PetSmart moorestown new jersey store

I shopped at the Moorestown NJ PetSmart for my dogs food for a long time. Recently, i'd say 5 to 6 months now I noticed a huge difference in the store and its worse than ever. There used to be alot more employees that cared. There were managers that listened and cared. I go in there now and the stores dark, no employees around, no customers shopping. They must of gotten new management and gotten rid of all of the managers that cared about my pet. The managers that they have in there now, dont care, rude and they dont know anything. I miss the old workers and managers there. Corporate must want that store to fail or fold. I plan on going to PetCo in Cherry Hill.
Shame that has happened to a nice store and former employees. The new management sucks.

I overheard management talk poorly about customers and their pets which is rude because I was a customer. I thought I heard them use foul racial language regarding a customer but, not too certain. Who hired these managers and store managers anyways? Corporate must not care to hire these people and leave them in charge of stores.

As a former manager from the Moorestown store I lost my job due to the new store manager they put in place in September 2017. I loved what I did and miss it dearly.
He took away my job and livelihood. Can't blame corporate for one bad apple. Shame.

As a former part-time employee at the Moorestown NJ PetSmart on Nixon Drive I have to agree and there's a reason. I overheard the Store Manager L'erin and Assistant Store Manager Amanda talking about who they want to see gone as far as employees and managers forcing them to quit or walking out. Apparently, it wasn't due to their work performance or work ethic, it was due to personal reasons. When I heard that I found a new job right away. Awful managers there.

PetSmart mystery snail/customer service

Yesterday 2/11/18 I went to my local Petsmart to buy myself a mystery snail. When I made my decision on which one I wanted I asked the team member Alex that was working in fish at the time to help me get the snail. When I showed him which one I wanted he stuck his hand in the tank grabbed the snail and tossed it into the plastic container and put it in a bag. I brought the snail home and all day it never came out of it's shell and the next morning it was dead. I am very mad of how my snail was treated and was most likely killed right in front of my eyes.

PetSmart management

February 11/2018 Complaint

My name is Gordon and I am writing in regards to my visit at 5pm today to the Petsmart located on 2860 Bentall Street, Vancouver BC Canada V5M 4H4. I asked the young service rep girl in the fish area (I did not get her name) for the expired large sized earth worms that were contained in the blue tubs. As I was asking the service rep the security guard interrupted me and said in a playful manner - oh, I can help you! That confused me as the service rep in the blue uniform and the security guard in black was standing in front of me offering help in a playful non professional way. Anyways, previous times in the past, other service reps had told me about the expired tubs of large earthworms and that they were marked down 50% and so I always asked for those ones. The service rep today was not understanding what I was asking for but I had told her to that I forget what they are called but other reps in the past would go to the back of the store to get them. After showing me a few incorrect tubs, she had began showing a bad attitude because she had to go find the right product. She finally showed me the correct product and I asked are these the marked down/expired ones? She was not sure and went back to locate the correct tub. She had come back with 2 different smaller tubs and told me these ones are past dated with a December 2017 date marked on the tub. She then began to mark down on the tub with a red marker but I had stopped her to show me the product inside the tub. With an attitude she opened a tub and showed me the worms by holding one up towards my face and in my personal space. Although it agitated me I did not react to that. They were also the wrong ones. She grabbed tubs of much smaller worms which I was not looking for. She went back and grabbed me the right tub and then told me these were dated February 9/18. This time around, with a VERY bad attitude said in a very condescending voice these are called nightcrawlers and you need to remember the name. She made an effort to belittle me with her statement. At this point, I became upset with her poor execution of words and said Ok right, and now you are telling me how to do YOUR job? She gave me the excuse of saying I've only been working here for 2 months. I said afterwords, anyways these are dated Feb9/18, today is Feb11/18 so I assume these are the expired ones. Once again she is not sure and said you can talk to my manager. I said ok and she walked away to get him.

She explains to him what I was looking for while I was finishing my conversation on my cell phone and right after he looks at me with a disapproving gesture in his face and shaking his head, Im not just going to give you 50% off just because you said so. Not only did he not understand the situation he made me feel like I'm at fault in this situation. At no point in my conversation with her did I ask her to mark down the price. I asked specifically for the already 50% marked off & expired product that they sell. I felt that she had twisted the situation in her favour and made me look like I'm trying to pull a fast one to get a deal. I got upset and said what are you talking about? I asked him what is with this poor costumer service? Ive been shopping at this store for many years and why am I getting interrogated by you? Instead of trying to hear me out he puts his right hand up and blocks my face while I'm speaking. The security guard was present while we were speaking and orders the guard to kick me out of the store and says I'm no longer allowed back ever again. I walked with the guard outside and the manager decides follow and belittle me by laughing and saying out loud ha ha you're mad over worms ha ha. I exchanged cursive words with him right after for mocking me and he steps up to my face, in my personal space as a matter of fact. He points his finger at me and said you think I'm scared of you? HAHA I'm not scared of you, come on buddy. The manager tried to pick a fist fight with me as he puffs up his chest and stands in my personal space. I cursed him back and told him he is the worst manager ever. He continues to insult me as I walk away.

