I have been trying to find a way to pay my bill online for the last three months, but the only thing I get in my estatement is the paypal website but the link on my account page on paypal has been removed! Plus they call at least 30 times a day! The phone calls start at 8:30AM on Sunday and go until 9:00 at night. I"m sorry but to me that is harassment! Make it easier for me to pay my bill and you wouldn't have to CALL ME AT ALL! I am so disgusted if I had a way to pay off my balance I would and I would tell everyone to never apply for Paypal Buyer credit because GE Money is a horrible place to have accounts at! I don't know what has happened to customer service but lately all customer service places I've been dealing with suck!

calling you more than once per day is definitely considered harassment, and is illegal. there are fines automatically via federal law i do believe, so keep a record and a journal, . Record the calls, tell them you are recording it too, and record with your phone answering machine memo or whatever. (do it hte legal way for your state's laws) use it against them to make them pay you for it. these are actually opportunities hahahaha! to stick them for a thousand here and there. go for it! everyone! find a lawyer that specializes in debt collectors harassmnt or consumer law, and financial creditors messing with people. they can accomplish stuff and the evil ones have to pay their atty fees too i am pretty sure.

please file complaints at the BBB (better business bureau); their parent co, ebay, has a fairly good record of dealing with complaints there. i think they want a good public rating.
then, file a complaint with the state of California (or whatever state they are in, see their tos) Attorney General, online. And the SEC, securities and exchange commission. They are obviously engaging in unfair business practices to scam you all out of late payment fees. Banks have taken to all kinds of trickery to do this lately. they have to have accessible means of payment and other fair practices. they have to disclose all their methods, terms, etc. beforehand. if there is nothing that says they don't have to send you a bill, that might be a violation too when they send none but then charge you late fees.

I closed my Paypal account a few months ago. Had it for a few years.
Didn't like them going into my account and taking money out without my authorization.
They did put it back, but I saw no reason for it as I wasn't using it for some time.

When closing that account, it also closed my Pay Buyers Credit.
I got an e-mail to that effect.
I didn't really care, I didn't need it anyhow.
But, now I can no longer pay my bill online.

They do not send me a statement for some reason.
They used to send statements prior to me paying online..
Now, I am forced to call and listen to their crazy menu that doesn't deal with anything you need, but keeps giving your balance, etc.

I managed to talk to someone on two different occasions and asked why am I not getting a statement anymore?
Does that mean I do not owe you anything?
Last month the girl swore I'd get a statement this month around the 5th..

What I got was 3 statements that have replacement statement stamped all across them.
The last one was due Sept. 28.
No current statement to pay my bill for Oct. which is what I tried to get through her thick skull.

I did send the payments on my own, but I do not understand why they do not bill me like a regular person would get billed.
Why should I have to call every month for the payment and due date, as it changes some months...
and then I have no stub to send with my check.

I have never encountered a company as weird as this.
Last time I asked to speak to a manager, the girl got huffy and said I didn't need to.

I feel like holding back my payments until I get a statement, but know they will ruin my credit
and charge me outrageous late payments. I actually think that might be what they are trying to do.
Hoping I will forget about it and not send in a payment on my own..
They could also say they were sending them all along and how could I prove they aren't?

So, I guess I am just venting.
But, am calling tomorrow and will demand a supervisor.

I tried your above link and it redirects you to the paypal website. Paypal is now in charge of handling the payments, so if you have more than one account, your screwed. So this didn't work. Thanks anyway

They suck Royal! I can't pay my bill thru paypal any longer because my husband and I have a joint checking account and the account number is on his paypal account. So I called paypal and they told me to mail it in. My bill is due on the 17th. I did online banking thru my bank, payment went out on the 10th, they just called me and told me they never received it. What bull! I gave them the confirmation number from my back of the payment, which has been deducted from my account but that's not good enough for them. Now, they tell me the only way I can pay them is if I mail it in, which I did, and they still haven;t received it? all my other bills got to their destination on time, only this one, hm, something doesn't sound right to me. Plus... read the small print. If you do online banking and you don't send them the paper portion returned to them, it takes them an extra 5 days to post it to your account, so, you need to mail it 10 days prior to the due date and now another 5 days prior to add on for that, that's over two weeks, WTF? Do they think I'm a damn bank? So, I have to make the payment before they even send me the damn statement so it's paid on time... Go Obama! Thanks for helping...;NOT

Paypal buyer credit sucks. They removed my link and I didn't know how to pay. Then when I attempted to call them to find out what was going on, they told me my account was being closed due to not paying. I only missed one month and that was because I couldn't log on! I am furious. Now they want me to pay everything but I can't even get into the site to verify the amount that they're charging me and they haven't sent me any statements. I would definitely join a class action suit against them. It's fraudulent.

