Went and bought tires there they told me they needed to order the tires that I wanted. I gave them the week they needed since I was traveling in several weeks and wanted to put new tires on my Excursion. The day came to have tires put on and I was not in town to get the truck after so my daughter picked up the truck when work was done, I asked her if they put E range tires on the truck and she told me the service Manager. Told her YES, I was very specific on the tire size, tread, and load range E. After I returned and drove the truck noticed that the car did not handle correctly so I returned and told them that it does not handle correctly (the service manager) he took the truck in for another whole day, and returned it to me saying it needed to have the tires balanced again, that it was not done correctly with original tire install. I left for vacation and during the trip the truck was sliding around curves and handled like crap. I looked at the tires and checked the pressure when I got a chance to stop at a mechanic in some strange town. He told me that the tires have the correct pressure but they are the wrong tires for the truck they should be E range tires not C range tires. The Pep Boys sold me E range but installed C range. This Vinnie and the other idiots at this Pep boys can only be one of 2 things a thief or incompetent! When I returned they told me that they would make it right and order the tires again, Once again I waited for a week to get the tires in. I went to check that they had the correct ties tread, size, and range E. I got there the ### behind the counter showed me the tires he was going to put on my truck and I told him that they are not the tires that I ordered, and told him to get the right ones. We went over it again. I went out of town again and when I returned the ### showed me again the same tires, SO THEY DID NOT EVEN TRY TO ODER THE CORRECT TIRES, than this Idiot tried to tell me that there is NO difference between E range And C range tires. After the Manager put his hand in my wife’s face like to speak to the hand motion and almost got knocked out, if not for my friend standing there to pull the manager away he was going down. The police showed up and the only thing they did is recommend that they give me my money back. They agreed to it and had the nuts to say they wanted the tires on my truck back. I told them when they produce the original tires than the will get these tires back. This is the worst place in the world to do business with the people there are idiots and rude they all need to have business training customer service training and there ### kicked.

I went to get a oil change.. And they took for ever and then they put my car in the parking lot with my windows down with my keys in it.. They didn't check my fluid levels. My wash light was on so I need them to add that..? So a indian man come out with a rag on his head and trys to just put water.. I could of did that home with a water hose..? I wanted the window washer blue fluid in it wow lol.. And I ask for castro 5/30 they gave me cheap oil so my car ran like # for 2 days and I had 2 go get another oil change. Because im a woman they think im stupid I bought my car bran new I have always used castro 5/30.. I will never go there again... Poor service

I agree, I am sick of India people coming here with their rude and nasty attitudes and habits. India people will throw a white person under the bus in a heartbeat to a black and vice versa because we all talk about how they do that! They are also dangerous...after all...their group bears "al quaida". They are here in our country and complaining about blacks and whites all over the place. Then our govt and companies deny us jobs and outsource the jobs to India people and Mexicans...Mexicans need to be deported and it is treasonistic for illegals to be coming here and going to college on our money...white and black kids cannot do this and lets not talk about how unfair this country has been to NAtive Americans!And woe on any state who gets a Mexican or Al quaida Indian for govenor or any other office...surely we cannot be this blind!

Several years ago my mom took her Ford F150 to Pep Boys for an alignment (it was verring off to the left.) She dropped it off, they did the alignment (well, I mean...they charged her for an alignment) and she took it home. It wouldn't drive a straight line out of the parking lot. She told me about it, so I went to take a look. I used to be a mechanic myself, so I am a little harder to fool when it comes to auto repairs. I got on my knees and popped my head under the truck. It took two seconds to see the problem...the bushing for the radius arm was shot. An alignment will never take on a vehicle if all the suspension components are not in working order and since the radius arm wasn't, there was NO way that the vehicle could hold its alignment. Therefore either an incompetent mechanic hooked the truck up and did an alignment without bothering to look the vehicle over. Anybody should have been able to notice what the problem was! Or they never pulled the truck in to the garage and charged my m0m for doing nothing. I just hate it when Auto Service places take advantage of women. I was pissed off. I drove her truck up there. I told the Assistant Manager that I wanted to speak with the Manager. He assured me that he was the man to help me with my problem. I told him the story and requested my mothers money back. He said he would have to get the manager (HA HA). Anyway, I told that Manager the story and he started telling me about all the measurements that go into an alignment. I didn't tell him that I knew anything about cars. I told him that the car was still veering to the left like it was before it was brought in. He suggested buying new tires. After letting him blow smoke up my ### for five minutes... I told him that I used to be a mechanic and that there is no way that an alignment would take on the vehicle because the radius arm bushing is bad. I argued with him for about five minutes and spoke very loud to ensure that all the people waiting for their car to be serviced. They had long faces as if they were now worried about if they are being taken to the cleaners. I ended up getting my moms money back and he told me to never come back. Trust me, he didn't have to worry about me returning. What a joke of a company. Beware! Take your car elsewhere.