I get back into my car and drove by the front of the store. I stop at the storefront and waved the guard over. I explained to the guard that despite what had just happened that I have no animosity towards the guard and the store as I always shop here. I told him that the manager has no idea what he is doing nor did he even understand the situation. The guard understood the situation and even apologized because he felt at the beginning of my visit the service rep girl and himself were just being playful and was not trying to be out of line earlier. The manager seemed like he was having a bad day already and decided to take it out on me. The manager decides to stand watch by the door and then pulls out his phone and takes a picture of me.

With the security guard as witness, at no point in time did I put my hands up in aggression nor insinuate any type of violence. The managers name is Rob and his actions as an employee need to be addressed indefinitely. I write this letter in confidence that Petsmart will secure my personal information as per privacy regulations.

PetSmart job in darien il

Went for job at petsmart as groomer. Petsmart all they care about is videos I never finish watching. There video its about forklift what do I care about forklift. Were the fork should be when there no load on it. Or how check battery on forklift. Then they ask about pet hotel what do I care. I am a dog groomer. I care about pet in the grooming salon. You need pass all test 100 % on test even for forklift to be dog groomer. Now I can see why dog dying in cage. Or miss treadted. Petsmart need a test just for dog grooming. Not for run forklift. I have no idea and dont care to. Ps the manger pull me for the video do test. So did learn anything no because scott took me off of video.

PetSmart very rude behavior

I placed an order in November 2017, got an email that due to unavailability my order got cancelled. Almost 2 months later, got another email that reads "Thank you for your order" and I see my card charged for that. A week later one more email came in that reads "Thank you for Picking up". I never placed an order nor picked up and went to the store to Inquire what's happening and explained the situation.
The store manager was extremely rude and harsh literally throwing the torn bag with the products in it on the counter saying "Wait till I get the remaining items and I won't take it back if in case you want to return". I asked her who picked up my order I have paid for, she said "I picked up those orders since you didn't show up in a very rude manner". Her behavior was very rude and the way she looked at me was very disappointing.
It's the second bad experience to me with PetSmart in Orange, CT where the first time they sold 1month expired dog wet food cans.
Date of incident 02/04/18.

Hi my name is Tom Bradford I purchased a exotic bird from Pet Smart in Burleson Texas on December 24th, 2017 as a Christmas present to my wife We have a few other birds but she liked the Rose Bird which I believe was a couple hundred of dollars.the price though is not the problem our is an issue in this matter.
The bird mysteriously dies only 30 days after having the bird in my home the professional fish and bird care specialist and cashier Matthew Schemenet in the Burleson, Texas location said because it was from something that i cooked in my home not knowing what or were I live but deciding to give me some kind of made up predetermined statement that I believe is given to them by upper management to say to customers that have complaints on birds or any animals that might die.
The statement being of course deny, deny, deny it is not Pets Smart fault it is something the bird ate or something that was cooked near the bird that caused toxins in the air of the home which the bird was staying. Do they really think we as the public do not understand and know birds Hell I raised birds for 30 years this bird was an infected bird with a virus.
Again Matthew wanted to make it clear they would not be able to do anything for me since it was over the 14 day policy I say REALLY there is a lot I can do about Pain and Suffering and about deception assept of a major pet chain selling infected birds to the public.
If anyone else is having issues like these with Pet Smart lets file a Class Action lawsuit on the practices the corporation is practicing for it is fraud by deception in not explaining the paperwork that is being signed and not making it clear and understandable about the diseases the pet store might have or the disease the pet might bring home to infect your other animals and birds.
Please contact Tom Bradford at tombradfordjr@gmail.com i can get the class action paperwork started and we will see exactly what can be done about the practices that Pet Smart is practicing. it is wrong and deceitful and full of holes. i say at least 10 million at the minimum.

