It has been over ten weeks and I have heard nothing about the $80 refund offered at time of purchase for installing my GE Profile dishwasher.

I received the $300.00 for buying four appliances.

I mailed both rebates to the two addresses that were given to me from the place I purchased the appliances and am now being told nothing can be done.

I did what I was supposed to do. How they just

drop me like that? I hate mail in rebates because you can't ever count that you get what was promised you.

I called the 800 number from the form I submitted and they told me they don't know what I am talking about.

I am outraged and will never buy GE products again. Ever!

    When we purchased two GE appliances dishwasher and refrigerator, the salesman "checked inventory in the warehouse and the products were in stock". Unfortunately we received Demo floor products. the refridgerator was DOA on arrival, the store set out a repair person to "reset the demo mode". 24 hours later the refigerator was running, but not cold. a new refigerator was delivered after spoiling more then $100 worth of food.
    The dishwasher had the "bent tine" we saw in the demo on the store floor. It has never was washed up to temperture unless we "boost the wash temperature". GE service has now been called to repair the unit
    POINT being. if you are being sold demo floor models, a customer should be told. Then they can choose to buy "as is" or brand new from inventory,
