PC Richard & Son [protected]

I ordered mattresses & electric frame 2 weeks ago, the delivery was scheduled and showed up on september 8th, the correct mattress was sent, but a one piece frame was sent that would not fit up my stairs. The salesman never asked if I lived in a one or two story house and the delivery men said that for a two story house a two piece frame is normally needed.

Delivery was rescheduled for sunday the 16th. The delivery men unboxed the frame outside brought in the two pieces and then discover that they were given duplicate pieces (a & am not a&b). They set-up the pieces so I would have a place to sleep but the unit is not functional (cannot be raised, lowered etc).

After several phone calls i'm now being told that I need to send them proof of what I have, and locate a model number or proof of what I have they can't do anything on top of which i've had to take down art/photos off stairway, move furniture for access, move storage bins & have company coming on saturday. I'm told that even if they can get this mess straighten out that they are not able to confirm that they won be able to prioritize delivery for 1st thing saturday.

I do not think that it's too much to expect that after all this inconvenience and my wasted time that this will not be able to be accommodated. I cleared two days to be home for deliveries, I have commitments the next two weekends that I am not able to change, nor do I think that should need to. I'm hearing, it's not my job, I can't guarantee it, as it may not be convenient for the delivery service. What about my convenience, how much of your customer's time is expected to be wasted?

I have been dealing with pc richard of 30 years and have recommended to many people, but based on this experience I am ready to say just come back and take it all away and i'll take my business elsewhere.

PC Richard & Son i'm complaining about my frigidaire fridge

MY name is Akm Islam.My fridge serial No# 4A52724607. Model No# FGHC2331PFAA. I'm really suffering with this fridge very badly. Couple of times they service my fridge but the problem getting worse day by day. Now I want to replace my fridge anyway. I'm not getting any better service from it. If I put any Foods& Fruits in fridge they are bad in 2 days

PC Richard & Son returns

I ordered a crisper draw that broke. I was told that the front cover did not come with it. I told the girl I think the original one was still good. This was order number 4720866. I was only off the phone 10 minutes when I released I needed the cover. I called back and wanted to add the cover plate to my order and was told I couldn't. So I placed the order for the cover now having to pay for 2 shipping orders, that was order number 4721132. When I received order 4720866 I didn't open it right away because I knew I needed to wait for the other piece. That piece was back ordered but they said we would get it in about 2 weeks. My husband said, It doesn't make any sense that it doesn't come together so he opened it. Inside the box was both pieces. So I assumed that they put the 2 orders together. This morning UPS came with the cover order number 4721132. I called Customer Service parts department back and told Linda Carenas I needed a return label and what happened. I didn't open the box at all because I knew what was in it. I was advised that you don't pay for return shipping. I said even when I was told the wrong information when I placed the original order. I when it Staples and sent it back UPS. I believe I should be reimbursement The whole order $134.23 as well as the $15.20 shipping charge to return it to you. My tracking number is 1Z6EA1350300023824 the expected delivery is 8/28/18. PC Richard & Son failure to manage air conditioning installation repair

The PC Richard upper west side store #64 at 2372 Broadway in NYC sold me 4 air conditioners in recent years. One was installed in 2017 and installation required repair a year later. Installation fix was scheduled for 15 August, invoice [protected]. Several emails from PCR explained what I had to do to receive the repair people, all was done. I even obtained use of a COI from PCR prepared for another apartment in the building to save the trouble of producing one for my repair. Management company, doorman and adult son were all pending this service call. A phone message on my cell at 9.47am said they could not reach anyone on the phone numbers they had and I should reschedule. There was no requirement that I answer the phone, I am at work. The service people must enter the building and speak with the doorman, the invoice for my purchase/delivery always indicates doorman building. Called store and service line - long periods on hold, then was told the driver entered building, found no doorman, went to apartment and got no answer. I suggest this is a lie, as the doormen are 24/7 and have closed circuit TV tape to show that no one walked past their desk. My son never left the apartment. Julio, manager at store, told me they would return to do the job before 3pm. No servicepeople ever arrived. Then things got worse. Called the store and was told Julio was on lunch, at 3.30pm. Yet he did get on the phone, asked who it was, and hung up. I called back, again the person who answered disconnected the call. Called a third time, got Jeremy, he asked who I was waiting to speak to, and when I said Julio, he also hung up. Finally on my fourth call, Libbie - Libanesa Olivero, a manager, took the call and tried to find the dispatcher. While on hold over 20 minutes, someone from service center came on the line, thought I was Libbie, and told me the serviceman was at home and never said he would be there before 3. Libbie was still on hold and unable to get this same information. Libbie must now obtain a new COI, reschedule with me, and someone in my family must miss work to wait again for this minor repair. The salesperson on this sale was out today, clearly no one works when not getting a commission, so there was no back up for him in the store. My complaint is targeted at Julio who lied about the service call happening before 3, refused to take responsibility and follow up, and twice hung up on my call, and jeremy, who also refused to address the issue and also hung up the phone. I will never be a repeat PCR customer.

