PeoplePerHour complaint against ammad z - resume writing - refund my money!

Hi there,

I have submitted countless request for refund. This business is unprofessional unethical and really really below standard for a customer service based business model.

How dare you paid the seller without my job being completed, or upto the mark its still under review and without my knowledge when i already have two dispute pending. What kind of ethical and moral grounds or values do you guys hold. Disguised under your T&C of third review, you guys cannot count it is the third review. Apart from extremely unprofessional manners of your seller that that I have to put up with I lose money too.
I am requesting my entire money back on this job. And I wont rest until i get it. I have just written to your CEO and I have contacted everyone on google who has placed a bad review for PPH .. I am film maker here I am very soon going to make a clip/ video of all the unhappy customers and upload in every social media i can. I am over business who think they are bigger than their customers . especially if they are unethical.

PeoplePerHour being refunded then not full amount as money taken eg fees as for currency

I have used pph for years but have always had issues with payments there payment gateway is terrible I have recently had money taken but not added to account and no way to get them to sort or they don't reply.

Also a few freelancers have had to refund me as they couldn't do o job but I then get a currency conversion fee taken off so I loose money each time even though not my fault and it's supposed to be in escrow so it shouldn't be converted till jobs done for things like this, plus they charge there fee, very very poor customer support to say they've have any very had to communicate with them and definitely ripping buyers and sellers off as sellers are charge 20% before they get there money and buyers charges fees when money taken and never returned and to remove money they charge you plus to get refund has taken up to 5 working days at there descression - think going to take court action to recover money and report to trading standards and office of fair trading and action fraud in the uk as it's ripping all off

PeoplePerHour never ever use them

If you use this service be prepared to pay more than they ask in their ads. For what? For absolutely everything you do using their website. Literally for every single move you make.
I know, it's terrible, but they don't really care.
Moreover, like other people said, don't give them your personal information. They will sell it to rubbish services and soon you will get bombarded with different emails and call.

You're warned.

PeoplePerHour buyer beware. it's a total scam!

They look very suspicious to me because they want too much. They requested my personal information. I am not going to provide it.
All they have is my number and I started to get calls from unknown numbers. I am sure my number was sold to different agencies. They call me and offer their service. Ya know, that's very irritating and brings me nothing but anger.

PeoplePerHour business practices

the talent here for me is tremendous though the companies business practice and customer service is not the best.

Fees and billing problems are a current problem and we've spent thousands.

If you can write a scope document and manage work expectations my experience is that the workers are good.

The company is now making me question how we continue to support.

PeoplePerHour avoid peopleperhour

I had nothing but trouble with this Peopleperhour! And the worst part was that Peopleperhour actually didn't care about anything, and when I was in a difficult situation and asked them for help they did absolutely nothing. They said if I wasn't satisfied with freelancer's work I had to discuss that with him. They literally said that helping me wasn't their responsibility.
I was never treated so terribly and consider that one of the worst service I've ever had.
I will never use Peopleperhour again, because there is no service and zero respect. Avoid dealing with them.

PeoplePerHour payments scam!

Unfortunately, since this buyer Jessica Walsh refuses to release a deposit for an invoice that was sent on March 2nd. Even after constant reminding and verbal promises that she is "on it" the deposit has not been released, and I have not been paid. On to of that, she still asked me to do perform another task (via Skype). Jessica, I'm not sure what happened since the first few tasks but I don't work for free and PPH doesn't pay until you release the deposits. I'm pretty sure you know this, as you explained it to me in the very beginning when I asked about invoicing after the first task. I'm disappointed to say that it looks like I have been screwed over.

PeoplePerHour web developer

Nimmi 9 is the seller - seriously stay away if you are seeking help with developing your Wordpress site. No idea what this seller is like at more basic jobs... PPH rate this seller a cert 2 even though I appear to be the first customer and 0 reviews. Now seller has to approve my refund even though she's done zero work on my job and the deadline is passed. I raised a refund request three days ago and PPH said if she didn't complete the job I get a refund. Now I have to waste who knows how much time trying to get a refund from PPH.

How this exchange ended probably best sums up my stressful dealing with the seller on PPH:

Hi Nimmi, sorry to say that this job is finished.

I think you are a scam. Please approve the refund of my money as you agreed to do this afternoon before changing your mind again.

I have reported you to PPH on your profile and through the customer service portal.

You have wasted a huge amount of my time. After over 65 messages with you over 7 days you have done nothing on my project. You promised the whole job would be done in 7 days but you don't even have a single sample to show me.

Please don't bother contacting me again.

