foreign object on pizza
We ordered carry out on this Pizza Hut store and after we got home and had a bite of the slice, there was a disgusting piece of something that was as hard as a rock. We ordered the any pizza any amount of toppings and any crust for 10.00 and we had to pay 12.00 because we ordered extra sauce and cheese the only time according to the ad is if you order cheese stuffed crust there is an extra charge but we did not order that and I questioned why we were being charged 12.00 the employee stated we had to pay for extra cheese it seems to me that any toppings as many as we wanted would include cheese as a topping. This happened to us twice now and it will be Domminos now for awhile until we get an answer from Pizza Hut.

placed order at 9:07pm Sept.8, 2011. Mgr Carlos, had poor phone skills complained of lost food ticket (mine) called back to check on status of order, was told a discount would be applied to my order when it arrived. Called back 3 times to check on order. Last phone call the store just closed. My order was never delivered, and Carlos simply hung up on me. Tis location is 4 miles from my home, I had guests over to watch football. Very imbarrased, and will NEVER call Pizza Hut again.
I need a job, and posess finer phone skills, and customer service skills than Mr. Carlos.

horrible food, rude staff
Just ordered a deal online from Pizza Hut in Cranbrook Road, Ilford - Small pizza, garlic bread and side salad.
The side salad was missing when the driver handed me the boxes. When I mentioned this to him, he said 'I forgot' and got back on his bike and drove off. The pizza tasted like stale bread.
I telephoned the pizza hut to tell them and I was asked to come to the store to collect the salad where I would get a free drink as well. When I got there, I was left waiting for 20 minutes before somebody came to the till. I eventually got my salad (no free drink) handed to me.
Last time I get anything from Pizza hut.

went to pizza hut in stratford east london with my granddaughter and my son and his friend. it was about 14.00. lined up waited for a table bearing in their was no other customers waiting to be seated, after 25mins we had to find our own table and clear it befoue we could sit down. i then wait another 25minutes to be served, i spoke to the manger, who by the way was not in the least intreasred in what i had to say. in the end i walked out, hence no lunch. i can't believe that the pizza hut is right on top of stratford were the most important games are being held and they can't sort out their staffing issues its such bad service, i would never go their again
size of pasta
I ordered a family sized pasta and when they brought it out, it was two little pans. I said thats not what i ordered and Dave argued it was the same amount, I told him I disagree. He then argued with me when i stated i didn't want it. I told him I was the customer and the customer is always right, he then argued no they are not. This all took place at the pizza hut on St rd 15. in front of my 14 year old son. I as a customer was not pleased with the way things happened. If it wasn't for your customers, pizza hut wouldnt have any business. I left without paying, but more then money was lost tonight. My business with St rd 15 pizza hut will be hard to bring myself to go back there. The one in the plaza has great management and i think if I go back to pizza hut it will be there. Daniel handled things right and I would like to say Thank You to him for his patience. Dave shouldnt be working around people especially as a manager or whatever he is, if not knowing how to deal with situations. So overall right or wrong, i wasn't pleased with the amount of food and me being the customer, i think dave owes me and my son an apology, and if a customer thinks its wrong, and i did because i go there alot, i think he respond should of been different, like better attitude, better manners, and most of all better service. Thanks for your time.

in this case, if the customer is always right, you negated that fact because the customer is wrong in this situation.
as a former manager of a pizza hut, they weigh out the pasta and sauces for the pasta. just because they ran out of the larger pans and used two small pans, you got the correct amount. they have a digital scale they use to weigh it all out to ensure that everyone gets the same, correct amount.
Maybe he was doing you a favor by NOT giving you the full amount. Sounds like you don't need the extra calories.

unauthorized charge
I used a credit card to pay for my food purchase. When I got my statement from the credit card company, I saw that a charge in excess of my purchase price had been submitted by Pizza Hut. The Pizza Hut manager said he would check into it and call me back but he never did. I had my receipt and the credit card statement, and the error (or fraudulent entry) was obvious, yet I received no reimbursement, no apology, not even an acknowledgement of a mistake.

