I contracted with Parsa Law Group for them to do a loan modification for me. I paid $4000 up front and then they stopped taking all my phone calls and my emails. I have heard nothing from them in 2 months. I would like my money back. They lied and are just scam artists.

Parsa got disbarred for a matter unrelated to loan modifications. Something about a conviction he had due to an "relationship" with an underaged girl that was not reported to the CA Bar. He was not a scam, but he also no longer is in business.

My name is Carole Dailey. I worked at the Parsa Law Group and indeed did my best to assist Noelia Rose. Unfortunately, when the attorney was no longer permitted to practice law, he shut down all systems. It should be noted that he was in trouble not for business practices, but for behavior unrelated to his work. There was no way for me or any employee to contact the clients we assisted. Technically, the clients were clients of the firm and they had the right to shut down the system. If there was anyway for me to have gone around this...I would have. Another attorney sent this link to me, so I thought that I would at least attempt to set the record straight. Better late than never, I suppose. I pray that all affected were able to get the assistance they seek and deserve.

I paid Parsa Law Group six months ago in the pretext that they were going to work with my lender in four months to modify my loan. I have been shuffled around 4 times to 4 differant people. Other than the supposed phone calls that they said they made to my lender each person has asked for the same paper work I submitted 4 months ago. This is a scam. I called them today and asked them for my 2800.00 dollars back. When I talked to James the latest person at Parsa Law Group. I asked him what was done. His reply was I need to send him the same paperwork only updated and the previous person Crystal that was working on it received no contact from the lender. This is the second time I have insisted about returning my money and so far no reply. Now they want a copy of my 2008 tax extention. It never ends. Can you please help me get my money back. I could really use it. I have been using my equity line of credit to pay my mortgage and bills.

I decided to go away with my mortgage company and try my hand at loan modification. I wasn't going to do it, I was going to hire a company to do it. Boy, was I wrong and taken by a huge scam that the State Bar of California had to get into it and file fraud charges and other charges that still pending by the State Bar of California. The company that I am talking about is Parsa Law Group, A Professional Law Corporation. The attorneys name is James M. Parsa he started his practice in 1991 and then started his business in 1999. You can check these website on him if you ever dealt with him or know someone who has; www.parsalawgroup.com, www.bbb.org, the BBB (Better Business Bureau) and type in Parsa Law group, www.calbar.ca.gov and go to attorney search and then click on the attorney /member search and then type in James Parsa. You will see one result and click on this and you will find all the information on him and the pending lawsuit by the State Bar of California and maybe the very same consumers that were taken by him and sue him to get their money back.
My situation started in August of 2009 and I hired them to do my mortgage and put me into a loan modification to lower my payment and lower my interest rate. Guess what? To good to be true, it was a scam from the start. Consumers were taken by James M. Parsa with the hopes were at the very least low. The consumer including myself needed help and fast so we gave them a retainer fee to get started. My retainer fee was $2, 650.00, they told me to give them my information, like bank statements, social security number, etc. I waited for two month and nothing was going on. Yes, I had a lawyer, so I thought the contracted lawyer to James M. Parsa, Parsa Law Group, was a lawyer, I don't really know. Dummy on my part, not checking the fact of the information. Anyway, around the first week of October 2009, I received an e-mail from the said contracted lawyer that she was know longer working for Parsa Law Group, because she quit and also she told me that the Parsa Law Group has shut its door and the only way to at that time was to get in contact with them was through e-mail. Well I typed in Parsa Law Group and found out the awful situation that I was in and probably thousands of other potential consumers that were in the same boat that I was in. Parsa Law Group, James M. Parsa the said attorney of the company and probably the whole employees that were working there stole $2, 650.00 of my hard earn money and probably other consumers money as well. If you go to www.bbb.org, the Better Business Bureau and click on "For Consumers", then click on "Check on a Business or Charity", then type in "Parsa Law Group" and then click on the only search result and you will find the page for Parsa Law Group. Then just click on "View Complaints" and you will see a lot of complaints by consumers that were frauded by James M. Parsa of Parsa Law Group.
He is a very terrible, evil corrupt man that was suppose to be a lawyer for the people, instead he put GREED in its place and "TOOK THE MONEY AND RAN". I hope I can get my money back from James M. Parsa of the Parsa Law Group. I am now working with my orginial mortgage company, which I should have done in the first place.
Just remember everyone, IF IT SEEMS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE, WELL THEN IT IS A SCAM!

Parsa Law Group "cammed" us out of $4, 000.00 in Feb. 2009. Scott Horowitz "guaranteed" we would achieve a loan mod. with our lender since we have a "legitimate" financial hardship with one of us being on disability now. Our case was assigned to Meliame Valu, Jaimie Sapeda, and Reyna Duran. They are all "Processors" at Parsa. We were strung along for months. Then Parsa's doors closed the second week of October due to James Parsa being disbarred and getting caught in his web of lies. We have requested a full refund, but to no avail of course. The e-mail we sent over 21 days ago has never been answered. We reported our case to the CA Attorney General and the CA FBI. We will call Sgt. Fred Nichols on Monday in Anaheim at: [protected] as well. As soon as the class action law suit starts...we'll be there happy to partake! Screw you Parsa Law Group! And screw you Channel 11 for unbelievably poor broadcasting and for advocating a fraudulent company! Great Channel! Way to go! I'm so sick of being exposed to fraud as a consumer! And I am highly educated and informed with a Master's Degree, so don't preach to me people! It could happen to you too and probably will someday!

