PerfectGlasses frame

I've ordered a pair of glasses from www.perfectglasses.co.uk and received them in a timely manner.
The frame broke after two weeks, it was very poorly made and wasn't stable. I contacted customer service and asked for a refund, but they said that they don't do refunds and told that they can change the frame for free. So I paid for the shipping back and about a week later received the glasses back.
Second frame broke after a month. Very poor quality they have, I will not order from them again and I would not recommend this company to anyone.

PerfectGlasses Steer well clear of this company, unless of course you have money to throw away

My new glasses lasted just two wearings, second time a plastic clip departed from arm. Contacted PG's told to return, I did. Email from them saying broken to fair wear and tear but would replace for a further £40. Declined and asked for return of glasses and stated that I was a little disappointed in their response as it was just a plastic clip that had popped out. Return email from them saying that I should get them repaired by my local optician and glasses would be sent within the next 1-2 days. After 2 weeks phoned them as to ask where my glasses were, told will be sent tomorrow. Today, nearly a month later glasses returned...not repaired of course. Steer well clear of this company, unless of course you have money to throw away.

I should have taken the advice of the TV advert "should have gone to Specsavers".

Perfectglasses.co.uk, yes I totally agree with everything that has been said. After 10 frustrating weeks of trying to get something for my money, I have suddenly realised that this "company" have a comprehensive range of delaying tactics used in order to wear the customer down so that they will give up and claim their money back from a credit card or other payment provider! For example: the email you sent went into the spam box by mistake; the inbox was full; your order got lost in the post; the courier lost your order; they are sending a replacement which will be dispatched in the next 3-5/5-7 working days; our laboratory is investigating; they are processing the refund, etc etc.
If you have a problem and you want your money refunded by them you are in for a fight you will lose. I would like to know how this "company"can still operate! There are so many people saying the same thing. I have reported to Trading Standards but I don't hold out too much hope of any outcome. I think it needs many more unhappy customers to do the same. Do your homework...there are some really good online spec providers out there!

Don't use them! The workmanship is rubbish and the customer service is non-existent. If you have ordered and want to return items get them sent signed for and keep the receipt! Then escalate a claim through paypal - it seems to be the only way to get your money back; that's what I did.

Agree - it's people like this who give internet companies a bad name. I'm lucky I went through PayPal and they've returned my money, no thanks to PerfectGlasses. Avoid them like the plague unless you want to lose your hard earned money.

PerfectGlasses Long waits, no refunds, back tracking and generally making life difficult

Unbelievably poor. after lots of bad service, a request for a premium because my prescription was so complex (something that my opticians over the last 33 years had neglected to mention), long waits, no refunds, back tracking and generally making life difficult, i got my glasses. a mere 6 weeks after placing the order and having paid.

Yesterday, after 6 weeks of wearing them, the frame snapped and cannot be repaired. their customer service lady said that there would be no refund as this was due to normal wear and tear. i should point out that i am a rural mum, not given to wild parties or bear wrestling or anything else that in 6 weeks might be expected to break a pair of glasses. i now have a pair of lovely, ultra light, reactolite lenses that i cannot use and cannot refit to a frame.

I would have to conclude that any positive reviews must be false. the internet is littered with reviews stating similar problems to mine, and if i could give this company a negative rating, i would. AND IT WOULDN'T TAKE ME 6 WEEKS TO DO SO.

PerfectGlasses My experience with the company has been excruciating to say the least

My experience with the company has been excruciating to say the least, and eventually led me to report them to the trading standards. Long story short, the company has absolutely no regard for quality and it is not a UK company as the website claims. There is no physical office at the address listed on the website. All correspondences are forwarded to an address in India. For those who are interested, here's a timeline of what happened:

1) April 7: placed order for one pair of designer glasses and another complimentary pair
2) April 22: in response to my email inquiry, replied that 'I can confirm that your order is ready and it will be dispatched within 2-3 working days'
3) April 28: still no sign of glasses and called customer service--was informed that the delay was due to glasses failing quality checks. (I thought the order was ready?)
4) April 30: three weeks after the order was placed, they decided to tell me that the complimentary pair was no longer in stock--'I regret to inform you that we are currently unable to fulfill the order you placed with us as we discovered that the frames you ordered, of which we had only 1 left in stock when you placed your order, are in a damaged condition and unfit for use.'
5) May 4: received the designer pair and the complimentary pair also came about a week later. Felt disorientation wearing them but thought it was normal since this was a new prescription.
6) June 1: finally gave up trying to get used to the new glasses and took them to my optician (should have done that earlier but I was busy with exams and I wear contact lenses during the day). Was told the pupillary distance was off by about 10mm. Sent the glasses back for replacement the next day.

7) June 30: after the usual delays, one of the replacement pair was received. To my consternation it was still off. This time the PD was off by 8cm. Not bad, just give them 4 more attempts and they will finally get it right
8) July 1: I went to their office address and only found a company that leases out mailing addresses. Asked the clerk and was told the forwarding address for perfectglasses is in India.

I have spoken to Consumer Direct and the company is currently being investigated by the Trading Standards.

PerfectGlasses When problems happen, they just said not their fault and cannot give any refund

Avoid this shop. poor quality lens. I order prescription glasses with my current prescription that I completed my another glasses (and it no problem), but the problem occurred from their poor quality process and materials.

They claim that they have 100% guaranty on all products. But when problems happen, they just said not their fault and cannot give any refund.