Call your bank and dispute the charges. Pizza hut allows a company to use your card to buy a membership without your authorization. It happened to me and my wife. The bank credited the money back to our account, and the company didn't try to fight back since what they are doing is illegal. But don't let this slide! call your bank and dispute ASAP!
$2.50 delivery charge
I just found out that Pizza Hut charges $2.50 delivery charge and it doesn't even go to the driver. So, While you are thinking that you tipped the driver in the $2.50 charge, you, in fact, have not paid any tip for the delivery. Where does that money go? When i spoke to Melonie the manager on duty, she claimed that she didn't know where the money went - and that it has been an issue within Pizza hut for awhile now.
Until that $2.50 charge is either removed or given to the drivers...i will NOT order from there again. End of story. They are ripping off their own employees - so where does that leave us? Up the creek paying a double delivery charge...
I ordered a two pizzas for ten dollars and a family breadsticks without the soda special and they still charged my 5 dollars a piece for just the breadsticks outrageous.
you are totally right, because you run the pizza huts everywhere, and who needs insurance incase your drivers wreck in to someone on the road. I just forgot how smart you really were. Man you did it again, proved that when on the internet anyone can TRY to be funny and a have comebacks. Note the TRY though. Your 7 year old burns are weak like cheap alcohol. Come back when you learn some big boy things, and maybe get a job..?..
Technically none of that goes to the driver. If there were no delivery charges, drivers would still get paid per run. It mostly goes towards insurance pizza hut carries on its drivers for if they get in an accident, but it does help out with the per run pay they recieve. But Papa Johns and every other big delivery place also has a delivery charge. And they actually give their drivers less per run on average
the delivery charge has been around for quite a while. i used to be a manager for a store in michigan for a few years. the drivers get a tiny portion of that amount. if i remember correctly, they get .50 of it. obviously, this isnt enough for those people that think that full amount is to tip the driver.
bad service
I carefully observed the restaurant before the grand opening: the managers are NOT great. I also realized just now that employees are becoming depressed. I also called the Pizza Hut there until some employee (who sounded VERY depressed) picked up the phone, and then I was encountered by a very rude manager who just stopped me before I even tried to finish...

I ordered a Pizza from the restaurant on Northside Drive in Jackson, MS. We ordered 3 large pizzas and 1 order of breadsticks. When the guy brought our order over, he only brought 2 pizzas and the breadsticks. We told the guy, and he told us to call the restaurant because he only had 2. We called and the lady on the phone started yelling at us and basically calling me a liar, saying that 3 people verified that I had gotten 3 pizzas. She then redirected me to the manager, who did basically the same thing: calling me a liar and being rude. After I told him that I wouldn't be ordering anymore since they did not admit they were wrong, he told me that they "didn't want my business, " and hung up.
I am very disappointed in this restaurant. I've never had this sort of experience before.
misleading advertising
I honestly have no idea how to start this, but I would just like to say that I think it's a load of bull that pizza hut advertises any pizza, any size, any crust, any toppings deal for ten dollars. But the stuffed crust is not included in this, you have to pay for extra cheese, and no double toppings. Okay, this is complete and utter bulls***! If you're going to say any to pizza, size, crust, and toppings, don't put in the fine print that it's extra for stuffed crust, extra cheese, and no double toppings. That's ridiculous and a lie! False advertising is against the law. I think something should be done about this because people are having to put out more money than they should have to.
In the picture I have uploaded, if you read the fine print it says you have to pay for stuffed crust, extra cheese, and double toppings. It also says that it ended june 4, 2011, but they have expanded the deal because the commercial just came on a few minutes ago.

credit cards scams are all over the place! never, never, never use your credit card at food establishments! waiters or waitresses will take it to the back and jot down all the info. the next thing you know - you're getting fraudulent charges. be smart!

