PC Richard & Son customer service

Bought a new oven August 2nd. Wasn't working properly, service center was extremely rude and unaccomodating. Manager Mike was even less helpful. Service has been out twice and agreed that unit was installed improperly. It's now November and still have no oven despite harassing PC endlessly. Great prices, better hope nothing goes wrong and you need service.

PC Richard & Son nightmare oven

WE have purchased literally every appliance in our home for the last 14 years from pc richard. we never had any problems prior to this. So obviously we would go to them to get a new oven when our 12 year old one broke. We purchased the viking french door double wall oven. I used it 2x and each time my food burned on the top and bottom and the middle was not fully cooked. I tried both the top and bottom. On top of it the racks are impossible to pull out and put back easily. I also noticed that the doors didnt have a flush closure. I went to pc and told them its not working for many reasons and i would like to return it and buy a different oven. I was told to call service first. Pc sent out a service repair and the repairmen said that it was in fact not working, it wasn't heating up properly as well as other issues. When i called the service center not only was i met with the most obnoxious representative who refused to understand that if its not working than we received a broken one to begin with. We were told they are sending out a different repair company whose a certified viking repairmen. UMMM really why didn't you do that to begin with. When i called the first repair company to see what pc said, the first place said that PC accused them of corroborating a story with me just to get a new oven.WHAT! i literally couldnt believe what i was hearing. We called PC back and told them the minute a 14 year old customer has a problem we see their true colors. We had the next company come out that they sent and he pointed out the problems. it's been WEEKS since we've heard anything. I called today and was told the repair company hasnt written out a report and we have to wait for a part.WAIT A MINUTE, that means that the NEW OVEN was faulty to begin with? Why should we accept a couple thousand dollar oven that was broken upon instillation? and by the way the corporate manager refused to come to the phone when my husband and i tried talking to him. He literally put any other rep on. So here we are waiting on them once again, no working oven and 6 kids to creativly cook for. PC RICHARD go back into our history and tally up all the money we've spent with you over the years. you dont care but you've lost a valuable customer for life.

PC Richard & Son Frigidaire

I bought a fridge from pc richard and after 2weeks ice start build up in the freezer side door and the door when i called them to resolve it the send a technicains every week for 6 times n up to now never resolve the proplem i went back to the store all the manager did just a email to service dpt and im tired of every time i have to take day off all im asking is to change it, i dont really know what do next if you can help ill be very thankfull, thank u

PC Richard & Son woodbridge, nj store manager

Dear Potential Victims of P.C. Richards,

Many years ago, this company was something a consumer could value, trust, and depend upon. Not only does P.C. Richards provide substandard service, but the store manager of the Woodbridge, NJ store is heartless, unempathetic, rude, disrespectful, money-driven, and a downright bully.

Yesterday, I contacted P.C. Richards seeking help regarding a $2, 500 purchase I made in September 2018. I requested P.C. Richard's help in remounting my brand new television because I have to switch apartments and I'm not financially able to pay an additional $400 for the service since it's just been a couple of weeks. Furthermore, their wall mounting subcontractor took the television's box contents and original stand which will not allow me to place the television and Bose Soundbar on a television stand.

As I explained this unforeseen circumstance over the phone with the Woodbridge Store Manger, he constantly interrupted me and continued to SCREAM (on speaker) that "NOTHING IN THIS WORLD IS FREE HONEY" and that "I HAVE TO PAY THE FULL $400 REGARDLESS". Immediately, I was brought to tears and disconnected the call. I contacted the P.C. Richards Customer Service line at [protected] and spoke with T-Keisha, in tears, to explain what I just experienced and T-Kiesha said that I "have to speak with him" and "there's nothing that anyone else in the company can do to help me" and that I "am good".

Please take heed to my warning to not patronize this company and it's outdated claim of social responsibility, integrity, and reliability as they applaud the male chauvinistic conduct of its leadership.

