I have yet to receive merchandise that I ordered in Dec. and paid for already. Very few replies to all my e-mails and then excuses and promises. I'm sorry I didn't check with California Better Business Bureau or this site first as they had an "F" rating. They are acting more like real pirates. DON'T TRUST THEM WITH YOUR MONEY!!!

    I've ordered a few times from them and their sister site Sinister Candy. I've received the merchandise previously though usually months later after I had forgotten I placed the order. I recently placed an order in January for a gift and it has not arrived, they don't respond to emails and as of yet have not refunded my money.

    They were full of excuses and finger pointing and no resolution. I just want my $19.40 back. I've never worked so hard for a stupid 20 bucks in my life.

    I ordered a large pennant from them in August, 2012 and have not received it and it's now November, 2012. I've left several messages by phone and email and heard nothing back. I'm now out $55, and no pennant.

    I made an order, they charged my credit card, but never shipped the merchandise. It's been 3 months and they ignore email and voicemails (no-one ever answers the phone) They have an 'F' rating from the Better Business Bureau with over 40 complains in the last 3 years. DO NOT do business with piratemod.com, or any business associated with Eclectic By Design.

    This is my second order with the company..I should have learned the first time! The first order took over a month to ship..even thought the company is only about 30 miles away!
    This is my second order..I was hoping this company had got their act together! I have now sent a third email to the company questioning what is going on with my order...have yet to recieve a response. I placed the order on Nov 26 it is now Dec 18th..still no reply. My card was charged the same day and that is the last I have heard from the company. I am hesitant to order merch online so I ALWAYS do small trial orders before I commit to large orders. I most likely will be calling my bank to dispute the charge since these were suppopsed to be Christmas gifts but they most likely won't ever be shipped.
    BEYOND SAD THAT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!! THIS COMPANY/PRODUCT LINE HAS GREAT POTENTIAL BUT $#*!TY CUSTOMER SERVICE AND NO FOLLOW THROUGH ON ORDERS IS NO WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS.

    I am amazed that you actually received merchandise. Was it any good? I saw other reviews after I placed my order that indicated that when folks do receive stuff it is really poor quality and not at all what it shown on the site. I never received anything and I have been waiting over 3 months.

    I love the comment about them being pirates! Like you I have never received my merchandise and no refund. I have been waiting over 3 months. I just filed a complaint with the BBB.

    I am out over $100 because I ordered from this company. I love the comment someone else made about them being pirates that steal our money! Like you I have never received my merchandise and no refund. I have been waiting over 3 months. I just filed a complaint with the BBB.

    My first order with them years ago was awesome. Loved the shirts! Still wearing two of them 10 years later. Sadly, my second order never came. I sent several emails, never heard back. Finally contacted them as a "new customer" to get a response... they did respond, so I resumed my requests to get my shirt that was at this point months over due. Never heard from them again. I see they have revamped their website - maybe I'll try again...
