Its sad I am trying to pay a bill. I can not get in touch with these people. I have not received a bill for July or August and do not need nobody coming to my house to repo nothing. I call and the phone rings busy constantly and the website is no longer up and running. If anyone can get in touch with these people, please post because I need to give them a peace of my mind and my money.

I have atttempted to contact Peak 5 several times since July 31 to make a payment via their Customer Service department (I alway make my payments to this company this way). Each time I call I get a busy signal. I did not recieve my last statement. Is this company going bankrupt and failing to inform it's customers? I do not want to send a payment when I cannot contact the company. Please advise.

It is sad that this company has been bought out so many times that I have lost count. I have been trying to contact them to pay my car note on the number provided and continue to receive a busy signal. It is sad to have to wonder if they will pull up and take our car. Please share any contact information you have.

Peak 5 will call and say they want to help you get caught up on payments. When you work something out with them and think that you have paid what you have agreed to they give you some excuse as to why they didn't follow through with what they agreed to and that you are still behind and they can't help you till you get caught up. This company is a joke and should be sued for fraudulent acts.

I understand Attorney Donald Harris in Washington DC has similar clients and is starting an action against Peak 5 about these payment problems. You might want to contact him at [protected]. Don't know if it will help but someone needs to do something on this unfair business practice.

I am having the same problem with my car payment. I got a got a bill for july which i had already paid, now i am waiting for the august and i have not recieved it yet and august is over. And when all this first happen, i found the number to auto portfolio services and called them. I asked if they had my car loan (know at the time they said no, but in the end they actually did), they said no. i asked if they could help me figure out what is going on. She told me to keep calling my car loan company until they answer (peak 5), im like the number is busy and she was like keep trying...click (and i here the dial tone)

Should i be worry about my car being repo? Even though i sent my august payment in, i do not entirely trust this company.

Peak 5 Auto Portfolio Services

Beware! Peak 5 folded and after briefly transferring assets to "APS" and then to SST they were immediately transferred back to "APS". They use the same software, account info system, and statement printing as Peak 5. And they're in Greenwood CO. They are Peak 5 reformulated as "APS". I thank God i only have two more years of dealing with an ### company.

Peak 5 Dont know where to send car note to and who is original lein holder

I have been calling Peak 5 for the past 3 weeks and have gotten a busy signal everytime. Their website is closed down and I don't have any idea where to send my car payments to. I have 3 car payments left and I would like the title to my car when it is paid off. Someone called about a week ago from a unkown number at 6:45 p.m. eastern standard time and stated they had taken over my loan. I wasn't sure if it was a scam and the lady stated she didn't have all the information on my account. I didn't want to disclose any personal information because it just didnt sound right. I found out Peak 5 had filed bankruptcy after the phone call. Since the person called unkown I wasn't able to call back. I received mail from a company called Elga Credit Union that sends me mail about my car. The address to them and phone number are: 2305 S. Center Road Burton, MI [protected] or [protected]. If anyone finds out any information can you please contact me at the information below:

Peak 5 Out of Business

I have been paying my car loan for several years now. I started when they were Flat Iron Financial. I just found out that my June payment went through but my July payment was returned and the next one is due in a couple of weeks. I am really worried about getting my car repo'd. I only have the one car and I have 3 kids. I don't even live on a bus line so I would be srewed. If anyone is planning a class action law suit please message me with the details I would really like to get in on that. These people are crazy, what kind of business closes their doors with no explanation as to where to send the payments from that point on. I know the lien holder is going to want their money soon and we don't even know who to send it to. It would be great if they are jsut going to give all of us the sras we have with no more payments but non of us are that lucky.

Oh my I didn't know this was going on! I was just looking over my bank statement online and it said that this months payment was returned from them. I called the 877 number of theirs and it didn't work. So I decided to google it and got this website. UGH! What now?

Peak 5 has also taken my June payment out of my bank thru an ACH withdrawl. Now I have received letters and phone calls from another lender called SST stating they have now taken over the Peak 5 business but expect me to again pay the June payment because Peak 5 did not transfer any records showing my June payment posted. So as of now I am past due. This new company has been a total nighmare for me. I'm not so sure were in better hands. I too am now in fear of getting my truck repo'd. I'm not sure what to do at this point. Coming up with an extra truck payment just to settle the new financial SST records is not my fault. I've done my part in paying monthly for the past 2 years without fail. If anyone needs SST information here's the phone number [protected].