UPDATE: After 2 days of emails I finally got the money put back into my PPH account, to use with another seller. But they charged me a 10% cancellation fee. Checked their policy - says they charge fee even if seller doesn't do any work or respond to your e-mails. How is this even legal that you have to pay a fee to a company who you paid upfront to not get any service at all from. So I got a total headache, wasted literally hours with scam seller/terrible customer service centre, and lost a deposit. Now I have to start all over again with another seller. Wouldn't even bother if they weren't holding my money. My advice - never get a big job done here unless the seller has a load of reviews and 100% 5-cert rating. I personally wouldn't even risk it then. I might use a high rated seller for a very small job, but that's about it. But seeing as they send constant spam I would deactivate my account and start again when I needed something done. Hopefully the next seller will give me a better experience.

PeoplePerHour people per hour supports unethical practices and over charges in fees

people per hour is filled with criminal freelancers. 80% of profiles are fake. They lie say they can do a job dissapear. You loose 20% in fees 1 week of time. Fake profiles use ip addresses from phillipines like kevin gray who claims to own alphabet digital. They all rebuttal the same and know the rules and use the same language. Its a platform that robs people! i have wasted 4 months and over 2000$ and not a complete website lost over 300$ in refund fees weeks and days to wait for refunds. They defend scammers and people who dont deliver jobs they respond on forums with fake profiles on their platform as though its randomn people they create fake profiles to blackmail people. Once a person suggested an hourlie i refused and wanted to blackmail me to write an article on my company or else i had to pay them 70$ for a press release i never asked for. Three freelancers hacked my website and where paid in full for incomplete jobs. This platform lives off fake profiles, disputes and does not care to have good credible professionals or a good reputation they just want money ! run away guys stay as far as possible away from this platform the freelancers and the platform will rob you dry till the last possible way they can !

I had the same experience. They are Scammers ! It will cost you money & time and will get you nothing but non transparent fees taken from your account without your knowledge, their seller are rude & unprofessional and their customer service is all automated - from their fb messages, to their email & dispute resolution. The worst which I find very offensive is they remove your feedback from their website if its not in their favor. So that mean that information & reviews are manipulated and hence the buyer only looking at the positive review and has no clue until they go searching and find review like this. There is now a PeopleperhourUnethical face book page. Write your reviews there. I did! we don't need another company who CEO ( i wrote to him three time no response even acknowledgement let alone an apology) who treats customer like they don't matter, how many such we already know off ! Not one more !

They are a complete scam as I have just found out after paying around $300 to Jewel S. who is supposed to be English but is actually Indian with very bad English skills. I had paid for SEO work and was sent 10 crappy link that had been put on blogs for other companies selling same product as me.
I was assured this was just a small part of the work and in 30 days I would rank in the top 3 on google for my selected keywords.
They requested payment and as the last 5 jobs I bought from other sellers on their worked out good I thought ok and paid.
Suddenly all the links they had put up for me vanished and the seller Jewel S, refused to respond to my mails asking what was going on so I requested a refund which I never got I complained to their support and got told the work had been completed so I would not get a refund.
Fortunately for me in Sweden where I live Credit Cards companies have to do a full charge back if I state was not a Payment I consented too so I was able to get my money back eventually.

But I will never use peopleperhour.com again!
Beware peopleperhour.com is a SCAM!

Similar here, I signed up to PPH two days ago and thus far I have had 6 spam emails selling design services to me (apart from the admin emails about setting up my account).

I emailed asking them to stop spamming me and was told they are sorry for the inconvenience but nothing more.

I appreciate there is an 'unsubscribe' link on the bottom, but as far as I am concerned this is like slapping somebody and telling them if they ask nicely you won't do it again.

Am deleting my account, if they can't resist using their user base as sales leads then frankly they can go swivel - it smacks of an attitude that has no respect for my email address and details - for all I know that email address (created purely for PPH, I'm happy to say !) along with all my professional details, DOB and whatever else are out there now being sold to othe spammers.

Bye bye PPH !

I have been repeatedly spammed by PeoplePerHour.com. I keep getting emails through them from a Bo Bisset asking me to endorse him. First of all, I don't know a Bo Bisset, and I sure as heck am not going to endorse him for anything. But when I try to get myself removed from their list, there is no link, and replying to the sending email (info@peopleperhour.com) requesting removal results in a "Welcome" email from their help desk. Responding to that email with a request for removal results in another Welcome email asking me to "confirm" my password. What the heck? I had never heard of this site before getting spammed by them, and I am NOT impressed. I am not about to sign up for an account, just so I can request to be removed from their email list. I reported them to Google as a spam site.