I paid Parsa Law Group $4000 in April '09.
to do my Loan Modification.
They passed us around to 4 different (attorneys) who said if we speak to our lender it will cancelled our contract.
In 20 days my home will be Auctioned & can't communicate with them in any way.
What is been done to help us. ?
This is not fair to lose your home because of Criminal White Collar Scam Artists.
Bet they sleep well & in comfort WHILE I face sleeping on the sidewalk.
I hope something gets done to help us.
I even told them, after seeing their Honest Ad. That I heard there were lots of scam co's. That Michael (I think) promised me they were a reputable firm. REALLY! Liars ! THEIVES! CONS ! SCAMMERS!

We are also victims, took our money in February 2009 and we never heard from them again. We had to call them ourselves to check on the status of the loan modification application. There was no written official correspondence except for the contract. The last time we checked, we were told (on the phone) that our application was approved, but nothing to validate, no written confirmation, nothing at all. These people should be caught and punished. They took advantage of people who are really in need of financial assistance.

Parsa Law Group Services not rendered

We hired Parsa Law Group as a third party to negociate a loan modification with our mortgage holder. We started the process in December 2008. August of 2009 Parsa Law Group told us we were preapproved for the loan mod. they just needed to update our file. We never heard from them again. When we call Parsa Law Group they say they are no longer taking on any new cases and they cannot take phone calls. But that they would respond to emails within 7-10 days. They didn't do that either. It is now Jan. 2010 and we still haven't heard anything from them.

My name is Erin Baldwin and I am a consumer and civil rights activist (see my blog at http://thebigbearianreturns.wordpress.com).

I am seeking support from the California State Bar's Board of Governors for an initiative to provide restitution to consumers that suffered as a direct result of the CA State Bar attorney members who broke the law in offering loan modification services contrary to The California Foreclosure Consultant's Act.

Of course, we know that James Parsa is one of them and her surrendered his license on 10/27/09 after being suspended on 10/16/09 for crimes involving moral turpitude in connection with 2 statutory rape convictions in 2001. He is no longer a member of the California State Bar but was member when he defrauded you.

The CA State Bar has a client restitution program called the "Client Security Fund" which each attorney licensed to practivce law in the State of California must pay into every year as part of their State Bar fees. To learn more about what I am doing and how it could benefit you and help you get a refund, please read my blog post: http://thebigbearianreturns.wordpress.com/2010/02/09/california-state-bar-board-of-governors-get-a-chance-to-right-the-wrongs/

Parsa Law Group I lost my home 3 weeks after retaining Parsa

I lost my home three weeks after retaining Parsa Law Grooup.

I contacted Parsa Law Group, in July 2009, prior to the 4th of July. I saw the television commercial and also had heard of them from a co-worker, I was convinced that they could help, I then retained representation from the Parsa Law Group.

I paid a retainer of $2650 to Parsa Law Group, faxed all requested documents, as well as for completion of necessary forms. I then, felt a sense of relief. My situation felt at ease after my initial contact with Scott over the telephone. Everytime I would recieve a call from my lender, I then would communicate the information to Parsa Law Group. On July 21st, 2009, a representative from the bank was at the door with a notice of foreclosure sale, which had transpired the day before. Eviction papers were also included, as well as filed with the Superior Court.

I was frantic, I made several calls to Parsa, faxed all of the correspondence which was delivered to me, then I awaited the answer. After a couple of days had gone by, I recieved a call back, now everything had come to a hurry, hurry, desperate type of situation. Four to five days later, Parsa Law Group replied to me with an answer, I had definately lost the foreclosure battle, I was instructed to make a deal with the bank, ( CASH 4 KEYS). I then was offered a refund of my retainer fees. " We didn't receive your file on time, we are very sorry, I will submit your file for a refund", per Jose, he identified himsself as the office manager.

Weeks went by, I began to get nervous about the refund, then I started calling and calling, leaving message after message, calls were not returned. After a couple of more weeks, I again called, the telephone and fax machine had been forwarded to one line with a message to either e-mail or fax, allow 10 to 14 days for response.

I sent an e-mail on October 14, 2009. Today it remains un-answered. I didn't know whom to call nor did I have a clue on what to do next. On December 11, 2009 I decided to take a drive to Costa Mesa in order to look the thief face to face and to demand my refund, just to find out the office was no longer in operation.

I did not choose the path in which my life took which led me into forclosure. I am a registered nurse and I contacted Meningitis in Feburary 2008, which led to hospitilization and missed work, 2 months later, my sister died of an asthma attack, attempting to recover from the initial hardships, I lost 2 nephews, and 2 lifetime friends, which led me to be a mental wreck. Parsa Law group was not the first organization which I selected to modify my mortgage, but the third. I knew that they could save me and my home. Just prior to retaining Parsa for help, I was being represented by another organization which made multiple attempts to re-modify my loan, Wells Fargo Bank approved the re-modification, it was worse than the original loan but I felt desparate, I verbalized with my representing party that I would take the deal, I submitted the requested documentation and loan payment, the entire process was cancelled without notice secondary to a mandatory contribution fee of $4600 approx. which was verbalized to myself upon inquiry regarding the returned payment. The process was started over again, at this time is when I retained Parsa. They were made full aware of my situation and the need for immediate resoultion.