PC Richard & Son ge washer/dryer

I have a stacked machine that is around 5 years old. My dryer has not been working for a year. At first, it worked sporadically, but now, it doesn't work at all. I put my clothes in and a few minutes later, the machine dings and stops. A GE repairman came multiple times and could not repair the machine. He left one day knowing the machine was not working but when GE was contacted, they said it was working. When the repairman came back and I asked him why GE would think it was working, he stated that he told them it wasn't working. Now, I feel as if I am going through the same ordeal with a PC Richards repairman. I've been taking time off from work and nothing is resolved. Today, when the repairman came, he said it was a 2 person job but PC Richards hadn't scheduled the 2nd person, so that was a bust. Now, I'm taking another day off. Parts are being ordered and replaced, and still, a non-working machine. I just want someone to say the machine cannot be fixed. I am hoping that since I still have 5 years left on my extended warranty, I can get a new machine, either for free or, at a discount, but now, it looks like I will spend the rest of the warranty with no dryer. This is service at it's worst.

PC Richard & Son beko refrigerator

I bought a beko refrigerator from PC Richard and son in deer park New York about one year ago. My refrigerator broke down almost 2 months ago At which point I called the deer park store where I bought this to let them know. I had also bought an extended warranty for 10 years on my fridge motor. Someone from their store advised me that the soonest appointment they had would be in about 2 weeks which I was not happy about but I had no choice But to wait. I had to toss all my food with having 5 kids its extremely extremely hard not to have a working fridge and freezer. 2 weeks later past by, the day that they were supposed to come out past I called the very next day only to be told who ever I spoke to never put the appointment in. At this point I was extremely infuriated But again I had no choice but to make another appointment which was another week out. Technician showed up spoke to someone in my house as I was not home he told them he needed to order parts bc the motor isnt working and he will be back the next week. A weekly later no one ever came I call to find out what's going on. I was told that they were not coming back out because the technician noted that I had a pest problem And in order for them to come back out I needed to show a report from a pest control company that the issue was resolved. Just to note I have absolutely no pest problem at all so this was a blatant lie I ask for pictures of the problem they said they would call me back since they claim they take pictures of everything and I asked why didnt the tech say anything to anyone in the house at the time I even Told them that the very next day that technician called me as he said he needed to come back to take another picture of the serial number because the pictures that he took or not clear. Again I personally spoke to the technician and seen him face-to-face when he came back he explain to me about him needing to order parts and coming back the next week never once did he ever mention anything else. Someone finally called me back the next day to let me know that they are now going to order parts and send a technician back remember this is a week later after the tech came out they are now ordering parts They gave me a date of 10/15/18 that parts were going to come in and they were going to come right out. October 15 came and passed not a single phone call guess I call back they said parts did not come in they are expecting it on the 19th they will be out on that day. October 19th came and past by no call still from anyone. Today is October 23rd 2018 still Not a single call from anyone I called the service department to ask dam yet again what was going on only to be told that day would give me a call back. It's going on 2 months later I paid close to $2000 for my refrigerator this is the absolute worse service in my entire life I have received from anyone this will be the last time I ever shop at PC richard and Son which is a shame I shop there all the time I will let everyone I know never to go to pc Richards and I will take this to social media to let everyone know how they treat their customers. Maybe post will help them improve their customer service. 5 kids single parent no refrigerator or freezer in nearly 2 months. My next day off is not until next Monday I will be going out today and purchasing a new refrigerator I just will have to take them to small claims court because I have given a reasonable amount of time to get my refrigerator fix. I have all my call logs to prove how long I have been following them over and over trying to get this issue resolved for 2 months at this point I cannot wait any longer.

My fridge is still not fixed I gave up on them. My schedule appointment they said they didn't have the tools to complete the job. 5 month no fridge after spending $2000 and buying and extended service warranty for 10 yrs . So much for valuing your customers.

Finally got in touch with someone found out parts came in but they can not come out until November 8th as this is there earliest appointment. My first call to them according to my phone records was September 5th 2018. Over 2 months, does anyone think this is a reasonable amount of this to wait.

I emailed Kevin since October 24th haven't heard back from him. Today is November 1st no call yesterday about parts coming in. This is absolutely ridiculous I guess I will have to call tomorrow yet again to find out when parts are coming in.

I Received a returned call today after I called earlier in the morning. They advise me I have to wait another week for the parts to come in. 10/31/18 2 months after my original call. This is the third time the date of when the parts were supposed to come in changed. This is absolutely Ridiculous.