PC Richard & Son service request for my 2 yr old refrigerator

Today is Saturday and my refrigerator has not been working since last week Friday so it has been 8 days now, after calling to get them to expidite we got an appt for the Tues, my husband waited all day and the tech came at 5:00. Tech had to order part which would take 3-5 days and suggested be call the next day to expedite. I called the next day thand customer service rep said he had the shipping expedited so it should arrive Fri and he scheduled a tech for Saturday ( today) I asked to be the first stop due the inconvenience and he said he will try. Thursday they called to say the part arrived and scheduled a tech so obviously my Sat appt was not in their system. My husband got them to get us in on Sat instead of next Tues. I have made 6 calls to day to try to get an update and get the tech in early since I have a previous engagement for 3:00 and neee to the grocery etc to prepare. It is now 2:30 and I am still stuck in the house because one supervisor said the tech is in Montclair and they got him to switch things around and I am next so they should be here within the hour, it's been two hours. At 1:00 I got a text saying they would be here soon and a link to track the tech. He was in Nutley, then Belleville, now in Bloomfield but not at my house. I called back they said he is two blocks away on a big job and he will come after so I guess all ththe calling to get the time slot or 3-6 was a waste because by the time he gets here it will be after 3:00. I wasted my money getting a warranty with PC Richards I should have just put it in the PSEG worry free contract like my other appliances

PC Richard & Son service department

I have purchased all of my appliances from pc Richards and all but 1 has had to be serviced multiple times and one had to be replaced. Two of my appliances are from manufactures that pc Richards does not service with own employees it's subcontracted out to another company, which I was not told when I purchased these appliances from Bosch and Bloomberg. My Bloomberg dishwasher has not worked right from the beginning, I have to wash my dishes before putting them in or they won't clean right. It also has rust marks after only having for about 2 years. I am frustrated because for the 4th time of my Frigidaire refrigerator being serviced I have to have another rep from a different company come in to service my dishwasher which could mean that I need to be inconvenienced by taking more time off of work for things that are only 2-3 years old and should not be constantly breaking down. I was told by pc Richards rep that appliances are not made well anymore and they break down after only a couple of years which is absolutely unprofessional and a ridiculous excuse to tell an unhappy customer. I will NEVER buy from pc Richards again and I urge everyone who does to read all the fine print and if your going for a Bosch, Bloomberg, Viking, Miele, etc DO NOT buy from them as you will have to be directed else where to service any of these high end appliances.

PC Richard & Son ductless air conditioning unit installer

I purchased the Friedrick ductless air conditioning unit in April 2018 and Kay the Salesman advised I can install the unit in the front of my house and run the piping to the side of the house. When Brendon the installer arrived he told me it couldnt be done and that I shouldn't of been advised differently. Honestly, it was obvious the installer didn't want to do the extra work and convinced me to put it where I didn't want it. After a lot of back and forth and leading me to believe the salesman was contacted they installed the unit where I didnt want it. Once everything was completed, the installer told me I should receive a refund as the work wasn't as intense. I contacted Kay and he told me the installer should of did what was instructed and I am not getting money back. Kay came back to my house to look at the installation and advised they can come back and put the unit where we originally discussed. He also discussed a pump that can be installed through my attic. After weeks of back and forth I was advised nothing could be done and I was never told the pump could definitely be installed. I asked if I paid for the pump could it be done and never received a response. I called customer service and nobody ever returned my call. I have the text messages from Kay the salesman and myself. I am extremely disgusted over this experience and the way I was treated and the unprofessionalism from both parties was awful. The manager never called me and I was told to call him which isn't how customer service works. I was a loyal customer to PC Richards buying all my appliances for my condo and house from. Unfortunately, I will NEVER purchase another item from this store or will anyone from my family. My experience was less than a zero.

PC Richard & Son whirlpool washing machine

We had a washing machine that was under warranty and the damper messed up and you guys came to fix it and 4 months later the same thing happened but now the warranty had expired and now they want 145 just to diagnose a problem that was just fixed by you guys 4 month ago. It's ashame that something that was suppose to be fixed can mess up so fast. The machine isn't even used that mush

PC Richard & Son samsung refrigerator

The refrigerator is only 4 years old and I have already had 4 service calls for the same issue (ice build up which causes the fan to make a lot of noise when it hits it) and cooling system shut down, which caused me to throw out a lot of food. Parts have been ordered once again, and I just received a message that they are delayed; so, my family and I have to endure this noise even longer. WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS COMPANY? I have purchased all my appliances here for the last 25 years, but will no longer.