James Parsa, was suspended from the practice of law on October 16, 2009. He resigned his California license shortly thereafter and has moved on to Nevada where he is also licensed to practice law. His wife, Deborah, filed for divorce on October 8 to protect Parsa's assets and has now joined him in Nevada.

I began reporting about the fraud Parsa was perpetrating against consumers on January 13, 2009 when the California Department of Real Estate contacted me about my blog Bad Biz Finder. I also informed the California State Bar that James Parsa was a twice-convicted statutory rapist and was practicing law without consequence. They ignored it. Finally, I put so much pressure on them that he was suspended for crimes involving moral turpitude.

He is a very sick man and should be avoided at all cost. As a consumer advocate, he sued me for defamation because I printed the truth about him. He was successful in obtaining a $605, 000 judgment against me through some very corrupt manuevers and the case is now on appeal.

I am also writing a Writ of Mandate against the California State Bar ordering them to open their Client Security Fund for all victims of James Parsa's fraudulent operations. To learn more, go to one of the following blogs:

I filed my bankruptcy on may 14, 2017 still no result. Last time I spoke with them they said they needed the last payment, so I paid them. Total payment was $2300 including court fees. Just recently I started to worry because I haven't had any contact w/them since they recieve my payment around Sept. 2017. So I went to their website it says they're backed up due to work volume filed, so only way to contact them is by email. I email them around oct 2017, no response till now. How can I get my refund back since they didn't do their job?

To whom it may concern,

I have had problems with my home mortgage and find it difficult to make payments. Therefore, I asked Parsa Law Group to help me with a Loan Modification on January 14th, 2017. As advertised on TV, the office clerk looked over my case and stated that a lawyer has accepted my case and will able to resolve my problem no later than 120 days with one time payoff fee for $3, 500. I didn’t pay attention to the fact that the Parsa Law Group did not sign the contract paper and cashed out entire amount $3, 500 from American Express Card on the following day of January 15th, 2017 without giving me a receipt.
Since then, it has been more than 8 months (240days), and they rarely call me back (about 5 times) after I called them more than 60 times to update my file. 90% of my calls went to the answer machine and they never called back until many weeks after. I was very upset because they did not resolve my file on time and it was too late. I decided to call the operator several times to make an appointment with the Manager or Mr. Parsa, but they cut my phone and transferred me to the answer machine right away in order to avoid complaining customers. When I had a chance to talk to them, they gave me a different person who was just delegated to work on my file and who doesn’t know anything about the details of my case.
Three weeks ago, I logged in to the BBB website (Better Bureau Business) and I found a lot of complaints from Parsa Law Group’s clients. These victims are in the same situation as I am, and they also wrote that Parsa Law Group is a scam company who made promises, took my money, and does nothing about it.
I don’t want to believe that I am a victim of the fraud despite warning from the government about the agencies who help to resolve the Loan Modification, but I have to accept the truth.

Thank you all for the best services.

I wish I would have researched them on here before I gave up my hard earned $3000. Now I have to try another company to help me save my house! They should have to repay every single person that sent them money for help. They had to have known they were going under and still they advertised and took money that didn't belong to them. I called 7 on your Side. They are doing an investagation and hopefully they will have some answers, but I'm afraid I can kiss my $3000 goodbye for good! I live paycheck to paycheck and this really hurts me and my kids. I hope when they are found they go to jail for a long time.

I am a Real Estate Broker, I educate the consumers on how to start the process on modifying their home loans. Therefore, they will not become a victim to scams. My presentations were provided by pastors allowing me to speak during the service. As a result I meet several people that contacted a law group alleging to get their loans adjusted. On behalf of one client I contacted this company, they refunded half of their money in the amount of $1, 500. This prompted me to visit the BBB website I was not surprise of the number of complaints this company had against them. Recently, I meet another couple who contacted this same company, and they feel this company did not give them due process.

Where will this problem end, these companies need to be publicly exposed.

Suggestion: What if we organize a town hall meeting, invite people who feel they have been a victim to scam and show this event on television.

I was scammed by Parsa Law Group and I will file every consumer complaint, BBB, and Bar association to get their ### out business. They also took a copy of my driver license and they wanted me to copy the front and back. I questioned them and they said the mortgage company asks for this. I spoke to the mortgage company and it was not needed. I suggest if anyone did the same, file identity fraud and protect your accounts.

All of his associate should be thrown in jail. To date, I have not gotten anything back.
My mortgage company sends me the same info to fill out. They close down all communication and will not return messages.

Parsa Law Group Scamm

Parsa Law Group loan modification fraud

LOAN FRAUD and warning-> they took a Copy of California ID Front and BAck. WHY? Identity Theft?

In July after seeing a FOX commercial on a Parsa Law Group who claimed they help 4, 000 people modify their home loans in a short time period. On Fox, I figured they are legit. I googled in July and I found one complaint about Parsa Law Group. I called Parsa Law Group, I got a man named Matt Orolowski who sold me on them and in 10 minutes said I was qualified. I had him on the phone for close to an hour and he told me about that specific complaint and BBB has moved them up. One thing Matt sound very sincere and I told him I am in very bad financial status; I am chronically disabled, bad liver and on Long Term Disability until my health come back. I signed the form to allow them to represent me and paid them in July 14, 2009, $2, 900.