PetSmart grooming

I brought my dog into Petsmart on 2/1 for a bath and nail trimming. She came in happy as can be as usual. Coming home she wasn't herself, I thought maybe she was just exhausted from a long day. The next morning she was having trouble walking, couldn't jump off the couch. We initially thought maybe she hurt her paw or her nail was cut too short. Later in the evening she was completely lethargic and hardly moving that we rushed her to the 24/7 animal hospital. She is now non weight bearing and on pain meds due to an injury to her back and legs. I am honestly devastated over this incident. I don't understand how this could have happened. You would think that the staff would take care and treat your dog how they would want their dog or a member of their own family to be treated. Petsmart is a well known company and I am appalled at the fact that they would employ people who have no compassion.

PetSmart overcharged

I contacted customer service online in regards to a 5 gallon tank I bought in store and was charged 59.99 instead of 19.99. I explained that there is not a store near me what so ever. We were in Asheville for an appt. I was told the only way to get any help with this is to contact the store. I can not go back to the store and there isn't one near me what so ever. You mean to tell me there isn't any way cooperate or someone can make this right?

PetSmart salon manager

I cannot believe a young child has been tasked with running an entire grooming salon.. this seems to be the norm at this petsmart in Medina ohio... the managers seem to cater to their customers.. but unprofessionally are gossiping about other employees, criticizing employees un front of customers.. its extremely uncomfortable.. I will be taking my business to a different petstore.. or see if there is a different location... I do not need to be a pa r y to employee relations when I am there to purchase dog food! Poor staff!

PetSmart items located in the wrong place

I went to PetSmart in Brookfield Wi to get some dog shampoo when I came across a harness for my dog the original price was 27 sale price was 6.97 so I got one went up to the register and it rung up for 16.97 so I told the girl it have a price for 6.97 sovthe girl call her team leader who went to check the price radio the girl and said it's not 6.97 it's 16.97 I said you have 10 of the same harness in the 6.97 price rack... then the cashier said what you want me to do I said I want it for the listed price so the cashier radio the manger again and the manager said it's going to be a minute I'm with someone else I said I will wait so the manager came and said I can't sell you that for that price I told her you have a rack of the same harness for that price she replied and said Customer place them there. Really lady! She had a nasty attitude and very rude maybe because I was black... I am very upset will not shop at that store again

PetSmart grooming

I took my dog ​​for a grooming and they told me it was $ 48. ok no problem. After two hours they call me to pick up the my dog and to let me know that it was more money because they did an extra job, so increase the total to $ 62, I did not ask for anything extra or give permission to do anything extra, why they didn't call me before to ask IF I AGREE? What about if I didn't have the extra money to pay? I wore a hairy bishon frease and they gave me a bald dog, totally hairless! very annoying I had to pay for what I did not ask them to do, I'm so mad, I never bring my dog to that place again

PetSmart death while grooming

This store is an absolutely pathetic excuse for a business and has a terrible track record built within the past couple weeks. Multiple dogs died due to obvious foul play, dogs go to petsmart to get groomed, not murdered, it has been reported that one dog, named ranger, was being groomed in the petsmart in Flemingtion, New Jersey, when the owner was contacted and told that his dog tried to bite a petsmart employee and that he needed to come get his dog. The man did so, then took his dog to the vet right after. The dog was reported to be in extreme pain and was trying to keep weight off of his back legs... This is the most obvious case of foul play in the workplace that i've seen in years. This dog, alongside others, died a couple weeks after the grooming incident. This isn't a coincidence. Please if anyone sees this, try to spread the word, petsmart is a terrible company and they support animal abuse and violence.

PetSmart dog dies while getting groomed

A recent article is out of a woman's dog dying within 45 minutes of being dropped off at the petsmart in flemington, nj for grooming. The woman got a phone call saying there was a medical emergency and her dog was at the vet. When she got to the vet, they informed her the dog was already dead when he was brought in.
Another woman's dog died 2 days after taking her dog to the same place and states her dog was lethargic when she picked him up. No one has answers for these people. I think it is beyond ironic that 2 incidences have occurred within 1 week from each other at the same petsmart in flemington, nj and no one at petsmart is willing to give answers or provide some sort of justice. These animals mean the world to us, please do something to protect our pets and help these families!

PetSmart offensive language and extremely poor customer service

been a petsmart customer for almost 20 years and have had the minimum of customer service and problematic dealings with your organization while meeting the needs of my animals over the years.

Although the company Banfield shares your building premises, I now understand why they consistently make it clear they are in no way associated with your business or questionable business practices.

for example, My latest business transaction consisted of me buying a 50 pack of puppy pads-as always, the clerk had to send someone back to where the pads were to tell me the reduced price was "if I bought a pack bigger than 25?

