PC Richard & Son refrigerator - invoice service notification for invoice: [protected]-001

Is now 10/23 and my refrigerator is still not fixed.

Every time I call, I get the same message that the part was ordered, but it is delayed. It is delayed indefinitely or what?...

I can't believe that the first time you ordered the piece it arrived in 1 week, but it arrived damaged.

I had to wait for your technician about 4 hours to came to the door to tell me that piece came in damaged. How is that possible to waist my time and the technician's time...

The technician assured me that he will reorder the replacement piece and rush it, but unfortunately 4-5 weeks and the piece still not here.. So much for rushing...

I don't understand how is this possible?

I think if it is so hard to get the replacement piece, it must really be something wrong with that particular piece.

When I called to ask when the piece is arriving, because no one gave me an ETA the customer service representative told me that the ETA is October 18. On October 19th I called again because nobody contacted me, I was told the new arrival date is October 26th. So if the piece is not arriving this week on October 26th as per my last conversation with customer service, I need my refrigerator replaced with a new one.

You have to understand that my food is frozen, instead of being cold, because my refrigerator have ice inside and is building more every day, so soon is turning into a freezer! I'm tired of waiting, something must be done about it and it must be done soon.

Also, last week I called and asked to speak with a manager, and they put me in hold for 20 minutes or more and no one came to the phone. I called again on the other line and it looked like they already knew who it was and they put me again on hold to wait for the manager for another 20-30 minutes..What kind of customer service P.C. Richards has?

I've been a customer of P.C Richards for the past 20 years, but I don't think I will ever shop there again and I will make sure to tell everybody that I possibly know about my bad experience with your company.

I had enough patience with your company and I'm going to take the next step to solve this problem.

I hope someone will call me as soon as possible with an answer.

Interesting complaint. Maybe the complaint isn't complete, but I wouldn't understand why a retailer would be responsible for replacing the fridge. Why not just try a different service center and see if they have the same difficulties?

PC Richard & Son lg dryer repair

I purchased an LG front load Dryer from the Enfield CT store back on Feb. 1 2017. The service tech showed up and looked at my dryer, and told me he would have to order the part. When he was talking to me, I could smell alcohol on his breath. He told me I would get a call when the parts were in and could schedule the service repair from there. Great! When I received the call, I contacted PC Richards service department and set up for Oct 7 2017 for my LG Dryer to be repaired. I waited around, and received a phone message later that day telling me the service tech called out sick. I called back to schedule another date for repair on my dryer, Oct 11 2017. I received a knock on my door from a repair man telling me that again my repair man "Dave" called out sick. I was not having any more of this game, and told the guy Dave's not sick, he has a drinking problem. Which he confirmed was true! Unfortunately the man did not have the part since it was on Dave's truck, but a new issue has since emerged. This service repair man told me he would order the additional part, and I would receive a call to schedule for delivery. I never received that call, and today I called Oct 16 2017 to find out what is going on. I am now going to the laundry mate to dry my clothing, when I have made a pricey purchase of owning my own dryer. I would not recommend this company for any future business for myself or anyone else. I was planning on buy a stainless steel refrigeration from them, but I have decided to take my 4 thousand purchase else where after all this aggravation! After all this, it is my recommendation that Dave check himself into rehab for his drinking problem, because it is affecting his work performance. Shame on you PC Richards for continuing to cover for an employee with an addiction!

PC Richard & Son samsung refrigerator

I purchased a Samsung refrigerator from the Deer Park store in late July. When it was delivered the left door and draw were severely damaged. I went back to the Deer Park Store and they faxed Samsung replacement parts that were needed. Samsung sent out the parts on August 7 to the Farmingdale Store and the Farmingdale store lost the parts. The end of August I called Deer Park and they refused to call Samsung for me saying they dont do that - all they do is fax the order. I called Samsung but they wouldnt talk to me because I wasnt the store. I finally called the Corporate Headquarters in Farmingdale and they said they reordered the parts on September 22 then it was September 25. It's now October 6 and they dont know where the parts are.
I've already made two payments on this refrigerator. Can anyone help me?
I'm disgusted with PC Richards and there Customer Service - they're attitudes are horrific and it's obvious they dont care about the customer!