WOW - I've had mine less than 4 months with two service calls and they haven't been able to fix it. I don't know if this is Beko or its technicians but I will NEVER buy another one again if they can't fix this.

PC Richard & Son laptop

Good morning Sir/Madam,

My name is Nadia and a customer of PC Richard for more than 10years. I have a problem that I thought I should bring to your notice may be it can be taken care of better than I was told.

I have been in this country for about 15years and PC Richard and Sons has always been a place my husband and I purchase everything we need for the family. I have never had any problem with my purchases and the customer service at my neighborhood as always been perfect. The first time I had a problem with my purchase was:

1. I bought a tablet for my kids and less than a year one of them was off and will not turn back on. I sent it back to P. C, after a week, I was told it could not be fixed so I was given my money back to purchase a new one. Thank you for that because I always buy my items with warrantee.
2. I recently purchased a printer for about $50.00 or more on sales, so I decided not to get warranty: I hold on to it until the 2nd week when I tried to install and it will not work. Being that is only 3 weeks without warranty, I took it back and was told after days, I have been given a new one because this is not good. Thanks again.
3. 2years and some months ago, I purchased a laptop for school, is HP 360 which was amazing and works perfect. As usual, I bought my 2years warranty for it. I never had a problem with it until last month when I tried to type a project and the computer will not turn on. I call P.C Richard at 440 Jersey City where I purchase most of my electronics and inform them of my laptop. I was told because my warranty is expired some few months ago, I will be paying $25 dollars to send it out to service and they will let me know how much to pay and get it fixed. I did take the computer to them on 10/04/18 and had a text response on 10/05/18 with this number: 58-14028 saying, your notebook computer has arrived at the service center and we will be assigned to the next available technician. Thank you.

Yesterday 10/16/18 I received a text with 58-14028 asking me to contact PC Richard regarding repair on my notebook computer. I called right away and the agent told me I needed to pay $700 and change to get it fix because my warranty is expired. I could not believe what I heard since buying a new one will be cheaper than fixing. I asked the representative, is this a strategy to tell me since my warranty is expired I cannot be help therefore throw it and buy another one? I am so disappointed with this because I have all my school work and all my graduation pictures on this laptop. She told me is up to me either to fix or purchase another one. I must admit, she was not saying it in a disrespectful manner though, I have to be honest. But this is not fair since this is the only store I go to for years and never give them any problem. Also, I do not have a problem buying a new laptop but my important documents are my worry. because most of them, I did not save on a flash drive.

For the years that I have been with PC Richard, this is the only time I have been displeased and will be grateful if I can get this PC fixed for a reasonable amount just because I have so much on it.

PC Richard & Son washer (whirlpool) (credit needed)

Washer was bought before two years, so many problems and finally PC richard told us they can't fix so they want to give us credit. i calling them since last three days, but all the representative giving us runaround. Nobody is taking responsibility, also when you can called them and tell them the name of representative you talked previous, they said nobody like that working here. that is ridiculous. i called the same number [protected]). all the Representative don't want to transfer to any supervisor. I make mistake that i bought from PC Richard. This is the worst customer service i have seen in my life. we don't have washer since last week and we kids and family, we need new washer as soon as possible.

PC Richard & Son washing machine

I scheduled a repair for my washing machine which I had to wait 4 days for a repairman to show up. The repair was scheduled today 10/12/18 between the hours of 8 am - 11 am. I received a call from the repairman at 7:45 am to which he stated that he was on his way. I waited and waited and at 9 am I called back the number from which the repairman called me from twice and received no answer. I then looked through my surveillance footage and noticed that he did show up at 8:08 am came to the front door and just stayed there for about 5min. He then left and took a picture with a tablet computer and then stayed in his truck for some time then pulled off at 8:20 am.
I called the repair center and they stated to me that he showed up and no one was home. I told them that I was home and my son was home. Why did he not ring the bell? Why would he not call me again stating he was here? They said that he's an hour away and will not be coming back and that I could reschedule. Just very strange and very bad customer service! I'm very upset and will not be using PC Richards again. I have been using PC Richards for many years and have bought all my appliances from them, but this is the first time I attempted to use their repair service to which I am appalled.

