Pearson Vue / No results

Despite having passed my exam on the 4th of October (and having emailed a scanned copy of my results) I am still not credited with the 'Pass'

I have escalated this to Pearson support, but apart from being told that they do not have to do anything by some very rude and passive aggressive operators nothing has happened.

Support from Pearson in fixing their error has been dismal.

    Pearson vue is a scam. The test that Pearson vue provides to the potential teachers, are greatly manipulated by the company. It doesn’t allow the examiners to see what question they are working on. It simply gives them questions after questions without showing what number of question the examiners are on. For example, when I went to take my test, there was no way for me to find out how many questions I was on. It also manipulates the time the examiners have to answer the questions. It simply allows the examiners to click on the computer time, which takes time out of the examiners’ test to keep clicking on the computer time. No wonder they do not allow the examiners’ to bring their own watch, and the only poor excuses that they have is that examiners, use their watch to teat. How would the examiner teat, if they bring a simple watch to keep track of their own time?

    Pearson vue testing system is just a straight up scam that continue making the examiners paying high testing fees…………this company and many more like it have to goooooooooooo!!!

    The level of people’s intelligence cannot be determined by this unbalance testing company (Pearson vue) administrates the test and set up its own scamming system to bleed the great potential Educators and Instructors out of their pocket…….

    I also had an issue when a Pearson Vue test I was taking errored out (I got a screen which said signal lost)
    The people in the training centre were rude and said I they could reset the test - yet I didn't want to restart so I requested my money back
    I have a complaint number and have tried calling the Pearson Vue contact number I was given - no response. I have also tried emailing - still no response

    It is absurd what they are doing this to us " Educator" I wonder why nobody does not do any thing about. I personally have spend approximately $2, 700 on getting all their testes done and every time that I take it is worse. I have bought every books in the market, every online practices guide and nothing since to help. Something must be wrong. I have put tons of hours of study, workshop and nothing since to be working. I need help.

    @yanet68 I have taken the OGET(Oklahoma General Education Test) 13 times through Pearson and have not passed it yet. I have been to seminars, workshops, tutors and tons of books. I wonder if I'm flagged or something. I think that there may be a conspiracy. I recently took another state test called the OPTE and my scaled score was high but I still failed it. I do not understand. Where do I start to file a claim?

    All people that have bad experience with Pearson Vue should share their experience and together make a system that is fair for all. People work hard for their money and nobody deserve to be rip off. This is a Democratic country and business must be hold accountable for their action.

    I totally agree with these comments. They really do not care about their customers (probably because of the monopoly issue) and NOT willing to help people get their problems resolved. I faced a glitch in their system and simply rejected my request. They are not responsive and fair at all. There should be some organizations to supervise their actions and prevent wasting people's money and all this hassle. Here is America and we should speak out to get this problem solved.

    I booked a PTE-A test in Sheffield and wasn't allowed to take it as my marriage name wasn't on passport or UK identity card so I had to pay another £200 and through many complaints through emails & phone calls, I nearly wasn't allowed to take it again the following Friday when I rebooked it etc.

    The call centre staff from India don't understand most of the conversation and just keep asking you to email customer care and then customer care (Rep Sarah White) says call the number again. You go round in a circle and the rep on the phone from India won't give you their name.

    Whilst I was at the Manchester Pearson Centre (111 Piccadilly) the centre staff changed a name for a guy called Ed to Edward and this person didn't lose his £200 as I did. The English person got his name changed very easily in a few minutes but I couldn't have my marriage name taken off but even supplied my Home Office letter and Marriage Certificate but they wouldn't check this.

    I have put in a complaint with trading standards and the Skills Funding Agency. The people on this forum saying people are complaining for other reasons are obviously working for Pearson's and t this company should be taken off from the National Education Registers and investigated. Scam ARTISTS.

    I recommend don't book tests with Pearson’s and book through local Governed Colleges.

    I appeared for CSQA exam on October 19th 2015. The results were declared on 24th October 2015. I was declared fail. When I approached them they said that I have not answered 2 subjective questions and that carried maximum marks. This was a surprise to me as I ensured all the 12 questions as I had eye on count down that was going on the system. When I approached them they did not prove me that I had not answered 12 questions. They are just cheating people and running a fraud show. They are least bothered about the efforts spent by the individual preparingt for the exam.Hence I request you to be careful with these centeres.

    I have taken my GED test 8 times because of Pearson, they are a horrible company. They have given me the same exact score for all of my test twice in a row. Once it was 141 and then 147 for my science and social studies kind of ironic, because your going to get a better score in one subject then the other period. Also they did the same thing with my language arts and mathematics they gave me the same exact score from two years ago which was 141 and my language arts was 141 and then I recently just took it again because they did not score my test correctly and refused to so I had to wait 3 months to re-take my mathematics and language arts test so I took them again on 3/24/2017 and they tried telling me I failed my mathematics test by 142 lol, mmmm you give me one point from my last test..thy also took 34 minutes off my test which I could not finish 3 questions on my mathematics test. They try telling me I need to pay then $150.00 dollars to have it re-scored after I have already paid them nearly $2, 900 dollars for screwing my tests up all of them. They won't give me those 3 extra points that they them selfs took away from me because that means I would have a passing score which means they won't get anymore money from me..that's all that company wants is money their a SCAM!! Huge SCAM!! People that get vouchers and pay only $10 dollars for each test always fails their tests all three shots EVERYTIME!! Same thing happened with my friend and he's a (genius) I'm talking about a kid that is so smart that he can answer anything and mean anything correct. And they failed him all 3 chances on all 4 subjects all because he was paying $10 dollars a test but after he didn't have a voucher and he paid full price for all 4 test he went and took all 4 test the same time on the same day he passed them all with collage credit scores. And it only took him literally 2 hours to finish them ALL!! Pearson DONT CARE about any individual nor their success on retrieving their GED or their future..all they care about is money. Their thiefs, Frauds, and that company is a SCAM!! If you want proof of my scores to show you please don't hesitate to reach out to me because I've had enough of Pearson vues crap!! With them being liar liers Frauds, and scammer artists!!! Oh one more thing they supposably had my tests scored seriously 2 minutes after I submitted it..sorry but that's unreal and I don't care if it's a computer scoreing it or a person. No test can be scored that fast with multiple choice questions & 45-65 answers to them as with the written response they expect you to be a author of a book. And if it's not perfect they do not give you any points. I literly wrote a 700 words about what option do you feel that's better. I'm sure that's asking you for your own opinion so I put in my own expressions and opinions and they didn't give me not one point...SCAMERS!!!

