I too fell for this scam. I have been trying to get in touch with someone but with no response. Some guy has been trying to call me but doesn't get ahold of me in the hours I specified. I can't believe I fell for yet another scam. I couldn't afford the $197.00 but because she made it sound so good, I went for it and now I'm gonna struggle the rest of the month because of it. I can't believe there are people out there that still prey on us hard working people and take advantage of those who just want something better. It takes all kinds I guess. I'm just mad because I have my first grandbaby on the way and now I have to struggle to keep bills paid to help her out.

well, like most of you I was duped into joining Penbrooks big scam. My mother use to do rebates when she was still alive and made money at it. But the big difference was she mailed her rebates in.
This I should have known was to good to be true. ALL I would like to do is get the money back without the hassel. But I can see that isn't going to happen. The phone number if it is a good number must only work in a narrow window of opportunity. The must is so bad that I am sure it is that way so you won't stay on the line for very long. I have tried e-mailing them with no success. I could call her all sort of names but what good would that do, so I am out 197.00 and that hurts but nomatter who contacts me from now on it gets deleted. Do you know that in a span of 48 hours I had 26 of those rebate offers for work. So I guess if you are industerious enough you could build your own website at IwealthU.com and do this very same thing. NO THANK YOU BECAUSE WHEN SOMEONE GET MAD ENOUGH SHE WILL RUE THE DAY THAT SHE GOT RICH OFF INNOCENT PEOPLE. KEEP THE FAITH OUT THERE IN CYBER LAND.

Wow! As they say if it sounds too good to be true then it is. I googled Penbrook Productions and got nothing but SCAM, FRAUD and whatnot. I called the customer service number that is listed in the comment by Joan Mcintire and it sounded professional and was on hold for 5 minutes and counting...

I too got caught in the net of dishonest, deceptive business practice of Angela Penbrook or aka Penbrook Productions. She collected my $197.00 with nothing to show for - no link to get instructions (who wants them anyhow, after reading all the complaints) and no response to my phone calls. I just hope my credit card company will reverse the charge. Good luck to all of you out there who got involved with this shoddy crook. AND PLEASE, (THIS IS A REMINDER TO MYSELF ALSO), ALWAYS DO YOUR RESEARCH.

Yea, this is a big time scam. I have tried calling their 800# and just get stuck on hold forever and hung up after 20 mins and never did talk to anyone. I even have sent 2 emails to them through their contact us email and haven't heard a thing. They have charged my acct and I have been requesting a refund, because their ad was nothing like they said. I am going to file a rpt with the better business bureau and I hope everyone sees what a scam this is. Shame on you Angela for taking advantage of people that want to make extra money by putting false ads out there in telling them how they can make money by processing rebates and that's not even what it is. You are nothing but a theif in my eyes!

I also fell for this scam. After I realized I was sucked in in to crap. I did call [protected] #2 and told jolene that I wanted my credit card credited she immediatly did it, she told me that I would have the money back on my card in 2-3 days and I would recieve a conf in 24 hrs. I guess I will wait and see. How sad is this, I did ask if this was false advertising and she said "yes it is" But all is well when (if) I get my money back.

I too was scammed. I was looking for a little extra income, with a child in college this would be great! WOW was I wrong. I immediately emailed a request o for a refund. Several days later I recieveda response saying the refund would show up in 5-7 days. Still nothing, Iemailed again and again, the emails coming back to me with no response. I filed a dispute with my cc company. today I fanally reached someone at [protected]. She gave me arefund confirmation number and said I should see the credit in 5-7 days. This is the first and last time I will respond to any email like this. Lesson learned, I recommend you keep trying the number, eventually someone should answer. I was on hold listening to music for 20 minutes. I hope this helps someone.

OMG!
I have been considering this work at home rebate processor deal for some time now. I was leery and so I've done some research on this and discovered from this website that it's definitely a scam. I'm soooo glad that I found this. I read over all the privacy policies, terms of service, warranties, etc. at the bottom of the website and what raised a flag for me is when I read that they weren't responsible for losses. Losses? Why would you lose money in this situation. Well, now I know why.