PC Richard & Son ge range

I am so upset, I trusted GE and I purchased your high end range three months ago. The first one, the broiler never worked, it was replaced by another one by PJ Richards, we had your extended warranty AND their warranty and it was the same issue. The GE Repairman told us NOT to use the oven, as it was not safe. THREE MONTHS and an extra $400 warranty and we do not have a working oven.

PC Richard & Son parts service, dependable

I ordered a brand new refrigerator in May, but it arrived defective. The door does not close, making the refrigerator non-functional. I called the PC Richard to fix the issue, and they told me to contact Dependable, their 3rd party company. Dependable came and told me they would order the part, it would take 6-8 weeks. This was my first issue - I have a non functioning refrigerator, and you are telling me 6-8 weeks? I wait two months and nothing arrives. I call Dependable several times, and they tell me the door isn't ready. Finally, at the end of September they tell me the door is ready and they can come in October. I make an appointment with Dependable, they inform me that the window is between 11-1pm. At 10:30am I showered, missing a phone call from them. i immediately call back, and they CANCEL my appointment. This is COMPLETELY INAPPROPRIATE. What HORRIBLE service. NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM PC RICHARD.

PC Richard & Son I purchased a nintendo switch for my nephew who lives in florida

On Friday September 28 I purchased online the Nintendo switch in red and blue and a Mario kart game because it was my nephews 6th birthday but the first one we spend a part it's not anyone's concer but it was a big deal for me for him to receive this items ASAP. Since I have been with PC Richards & Sons for over 7 years! I never had an issue so I asumes there wouldn't be a problem. But I received an email where I had to provide extra information o had no issue with that. When I called I provided the lady with all the information but one, where she asked me if I knew the address of where I lived about 4 years ago. I didn't remember the address by heart but I had it written somewhere I told her to give me a second she was extremely rude and stated that I only had a few seconds to answer the questions which I didn't mind what bothered me was the tone she said it with and she stated if you don't know where then just ask for next. Not realizing that I am confused she didn't explain why I have to answer the questions just stated I needed to provide extra information and annoyed because I want to do is have the item processed and shipped to my nephew ASAP she then stated that unfortunately I didn't provide enough information because I didn't answer one question right ? She then hanged up when I said May I speak to your supervisor I called again and then the lady stated I had to call my pc Richards credit card (the number on the back of the card) which when I called they had nothing to do with it. At this point i am beyond frustrated so I call again and i was told my order was cancelled when I never AUTHORIZED IT TO BE CANCELED ! So I was transferred to a manager CJ and he was also extremely rude when I am explaining what was going on he stated the girl that helped me was never rude, as a manager you shouldn't argue with the customer you should try and help the customer he stated that he can't do nothing to go to a store and order there. He was also extremely rude and these are the people who are here to help us customers. You should keep an eye on them because pc Richards will lose customers due to these people

PC Richard & Son your service appointment has been scheduled for 9/20/18 on your range, model# fggf3035rf.

On 8/30/2018 @ 0530 the glass door on my range, model# FGGF3035RF.
I called service & was given a 9/6/2018 apt between 12-1700.
Tech came looked at he door & said he would order the part. I told them what the problem was why didn't he bring the door?
I was then given a 9/20/2018 apt between 07-1200. On 9/20 appx 0915 I was notified the part had been sent to the wrong place & would be dropped off by 1000 for the tech.
I called service @ 1210 to inquire where the tech was as he was late & they said they would check and have him notify me
Very unprofessional stating service repair men are overworked, then hire more. Would NEVER use them again

When tech came almost 1 hr late, I asked him if he had a tarp to put down first. He asked if I had a towel as he was going to use the kitchen table to change the glass. I told him no, I'll give you a table in the garage to use. Setup the table and gave him a broom and dustpan to cleanup with. Also disposed of the box glass came in for him. Very unprofessional I know from doing electrical work in peoples homes for many years

PC Richard & Son [protected]

I ordered mattresses & electric frame 2 weeks ago, the delivery was scheduled and showed up on september 8th, the correct mattress was sent, but a one piece frame was sent that would not fit up my stairs. The salesman never asked if I lived in a one or two story house and the delivery men said that for a two story house a two piece frame is normally needed.