RE: Customer Complaint /New Stove Request
This letter is a formal complaint and request to receive a new free range electric stove. If I cannot receive a completely new stove at this point I would like a full refund for the stove. I purchased the electric stove along with several other appliances on May 9th 2017. The first time the stove was used it resulted in a defect on the top piece of the free range stove. I was told by my sales representative that I had adequate coverage through PC Richardson to address any issues that may arise with the appliances. I spent a total of $2, 502.27 when I purchased the electric stove which includes other items.
I visited the PC Richardson at 2372 Broadway about 4-6 times to figure out a viable solution. I was told to contact the service center and they would be able to set up an appointment. After the service center set up a visit June 20th 2017, I was informed a new range top would be ordered and it would take 3-4 weeks. We never received a call back. On September 4th I was told by PC Richardson at 2372 Broadway that the issue would be addressed and I would receive a call September 5th. I received a call the next day, the person who called me said the new stove top arrived at the factory, also I should contact Yarga at 973.800.7172 to setup a time for the drop. I called the number several times, also I left voice messages nevertheless I still haven’t received a response.
It is now September 21st 2017, I still haven’t received any replacement and it’s going on 6 months with a defective stove. This is exploitive and no what quality of product I paid for. My tenants have been using a damaged stove now for close to six months. I’m not sure why this matter isn’t being taken serious, but this is a horrible customer service experience for me. This situation has caused me financial and emotional stress, and the staff at PC Richardson 2372 seems at most indifferent about the matter. I hope PC Richardson treats all customers fairly and equally.

bought a samsung refrigerator paid for delivery and installation delivery was done but no-one came for the ice-maker hook-up called them and informed not on invoice inform them that its on my receipt was told nothing could be done today went to store @elmont ny 11003 and spoke to manager ronald and was nothing could be done i even told him that the water for my kitchen had to be turn off but still did nothing i feel this was the store error not mine but they acted like tough sh..

it seems that pcrichards doesn't care after you paid for the item told them i wanted to cancelled the item but since i had it delivered it can't be cancelled

PC Richard & Son frigidaire

I purchased on august 8 3017 a new refrig with ice maker.. Delivered august 10 .
They installed a ice maker which i had to pay extra...On august 11 only a few pieces of ice.. I told my hubby. It must take time.. The next day the same thing..Repairman 8 15. Turn up the temperture no ice still 8 18 another man .. Defective hubby angry another installed still no ice sept 1 ...When the repairman put up temperture everything froze in refrig... Help... I live a busy life ... All my kitchen is pc richards.. Even my washer and dryer
but losing my faith in your products... Please help me with no ice... Make it good ...Besides it was not cheap... Over $1300 i spend on my new refrig... I told everyone that came too service it i bet it is a defective ice maker... Had a second one installed same thing... Why... It just might be a defective refrig... Please look into this ...It is a serious problem for me not you... Help

PC Richard & Son never deal with them again

in January I bought a tv from them. But I needed to repair it a couple of months ago and this took them too long. They left me without the tv for 3 weeks. Now its LCD is broken and they will take the tv away for 2-3 weeks again. I asked them for a temporal replacement, but they didn't care and were rude to me. I have to spend 3 weeks without my tv again.

PC Richard & Son air conditioner install

The contractor who was assigned to my residence destroyed my freshly painted basement and cracked my gas line. The contractor failed to clean his mess along with do a walk through of his finished product because he must have been embarrassed. Now I had to hire a company to come fix his mess and cost me more $$$$

PC Richard & Son air conditioner install

The contractor that was assigned to my home completely destroyed my basement! Not only did he ruin my freshly painted walls with the dust that he chipped from brick foundation, but he broke a gas line that was coming out of the wall next to where he installed the AC unit. To top it off he tucked the broken gas pipe inside the wall where it filled my house with gas. I do not know what to do? My house could have blown up!