On October 11, 2009, Sovereign bank is asking me for the same information I send Parsa which took me a week to gather together. I felt so sick after that because my liver is bad. I mailed it to Matt Orolowski because it was over 200 pages. Next thing I know a week or so later, I get a call from this rude man named Phil who has taken over for Matt, who claims Matt was terminated or is no longer with the company. I was assigned a processer named Darrell Brown who guaranteed me he will make sure my modification will complete and he needed to create a financial loan analyst sheet on me for Sovereign. Weeks go by and later, I get it the information sheet that was not complete. I called him to question that. He said it had to make sense meaning if I was too much of a loss; more than likely, I will not get approved. How can that be, this is the reason for the Obama program. Anyway, he sound convincing so I listened to him and initial the document. On another call to him late September, he called back to tell me he sent to Sovereign on 9/15 All my documents along with his Financial Breakdown. I ask again are you sure you fax over everything and he said YES and acknowledge how huge the amount of documents were. I told him that what you ask for and he again said well, Sovereign has everything he has. I told him I cannot put this document together again and he said don't worry Sovereign has it!

In October I called for a status, he emails me he will call. I waited a week, neither a call nor email. I email Darrell again for status and ask why is sovereign sending me forms asking for everything I sent him earlier? He emails me and said he will call me later. Later passes and I again email him and cc the big boss and told them I am worried. Why is my bank asking for the same info? Nothing happened, it was the last message that went through and after that, all email for parsa law including voice mails were closed down. On Oct 9th, I went ahead and send my bank statement Darrell last requested, even though I sent it before and all of sovereign documents by fax. I email my bank statement since it was double-sided and now, his email is now rejected by Daemon. Their port was closed and phone calls were forward to a customer service line and the wait was 2-3 weeks to return a call.

I then call Sovereign to find out why they are asking for the same info I sent Parsa and someone from the review team said, all they have are a couple of lease documents and Darrell's financial breakdown which he sent to Sovereign Lost Mediation. I can't believe this and to top that he could not spell the company right. Parsa has 130 days to represent me and from Sovereign it is about due.

I am so sick I feel I cannot do this myself, that why I paid Parsa to complete the process but yet, sovereign continues to ask me for all the information again. The Sovereign reviewer felt parsa law is a fraudulent company and I need to report them to SIGTARP, a government agency that deals with companies like parsa. Their number is [protected] if you feel you have been scammed. I am worried because they had me copy by license front and back and I am not sure that is the proper protocol. Would someone let me know?

I will give parsa one more chance to return ALL my documents and to call me back and to follow up with Sovereign. I am going blind in one eye so I hope this makes sense. This has been a horrible experience and I am out thousands of dollars and worse exposed financials to a company that seems to be scamming by allowing time to represent me to run out or just made me believe they are legit. I don't know. If someone does, please comment on what I can do. This is such a nightmare.

I am still hoping Parsa Law is legit but I am afraid I have been scammed and I am afraid of my financial info is in jeopardy. Does anyone known anything about Parsa Law Group? Do not forget the number to SIGTARP if you have been scammed. Call all BBB and Comsumer Advocates. His employees are just as responsible.

Band together everyone. Call Bar Association too.

I agree. They charged ne 4200 and had me gather all my paperwork and they were suppose to have submitted to my loan company, Sovereign Bank. My loan company sends me a notice and asks for the same information I sent to Parsa Law Group, Processer named Darrell Brown, who swore up and down they were for real. I emailed him and email failed. I cc JM Parsa too which took once and now, only a customer service email is accepting emails. It i s a scam for them to file some sort of backrupcty I bet! Apparently they have closed their direct email down. This company and their employees needs to be arrested or sued. Does anyone know what do to? I paid them in July and was in contact until early October. Please someone what is the recourse?

I am writing this complaint on behalf of my parents Francisco and Paula Sandoval. For over a year, my parents have been trying to find a modification that will help them save their house. With no luck, they have been scammed out of their money from different law groups, including the Parsa Group. On Thursday, October 8, 2009, my parents went all the way to Costa Mesa to see if they can get some of their money back, realizing that Parsa wasn't doing anything to help them out, and they were very surprised to find out that the law group had closed their doors with no notification whatsoever! On their door, they posted a sign letting clients know that they will no longer take any cases, and would not be able to communicate by phone! The funniest thing was that it states that they are able to contact the office via US mail to the same address where the closed office is located! Parsa is a fraudulent group and should be sued for their wrongdoing!
Please contact us as soon as possible on what we should do.

Thank you,
Virginia Sandoval

I am in the same situation. I was informed that there was legislation passed regarding up-front modification fees and as a result of the bill Parsa has basically shut down. I tried e-mailing my processor but of course I received the same return mail. I am basically waiting for the result of the bill and Parsa's response to it will be. On the optomistic side I am hoping I receive my money back plus damages but that is a pipe dream I am guessing. Again I will wait and see and I can relate to your situation.