Delivery was rescheduled for sunday the 16th. The delivery men unboxed the frame outside brought in the two pieces and then discover that they were given duplicate pieces (a & am not a&b). They set-up the pieces so I would have a place to sleep but the unit is not functional (cannot be raised, lowered etc).

After several phone calls i'm now being told that I need to send them proof of what I have, and locate a model number or proof of what I have they can't do anything on top of which i've had to take down art/photos off stairway, move furniture for access, move storage bins & have company coming on saturday. I'm told that even if they can get this mess straighten out that they are not able to confirm that they won be able to prioritize delivery for 1st thing saturday.

I do not think that it's too much to expect that after all this inconvenience and my wasted time that this will not be able to be accommodated. I cleared two days to be home for deliveries, I have commitments the next two weekends that I am not able to change, nor do I think that should need to. I'm hearing, it's not my job, I can't guarantee it, as it may not be convenient for the delivery service. What about my convenience, how much of your customer's time is expected to be wasted?

I have been dealing with pc richard of 30 years and have recommended to many people, but based on this experience I am ready to say just come back and take it all away and i'll take my business elsewhere.

PC Richard & Son i'm complaining about my frigidaire fridge

MY name is Akm Islam.My fridge serial No# 4A52724607. Model No# FGHC2331PFAA. I'm really suffering with this fridge very badly. Couple of times they service my fridge but the problem getting worse day by day. Now I want to replace my fridge anyway. I'm not getting any better service from it. If I put any Foods& Fruits in fridge they are bad in 2 days

PC Richard & Son returns

I ordered a crisper draw that broke. I was told that the front cover did not come with it. I told the girl I think the original one was still good. This was order number 4720866. I was only off the phone 10 minutes when I released I needed the cover. I called back and wanted to add the cover plate to my order and was told I couldn't. So I placed the order for the cover now having to pay for 2 shipping orders, that was order number 4721132. When I received order 4720866 I didn't open it right away because I knew I needed to wait for the other piece. That piece was back ordered but they said we would get it in about 2 weeks. My husband said, It doesn't make any sense that it doesn't come together so he opened it. Inside the box was both pieces. So I assumed that they put the 2 orders together. This morning UPS came with the cover order number 4721132. I called Customer Service parts department back and told Linda Carenas I needed a return label and what happened. I didn't open the box at all because I knew what was in it. I was advised that you don't pay for return shipping. I said even when I was told the wrong information when I placed the original order. I when it Staples and sent it back UPS. I believe I should be reimbursement The whole order $134.23 as well as the $15.20 shipping charge to return it to you. My tracking number is 1Z6EA1350300023824 the expected delivery is 8/28/18. PC Richard & Son failure to manage air conditioning installation repair

The PC Richard upper west side store #64 at 2372 Broadway in NYC sold me 4 air conditioners in recent years. One was installed in 2017 and installation required repair a year later. Installation fix was scheduled for 15 August, invoice [protected]. Several emails from PCR explained what I had to do to receive the repair people, all was done. I even obtained use of a COI from PCR prepared for another apartment in the building to save the trouble of producing one for my repair. Management company, doorman and adult son were all pending this service call. A phone message on my cell at 9.47am said they could not reach anyone on the phone numbers they had and I should reschedule. There was no requirement that I answer the phone, I am at work. The service people must enter the building and speak with the doorman, the invoice for my purchase/delivery always indicates doorman building. Called store and service line - long periods on hold, then was told the driver entered building, found no doorman, went to apartment and got no answer. I suggest this is a lie, as the doormen are 24/7 and have closed circuit TV tape to show that no one walked past their desk. My son never left the apartment. Julio, manager at store, told me they would return to do the job before 3pm. No servicepeople ever arrived. Then things got worse. Called the store and was told Julio was on lunch, at 3.30pm. Yet he did get on the phone, asked who it was, and hung up. I called back, again the person who answered disconnected the call. Called a third time, got Jeremy, he asked who I was waiting to speak to, and when I said Julio, he also hung up. Finally on my fourth call, Libbie - Libanesa Olivero, a manager, took the call and tried to find the dispatcher. While on hold over 20 minutes, someone from service center came on the line, thought I was Libbie, and told me the serviceman was at home and never said he would be there before 3. Libbie was still on hold and unable to get this same information. Libbie must now obtain a new COI, reschedule with me, and someone in my family must miss work to wait again for this minor repair. The salesperson on this sale was out today, clearly no one works when not getting a commission, so there was no back up for him in the store. My complaint is targeted at Julio who lied about the service call happening before 3, refused to take responsibility and follow up, and twice hung up on my call, and jeremy, who also refused to address the issue and also hung up the phone. I will never be a repeat PCR customer.

