earlier this summer my house had burnt down and we had to move to another place for a few months while the renovated my home. During this time I received a bill from publishers clearing house or PCH saying I orders a few items from them and I owed them about $37 bucks and I was like, wait...I didn't order anything from them and if I HAD I would have paid for it by Visa unless it was a subscription or something in payments. I ignored it thinking maybe it was an error and a few weeks later we moved back home and I got another bill from them so I called and talked to a very nice customer service woman. I explained everything and she said "oh, no problem, I will take care of it and remove it from your account" I was happy this was settled but about a week ago I decided to order People magazine from PCH and what do you know, another bill for the mysterious items I never received came for me today saying it is delinquent and needs to be paid immediately. I guess because I ordered something I am on their radar or something. I am sorry but I have NO intention of paying for something I did not order. From the looks of the invoice it looks like something this crazy neighbor lady would have ordered KNOWING I was gone and just done it in my name and picked it up from my porch when it came, she's done stuff like that before >:(

I was charged 2 times for Southern Living Magazine. I ordered with another magazine that was sold together. I paid for them but they have a charge for another set of Southern Living Magazine and I don't need 2 dang sets and not buying for anyone else!

This is the second time I got an email saying I ordered something from PCH when I didn't. Last summer it was some kind of purse. This time it's earrings. I haven't worn earrings in over 30 years and have no one I would buy them for - my mother is deceased and I have no daughters or granddaughters or great-granddaughters. I have few female friends still living. Furthermore, I have no income that I can use to buy such frivolous items and I don't go anywhere anymore, anyway. I'm not sure if PCH is getting me confused with another customer or if they're just deciding I need to order something and figuring I'll pay for it even if I didn't. Or maybe they'll think I don't remember, lol. I REMEMBER. I have no income so I don't order anything, period. They can change that anytime by picking me as a winner and then I'll be happy to order something, although it won't be a purse or earrings, lol. Something should be done about this, though. By the looks of it, this is a regular occurrence with them. I'm almost afraid to enter any of the sweepstakes anymore, without taking a screen shot each time I submit an entry, that says "cart empty."

Moreover, when I called, the man said the item was $19.96. When I looked at the original email, it said $11.96 (I don't check my email every day, and so I missed both the order "confirmation" and the shipping confirmation until today). Where does that extra $8.00 come in? Not that it matters, as I cancelled the bogus order anyway, but still, it's suspicious. PCH is looking to be more and more like a company engaging in fraud - fraudulent orders, fraudulent billing, fraudulent prices, etc. And to top it off, when I called to cancel the order tonight and to tell them I never even ordered this item, I asked them who I could contact to make sure this doesn't happen again. They gave me [protected] for their online customer service and said it was open until 11 pm Eastern time. I called at 10:11 pm Eastern time - and got a recording saying it was closed and to call back before 11 pm Eastern time. Houston, PCH has a problem.

I was going through my emails today and noticed one from PCH for a confirmation of my order. I never ordered anything! I tried to call but they're closed. Tried to cancel the order but I don't have an invoice number. I would never order any of the cheap stuff from PCH and pay S&H. I rarely order anything online. I am certain that this isn't even a case of mistakenly ordering something because I almost ordered something from them once and when it came to the end of the submission, it gave the whole order information price, etc. I never got that from any of my online entries - instead, I get, "Are you sure you won't place an order?". Yes, I'm sure I won't place an order. Now I'm doubly sure. So sure, in fact, that I may place a call to the New York Atty General's office.

I got a bill for something called PEARL H & R COLLECTION. I didn't order it nor did I receive it. I don't even know what the heck it is. Sounds like jewelry & I DON'T ORDER JEWELRY ON LINE. THE amount says $32.45. To me that is a lot of money. We are on disability & if I was going 2 purchase jewelry I would go to the flee market & pay no more than $10.00 & it would not be pearls. I don't like PEARLS. I don't think I should have to pay for something I never received & don't even know what it is. I agree with TV. It says NO PURCHASE NEEDED, I DID ENTER SWEEPSTAKES BUT DID NOT ANYTHING. Whatever the problem is Y'all need to get it fixed.. TB

I have ordered in the past but suddenly I find I have a bill of 600.00 + I start looking over it all and there is a magazine subscription, I can't read Magazines I have to read by adjusting Font so why would I get a paper magazine, then I get Super glue for 18.00 ? hello.. I live a block behind a shopping center, store galore I can buy 10 brands of any kind of glue why would I order it via mail..Then there is the multiple items to a box issue each item has it's own express delivery charge, I got one item 6 weeks after order where is the express in that. Living on a fixed income and I am not an OLD old Lady I'm in my 50's Not Alzheimer's, but what if someone was and couldn't dispute the charges..This system needs multiple levels where something can be stopped, an email saying your order is shipped when you say WHAT ORDER and get the one you placed ! I didn't place one.. well your computer did... is my computer going to pay for it and use it? didn't think so and the stuff I supposedly ordered.. I bought frizbes when my son was young they have been my go to paper plate holders for over 30+ yrs buying what they show flimsy cut out plastic doilies, no didn't have a use for or desire for.. my question is there some way that the computer orders are generated when you look at an item, never ordered.. and for all the NO PURCHASE NEEDED, anyone but me getting the We need an order to show your desire to win, or placement position.. Orders Marked Return to sender have to be TAKEN to the post office, and shipped back. Not stopping my attempts to win SOMETHING, but not prepaying the small prize I'd probably get. Disappointed by not out of the count just yet.. will be working with customer service to make sure bill is correct and Items returned.. TV

I received an order of vitamins and kitchen utensils today that I did not order. This is about the third time this has happened to me. It is expensive to send these items back and I am not obligated to buy this. How can you help me so this does not happen again.