Thanks again for the info! Very helpful in deed.

I sincerely feel for all of you who have fallen into this and wish you all the best in getting your money back.

There are opportunities to make money from home, you just need to do the research prior to. Many of these opportunities do require a fee in order to get set-up. The reason for this is the expense they incur in processing the request, services they provide, staffing support personnel, etc. Another reason for the fees that some people charge is due to the fact that so many people will sign up for these programs and never do anything with them. Then the company incurs any and all expense. I wouldn't let the fee someone charges deter you from looking into the program further.

The "limited availability" or "limited positions" is typically a marketing concept used to get people to act without research. Most companies will pull their advertisement once they are nearing capacity. This simply gets the immediate response from those who believe it is a "amazing deal".

Anytime someone tells you how easy something is, chances are it is not true. I personally have a program in which I am expanding and taking on part-time workers and the first thing I tell anyone is that they will get out of it what they put into it. I have concidered charging a small fee to help alleviate the cash flow issues that are brought into play with expansion and the added workload and expense. In addition to this, I can tell you there are other "legitimate" companies out there thatcharge fees (for the reasons listed above), such as United First Financial. They truly have a wonderful program, but do charge a fee. The do not, however tell you that you can "easily" make $225 in sixty minutes.

If anyone is truly interested in earning additional income from home, please click the email button on this posting and I will get back in touch with you as soon as possible. I make no guarantees that you would be accepted for a position, as I am not currently charging a fee and do not want to incur exspense for those not willing to work. In regards to the United First Financial program, I can also provide information on this, as it is a wonderful opportunity to make additional money (keep in mind it is not a get rich quick scheme).

Please don't beat yourselves up about this scam! Today is March 25, 2008 my friend girl fell vitim to this hoast. I refused to invest until I got more information on the site. I did not care if it was just $197.00 That's more than what I wanted to loose with the economy going the way it is. What I've learned from this is that they tell you it will take 24hours to give you access code to website! They are only stalling you so that you don't stop the credit card processing. I really feel bad for those who have not been able to recover there loss. I really do wish that there was something more we could do to put a stop to the scamming because everyone that I know that has gotten involved with this scam is because they went through careerbuilder for employment & got an email from Angela Penbrook. If anyone has any ideals as to how we can prevent others from gettting scam I'm with you!

Yep I fell for the same trick...This is a money making scheme..It is all just a fancy way of ripping you out of 200.00. If you are looking to make money online or a second source of income this is not it. I called the toll free number and the lady did not even want to talk to me.. Yep a deffinate scam.

I too fell victim of this scam. It did sound like a great way to make extra income and by no means lead me to believe that this was a mere instructional for clickbank.Nothing against clickbank but thatexplains itself. call [protected] and demand a refund and a confirmation #. I am also filing a complaint with clickbank. The worst was that another division called me and tried to hard sell me their prograam that goes ubove and beyond this one for 10-15K on my credit card. My true fear with this is identity theft. I am having my account # changed immediately! WOW! what a scam... no wonder she made 9mil...
Best to all...

I have done some some pretty stupid things in my day, but falling for this processing scam has to take the cake. I should have researched 1st. No one answers their phones and I have sent emails for refunds and my bank says I cannot do anything to get my money back. Really sucks!
I'm going to contact BBB and anyone else who will listen.

I that CareerBuilder.com would not allow any scam artist to advertise on their site, but I was wrong.
They should be reported for misleading people.
Has anyone had any luck with their credit card companies refusing payment to Pembrook?

Boy was that close. I read the ad and was so ready to sent in the $197. I need money so badly for bills and just to live and it sounded like a dream. Yet it was almost a nightmare. Good thing I googled ths company. Thanks so much for others remarks. This should be stopped immediately.

I feel like an idiot, , it sounded to good to be true. That should have been a RED flag! We all need to file this with FBI because the more complaints we send them the more they might look into this scam.I should have done some research on this before exposing me and my information. The best thing we can do now is to share this with every post and blog or any other information site so everyone will get this message before it is to late for them too.

