We had a very bad experience with PetPackers transporting our kittens to their new family on January 28th and 29th, 2018! We no longer ship our kittens by cargo for various reasons, so when a repeat client of ours in Massachusetts bought two more kittens from us this year and they weren't able to travel to Michigan to get their kittens I mentioned that I saw this service online and I was willing to give it a try.

On the website, they have prices clearly posted and when I called to confirm, Kennedy told me the price would be $475. However, when the pet owners called to book the arrangement, the service was increased to $700 unless they were willing to wait for at least two more weeks for when the cost of flights would decrease! They weren't willing to wait, so they booked the arrangement with a deposit for January 28th and we both signed contracts. The time was set for 2:15pm on January 28th and if either one of us were late, a fine would be imposed. I made sure book a rental car and leave my home with plenty of time to be sure I was on time to meet with the 'nanny.' The company did not give me a full name of the person I was to meet and they said by text that it could be one of two people. Half way between leaving my home and arriving at the airport at 12:41, I received a text message from a Taylor that her plane was delayed and she would meet me at 3:15 instead. So I had to find extra time around the airport to kill because of this delay. I arrived at 3pm and gave her a text message that I was waiting for her. I got no reply, so by 3:10pm, I gave her and call and she answered saying she was still on the plane and would arrive shortly.

By about 3:25, she finally arrived. Taylor refused to show any picture ID or give me her last name and she refused to let me take a photo of her. However, I still managed to get one of her by 'accident.' I was very uncomfortable about passing my kittens over to this complete stranger who was acting like this! Taylor told me her flight was to leave in about forty minutes and I didn't want her to miss her flight so I didn't keep her long. I asked her to send me a text message once she arrived on the plane to assure me that she made it and the flight was on time. However, she failed to keep her promise!

When I arrived home over an hour and a half later, Taylor called to tell me the flight to Massachusetts was delayed for 45 minutes and she didn't want to get on the flight because it would cause her to be too late to catch her own connecting flight back to her home base. She exaggerated the delay as it was just 35 minutes delayed! Apparently the company didn't leave proper amount of time in their scheduling to prepare for normal slight delays!

I was asked to come back to the airport to get the kittens and deliver them back to the airport in the morning! I had many chores to do back home taking care of my cats and she didn't care how inconvenient this was for me to drive there and back. The airport is 40 miles from my home, so this would have added another 160 miles worth of driving and over five more hours to the time and drive I had already made! She said she would have to keep the kittens with her overnight then! I have no idea where she took them. The new owners were upset and so was I! I and the new owners were both worried and disgusted that she refused to make the flight to her destination on account of a such a short delay. The company couldn't have cared less about how inconvenient this was on all of or and the stress they were putting on our kittens unnecessarily.

Taylor said she would take a photo of the kittens with their new owners once she arrived and send them to me and she never did! We will never used this service or any such service again! This was a horrible experience for me, my kittens especially and the new owners! The owner of the company is Kennedy and was not friendly at all when I spoke with her on the phone. We are done passing our kittens over to third party services on account of this stressful and unprofessional service. I never received a message thanking me for my business or an apology! Avoid this company if you want to sleep at night! This company only uses a Post office address, so it is not a brick and mortar. Good luck trying to track them down if they disappear with your pets! There is no physical location listed!

You obviously can't read because I used the company and got a quote by text then I replied to the text that I wanted the nanny. They sent me and my breeder an agreement but it said only one person is responsible for payment and either party shipper or receiver can pay for the transport.
Maybe you were too anxious for your puppy to read the way they operate.

My mom always said Reading is fundamental.

PetPackers is such as loser company. Everything is done via text or email and even if you request to speak to someone, they never pick up the damn phone.

She gave me a quote, but not for the correct airport (honest mistake). Then she gave me a second quote with the correct airport at a higher cost than the first, but when they wrote the contract, they use the wrong airport, AND they increased the base rate cost compared to the original quote they gave me. When I tried to contact her to ask her to correct the contract with the correct destination and price, I never heard back from her. I also told her, I did not want both the sender and receiver to be on the hook for the same price (which they could legally do since both people agree to pay the same price).

You never get to speak to the human, Kennedy. You can call, email and text and request to confirm dates, but you will never get a call. Instead she sends you are contract, tells you both the sender and receiver have to sign it, and list the cost due in both contracts, which legally can allow them to charge you TWICE - once for each person. This then leads to never hearing back from them again when you ask for the contract to be corrected to only show one cost to be paid by one person.

When you have a puppy waiting, you want good dependable service, a response, and to get it scheduled on the airline with as little hassle and stress as possible. After dealing with this company (my second...the first will be mentioned here shortly), I can tell you it has been such a stressful event, and one of the worst I ever experienced.

I ended up purchasing my own ticket and flying out to get my puppy, saving hundreds of dollars and saving my mind. Buyer beware! Don't pay double the cost by having both parties sign.