I have/am having the same problem right now, we tossed food away a couple weeks ago, wasted a day waiting on service tech... and PC Richards wants to schedule another service tech, wasted an hour talking to customer service yesterday, told them I need a time when they would come, not a window to waste another day. They agreed on a weekend day and would follow up with a call, what did they do... schedule a week day tech visit and sent the notice via text and email, also, with no time specified... great job PC Richards

I was at the paramus store on June 28 and I purchased a macbook pro 15inch with apple care, a case and everything. I couldn't see the laptop until i opened the box because it was a brown box. The next day i opened the box and It was a completely different laptop then the one i was told i purchased. Vincent was the sales man who helped us that night and when we called the store to tell them, vincent lied and told them that we changed our mind at the last minute. If we changed our minds, i would NOT have bought a case, apple care and word for the 15inch. Mike evans spoke to us and supposably ordered a laptop (13inch) for an even exchange. I have been going back to the store and calling to see if it's came yet and it has not. i called this morning and spoke with the store manager, Pat, and he told us that it was going to take to much longer and it was too much of a hassle to deal with and for us to return everything and buy it at another store. This store is VERY unprofessional and i am not happy. i come to this store for everything and for the service to be this horrible, i will not be returning. I would like you to let me know what you guys will be doing about this matter. The Sales men and managers do not deserve the position if they aren't willing to help their customers in a nice manor.

PC Richard & Son salesperson 7233 david

I purchased flat tv on line not realizing that I needed to purchase the same model but a "smart tv". I returned it yesterday at the 86th and broadway, ny store. I told david that I wanted the same model but with smart tv. When I told the tv out of the box, instead of being black which is what I ordered, it is white.in addition one of the assembling parts is missing which means that this tv is not new the bag that the parts come in was stabled to close. Now I have to go back to the store to get the part before I can set-up my tv. I hate it being white, but I am 73 years old with cancer so I cannot lug a 32" tv back and forth to pc richard.

I am very disappointed with the service.

Our family asked for a refrigerator that didn't require a water pipe or an ice maker. We purchased this refrigerator for 1, 250.72 with sales counselor 8585 Mohammed. The counselor didn't clearly explain the process of installing a fridge. When the refrigerator was delivered, it was defective. We also was told during the delivery that there was a 95 dollar charge for changing the water line. I'm very disappointed with P.C Richard. I'm a regular customer here and I buy all of my electronics from here. This is the first time we've had problems and I'll be satisfied with compensation by waiving any installation fees or otherwise we will take our business elsewhere. Thank you for your cooperation

PC Richard & Son service

I've been trying to get my refrigerator fixed for over a month and it kept being delayed . i called and a worker came for 3 minutes and said he needed to order a piece that would take 5-7 business days to come I understood and waited after the days had passed I called back and they had no idea that anyone had even came let alone ordered the piece I needed so I had to wait another 2 weeks it is now over a month since my refrigerator was not working, someone finally came today and partially fixed the refrigerator he had both parts that he needed but only did one he said " I don't have time to fix this " his exact words and left . Not only am I not being reimbursed for the food I lost but I have to wait even longer to get my refrigerator fully fixed . This is the worse service I've ever received in my life

PC Richard & Son laptop delivery

I placed an order for apple MacBook Air #[protected]) on 4/25/2018 and the delivery date was supposed to be on 4/30/2018, on 5/2/2018 I contacted customer support and I was told that it will be shipped that day and I should get an email with tracking information, until 5/4/2018 I haven't received an email with the shipment informations neither any updates or follow up from customer service so I asked for my order to be canceled since it's already had been 10 days
Asia from customer service said to allow 3 to 5 business days for my credit card to show the funds back to my card
I would have appreciated a little more concern and maybe an apology for the inconvenience.

PC Richard & Son fisher & paykel dishwasher

Last year, my husband and I decided to splurge and buy this double drawer model. We purchased it on March 10, 2017 in the Danbury, CT location. Because it was an expensive purchase, we chose to purchase the extended warranty at an additional cost.

When the installers came to install the dishwasher, they did not know how to install the drawer model. So, we had to wait 3 weeks for someone else to come and do it. Also, we noticed when the dishwasher first came, there was a dent in the front panel and the toe kick was missing. They said this would be taken care of. After waiting a number of weeks without hearing from PC Richards, I called the store. I spoke to same manager who helped us, and he said he would look into it. Then he got back to us and said the parts were being ordered and that they would contact us. The toe kick was eventually delivered, but then we had more problems because they were supposed to come back and install the front panel and toe kick together, but they never got back to us that the front panel was in. After repeated calling and getting no answers, I finally gave up trying to get these parts--the dishwasher still worked with the dented front and missing toe kick, but I was extremely disappointed spending all that money for something defective.