PC Richard & Son service request for my 2 yr old refrigerator

Today is Saturday and my refrigerator has not been working since last week Friday so it has been 8 days now, after calling to get them to expidite we got an appt for the Tues, my husband waited all day and the tech came at 5:00. Tech had to order part which would take 3-5 days and suggested be call the next day to expedite. I called the next day thand customer service rep said he had the shipping expedited so it should arrive Fri and he scheduled a tech for Saturday ( today) I asked to be the first stop due the inconvenience and he said he will try. Thursday they called to say the part arrived and scheduled a tech so obviously my Sat appt was not in their system. My husband got them to get us in on Sat instead of next Tues. I have made 6 calls to day to try to get an update and get the tech in early since I have a previous engagement for 3:00 and neee to the grocery etc to prepare. It is now 2:30 and I am still stuck in the house because one supervisor said the tech is in Montclair and they got him to switch things around and I am next so they should be here within the hour, it's been two hours. At 1:00 I got a text saying they would be here soon and a link to track the tech. He was in Nutley, then Belleville, now in Bloomfield but not at my house. I called back they said he is two blocks away on a big job and he will come after so I guess all ththe calling to get the time slot or 3-6 was a waste because by the time he gets here it will be after 3:00. I wasted my money getting a warranty with PC Richards I should have just put it in the PSEG worry free contract like my other appliances

PC Richard & Son service department

I have purchased all of my appliances from pc Richards and all but 1 has had to be serviced multiple times and one had to be replaced. Two of my appliances are from manufactures that pc Richards does not service with own employees it's subcontracted out to another company, which I was not told when I purchased these appliances from Bosch and Bloomberg. My Bloomberg dishwasher has not worked right from the beginning, I have to wash my dishes before putting them in or they won't clean right. It also has rust marks after only having for about 2 years. I am frustrated because for the 4th time of my Frigidaire refrigerator being serviced I have to have another rep from a different company come in to service my dishwasher which could mean that I need to be inconvenienced by taking more time off of work for things that are only 2-3 years old and should not be constantly breaking down. I was told by pc Richards rep that appliances are not made well anymore and they break down after only a couple of years which is absolutely unprofessional and a ridiculous excuse to tell an unhappy customer. I will NEVER buy from pc Richards again and I urge everyone who does to read all the fine print and if your going for a Bosch, Bloomberg, Viking, Miele, etc DO NOT buy from them as you will have to be directed else where to service any of these high end appliances.

PC Richard & Son ductless air conditioning unit installer

I purchased the Friedrick ductless air conditioning unit in April 2018 and Kay the Salesman advised I can install the unit in the front of my house and run the piping to the side of the house. When Brendon the installer arrived he told me it couldnt be done and that I shouldn't of been advised differently. Honestly, it was obvious the installer didn't want to do the extra work and convinced me to put it where I didn't want it. After a lot of back and forth and leading me to believe the salesman was contacted they installed the unit where I didnt want it. Once everything was completed, the installer told me I should receive a refund as the work wasn't as intense. I contacted Kay and he told me the installer should of did what was instructed and I am not getting money back. Kay came back to my house to look at the installation and advised they can come back and put the unit where we originally discussed. He also discussed a pump that can be installed through my attic. After weeks of back and forth I was advised nothing could be done and I was never told the pump could definitely be installed. I asked if I paid for the pump could it be done and never received a response. I called customer service and nobody ever returned my call. I have the text messages from Kay the salesman and myself. I am extremely disgusted over this experience and the way I was treated and the unprofessionalism from both parties was awful. The manager never called me and I was told to call him which isn't how customer service works. I was a loyal customer to PC Richards buying all my appliances for my condo and house from. Unfortunately, I will NEVER purchase another item from this store or will anyone from my family. My experience was less than a zero.
