As a current student of pima I am writting this because I dont believe in bullying students. There is a teacher at the aurora campus that continues to nit pick the student or students everyday for no good reason. This teacher her name is Ms. Vatina. she has many years in the medical field and does know her stuff however, she is very disrespectful to the students. We are students, we pay to come to this school, we pay your salary so if there were no students then no school. Pima needs to rethink some policies and rethink about who they hire to teach people. We are not kids and dont need to ask to go to the bathroom. Why go to this school if you get bullied by the teacher for asking a question. The teachers are not their to like you, and they dont have to but their does need to be professionalism established reguardless of your feelings for another student, faculty member, or co - worker. Completley unacceptable behavior. The specific studwnt will not report this either I dont believe they are lying because I have witnessed it first hand. I think that pima is missing the bottom line in running a businees and need to rethink their standards.
I am a current student at Pima Medical Institute in aurora and I have personally felt mentally abused from Ms. Vatina. I relate to your experience with her as well I am a straight A student and have always respected my elders. When I went to Ms. V's class I asked a lot of questions and was constantly embarrassed in front of my entire class for what I asked. When I first came here they said teachers get paid to answer your questions and no question is a dumb one. I have never disrespected her in any way, and noticed that she had started to give me bad grades on everything I turned in, and what she didn't know was that my peers and I have reviewed all our answers to the problems together; which all of us had the same exact answers. When we would get our homework back I noticed they all got 100% and 98% while I always received 70%-85% and our answers were the exact same. Finally near the end of the class that I had with her I had confronted her about my grades and she took all my peers homework and gave them the same grade as I had! that is completely her fault and she should have just gave it to us if it was a mistake. I went to CCD college for 2 years and never in my life have met a teacher so abusive and using there authority for wrongful reasons. Near the end of class I had talked to Tammy, because I could not handle it anymore. Tammy had my work revised and changed my grade so that I would pass the class. Since then I have never received an apology or anything for the mistreatment that I experienced.
And damn you google for misspelling almost everything that I put in my comment I'm talking about a person in the office a person in the career services and bottomline Ms Vatina is all good lol
Okay I just came across this and let me say I myself have a problem with the exact same campus but it's about some real shi T not somebody bullying that you want to call it I have a problem with two other women when the office when the Career Services I will leave their names out the misfit tina was not an issue she's not playing you she's trying to push you and if you can't see that then maybe you should step out of there and grow a pair because you can't hang miss patina was not and its jus me and her don't have a personal bond a relationship and I'm just keeping it real she is not bow and you also get out of here with that
Check this out I have a problem with the exact same campus but its not with her miss vatina is not a bully trust me I've been there done that I'm not just saying that because I like her and I'm saying that from my experience she's not bullying you she's trying to push you and if you can't see that then maybe you need to grow a pair a balls and step out and find something else to do and I have a problem with Tony and career services and Tammy those two can kick rocks and needs to watch themselves but miss patina she's all good nothing bad to say about her so get out of here with all that ..Christine thy blue haired biotch!
First off... You need to spend a LOT more time in school since I see MANY errors in the English language that you are attempting to use in this complaint.
Next, you might look at this as you are paying her salary BUT that is a misconception. What you are paying for is the education. You are NOT a customer in a retail setting. Using your flawed logic, if you get even 1 cent in tuition assistance then it is her taxes that are paying you to go to school. In addition, her taxes are also paying for the roads you ride on to get to school so it is thanks to her that you can even get to the school.
WRONG, WRONG, WRONG... She is paid to teach you and you have no say on how she does that.