My partner, daughter and I decided to go out for a nice Fathers Day Dinner last night. We chose Pizza Hut, as none of us had been to the new establishment in town. It's been there for maybe 1-2 years and the place was a hideous dump already! The tables were all dirty, though there seemed to be only one actual table of other customers. We had to wait while a table was cleared. There were food splatters all over the booth we were sitting in. When our cutlery arrived, after our food! it was dirty! So dirty, it looked like the fork had already been used! I asked for a some clean cutlery and the waitress just brought more dirty forks!
Then there was the fly in the iced tea...it was about 2/3's of the way through the drink that the fly was noticed, as was a huge crack in the shoddy plastic cup it was being served in. If anyone knows anything about plastics and food, its that cracks provide places for bacteria to hide. Needless to say, the one who drank from the cup is throwing up and sick to his stomach the next day! Or maybe he is sick because he ate the most of the undercooked chicken wings...the smaller wings were fully cooked, the larger ones were absolutly disgusting! it was like biting into raw meat with a crispy coating.
Our waitress was pretty effecient when prompted to do something. Even our child had to ask her for napkins! She retrieved those dirty forks pretty fast! She also forgot to bring the hot sauce for the undercooked wings and remembered when we decided to stop eating the undercooked wings!
Overall this was the WORST restaurant experience any of the three of us have ever had. How could a newer establishment be so run down and in-effeicent? Wait, it's because Pizza Hut seems to have no sense of good quality customer service and products, and this is a problem across the entire country and seems to be continent-wide, into the States. Why not hire a customer service consultant like myself and gain some customer trust and satisfaction back? Pizza Hut, which at one time was a great place to take a family out to eat, has become a truly pathetic food service provider.

unlawfull discharge
I was an employee of the Pizza Hut mentioned above. Problems started accruing when a management opritunity was promised to me. I worked hard and put all my energy into getting this promotion. I took extra hours even helped out at other stores in the area. Then one day to my disappointment another person got the job. I felt bad about this for some time but continued to do my job and was waiting for another opritunity to arise. So here I am the model hardworking employee with nearly perfect attendance. Well I had some car problems one day I called my boss 4hrs before my shift started to inform her of my problem. I wasn't sure if I would have it fixed in time for my shift so I called out. The next day I was wrote up. I was told I called in after my shift started wich was a LIE. I was also told my performance was bad. I took great offence to this. I did not believe this to be true and felt uncomfortable so I seeked other employment. To my surprise I found other employment quikly. I put in my two weeks notice and wad under the impression things were ok. That week my hours were cut. I had every intention of finishing my two weeks regardless if I was scheduled 20 hrs or 10. So today I went intimately work and was told to sign a form I was told it was just to verify I was leaving my employment with Pizza Hut in 2 weeks. I signed the paper then my manager said I was fired. She marked me off the schedule and asked me to leave. When I asked why she said it was because I submitted my 2 week notice. I feel bullied and decieved. I thought people should know what is going on behind the scenes. There was many other things that went on while I was employed with Pizza Hut stemming from employees using drugs while on the clock to working 9 hr shifts with out a break.
I wasn't sure if it was lawfully or an unlawful discharge. Given I didn't read what I was signing I see your point jim52. I should have been less trusting. I just feel like the manager should have explained what was expected of me to sign instead of putting a piece of paper in front of me and saying I need you to sign this in regards to your notice. I have learned a lesson there. Thanks everyone for the feedback.

I think the only qualification you need for pizza hut management is you have worked for them for 2 weeks. In future ensure you check any documents you are signing and be thankful you have another job.
unlawful firing
I have been recently fired at a Pizza Hut chain in Redmond. Only working one week at the store, I had work through breaks and done everything in my power to maintain the quality of the store. This includes doing work without being told, working past hours to tie up loose ends, befriending the employees as well as the consumers. Upon being fired, I was told that "You did not show the initiative and was not upbeat enough at work." I was also told that "Things were just not working out."
People that post these comments obviouslly has never worked for Pizza Hut. You are over worked no breaks and treated like trash. He was not a brown noser because if he was he would still be there. Sounds like he was taken advantage of and talked about behind his back. I am still an employee with pizza hut and I totally agree with him/her. Pizza Hut is full of it.