PC Richard & Son customer service

I am totally disgusted with PC Richards Repair Service Dept. I purchased a GE Washer July 2016 and last month it totally stopped working. I had tech out on the 7/24. and I am still waiting for a part that is on route by turtle. I keep getting differant stories from numerous Consultants. I recieved/missed a call yesterday from a Mike Ward, I returned his call left a VM, no callback yet. I have sent emails to him & a Julio Acevedo, NO REPLY. I have been inconvenient without a wash mach for wks now. I already put a yelp complain and waiting for this to be completed so I will also be creating a Customer Complain with BBB & also PC Richads website. This customer service is totally unacceptable.

PC Richard & Son samsung washer machine

Horrible, horrible customer service! Almost 3 weeks to fix my washer machine. Part came in already 4 days ago and they still won't send someone to service me! All the customer service representives suckkkkkkkkkkk they are a bunch of liars. Liars. I will never buy another thing from pc richard's and son again! Y'all can keep your [censor] service. Why would I buy an extended warranty and you do not even service me on time.

Samsung washer machine pump broke after only a year of having this product. A person came to fix it from pc richard's and refused to fix it until it has the recall fixed. Had the recall fixed 2 days later and now pc richard won't send someone because it's not as important of a fix. It's important to me and that is what should matter. Terrible terrible terrible. I'm disappointed. My washer machine stinks with dirty 3 week old water in it my poor daughter has to smell this everyday. It's a health hazard and if anything happens i'm blaming pc richard's for their terrible service.

PC Richard & Son disaster terrible service from extended service protection agreement

Hello. My name is Sofia Katzab. I bought an ac model #WS12D30A. My invoice #[protected]. When i start using it i find out that remote control is not working damaged and missing drain nipple with tube. I called the store where i bought they said to call extended service protection agreement for what i paid a lot of money. I called few times send emails nobody never respond to me. Finnally i called again and was able to make an appoitment for 7/5/15l He came for 1 second said he will be mailed new remote control. He was in such a rush he did not pay any attention what i was saying and just left! I called few times and again email where is my remote control again no respond. I called yestorday wed. 7/12/17 and finnally spoke to Angie she put me on hold for about an hour came back that nothing was notify about to mail a remote control. I said why the person who came to my house did not request she said dont know! She said to me that she will call me by the end of the day and never did! Tell me why a loyal client like me and others has to suffer loike this with your terrible and disaster service for what i paid ? As you know there are other stores where i can get a much better service for my money! I am not asking for anything for FREE! Shame on you! I will say to all my friends relatives and coworkers about your store! 7/13/17

PC Richard & Son samsung french door refrigerator

Samsung refrigerator was ordered to replace a broken old refrig. It was delivered by PC Richards on June 24. It came in with a dent in the right door which was not seen until old refrig had been removed. Delivery drivers noted this on the invoice and told us that a new refrig. could be delivered and the dented door switched out since they had a hard time getting new frig into the door the first time. This sounded good. We went to the store this day to discuss our problem with our salesman. He put in an order for a new door which sounded okay to us. After a week, we had not received this replacement door. After several calls to the store having spoken to both our salesman and the store GM, we have not received a definite delivery date, only an estimate of maybe 2-3 weeks. In between, we have been given the run-around. We are the ones doing all the follow-up work, including calls to Samsung. Is this what PC Richards calls service and reliability and quality control that they always tout in their ads? I don't think so! We told the store GM that we were thinking of disputing the CC charge and he told us that they would just dispute my dispute. Not a lot of service on PC Richards part. This company does not seem very reputable. Quick to take your money and not deliver what is paid for, - a new undamaged refrigerator. It is now almost the end of the second week, and we still do not know when the replacement door will be delivered or if. Considering that PC Richards has been at fault from the beginning, shouldn't they be doing all the work and not us the customer?

