I took out a loan on 11/28/08 for $750.00. Then refinanced and borrowed an extra $375.00 on 1/15/09. I have been paying them back every two weeks now since November of 2008 and every time i am due to make a payment they charge me and outrageous fee... I have paid them back over $2900.00 dollars already... It still shows that i owe them $737.44 when i make my payment on 3/19/09 of $302.00 it will take the amount owed down to $435.44 but in two weeks they will charge me again another $200.00 and some dollars in fees... How do i get them to stop... I can't take it anymore... I keep paying and they keep charging me and charging me... Please can someone help tell me what i need to do to stop them from taking all this money...

I understand your frustation with your situation, but these companies are in business to make money. That is how they make money, on unsuspecting people like yourself. The only way to get them to stop charging those outrageous fees is to pay off your loan completely. I do not take out loans like that, but I know people who do and are always paying back way more than they received. That is how those businesses make money.

That happened to me too, and as soon as I noticed it, I contacted my bank and put a stop payment, and from that time on, they haven't been able to get one more penny out of my account. I did pay $30 to my bank for the service, but it was better than having to pay thousands to this company.

You need to pay the amount off in full in this situation. Putting a stop payment on it will put you in the collections cycle. Paying it off in full completely stops the cycle you are in. Payday loans are only good to use if you can pay them off in full as soon as possible. I've taken out a few and ALWAYS made sure to pay it back right away. Most I've ever paid extra is around 60 or 75 bucks depending on the loan amount. Hope you got it taken care of.