Paypal / GE is the worst. The 2 day wait is crazy when they can process instantly. How is it that Paypal can process instant but the credit payment can't? Worse than that, if you pay out of sequence it will show that you owe nothing for the next payment but then when it comes due they hit you with a late fee anyway. Lesson learned, if you log on and it says the minimum payment is zero don't trust it. Also annoying is that you can't schedule more than one payment a day. I tried to schedule a few months out so I would not forget to pay but can only schedule one payment a day. Again, they could let you if they wanted to but it makes it easier for you to forget and them to collect another late fee. I could not find a way to schedule an automatic payment each month either. I don't know that I would say it is a scam, I didn't have to sign up for this, but I certainly would never deal with GE money again.

I too was unable to locate anyplace on line to view how much I owed them or to send on-line payment. They stopped billing me months ago and then socked me with a huge "pay now" bill. Although ultimately my responsibility I am getting scammed. What a great way for GE to make money. Are there any law suits out there that I can join? Cheryl

Thank you. This was very helpful. I was finally able to pay online. Anyway, since it must be 2 days from today's date and today is the due date, it shows already that I will be getting charged $35.00 for a late fee.

Really, they need to fix the link for us on PayPal.

I found out how to get into the site online. You must be logged into paypal and then you go to http://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=xpt/Marketing/buyercredit/BCMKTFAQ-outside and go down to where it says Apply.
Then hit Click Here under Apply. It will say you're already an account holder and a little pull down box will be on the side that says More Credit Tools. Go to View Payments and then it will log you into GEMoney site through paypal and let you make a payment. I just paid the whole thing off so I don't have to mess with it anymore.

Paypal Buyer Credit - GE Money

I have been using Paypal and Paypal Buyer Credit for long time, I usually paid in advance 10 days and pay full amount all the times. Couple times, I forgot until 1 day due, so I went online and paid it but was not able to because GE Money don't allow me to pay 1 day in advance, it has to be more than 2 days. I got late fee, but I thought that's OK. Six months later, I paid on time, but GE Money lower my credit limit that cause my credit score lower. So I did what I did to get some of my money back. Here is how: I have almost $500 balance, since GE MONEY did that to me causing my credit score lower, since that day on, I PAY GE MONEY Zero dollar and Zero dollar to all my credit card companies. Why? Because since GE Money did bad to my credit, why should I care about GE MONEY and other credit card companies, and why should I care about my credit if credit card companies don't care either. If other credit card companies want good payment from me, they should help me or us (consumer) to shut down GE MONEY. That's my story. I think if GE MONEY did that to millions of account holders, they will cause millions of account holder bad credit. So why not fight back. Pay them Zero, so with millions of account holders with billions $$ in balance, they will get zero back, then they will die by itself.

I have the same problem! Just tried paying bill online and its not working the page is just blank white! I checked my networking services and they are fine. This is rally crazy and on their bill it does not specify any other website or directions on paying for the bill another way. Sometimes, it makes me wonder; if they are this unloyal and disrespectfull towards their customers, are they as safe to work with as they say? Irresponsibility and carelessness can lead to...big safety issues...remember theses are personal accounts we are dealing with?

I am having the same problem. Haven't received a bill in awhile and cannot find a way or place to login to the site. I can't make personal calls at work and not sure what to do. I'm sure to have a late-pay penalty. I may be able to pay in full if I can find a way to pay. Need to dig around for older copies of the bills at home.

BTW, I don't have this problem with *any* other creditors. What a scam.

I hate them and I am paying it off as fast as I can because of everything you said plus the 2 days waiting period for payments and the fact that it is MAY and yet the last statement I can look at is from February. I hate them.