PC Richard & Son ge washer toploader model gtw485asjws

Our objective for buying this washer on April 10, 2017 was for its extra large tub with the agitator. Although we do not have complaints about the features; I.E. The tub size, cycles, general "new" sounding operations of the product, our issue is the loudness of the final spin cycle. It is way too noisy for a new high efficiency product. Without exaggeration, it sounds like a jet coming in for a landing. The machine also goes off balance way too often. Our old machine of 17 years didn't even do that! I have contacted GE customer relations and started a case with them. I also put the phone next to the machine on the final spin cycle for the rep, and he could not believe it. We also have a case number with PC Richards Customer Relations dept.

A technician did come out and told me that the machine is running as designed! He said everything checked out. Although he was not that sympathetic to our situation; our guess is that he hears the same complaint about this washer all the time. He said, it's just a "noisy" machine! So my assumption is that I have to live with it?

I called the store, PC Richards in Wayne, NJ, where we purchased our washer and dryer, explained our situation, and the sales rep said, well we don't have the policy of "trying" out appliances and returning them. Is that the answer that I was looking for? I (we) are not the customers that try to get over...but we do expect the products to work satisfactorily. With that, I will be returning to the store today with a complaint to them about attitude and customer service.

Apparently, this is a "buyers" remorse situation that we would like resolved. In my eyes the resolution would be to take the washer back. My intent is to pay the difference for a new washer. We are looking at the front loaders now, with hopes that this appliance will work to satisfaction.

We live in a townhome and share walls. Although we do have a laundry room, we are sure that our neighbors hear the spin cycle of this machine. We would like to be able to wash clothes when we want without that concern.

I have my third call in to GE and PC Richards customer relations departments and awaiting a call back with a resolution. We are not asking for the impossible here...however we would like this situation to be rectified appropriately. We buy all of our appliances and TVs from PC Richards and would like to see the customer satisfaction that the company stands by. If not, then unfortunately, we will not be returning to PC Richards.

PC Richard & Son friedrich air conditioner

On 6/12/17 I purchased a 15, 000 btu Air Conditioning unit from the Nanuet, NY PC Richard Store. Included with this purchase was installation. We were fortunate to have a delivery the next day. As specific delivery hours could not be provided, I had no choice but to take the afternoon off from work to await for the delivery.

Once the unit arrived, I was advised that the unit could not be installed due to rain. (Note that NOAA records confirm it rained a total of 15 minutes on this date). The delivery crew placed the AC unit on the floor in the center of my bedroom and advised that I would need to schedule another crew to perform the install. After calls to the Nanuet store, and even a visit to speak directly with the store manager, I am still unable to get any confirmation that this install can be completed with the need for me to loose another 4 hours of work...even the cable company can promise better than this.

To date this issue remains UNRESOLVED.

PC Richard & Son frigidaire air conditioner

I purchased a 15, 100 BTU Frigidaire Window/Wall Slide Out AC on February 18th. I purchased a 2 year warranty with this item. When I bought it, I was not told installation would cost $200 so I had it installed by someone else. The AC was working when I had it installed. In May, I tried to turn it on and it did not work. I called PC Richard and scheduled a service on May 18th. They outsourced this to Father & Son. Two gentleman came to my apartment and could not figure out what the issue was and would not remove the AC from the wall since they didn't install it. Also, one guy kept insisting it was a window AC and I bought the wrong unit. They told me I had to have it taken out of the wall for them to look at. They did not give me any paperwork even though I asked them for it. I had my installer come back, take it out of the wall, then scheduled another service for June 6th. They came again and said they needed to order a part and would call me the next day to come back and put in the part. I received no phone call from them the next day, and had to call back several times before I spoke to a live person (Joann at Father and Son). As of today, June 14, 2017, they still do not have the part and do not know when they will. I called PC Richard directly today and they were of no help either.