I have had automatic payments with Peak 5, then Flat Iron through my bank. Never missed a payment now all of a sudden no billing statements and no attempts to claim the money from the bank. I need help. Repo is not something I can do right now. I have NEVER been a day late. No letter, no answer on their phones. Who do I call? How do I proceed. The place where I got my car is baffled. I don't know anyone else who has ever experienced this problem. What kind of place goes out of business with no forwarding information. How would you get title to the car?

Where do we send the payments? The PO Box 650057 Dallas Tx. is this still the right address? Wheree do we call. I will now be making another payment and we will see what happens. I just don't want to wake up and find that my car has been taken away due to none payment.
Can anyone help?

I am having the same problem with my account with Peak 5. My payments are automatically taken out of my account but nothing has been taken out. Auto loan servicer Peak5 Financial, formerly Flatiron Financial and Centrix Financial, shut down its business on July 10.

The company serviced loans originated by credit unions. Two companies, Systems & Services Technologies in St. Joseph, Mo. and Auto Portfolio Services in Greenwood Village, Colo. have taken over some of Peak5’s loans.

One client was Velocity CU, which told Credit Union Times it was notified June 12 that Peak5 would be ceasing all operations. Velocity had already transferred many of its loans from peak5 to SST in January 2009.

“Velocity will work closely with our members and SST to ensure that our members’ loans and payments are serviced properly during this temporary disruption caused by the untimely closure of Peak 5, ” Debbie Mitchell, president/CEO of Velocity, said.

A long list of borrowers trying to pay their loans or retrieve their vehicle titles appear at Peak 5 — Closed with no answers.

Peak5 CEO Kevin Barry said in October of last year that Peak5 would have to either find a buyer, raise rates or close by year-end (CU Times, Nov. 8, 2008).

Peak 5 Closed with no answers

I called this morning to make arrangements to pay off my loan and the recording said to hold for the next available customer service rep and after 15 minutes it hung up. When I tried to call back the recording now stated that Peak 5 was closed for information concerning your new payment arrangements to contact your lien holder and there were no further comments. Guess who the lien holder is!?! Centrix, which was the company bought by Peak 5 over 2 years ago. Does anyone have anymore info? I am tired of dealing with these people. I have contacted BBB and the Secretary of State office in Colorado. The BBB is trying to help but the woman in the state office didn't act like she had time to deal with my questions.

So I read all the comments found out APS has my loan but they are really still Peak 5 - I have had problems with Peak 5 ever since my loan was bought by them - now they tell me I am a year behind on my payments - which I am not - but no matter - they say I am therefore I am. I have had problems with them not applying or incorrectly applying my payments forever. Now they say my vehicle has been reported stolen to the authorities. Can they do this? or just have my vehicle repo? They won't work with me at all I have to pay 6k - that is the only option they gave me!

I have had a loan with Centrix/Flat Iron/Peak 5/ Auto Portfolio Services/ for 4 years. I had a few payments pushed back to the end of my loan over the years, however, they did not tell me that it was going to turn into one big balloon payment at the end of my loan. My payments were $300 a month and the final payoff is $1200. I tried to make a payment of $300 back in May to just keep paying my usual amount, but could not get a hold of anyone. That is when I looked on line and saw that Peak 5 was out of business. I waited for 2 months before I was contacted by APS about my loan and guess what, APS claimed that I owed them $400 more than what I believed I owed. I spoke with someone from APS and asked that they send me a detailed statement of my account history so that I knew that they indeed had my loan and to see where they were getting the $400 difference from. Guess what? I never received a thing. I have tried to contact them several times and can never get thru to them, it just rings one long ring and there is no answering machine. I am not about to send my money to just anyone and I have NO PROOF of who they are. I finally received a repossession notice in the mail yesterday demanding the $1550 that they say I owe and guess what, it's not from APS...but from Centrix Funds ( who has been to court for racketeering according the the state of CO ). I am not sure what to do from here. Who has my loan? What is the payoff? Who is APS? and who the hell is Centrix Funds?

PLEASE if anyone has any ideas on what I can do from here, please let me know. I sincerley doubt that if I pay the $1500 to APS or Centrix or whoever, that it will even be applied to my account.