About a month ago, our top drawer started leaking water, and when the service guys came out they said the hose needed to be replaced. That was on April 14th. When the part came in, we then made an appointment for the service visit for today, May 4th. It was difficult living without a dishwasher for that long (3 weeks).

We got a call last night from PC Richards confirming our service visit for today, May 4th between 11:00 and 2:00. When no one came I called to see what was going on, and I was told by the service department that they called and left a message earlier in the morning saying they have the wrong part --they left a message saying they wouldn't be coming today. We were home
the entire day, no call ever came or message was left.

I then spoke to numerous people, who told me that a new part has to now be ordered, and when it comes in we can set a date for installing. I asked to set a tentative date now, because I just can't wait much longer for a working dishwasher. We also still don't have the front panel.

The whole experience has been so frustrating--having to continuously contact PC Richards for any info...rather than them getting back to us. We have never had this kind of experience before with other retailers.

I do know that this whole experience has made me realize that I will never buy anything again from PC Richards, nor would I recommend them to any friends or family.

PC Richard & Son sale of a smart tv that is not smart

My husband and I purchased two Sony Bravia 4K Smart TV's on Black Friday 2017. At the time we advised the sales man that we wanted a 55"and a 70" tv top of the line smart tv, that would be compatible with Alexa and other smart devices throu Bluetooth and wifi. We spent almost $3000 total on both these televisions. After the holiday we purchased the Alexa device only to discover neither television can connect to Alexa because neither tv has Bluetooth. We called the local store where we purchased them and were told we can exchange them for an additional $800 each? I'm sorry but seriously? That's $1600 for both televisions on top of the $3000 we already paid. I can but the new version of the Bravia 70" for $1799 according to the Sony website. This is wholey unacceptable. I've been doing business with PC Richard and Sons for over 30 years and my father for probably 30 years before that. We have never experienced such poor salesmanship and service from your store. I would have expected the manager to offer a better solution then pay the store another $1600 to correct their salesman's mistake. But in these days and times the consumer has to beware of even well established trusted stores because there is no such thing as customer service.
I expect something to be done to rectify this situation to my satisfaction in a timely fashion.

PC Richard & Son samsung 2dr/bottom freezer - model#rb197acrs - freezing food in refrigerator

My complaint is the numerous times (twice) that the same part had to be replaced- considering the cost involved.

Refrigerator was purchased in Feb of 2011. I am very happy with the refrigerator, but this is the second time in two years I've had to replace the cooling/evaporator. The first time was in 2015 and 2/2018.

The refrigerator works well, but does this mean longevity of part is good for two/two-half years.

PC Richard & Son total disregard to my family time

My LG refrigerator was not freezing thus arrangements were made for the technician to replace I believe with freon gas. This was determined by the first diagnosis. I took a day off from work on 2/22/18 resulting in cancelation by the customer service agent who informed me that techncian didn't showed up for duty and because of that i've been given a $50 gift certificate for the inconvenience. They made an arrangement for 2/24/18 between 8am and 6pm on 2/23/18. At about 8pm on 2/23/18 they called my cell and my wife cell and confirmed they'll be here between 7am and 11am. I've again re-adjusted my family life to accommodate the technian, , No problem with that. I just received a call indicating they will be here between 5:30pm and 6pm as we are last to be seen after being canceled on 2/22/18. I've been a loyal customer for over a decade with PC Richards and just bought $2, 900. worth of appliances on 2/19/18. I'm very disheartened. Their contact # is [protected]. PC Richard & Son samsung refrigerator

After waiting 3.5 weeks for repair on my lg refrigerator, I requested and received a new refrigerator, the salesman suggested a samsung. I paid extra $! Was told the ice maker was "going to blow away the lg refrigerator. Well, I received the refrigerator, the delivery men installed the"wrong refrigerator "which had 2 dents in the refrigerator door. Only after they went back to their truck and were about to depart did they realize their mistake! They then installed the correct refrigerator? Well the brand new refrigerator has a jagged scratch along the side, the caps on the hardware we're cracked and not placed correctly looking very messy. Oh and the ice machine is so slow, I truly do not understand how this ice machine is"better". Let's hope for better response and service competency when I call customer service monday.

PC Richard & Son delivery of appliances

I had appliances delivered yesterday and the one delivery guy was completely unprofessional and very rude. He was yelling at the other delivery guy and when the other guy was putting the mattress in garage the rude delivery guy pulled the guy by the shirt and said no just leave it and let the mattress fall onto my work sheld. I have had many deliveries before and this my first by pc Richard and was very negative experience.