PC Richard & Son gallery refrigerator

I have spent easily over $30, 000 in the last 5 years at PC Richard. After spending over $2, 000 on this refrigerator, relatively quickly the refrigerator is having problems. The freezer ices up in the back causing the refrigerator (up top) not to cool. Result? hundreds of dollars of spoiled food. We have had several service visits, 4 thus far where the y come and claim its repairable. The fact is they did nothing. I unplugged the fridge each time taking 2 days to defrost. Then a month later it freezes up again. Serviceman comes and its the same shenanigans. Soon my warranty will expire which is what PC Richard wants. When can we hold these gangsters accountable.

PC Richard & Son my refrigerator lg

Dear Mr. Richards,
I have been without a fridge for a month. April 20. It's May 18 and still not working after guys came out about 5 times to attempt to fix it. It's 2.5 years old and it shouldn't die completely. Techs got electrical charge twice while working it. When you call customer service they give you false info and messsgrs get mixed up. I bought it with a warranty and they are saying someone called and cancelled. I'm getting a lawyer and putting it on news. Give me a new fridge. Never buy again from your amateur tech company. Nobody knows what they are doing.

PC Richard & Son oven purchase and installation

To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing to inform you of an experience I had with your company in an effort to order an oven and have it delivered and installed. My expectation was that this would be a simple task to fulfill and I have remained pleasant and patient through the process but am appalled by the poor communication and fulfillment executed by your personnel and the company contracted to complete the installation. I have worked many years in customer service and am quite familiar with the standards in which to abide to ensure complete customer satisfaction. While I can forgive one error from being made, you will see below that there were a series of mistakes and lapses in communication to which your company failed to deliver.

Sequence of events
4/21: I went into PC Richards store in Union, NJ with measurements for a new wall oven. I was told it would take 2 weeks to fulfill the order as it was considered a special order based on the dimensions.
5/9: The special order oven was damaged upon delivery.
5/10: I went into the same store and requested a new unit. I was told it would be an additional 8 weeks as it was a special order. This is 6 weeks longer than the original order took to fulfill. Instead, I was offered a credit for the damaged unit which I accepted as I was assured it would be tested (by PC Richards personnel) and confirmed to be in working condition at the time of installation. The installation was scheduled for an appointment on
5/13: 1st appointment for installation. I called as no one had contacted me about a time-frame or to confirm the installation. I was put on hold 4 times and was asked to call back later. I refused. I was told my installation appointment was, “not on the books”. In other words, there was no scheduled appointment.
5/14: The oven installation was fulfilled after the original appointment was missed/never scheduled. It had not fit, although we provided exact measurements, resulting in a need to cut our cabinets costing an additional $200 from what we paid originally.
5/15: The oven was tested by tenant and was not functioning. I called for service and was told the installer was leaving and was provided his contact number. I was told I’d receive a call back to schedule an appointment. I had not received a call and am still waiting. I called the number provided [protected]) and was told I’d receive a call within 2 days just to have my call returned, let alone schedule an appointment.

I anticipate with this communication to receive a phone call with resolution to this situation as soon as possible so this matter may be addressed in a timely manner. I appreciate your time and look forward to hearing from you.

PC Richard & Son refrigerator

I purchased a refrigerator from PC Richards (PCR) almost 4 years ago and have had nothing but problems... PCR has been to the house over 15 times and charged me hundreds of dollars for the first few visits and the problem persists... They stopped charging me after the 7th or 8th visit but still have not fixed the issue...

I have spent hours of time and the cost of not working as well as hundreds of dollars in lost food and PCR does not care... They now state they KNOW IT IS A SAMSUNG PROBLEM and have referred me to SAMSUNG... washing their hands of it even though I bought it from them.

I asked why they still sell the product knowing it does not work and they know it has the problem with the ice maker and temperature control and they said they have to to compete... SO... PC RICHARDS is knowingly selling a product they know does not work... THIS IS FRAUD... PC RICHARDS IS KNOWINGLY PARTICIPATING IN CONSUMER FRAUD.

I will never use them again and make sure anyone I speak to is aware and tell them not to use them...