I WAS ALSO LED LIKE A SHEEP DOWN ANGELA'S PATH INTO A VERY CLEVER ON-LINE BANK ROBBERY. THRU ANGELIA'S CLEVER LIE, EACH OF US GAVE OUR PERMISSION TO BE ROBBED

I, AND ALL OTHERS WHO GOT CAUGHT IN HER CLEVER SCAM/FRAUD WOULD LIKE TO KNOW "ASAP, " IF HER BUSINESS CREDIT CARD ACCOUNT HAS BEEN DISARMED. I CERTAINLY HOPE IT HAS.
WHILE TALKING TO MY DEBIT CARD BANK I WAS TOLD THAT AS OF 4 PM MARCH 20TH MY ACCT HAD NOT BEEN CHARGED. I HAD GIVEN THE CARD NUMBER AT AROUND 3 AM ON MARCH 19TH. I HOPE THIS IS AN INDICATION THAT SOME SOURCE HAS SHUT HER DOWN.
THE CREDIT CARD PROTECTION THAT COMES WITH MY ACCT AT MY SMALL BANK ASSURES ME THAT THEY WILL CREDIT MY ACCT IF IT DOES GET CHARGED.
I WILL BE SENDING A LOT OF INFO FROM THE INTERNET SITES TO MY BANK IN TOMORROWS MAIL.
MY HOPE IS THAT MANY OTHERS WILL HAVE THE SAME KIND OF PROTECTION.
IT IS GOOD TO KNOW ALL OF US AND THE LAW ARE SWARMING AROUND THIS FALLEN ANGEL LIKE A SWARM OF KILLER BEES.
TAKE CARE AND KEEP THE SWARM STINGING,

For those of you that want to know how to get your money back:
the contact email for customer care is FAKE!
the phone number [protected] gets you a busy signal
the phone number [protected] did contact someone who could hardly understand English - BUT she said she'd issue a refund. By law after making a purchase we have THREE DAYS to get out of the deal. It will take a few days to show on the credit card. Also contact your crdit card company to let them know you've been scammed and they will make record of it on your account in the disclaimer department. When the actual charge gets posted on your account, you then call your credit card company to remind them of the scam, and that you have made every effort to cancel with the company, and you will not be paying that charge and proceed with the instructions they explain to you.

I am there with all of you! However I did manage to get 6 days of info. from her site, before she shut it down. Angela Penbrook has no complaints with the Better Busines Bureau for the las t 36 months...but I do believe that is about to change.
I used the Number on the site (2008 WealthDCI | Contact Us -[protected] and got the same song and dance as the rest of you. System down for upgrades and so forth.

I'm there with you guys. I'm working in a pizzeria now and I was trying to make some extra money because my friends and I wanted to go to Europe after Graduation. I only had $480 in the bank before today and now I am far below that after signing up for Penbrook Productions and losing $197. I wish I had done some research first. I couldnt even log into the site, access was denied as soon as I finished the register page. Now I'm going to have to work extra hours to get that back. Stay away from the site!

Thank you for posting this information!

I was about to "join" in the Rebate Processing business, but did not see the company name for their side of the agreement, so I looked in the window for the website and found Penbrook Productions, then used a Google search to find numerous complaints of rip-off.

I have learned a hard lesson here. I was looking for a home based job Paid 197.00 to start my own business. I was sent an email welcoming me to this company that I would receive and email from Angela with the steps to take to start the business. I never received the email I called the [protected] put me on hold then went to busy signal
I have sent emails making them aware that I had not received anything yet. I am now trying various ways to expose this scam. ABC NEWS, BBB. etc

I paid out the $197 yesterday, and haven't been able to get online since. The phone number to "Penbrook Productions" works [protected] . You get people who can barely speak English telling you that "the system is down," and when you ask them when it might be fixed, they say they don't have access to that information. Neither does the supervisor. That went on yesterday and today, before I finally wised up and googled Penbrook Productions, and saw the scam info. Why was I so gullible?! Just needed the money, and it sounded like a good idea. Somebody suggested we hire an "internet investigator." What is that -- how does one find one (that isn't a scam)? Sigh.