Parsa Law Group Scam

An email sent yesterday to Parsa Law Group since they are no longer receiving calls or visits:

I received an email from Charles Ton that he now also is no longer with your firm due to non-payment. It is apparent to me that your fly by night "Law Firm" is a scam. You are now not even receiving calls! I single handedly achieved approval from Wells Fargo into the HAMP program through contacting them while you didn't even have a lawyer working my case. This became apparent when I called last month and a service rep couldn't find my file, let alone who was handling it. Then, after a few phone calls, I was given the name of John Michael Marconi. I left several messages for him and never spoke with him. I was then forwarded to Steven Benson and he left your "Firm". My life, home and family is much too important for me to put into your incompetent hands. Especially after receiving a letter from you on 9/29/09 taking credit for a completed loan modification on your behalf, which I achieved. The loan, which Mr. Ton and I agreed, is in trial for 3 months, November-January. It will not be completed, as you put, until we can lock in a 30 year fixed at an amicable percentage rate some time in January 2010. This, we agreed, he would work on. This, I paid $2900 for.
In July I received letters from Wells Fargo asking for your power of attorney which I filled out in June. I told Wells Fargo you were representing me. They got initial contact from Patrick Minoofar and Nichole Mercado but no financial reports from you which I sent to Parsa overnight about 100 pages worth. I then received the paperwork back, in a couple of days, from Parsa with no note stating what you did with such paperwork, whether copied or forwarded to Wells Fargo. I sincerely doubt you even looked at it, since Charles had me fill out another financial report in September. Wells Fargo sent me out a HAMP package to fill out and send back, again containing my finances. I supplied and filled out all paperwork directly with the bank and got approval. They even told me getting approved for HAMP had nothing to do with Parsa. I am financially stressed enough as it is, and this is not worth the money. This I paid $2900 for. Therefore I am seeking full reimbursement since your "Firm" completely bungled my case and am now trying to take full credit for my due diligence.
Now the remaining $950 for reaching a settlement for the Home Equity loan. Just write me a check. I have absolutely no confidence in your operation whatsoever. Charles Ton gave me a slight glimmer of hope when he promised we were a priority, being a right hand man to Joel Amico. Beverly Lawton even asked if I wanted a refund prior to me speaking with Charles, but I foolishly gave you one last chance. I feverishly anticipate your immediate 15-21 day response.

Sincerely,
Jeffrey Daigle

I paid and submitted an application for a loan modification after viewing a TV ad of the Parsa Law Group. Since then I have dealt with complete incompetence, attitude and pacifying excuses. I can't even tell you the number count of how many people they told me to contact when they had no knowledge of my file or has it been submitted for 5 months. I had to refax and send the same information to each person. They told me to stop making payments on my home and credit cards so I can show hardship. They have not completed my loan modification and my credit is now totally screwed up. I find out today, their doors are closed, this guy is a pedofile, he can no longer practice law, he is a scammer and has taken my money and left me in a very f**k*d up situation. I could have had entertained other options much earlier had I known I had been scammed!

Jeffrey Daigle you are an idiot. You don't deserve a refund. By the way you are not going to get a 30 year fix U are a tool. The HAMP program is a 5 year fixed. These delusional homeowners think they deserve the world. Just be lucky you got a loan modification and move on. If your loan was owned by fannie mae or freddie mac then you should have never hired an attorney. Parsa law group is not at fault. U are an idiot.

Parsa Law Group PARSA LAW GROUP CAUGHT IN FRAUD & LIES IN COURT-Consumer Advocate Appeals

CONSUMER ADVOCATE FILES APPEAL IN PARSA LAW GROUP ACTION: Violations of Prior Restraint & Due Process, Malicious Prosecution, and a $605, 000 Award on an Indigent Defendant Whom the Court Won’t Even Allow to Speak on Behalf of the Action

Parsa Law Group, APC v. Bad Biz Finder and Erin Baldwin
Orange County Superior Court Case No. 30-2009-[protected]

On June 2, 2009, Erin Baldwin, whom the Court failed to recognize as a Defendant authorized to speak on behalf of the action, was ordered to pay Parsa Law Group $605, 000 for her alleged actions amounting to defamation. However, 15 days earlier, the Court denied Parsa’s Preliminary Injunction and Temporary Restraining Order because Parsa failed to prove a case for defamation.

Are we crazy or does this sound all wacked out? What’s wrong with this picture? A lot. So, Baldwin filed an Appeal on September 2, 2009 and we wanted to share with you the grounds of the Appeal.

To Plaintiff, PARSA LAW GROUP, APC, and to PARSA LAW GROUP’S Attorneys of Record, Eric J. Goodman, Esq.; David A. Berstein, Esq., and Nicholas D. Myers, Esq. of Burkhalter, Kessler, Goodman & George LLP:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT Defendant, ERIN K. BALDWIN, an Individual, files a Notice of Appeal on the following grounds:

1. On May 18, 2009, The Honorable Judge Franz Miller, in his tentative ruling on Plaintiff’s Motion for Preliminary Injunction and Temporary Restraining Order in this matter, astutely and correctly identified that Plaintiff’s claim against Defendant Baldwin contained prior restraint issues and that said issues should be considered.

