Payday Loans / / Beware - it's a rip off!

1 United States Review updated:

I applied for a pay day loan which is a bad thing in itself. Somehow one of the payday loans had a "Joint Agreement " with a card support that if you get one you get both. The catch is that if you don't get the loan you still pay 31.98 for the card support. This is really stupid because if you are trying to get a loan, you don't have money in the first place, but you are still charged $31.98. I think payday loans should be banned all they are is a scam to put you further in debt. Whoever started them should be put behind bars for taking advantage of the economy.

I got suckered by this company and I did not even complete the application! How's that for a scam! I had my bank dispute the charges, my bank credited my account, I put in a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and FTC and now Card Support is calling me to refund my money as well. So it pays to fight not just complain to the company. I told CardSupport I was going to file a police report and complain to all the organizations and I did just that. I think that was enough to figure it wasn't worth the $31.98 in my case. Also be careful, they continue to charge that amount, so make sure you cancel, but also read the fine print, they also charge you for early termination. Do what I did, close your checking account and get another!
