Payment Of Microsoft Winning Fund (By Barclays Bank) / Fraud

1 United States Review updated:

It starts with this email, then the next one tells you that the Barclays-Bank Plc. will be intouch with you for a wire transfer. It also sends a document for you to fill out. I replied to the email asking if it would be better for me to set up an account with them instead of sending a money transfer, I have not heard back from them.

They have changed their strategy. Now they are saying that they (Barclays Bank) has to send the cheque to the GB IRS to be stamped and then it will be returned to them and they will send it DHL to my address. I will be interested to hear if they run into difficulties and need some info on bank accts, SS #, etc to complete the transaction.