2. On May 18, 2009, The Honorable Judge Franz Miller denied Plaintiff’s Motion for Preliminary Injunction and Temporary Restraining Order against Defendants Bad Biz Finder and Erin Baldwin, as Plaintiff failed utterly to state a cause of action for defamation. Defendant Bad Biz Finder posted articles containing facts about Plaintiff, supported by California State licensing agencies and Civil Code authority. The facts were embarrassing to Plaintiff. The facts made available to consumers in foreclosure by Defendant Bad Biz Finder’s blog adversely affected Plaintiff’s ability to conduct business in violation of the law. Defendant Baldwin has a right guaranteed by the First Amendment to Constitution of the United States to publish said facts anonymously without prior restraint . This right was violated in this action.

3. The law also states that truth is an absolute defense against defamation. Plaintiff never once even attempted to dispute the validity of facts presented on Defendant Bad Biz Finder’s blog, and in its inability to do so failed to form a prima facie case for defamation. Judge Miller correctly denied Plaintiff’s request for an injunction against Defendants as Plaintiff’s pleadings did not argue the merits. Rather, the pleadings merely re-printed the text of the articles written on Defendant Bad Biz Finder’s blog claiming the content was defamatory but failed to state any basis of law to support its claims.

4. On May 19, 2009, Defendant Erin Baldwin informed the Court that she was indigent and therefore “judgment proof” by way of a faxed submission of an Application for Waiver of Court Fees and Costs. On the same date, Latesha in Civil Operations rejected the Application stating on the “Fax-Filing Reject Form”: “We are unable to file this fee waiver because a business can’t file for a fee waiver so I will charge the credit card for $13.00. If you have any questions please call [protected] and ask for Latesha. Thank you.”

5. On May 19, 2009, Latesha forwarded the rejected Application to Stacie Turner, Judge Miller’s Clerk in Department C-14 with a note to Ms. Turner requesting that she forward the “Fax-Filing Rejection” form to Defendant Baldwin. Ms. Turner held on to the rejected application until May 29, 2009, the date originally set by Plaintiff for the Default Prove-up hearing.

6. On May 29, 2009, Defendant Baldwin called and spoke with Stacie Turner in Department C-17 to find out the outcome of the hearing. It was at that time that Ms. Turner informed Defendant Baldwin that the Default Prove-Up Hearing had been continued to Tuesday, June 2, 2009. Plaintiff did not notice Defendants regarding the continuation. If Plaintiff had properly noticed Defendants, there would have been no reason for Defendant Baldwin to call to check the status of the hearing.

7. Defendant Baldwin later found out that the date for the Default Prove-Up hearing had been continued due to the fact that Plaintiff’s Request for Entry of Default (Court Judgment w/Judgment Package) had been rejected by the Court on May 28, 2009 due to numerous errors. At that time Defendant Baldwin inquired as to the status of her Application for Waiver of Court Fees and Costs. Latesha explained to Defendant Baldwin that Defendant Bad Biz Finder was the primary Defendant and that to date Defendant Baldwin had not been effectively added as a Defendant and as such, could not be considered for a fee waiver.

8. This was due in part to Plaintiff’s falsified and premature subpoena to Defendant Baldwin’s cable company, Time Warner, to attempt to identify a certain I.P. address as belonging exclusively to Defendant Baldwin to justify adding Defendant Baldwin to the action. Since Defendant Baldwin was a home Internet user without a computer server, the I.P. address is dynamic, not static. As such, it is impossible to match a broad range I.P. address to any given person or person’s account. However, Plaintiff’s counsel repeatedly used this false information to maliciously prosecute Defendant Baldwin.

9. Defendant Baldwin found it strange that Defendant Bad Biz Finder was the primary Defendant in the action since Defendant Bad Biz Finder had never been served with a Summons and Complaint. As well, Plaintiff had dismissed all causes of action against Defendant Beverly Sullivan and Does 1-10 on May 27, 2009. It didn’t make sense to Defendant Baldwin until July 14, 2009, when the Honorable Judge Franz Miller stated in his tentative ruling on Defendant’s Motion to Set Aside Judgment, etc., that he was “unclear if Baldwin has any authority to appear for Bad Biz.” [Now why would he state that five weeks after including Defendant Baldwin in a Judgment (jointly and severally) in the amount of 604, 515.66?]

10. Upon rejection of Plaintiff’s Request for Entry of Default (Court Judgment w/Judgment Package), the Civil Unlimited filing clerk told Defendant Baldwin that she recommended to Plaintiff to continue the matter out several weeks in order to have time to notice Defendant Baldwin and repair the errors. Notice was never made by Plaintiff, nor does the original hearing date (May 29, 2009) show up on the current court docket (it erroneously states that the hearing was continued from June 1, 2009 to June 2, 2009.) However, Defendant’s Motion for an Order Setting Aside Default, etc., was date stamped by the Court on May 27, 2009 with the correct hearing date of May 29, 2009 as it was Defendant’s intention to have the Motion considered prior or in conjunction with the Default Prove-up Hearing. [Please note that Judge Miller also stated in his July 14, 2009 tentative ruling on the Motion, that said Motion was “timely brought.”]