None of Us can properly conclude what happened here since we are only hearing one side of the story, kinda like there could be a car accident & 5 people could be a witness to it & everybody will see something different, Since none of us were there at the time who really knows what happened? This person says they were a great employee but were they really? maybe they were late for work everyday, they may have been rude to the customers, took very long unscheduled breaks Or, maybe broke so many dishes they cost the company more money than they were worth to have them there.Many yrs.ago I had an employee that I hired & that I scheduled to work Not once did this woman show up Or, work however, she did show up & demand a paycheck for all that work she never showed up to do.
Is it just me Or, does there seem to be some details missing from this story? Always wonder when theres only one-side of the story being told.
Were you working full time there? Can you file for unemployment?
An employer can let you go for whatever reason they want unless you have a contract.
pizza hut, satwa, dubai - poor service

I went down to Pizza Hut in Satwa (Jafiliya) in Dubai last Friday with my friends, where I place my order and got the food after about an hour, not just me but other surround families, one Indian family just walked away…… anyway, 1st thing was they literally try to avoid/ignore you, when asked for cleaning table it was done after several calls, and still the table surface is sticky, then our first starter / garlic bread came in warm condition (not freshly hot) then drinks, and last the pizza came (but this time I agree that pizza was absolutely fresh and hot) and now the funniest part……… we request the bill, again 15 minutes, so get up and went to the counter and paid the bill, and I request that if you can pack up the left over pizzas (4 sizes) again they didn’t came, so I took the plate to counter and asked would you please pack this for me, and this Arabic guy did it but unfortunately I failed to see a simple smile on his face, as well as other staff’s faces…….. I think maybe these staff are working for free, or maybe they are not happy with their salaries? Then so what? If you are in industry then at least you should behave nicely and if you have any problem talk to your management, and you don’t have to treat your customers like dog (oops!)
So, guys beware when you happen to visit this particular branch of Pizza Hut, however other branch’s service is fine, thanks and enjoy your pizza

I had almost the same situation last night in the same branch in Satwa, i went there with my relatives, a couple who come from UK for honey moon 1st time in Dubai, i was praising about service in Dubai like any thing. 1st of all no body came for order for 15 minutes after calling many time to them 1 Arabic guy came with great attitude, after order the offer package of AED 89, he asked me of which flavor and i replied which you have, he threw menu in front of me and said just check and let me, he was so rode, i was so shy in front of my guests, then he punched wrong order when we went to take salad, he calls from far that we are not entitled about this and we have to pay extra, after arguing they change the order to our desired which we had given originally, they just service pizza but nothing else even drinks, it was so em brassing situation there, when i asked for the manager and meet with him, he did not do anything, just apologizes sir, this guy is like that only, we will service you drinks shortly, they served once we finished our food and ready to go, The Arabic guy who create all this drama was just smiling on us showing he has given us a hard time. All staff working there has no sense and no training at all. I will never go to any pizza hut in my life again.

I am 31 years old and Muslim. In my life I have been really careful to not eat pork due to religious reasons. However on 14.05.2011 I have ordered calzone vegetable online for delivery and we were delivered calzone Ham. Of course I could not know that it was not what I ordered and I had a bite and my vegetarian wife as well. Unfortunately and obviously that was not vegetable calzone as I ordered and it was ham Calzone. Thank you very much for throwing everything I believe out of the door and for being really careless. I still do not believe that I had a bite and I have been being sick since then. I was having really good day until I decided to order a pizza from Pizza Hut (such a brand?) and you basically messed up my whole day and This will be an experience I will never forget but unfortunately not a good one. I do not even know how my wife is feeling after this terrible experience as I cannot even ask as whenever I remember it I feel sick.
It is good or bad reasons, right or wrong reasons me and my wife do not eat pork and I would expect from a restaurant specially if it is a worldwide brand (?) such as yourself to be really careful with orders.
I do not even know how else I can explain without being really rude how disappointing and unacceptable it was. There are about 10% vegetarian population and approx. 20% Muslim and Jewish population who do not eat pork, living in the UK and seeing one of the biggest restaurant chains in the world being really careless about the orders is only unacceptable.

