sent over. After all the bs was over with, I had no appetite, so after i threw the pizza in the trash, I made my girlfriend some dinner, and settled down to relax. At about midnight, my stomache began to grumble, and not in an hungry way. A few minutes later, I was wretching my guts out, and dry heaving, since there was nothing but a half slice in my stomache. Shortly after that was over, I had to rush back to the bathroom, this time, for the other end. My girlfriend is a registered nurse, and told me that she was 90% sure I had food poisoning. She said the only way to be 100% sure is for me to go into a clinic in the morning for a test.
Overall, an extreemly bad experience with a company that I have been using for more than 10 years, and a case of food poisoning to go with it. Try to avoid this store if at all possible.

Dear Sir or Madam

Today I had come to your Pizza Pizza location on 545 Steeles Ave, infront of Sheridan College. As usual, four of my friends as I ordered 1 large pizza for (8.99) and 2 creamy garlic dipping sauces (0.69/pack.) I specifically mentioned to the attendant (Veltza) that we would like a 'Thick Crust' because we like our pizza like that. She took our order we payed her the $11.72 and proceeded to wait outside the location until our Pizza was ready in twenty minutes. As soon as our pizza was ready we came into the store and collected the our order, when we proceeded to open the box we realized that the information about the 'thick crust' had not been communicated by the order taker to the baker (Carlos) and he instead made a 'thin crust' and as one of my friends went to pick up one of the slices the contents of the slice fell into the pizza box and the pizza was cold and stale and not to mention the dough was uncooked. I politely told the attendant that this was not my order and she shouted "You did not say, thick crust!" I said "Yes, mam I did and I would prefer you change my order and make my pizza correctly, after all I have paid you.", she went on to say "Its you word against mine, so go and take a seat and I will have this changed." So I went and sat down. A minute or two later and man, Sam I believe was his name (A Sikh male, with a British accent) came and yelled, "Whose Pizza Is this!?", we said it was ours and he shouts "Whats wrong with it?" I said "It isn't my order, I specifically asked for a thick crust and that is not it." He turned over to the baker, who was in the back but his voice was resonating to the front, and shouted "They, wanted a thick crust." and the baker said, "Oh, I thought the wanted a thin crust." Sam then turned to Veltza and she said, "They did not say anything, and they always complain." Mind you we have never complained at this location before and we have been coming here four out of five of our school days since our semester started. "He, then said, Im not making you a new pizza." We were puzzled, because we were sitting there for ten minutes under the impression that our pizza was being made. He shouted "The pizza is here eat it, if you want." We paid for a service we expected it, we weren't animals that he was putting food out to. He was soo rude and inconsiderate and had no customer relation skills whatsoever and I told him this. He then said "Its your word again two people here (Carlos and Veltaza)" and I said "Well there is the four of us here and you only have the one person (and made a one sign with my INDEX finger) do not include the baker because he does not hear the orders he is in the back." He then began to wave his index finger at me and I asked "What are you doing?" and he says "Well, im going to talk to you as your are speaking to me." I said "What are you talking about I just told you that there is one person there?!" He said "Well, whatever", we then said "just give us our money back and we will leave" At first he was hesitant to, so now he has the pizza and the money and is not correcting anything. He finally shouted "Give me the receipt, " I said "I dont have it, " because I didn't one of my other friends did and then when we finally gave it to him he says, "Just like you didn't have the receipt, you mentioned the thick crust right?" accusing us of being liars. "We finally were fed up vowed never to go there again and made our way out the door. As we were leaving this rude, rude man say "BY THE WAY, YOU HAVE A VERY BEAUTIFUL FINGER THERE YOUR SHOULD USE IT MORE OFTEN." accompanied by a sly sort of smile. At this point we were soo upset and disgusted that we just left, I had every intention of turining around and slapping the bloke, but this would just accelerate the situation. I called head office and told them what happened and also reported it to the police titling it as harassment of the sexual nature, defamation of charecter infront of the other customers, employees and my friends and also degrading someone. The officer said the man was a '[censored]' and that if other complaint arose, he would take action. I just thought that you should be aware of this and I would like you to take immediate action. I have enclose my telephone number to be contacted with the procedure of the handling of the complaint as well as a written apology from the man involved. I have also taken this up with members of the Sheridan College Faculty, who found this mans behaviour to be unappropriate and vow never to eat there again and students are also boycotting Pizza Pizza. In addition to this tommorrow I have arranged a meeting with Student Union to discuss this issue and because it is summer hours the Pizza Pizza within Sheridan is closed. One of my teachers has also mentioned that I can post flyers around Sheridan College informing people of the incident and not to shop there again. I am sorry for taking up so much of your time, but I couldn't sit still on this matter and let it pass. Thanks so much for your time. Take Care

Pizza Pizza Did Not Get 2 for 1 Movie Admission Tickets

Both my Mom and I went to Pizza Pizza today at 3:01 p.m. to get the special which is advertised in the flyer until April 30, 2009 and received 2 for 1 Movie Admission at Cineplex and we are both disabled and drove that far and was very unhappy about them not having these Movie Admission. This is just a come-on as far as I am concerned to get people to come in there. We thought we would get our Movie Admission at Cineplex at Pizza Pizza and were quite disappointed when we did not receive them.
Sincerely,

Demanding our Movie Admission 2 for 1 for Cineplex or send us a free voucher for a large pizza with 3 toppings for free. Pizza Pizza should not falsely advertise when they know they are not going to have them when you do come in.

Very irate and upset customer!

Update by Aileen Campbell

I do believe that Pizza Pizza should give us both Movie Admissions for Cineplex as it has not expired until April 30, 2009. There is no excuse for defrauding the customers just to get them to buy your Pizza. I could not recommend Pizza Pizza to any of my friends ever due to what has happened to us today. This is nothing but a come-on!

Reading only has 1 n. My user name is Phiit29. I also think you meant to say "Phiit29's comment is as stupid as she is.

Now, the promo ended on the 30th and the it said while supplies last. So if there is no more coupons at that location, it's probably because they ran out. Isn't that how they work?

Say hi to your mommy as she tucks you in tonight Jason

I agree fully with blackdeathrising.
The promotion ended on the 30th of April.
And it absolutely was "while supplies last".
Pizza Pizza obviously isn't going to have any of those coupons left on the last day of the promotion.
And it's a fantastic one. We had tons of coupons. We order pizza maybe a little too often...

People like you should be culled and rendered sterile so that stupidity no longer exists in our world. We'd do a lot better without it.

You people obviously can't read. Maybe if you saw the ad, it states while supplies last. I had twice entered this promotion and both times received coupons, which btw expired on April 30th. People like you are pathetic in that you cannot fully grasp the concept of promotions and expect the world to cater to your stupid ###.