I paid the extra $3 rather than go a round with a typical clerk at petsmart employee at your Lacey, Washington branch. I put my cat in a cart and took the cart to the inside of the store where the carts are stored. since my carrier was covering what I had purchased earlier in the store, I forgot to grab them.

I called the next day [protected]) and asked about the pads. I was told they didn't have my pads and probably put them back on the shelf since they were still inside the store. I asked if I could come in and pick the pads up. I was met with such offensive tone and language, I asked to speak with the manager. I was very shocked and disappointed when the young man said he was the manager. He indicted he wasn't going to"give me any free product."
I told the manager again I already paid for the pads and would bring my receipt back to validate my claim... the manager went on to explain it was my fault for leaving them in the store and continued to not make sense in his verbal abuse.

Obviously, I will never shop at petsmart again and will be sure to discourage all my pet owner friends to avoid your blatant lack of concern for your customers and their pets. Just thought the management team would want to know why they are losing a lot of business...

PetSmart online order

placed an order this morning for an in store pick up in Hickory, nc. When the order completed it said that I should pick up my order in Tucker, GA. I immediately called the customer service # found online. The first time I called, the lady told me that she couldn't help me, to hand up and call back the same number again. I did... this time the lady that I spoke with said that I would have to call the store in Tucker, Ga. I looked up the number and called the store. The lady at the store was very nice and said she would try to help but wasn't sure what to do. She said she was going to talk to the manager and call me back.in the meantime, I ordered the item again and made sure it was for the correct store in Hickory, Nc. A few minutes later, the lady from the Georgia store called me back and said that she spoke to the manager and was going to cancel the order. This afternoon I checked my bank account and had still been charged twice for the order, not pending, but two processed orders. I called customer service again. This time I explained the situation to the man and he was trying to help. He placed me on hold and called the Georgia store. He came back and told me that they said the order had been picked up. He placed me on hold again to speak with the GM. When he came back he told me that indeed someone had picked up the order and it was now an LP issue. They are going to have to open an investigation before I can get my money back. I don't understand why I am having to wait for a refund when it was their mistake. The first transaction is order #[protected], this is the one that should have been cancelled. The completed order was order # [protected].

PetSmart grooming services

I have been taking my dog to the grooming center here (Richmond, TX - Bella Terra) for 3 years and have never had a problem. On 12/2 I brought my dog in at 7am to be groomed. I NEVER received a phone call that he was done, much less a call that he was "hard to handle.' When I came to pick him up (assuming he was done), I saw there was a"hard to handle" dog fee. When I questioned it, they told me how my dog tried to bite them when he was getting groomed. I had no issue paying that IF someone had called me, explained to me, etc. When I asked to speak to a manager it took (literally) 20 mins for one to be found, located, etc. to come and speak to me. When I told him what happened he rudely grabbed my sheet from me and took off the charge. No apologies, no sorry, no explanation, etc. I am unsure of his name but he is larger with curly longer hair. I went to pay and went home. When I got home, I noticed my dog was acting sad and licking himself. When I turned him over I noticed he was razor burned and cut all on his underside and belly. I have NEVER had these issues before. No wonder he was upset with the groomer. This was a handler error, not a dog error and something needs to be done. The manager was rude, the staff wasn't helpful, and my dog was hurt.

I would like for someone to call me back and for my money to be returned. No one nor pet should be put through this.

PetSmart puerto rico stores

I live in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico and shop St the Mayaguez store #2354. I, and nearly a dozen customers who I encounter in my half hour in the store yesterday, are extremely upset that the store did not have any Friskies nor Great Choice (your own brand) of wet cat food on the shelves. Not one can. When I spoke to the stores Manager about this he said most if not all the stores in the area are experiencing delays in shipments from San Juan. He explained to me that San Juan, Puerto Rico, is prioritizing shipments donated for Hurricane Maria victim's over all other shipments. This store us greatly understocked in all areas as well. I had to wait 3 weeks before I was able to buy cat litter from this store. This same Store Manager (who I cannot say enough good things about) also advised me he did not know when his next delivery would be. I need someone in your offices to address this critical issue. I don't think I need to mention that all of the missed sales this incurs as I am forced to shop somewhere else. I will be ordering from Amazon and other local stores. I am extremely upset about this and on behalf of concerned pet owners and lovers I expect this to be dealt with as soon as possible. Thank you for your immediate attention. Any feedback would be welcomed.