11. On June 2, 2009, fifteen (15) days after The Honorable Judge Franz Miller denied Plaintiff’s Motion for Preliminary Injunction and Temporary Restraining Order against Defendants Bad Biz Finder and Erin Baldwin --- the Honorable Judge Franz Miller supported, granted and allegedly signed a Default Judgment By Court With Permanent Injunction against Defendants Bad Biz Finder and Erin K. Baldwin. The order stated, in part:

“IT IS SO ORDERED that Plaintiff have and recover Judgment from Defendants Bad Biz Finder, an unknown entity, and Erin K. Baldwin, an individual and doing business as Bad Biz Finder, jointly and severally: (1) In the principal sum of $604, 515.66 plus interest thereon at the rate of ten (10%) percent per annum from June 2, 2009; and (2) Costs pursuant to CCP section 1033.5 in the amount of $976.76.”

12. Additionally, on the same date that the Honorable Judge Franz Miller allegedly signed the above-referenced Court Order (June 2, 2009), Judge Miller’s Courtroom Clerk, Stacie Turner, was in possession of Defendant’s Motion for Order Setting Aside Default as to all Defendants, Request for Dismissal with Prejudice, and Award of Monetary Damages and had been so since May 27, 2009 when it was date stamped by the Court. However, for some reason, it was not presented to the Court for consideration prior to Judge Miller’s Order of Default Judgment. Had it been so presented, the Court Order would be moot. as a Default Judgment could not have been entered.

13. On June 2, 2009, Ms. Turner mailed to Defendant Baldwin the rejected Application for Waiver of Court Fees and Costs and Resubmit Request sent to her by Latesha on May 19, 2009. In the same package she included Defendant’s original Motion for Order Setting Aside Default as to all Defendants, Request for Dismissal with Prejudice, and Award of Monetary Damages date stamped on May 27, 2009, along with her handwritten note (date stamped June 2, 2009) stating: “Obtain legal counsel to properly file your motion, or a paralegal to assist.” Ms. Turner’s unique penmanship on the handwritten note matched the unique penmanship on the above-referenced Court Order allegedly signed by the Honorable Judge Franz Miller.

14. Additionally, on the same date that the Honorable Judge Franz Miller allegedly heard arguments by Plaintiff at 11:30 a.m. and signed the above-referenced Court Order (June 2, 2009), regular judicial activity was suspended at Central Justice Center of the Orange County Superior Court due to an electrical power outage affecting the entire facility. On June 2, 2009, the Clerk of the Court informed Defendant Baldwin that no one was let in to the Courthouse until approximately 2:30 p.m. that day. However, Plaintiff’s counsel claim that they were heard before the Honorable Judge Franz Miller and that the Court Order was signed and submitted that day.

15. The Application for Waiver of Court Fees and Costs was quickly resubmitted by Defendant Baldwin and granted by the Court on June 4, 2009 as was the minor address correction on the Motion to Set Aside Default, etc.

16. On July 13, 2009, with her last few dollars Defendant Baldwin traveled by bus to file a Reply to Plaintiff’s Opposition to Defendant’s Motion to Set Aside Default, etc. At the same time she personally visited Department C-17 and requested information from Ms. Turner about how to appear telephonically for the July 14, 2009 hearing. Defendant Baldwin was instructed to call Court Call in the morning at [protected] or visit www.courtcall.com for more information. Ms. Turner did not instruct Defendant Baldwin that she would need a printout of the fee waiver approval from the Department even though Ms. Turner knew that it was required to appear telephonically.

17. Later that day, on July 13, 2009, Defendant Baldwin contacted Court Call to make the arrangements and was asked to fax a written acknowledgment that the Court had approved the fee waiver. Since Defendant Baldwin had only hours earlier appeared personally in Department C-17 and had not been provided with said acknowledgment, she telephoned Ms. Turner and requested that she provide an authorization to Court Call on Defendant Baldwin’s behalf. Ms. Turner informed Defendant Baldwin that she would have to come back to the Court and pick it up and then fax it herself. Defendant Baldwin explained that she had just spent her last few dollars traveling to the Court to file the Reply and seek information to appear telephonically because she could not afford to come back on the bus the next day. Ms. Turner refused to assist Defendant Baldwin and informed Defendant Baldwin, “This is a court of law, we don’t do favors for anyone.” Consequently, Defendant Baldwin could not appear personally or telephonically at the Motion hearing.

18. On July 14, 2009, the Honorable Judge Franz Miller stated in his tentative rulings on Defendant’s Motion to Set Aside Judgment, etc., that he was “unclear if Baldwin has any authority to appear for Bad Biz.” Defendant Baldwin found that statement odd when five weeks earlier, Judge Miller had signed an Order granting Plaintiff judgment against Defendants Bad Biz Finder, an unknown entity, and Erin K. Baldwin, an individual and doing business as Bad Biz Finder, jointly and severally.” Why would Judge Miller be unclear as to whether Defendant Baldwin has any authority to appear for Defendant Bad Biz Finder when he set down on paper that she was jointly and severally responsible for paying Plaintiff over $600, 000 defining Defendant Baldwin as an individual doing business as Bad Biz Finder?

