Passport Office review: Passport getting delayed for 3 months! 78

i have applied for passport at RPO ghaziabad file no.-GZ1-6-[protected] dated 03/09/2012 and police verification has also been sent to RPO ghaziabad on 12/03/13 but the passport has not been discharged till now.All other documents have also been verified.
Please disharge passport as soon as possible.

My wife Shaily applied for the passport in the regional office of Ghaziabad, UP on 5th oct, 2006 vide File no. F014373 - 06. It has been six months since and She haven't received her passport. Status is coming as "It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the dispatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be dispatched in a week's time" from last 3months. We are still waiting for it.

My wife applied for a passport vide file no. A-[protected] dated 26-11-2010.
After one year, she came to know that some papers are to be filled and submitted to RPO Ghaziabad. After the documents were submitted, it went for police verification to Gopalganj,
Bihar. After 3 months, when enquired to RPO Ghaziabad, the official said that it has been again sent to Bihar for CID report. This has caused a big inconvenience to her as she can not travel as per her plan. Will the RPO Ghaziabad look into the issue and help her to get the passport so that she can plan her travel abroad?
A rapid issue of the passport to her will greately be appreciated.

wht cann't passport be issued without any police verfication ?

After all, police does not have time for this..which is evident in thousands of cases..they can verify a address in a month..

in the month of August 2008. After police verification
at Muzaffarnagar, her file was sent to regional passport office Ghaziabad on 23rdSep.2008 by the local passport office and the same have been received
by the regional passport office Ghaziabad on 23rd Sep.
2008 itself. The file no. of my daughters passport application is Z404371. but to my utter surprise
when I tried to find out the status of her application
on INTERNET Iam being informed that details are not available or file no. is wrong though the site is updated

Status is coming as "File Reference Number (Z720049-2007 of gzb) is either wrong or Information NOT available" from last 2 months. We are still waiting for it. please ,sir Its affecting my career prospect.so sir please take care regard this matter.

I am Gaurav. I applied for my passport in July 07 . I used to live in Indore (My permanent Address) so applied from Bhopal. But now I have been shifted to Pune and at the time of verification I could not go there , so my passport has been cancelled by saying you does not live at the address you mention. now should I mention my Pune address or should mention Indore address only , and this time I will be there at the time of verification ? I want to mention Pune address this time but my agent say mention old address only otherwise they may case you for mentioning wrong address in Passport from.