    i think I can agree. Let me explain my story. i am trying to become a E.M.T., Emergency Medical Technician. I have to pass the nremt. It is the national test to become certified. I have taken this test 3 times. It basically gives me the same results. I was near passing in this and that and then it said I was below passing in this and that when I had been near passing before. let me explain. 5 areas are on the test and they're 1.Airway, breathing, and ventilation 2. Cardiology and Resuscitation 3. Trauma 4. Medical Obstetrics and Gynecology and 5. EMS Operations. All 3 times I have taken the test I was told I was near passing in the 2nd area and others. But during all the times I took the test, in some of the other areas it said I below passing even though I had been told I was near passing in that area before during the other times I had taken the test. Such as the 1st area I was near passing in it the first 2 times I took the test and now on the 3rd time i took it, It said I was below passing in it. All things it tells me to go over. it tells me to go over everything. It has told me that all 3 times I have taken the test. So no matter what areas I have or have not passed according to the computer. It would tell me to go over everything. The things the test has told me to go over, I remember questions in those areas and I swear I got those questions right. Such as how to take care of a patient who is bleeding profusely or excessively. I swear I got that question right and it still tells me to go over that. I find that strange but I don't know. I feel like I got more questions right than I did getting questions wrong or guessing. Now I do have the option to pay for the test to be reviewed by an actual person and not a computer. Now I am thinking of doing this now that I have seen all these complaints I've found. Can anyone tell me their opinion in getting my test reviewed by an actual person. I have had friends who passed this test on the first try. Strange they were not in my situation right now. I need to pass this test to get a job. I am unemployed. an anyone tell me their opinion in getting my test reviewed by an actual person

    also I forgot to say. You don't get a actual grade on the test. You are just told if you passed or not. it is a level of competency in order to pass. minimum amount of questions your required to answer is 70. but at the most 120. 120 questions in total on the test. The computer monitors you by what you put in for an answer in the previous question and will decide how many more questions you should be asked. I feel like it will give you the same question again int he same area. because I have gotten that. Can anyone tell me their opinion in getting my test reviewed by an actual person

    Pearson vue is a joke!!! I took my retest skills test back in March wich i know i passed the first time because i am no first timer, i have been certified In another state before. It has been 2months and my name is still not listed on the registry. I have called pearson many of times to get the same bs excuse ( they have emailed their supervisor they are working on it check back in 3-5days) i have done this for weeks now and still nothing new still being told the same thing. This company is not like it was years ago i never had these problems before. Im still waiting for my answers and until i get them i will be contacting the corprate office and better business till i get what i need. Pearson vue is holding us from our jobs and from making the money we should be making. Should we all send them a bill for all the money sent to them for retests and for time wasted waiting for our certification so we can get employed in the job we trained to do.? Pearson will never get a good word from me this has been the worst experience ever, toss up between Ross education centre and Pearson vue for the worst company ever!!!

    @Alaina01 Im sorry to hear that. Well with my test, the nremt. I am having it reviewed... Which would be the 3rd time I took the test. Now apparently on the nremt website, www.nremt.org they are the ones who review any tests. So I paid them. My payment to have my test reviewed has been completed and they have begun the process of reviewing my test. Hopefully I passed, but I will see. I just can't say I did pass because I have been losing hope. I will see if the computer made a mistake. I remember a guy who had to have graduated from the emt course a lot more sooner than me because I had to take it the course again. The last time I took this nremt test I saw him waiting to take it when I was leaving after I had finished taking my test. I just don't see why he would have waited so long to take the test or maybe he failed the course and had to take it again. That would explain me seeing him again at that time. But I just don't see how he could have failed the course and had to take it again. I think he had taken this test more than once.

    Hello Everyone,
    I had a bad experience this Saturday. I went to take my Content exam at one of their Pearson Vue locations. I took two identification documents. They gave me the agreement document to review, after sitting down for 30 minutes I was told, “We don’t think this is you!” I was like what do you mean? They asked me to go home and get more prove (birth certificate, ss#, and or passport) I did! I went home to get my birth certificate and my passport. They talked to the manager and after wasting all that time they told me, “Come back when you look like the picture!” I was so upset that I told them, I have paid $122 to take this exam. What are you going to report to Pearson or ILTS? they told me that they would just mark me ABSENT. I was so upset. I contacted Pearson Vue today. They filed a claim and told me to call them back in 3 days 😡 I don’t know what will happen next but I know I might not get my money back! Any one with a similar situation?