PetSmart animal welfare

At a pet store, you know that the animals are not being treated amazingly but PetSmart is horrendous. Several of the Guinea Pigs had eye problems and were lethargic, the chameleon had a dry cage when the humidity should always be pretty high and the cats were fighting, even drawing blood. If you don't want to support animal abuse never shop at petsmart! There are rescues and breeders for Guinea Pigs, mice and rats in almost every state and you can order animals that have been well cared for at underground reptiles.com or backwaterreptiles.com

PetSmart check out register

I boarded my 2 dogs on Friday, 11/24/17 at Store #0717 in Kentwood, Michigan. The woman at the Petsmart Hotel is wonderful. She knows my 2 dogs and their temperament (I have a 15 year old Boston and an 8 month old rescue) while I haven't been in for over a month. On the way out the door I saw beds on sale for half price. Looked thru the boxes and selected one for my older dog, the puppy destroys anything filled with fiber or a squeaky toy. There were 2 lines open and a group of women together at one checkout lane with no one at the other lane. The store has barricaded going up to the register to have you walk around anticipating a holiday rush. I waited for the group to leave so no one was in line and walked around directly up to the cashier. She told me I had to walk around. I said why? She said she doesn't like someone to cut in line. I said but there's no one in line. She huffed and made nasty sounds, but proceeded to ring up my one item. I was completely checked out before another customer came to check out - still 2 cashiers but only one working. The cashier waiting on me ordered the other cashier to remove one bed in the box I had contemplated buying, saying it wasn't one on sale. She acted as if I had put it there, which I clearly had not. I should have walked out the door without buying the bed. This employee should not be running a cash register as she has no idea what customer service means.

Don't be an [censor]. Get over yourself. Just because someone wasn't [censor]ing peachy to you for 15 minutes of your life doesn't mean you need to get your panties in a knot. You probably did cut in line without realizing it and probably put something back in the wrong place too which can be a hassle when there is so much cleaning up to do around a retail store. Grow the [censor] up. Quit being so egocentric. Try to be more understanding of tired, overworked employees. Take some goddamn responsibility because you probably had an attitude too. It's people like you that make retail a living hell. [censor] off.

PetSmart available stock advertised for black friday

Today, 11/24/17, I went out at 5:30 am in 25 degree weather to wait outside at the PetSmart in Harrisburg, PA. I was 4th in line and prepared with where I needed to go to purchase bags of the BOGO Grain Free Authority cat food that my cat can eat as she's allergic to both grains and chicken. Since Authority offers a turkey and a salmon version, I was ready to buy those and stock up.

Being 4th in line, when the doors opened, I went directly to the Authority section for cat food, and was the first there. Out of the Grain Free versions, the only products in stock were one turkey, one chicken, and two salmon in the BOGO size. That's it. No more. I stood outside in the freezing cold for two bags of cat food. All the other Authority cat food bags were fully stocked, yet the Grain Free looked was a gaping hole.

I located Don, apparently the cat food specialist, who told me that because of the limited stock that the price would be honored later and that I could come back with a rain check that the cashier would give me. At the cash register I explained to the cashier what Don had told me and she said that there were no rain checks on Black Friday, that the stock they had was it. She even went so far to compare cat food to televisions in stock at Wal-Mart. Once they were out, they were out. The problem here is I was the first person at the shelves. The people in front of me went for dog food, Tidy Cat litter, etc. Nobody else was around me grabbing this food. So two bags of this specific food was all this store had available.

What really made the trip worse was having the cashier tell me that I could use my Pet Perks online because this was the only reason I came into the store. I didn't see anywhere online that this was obvious and still can't find it. Doesn't matter because everything was sold out by the time I got home.

I would like to purchase more bags of the BOGO Grain Free Authority cat food as advertised for Black Friday or receive a credit/coupon in kind. My intention was to buy at least six bags. With four cats, one with allergies, I spend a lot of money at PetSmart, not to mention my dog for whom I buy food and treats there as well. This was a frustrating and upsetting event. No more than two bags available to purchase, a supervisor who lied about rain checks, a cashier who compared televisions to bags of cat food, and nothing left online by the time I attempted to buy more (who cared at this point if Pet Perks could be used).

PetSmart exit bath

I have brought my dog called Momo to petsmart in Diamond Bar California for boarding from November 19th to November 22nd in the year 2017. Momo is a 12 years old pug. When I check Momo in, I have instructed petsmart's staff that I'll pick Momo up in the evening on November 22nd and I expect that Momo will have his exit bath done and is ready for my pickup. When show up at 6:30am on November 22nd to pick up Momo, I found out that Momo's fur is still wet. Obviously they didn't do a good job in giving my dog the exit bath. They have totally forgot my instructions and they dare to charge me $13 for the exit bath. This is not the first time it happens. I am really disappointed at petsmart service.
