Pixie mama review: the founder/owner of pixie mama rescue.

Barbara Backhaus the owner/founder of Pixie mama rescue is very rude and does not deal w ppl very well. I was fostering pixiemama's pup they received for free from a animal shelter in TX and fell in love w him.I told Barb I would still foster from day one and that i wanted to adopt this pup, and will still of course drive animals to apts etc. She fiercfully said NO I'm coming to get the dog now!Mine and my kids heart shattered This is a rescue no matter what our goal should be it should be finding this pup a great home!My house is large and cozy, clean and passed the inspection already.Also on her website it states YES you can adopt your foster!I was told by Barbara's Volunteeer that's been w her for 5 plus years that yes you can adopt the puppy this has never been a rule! All false info I was given and now our hearts are all broken now that she took the pup from us and will not let us adopt him!Even the humane society and animal control said this is not okay!This pup had nothing and came from a cold damp shelter in Tx and now found a nice forever home w us and she refuses to let us adopt him!Volunteers that work w barb told me she has lost other fosters/volunteers due to her attitude!All we want us to adopt the pup we were fostering like w should be able to and then continue to foster!Please someone help us get Payson the pup back from this rescue!With all these hurricanes and storms happening there is an overflow of dogs/pups etc.This shouldn't be a prob w me adopting this sweet pup we fell in love with! Please help us.
