Hi Guys, STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHOP! The guy who runs this so called pet loving retail outlet is a vile man named ADNAN... I purchased a puppy from him when he ran a shop called WAHAT AL REEM which has now subsequently been shut down due to utter negligence towards these poor animals, further more WAHAT AL REEM was solely responsible for the massive increase of the PARVO-VIRUS within Dubai. ADNAN imports the puppies from Hungary at a month old claiming they have had all jabs and vaccinations and that they are 3 months old...LIES! Each puppy has PARVO and is also accompanied by a fake passport...nice touch. We took our dog to the vets where he spent a week on life support and was told there is an 80% chance he would not make as he is so young and the immune system is in no condition fight this type of virus. Thankfully after a week of not knowing, worrying, anger and 9, 000 AED in vet bills later our little man pulled through against the odds and lives out his days not knowing what could have been. Please Please Please if you come across this and are thinking of buying a puppy go elsewhere ( pets plus are better ) This man does not care for animals, he does not care about their health all he cares about is your money and trying to sell you a dog that is knocking on deaths door before it even reaches Dubai. ADNAN IS A DISGUSTING EXCUSE FOR A HUMAN BEING AND SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO GO NEAR ANIMALS FOR THE REST OF HIS SAD PATHETIC UN-CARING LIFE. i disagree with all the complaints againt this pet shop since i have bought my dog from them and also all my friends bought their dogs from pet ho licks they have always given us a warranty of one month on paper against all deadly virus and also a free vet check up if requested,
i met the owner mr wasal once my self he was very helpful and made sure to give me a very good price and after sales service also though i live in arabian ranches i always go back to them for grooming and to buy my dog food as i like their service that they provide to me and so do all my frineds,
i would highly recommand everyone as me and all my frineds have had no issues with them so far!
Hi I have put down a deposit on a puppy from them before i saw this post what can i do ?
I agree with the review - pets are kept in mixed enclosures and quite a few are well below the age stated, judging by size and teeth. The warranty offered is a joke and you would he very lucky to get anything back. My girlfriends dog twas also infected by parvo is currently spending a third night in intensive care.
If anyone else has had a similar expereience then for the sake of the dogs and future owners who will be heartbroken I strongly ask that you file complaints to Dubai municipality.
The owner of the shop is never there so not sure what the point of defending who legally owns the business and those that work there are simply employees. Adnan was likely fired, but the current "manager" seems just as bad.
Petholicks is not owned by any person called Adnan and this is a big misunderstanding, Petholicks is owned by mr wasal who is great with animals and he has been doing a lot of work towards the pet industry from the past 10 years, his animals are supplied world wide and is known for their quality and not quantity!