"Pizza Hutt" is the only business I have purchased pizza for years. I purchased pizza for my family today on {7th street} here in (Louisville, KY), I did not feel my order was right. In the pass when I ordered pizza, (garlic butter and a pepper was automatically placed in with my order, it was not this time. I contacted the resturant, to be told that this practice did not excist and hadn't for (7 YEARS). The manager told me the after I had been on hold for serveral min. and disconnected. I was upset at this time for the inconvience and told him , "Thats Bull ###". I asked the manager for his name and he would only give me the name (Justin), he said he did not release his enter name, I qest, to compliants. He said I was cussing him, I was not, I then told him his statement was bogus. He then hung up on me. I, ve been a loyal customer of "Pizza Hutt for year that supasses (7), this is not the treatment I desirve.

in the past, i have worked for and been managment at multiple pizza hut stores longer than you have been ordering from them.(which is kinda sad, yes, i know) the garlic butter and pepper is, nor was ever, a practice that they do. you are probably thinking of papa johns. PH doesnt do it, little ceaesars doenst do it, and i dont think dominoes does either.
so, you seem to be mistaken about them "forgetting" to give you something.
Pizza Hut is always delicious - you're trippin. They weren't trying to sabotage you by making a Ham calzone, I'm sure they had absolutely no idea they messed it up, seeing as how food service workers don't like dealing with ### customers such as yourself. And previous comments are right, don't order food from a place that serves pork if you can't eat it. Stores do not take this into consideration and food is cross contaminated alllll the damn time. I worked at a Johnny Rockets and Muslim people would come in constantly wanting food without beef or pork...it's a HAMBURGER RESTAURANT. EVERYTHING is made of beef or pork.D Don't get me wrong - have your beliefs. And if you are that strong to your convictions then fine, but don't blame the integrity of the company for an honest mistake. Be more careful and understand that the Quick Serve Food Industry is not without flaws.

Pada 12 may 2011 (8.30pm) , saya dan seorang kawan saya telah makan di pizza hut seksyen 7 shah alam. Saya order meal spaghetti meatball bolongnise set. Malangnya, garlic bread stick yang saya dapat sangatlah keras. Bukan 'breadstick' lagi, dah jadi biskut. Very poor food quality. Then, lepas lebih 30 minit menunggu, saya belum lagi dapat spaghetti yang saya order. Saya panggil waiter untuk tanya. Lepas 10 minit lagi menunggu, barulah saya dapat spaghetti saya. Spagetti saya sangat lembik, macam terlebih direbus. Sangat teruk rasanya. Saya terus serik nak makan di pizza hut lagi. So, bagi sesiapa yang bercadang nak makan di pizza hut/nak buat open table kat sana, saya nasihatlah, fikirlah 2-3 kali. Pizza hut malaysia is suck!

Now i'm eating at one of the pizza hut restaurant in kota kinabalu sabah, center point! Very dissapointed with the services provided here. Pizza ready in 17 minutes. Bill time 19:22. I get my pizza at 19:50! When ask one of the staff, this is what he say "i sent wrong pizza to another table. Do you want to this pizza instead?" when i ask the supervisor, "let me check first". Then he never return with an explanation. Service charge? I pay for a poor service?

Recently, I went to pizza hut on the road taiping klang 2. The manager there are arrogant and are not treat me well. at least I'm not going to hold him for being arrogant on I face. The manager also criticized the staff in front of me and for I are not polite. I hope that managers learn to civilized in their clients. I are not think to visit the restaurant again.