On 11/5/10 my fiancee went to get a estimate of how much it would cost to have 4 "stripped" lugnuts removed. He arrived at 3:30pm at 5:15pm the estimate still was not completed. He left to come and pick me up at work and we were back for the estimate at 6:00pm. We waited until 7:30pm before we were told that the person who would be able to complete the estimate was not in. We didn't quite understand why such a simple job could not be completed by another mechanic. We were then told that the tool needed to complete the job was not there; it was with the mechanic who was not in. We were given paperwork were told to comeback in the morning. After a total of 3 hours and 15 mins. nothing was completed. We were infuriated but returned as we were told. We arrived at 10:00am the truck was pulled until 1/2 hour later. The mechanic used a hammer, chistle and air gun to get the lugnuts off. He was not at the truck the entire time. There was wandering back and forth from the customer service desk to the back, talking on the cell phone, talking with other mechanics, helping with other cars and a lengthly trip to the bathroom. We were told that one of the 4 lugnuts that needed to be removed was "crossthreaded" so a replacement nut could not be put on. The mechanic was the one who damaged it. The job was not completed until 12:00pm. We were charged $58.34!
We immediately went to a manager to complain and he talked to the service manager of the repair department. We were told that the job was a timely one and very difficult. We were obligated to pay because they completed the work. The parts were a total of $4.00 and were were charged $50.50 for labor. What a ripoff! So for the Pep Boys of 1440 Route 46 East in Parsippany, NJ : You need to learn the meaning of Customer Service!

I have been treated badly and feel like I was ripped of on my purchase of new tires.. I have had to replace three in 3 months becouse of defects.. The customer service was terrible and I purchased a warranty on them but was charged to replace them.. I will never let any one else go thru what I have or spend a 1000 dollars on defected products or fake warrantys with pep boys again... Further more the employees were playing poker on the work computers as I sat there trying to get my problem resolved which did not happen.

I bought for brand new tires for 700 dollars including warranty 2 months later I had bubbles on two of them.. I was charged full price to replace them and was treated badly by service represntative. Also I had to repurchase the warranty or they would not credit me the tiny bit they had offered which only saved me 4 dollars. Then a month later the new tire had another bubble on the side and I was charged full price to replace it. Then the back tires had cracking on the side walls that was brought to my notice by them and I was told they need to be replaced.. Once they found out they were new I was told that they defects were cosmetic and were not covered ont the warranty.. This was the worst experience I have ever had buying tires. I have now purchased 7 new tires in 6 months... Do not ever by tires from pep boys. What a discrace to the industry...

We purchased 4 Dakota tires from Pep Boys with road hazard warranty. We had a flat on one and the hole was in the side wall. My wife had to take the tire in and they replaced it but charged us for a new warranty and balance. I would highly suggest going to Discount or Big O. This is the first time I have had to pay for any money for road hazard damage. Both Big O and Discount replace the tire for free. I have had three replacements on one tire from Big O because my truck goes in and out of a Copper Mine everyday and Big O replaced the tire for free every time.

To Whom it may concern: I was in the store sometime last week and I felt that the manager, was very rude to one of the employees, I read her name of the employee and her name is Victoria, she felt very hurt in the way that he had yelled at her in the store., My heart went out to her all she can do was to lower her head and walk away..I have been in this store in the past, will not let him help me for any reason he a very rude and hateful person that you have working for your company. The manager's name is Ken..