19. Defendant Baldwin is an in pro per litigant due to an inability to finance legal representation. She is not representing herself because she disrespects the Court, nor because she cannot comprehend the seriousness of the matter at hand or its consequences to her personal security or financial future. Plaintiff and Plaintiff’s counsel have taken advantage of this fact for almost nine months beginning with its first complaint dated January 26, 2009 and in fact, has compounded the injustice by encouraging others to hire their firm to “go after her, ” since they were successful in obtaining a $605, 000 judgment on behalf of Plaintiff Parsa Law Group. To date, two other law firms that were also the subject of reports on Defendant Bad Biz Finder’s blog have hired Plaintiff’s counsel and have filed very similar actions against Defendants Bad Biz Finder and Erin Baldwin. (See: Orange County Superior Court Case No. 30-2009-[protected]-CU-DF-CJC, Jeffrey A. Cancilla vs. Erin K. Baldwin filed July 13, 2009, and Orange County Superior Court Case No. 30-2009-[protected]-CU-BT-CJC, Traut Law Group vs. Bad Biz Finder, filed July 20, 2009.)

20. On September 2, Judge Franz Miller allowed all cases to be joined together as related cases all to be heard by him. He also issued a Bench Warrant for Erin Baldwin’s arrest and set bail for $5, 000 because Defendant Baldwin did not attend an Order to Show Cause Re Contempt even though Judge Franz Miller has already stated that she is not affiliated with this case even to the point that she cannot speak on behalf of Bad Biz Finder.

21. Prior to the above-referenced law firm cases, Plaintiff’s counsel also took on another client, Defendant Baldwin’s landlord, Colorado-based publicly-traded Landlord/REIT, UDR, Inc., in yet ANOTHER action for Defamation against Baldwin filed on June 29, 2009, less than two weeks after UDR illegally evicted Baldwin after a six month court battle. On June 16, 2009, until the present, Defendant Baldwin has been homeless and yet Plaintiff’s counsel continues its relentless pursuit amounting to malicious prosecution.

22. Beginning with Judge Miller’s observation that prior restraint issues exist in this case, Defendant Baldwin has faced an uphill battle against Plaintiff and Plaintiff’s counsel, Burkhalter, Kessler, Goodman & George, LLP. Defendant files this Notice of Appeal to clear her name, the Judgment illegally obtained, and to dismiss the other frivolous lawsuits brought exclusively to intimidate and quiet her.

23. Defendant Baldwin’s constitutional rights to free speech, free press without prior restraint, and due process of the law have been violated. Plaintiff’s counsel has repeatedly used its legal status to intimidate and threaten the media and press to its advantage further violating the liberties granted to Defendant Baldwin under the First Amendment of the United States of America. Despite all attempts by Defendant Baldwin to mount a rigorous defense on her own behalf, the law behind this matter seems to have been ignored and replaced by unconscionable, unethical and illegal proceedings.

24. This entire action and the actions brought after are a travesty of injustice and in order for the wrongs against Defendant Baldwin to be corrected, the arguments must be heard. It is for these reasons and others to be brought before the Court of Appeals that Defendant Erin Baldwin files this Notice of Appeal.

Well, this should be interesting to watch. What do you think? Weigh in – give us your views.

James Parsa Law Group is a fradulent company. What was wrttien here, I honestly did not read the whole thing. Personally, I was scammd by Parsa Law Group. They closed their mail server down, took people california id, had them copy the front and back. I did not think anything about this because they claimed to be lawyers. I paid money for their services and they failed to represent me and after all the trouble I went through, and talking to my mortgage company, there was no reason to copy my driver's license unless they plan to use it in the worse possible way. Identity theft or open accouns under customers names, who knows. All their associates are responsible and I will name everyone of them.

Parsa law group did not do any work on my behalf and I lost my money I gave to them so any bad press this stupid company gets, should be told. I hope there is a class action law suit again all parties associated with Parsa Law suit. Count me in. Bad Biz Finder should win.

Parsa Law Group Lies, lies, lies

When first called them we were told that they would be working on getting us a principle balance reduction. We were told our note would be audited for mistakes to give them leverage to negotiate a principle balance reduction. Instead we received a modification, which was okay but in our current financial situation we are not able to make the new payments if we accept it. Parsa Law Group was very aware of our financial situation. They then tried to scare us into accepting the first offer from our lender even though we told them we needed something better. We finally met with our lender ourselves and are attempting to do this by ourselves. Because of the delay waiting for instructions from Parsa Law Group, we still may lose our home. We wasted $2, 300.00 and did not receive what was promised when we contacted them the first time.

Hello there, my family got screwed by these people as well. Been in business with these people for 6 months and and still no reply. Gave money upfront, and they told us to stop making payments on the house, still no response, or anything to say they did anything to modify our loan. No phone number, not responding back to my emails. I did business with the following people, the first one I talked to was Matt Orlowski, and he lead the way to us getting screwed, than two weeks later, Phil Panzarella, followed up by the negotiator by the name of Reid Ceme. He gave me the impression that I would be getting an update every week, which didn't happen. I started with him in August, and I was going to make payments after I made a payment of $1850, which my last payment going to be in Sept of $600. I wrote them out a check and mailed it out to their address. Thank God for the US mail service for not being able to deliver that check so it came back to me. So i thought there was something fishy there, so I waited and waited, cause they complained they was too busy to talk. I contacted my mortgage company myself and was told by them after inquiring about me one time, the theifs dropped my case. To Jim Parsa he can run, but he cant hide, I expect to get my money back one day!

Please pass the word around if you know others that may benefit.

I signed up with Parsa Law Group about 4 months ago, after checking several other law firms who do loan modifications as well as loan modification companies. I thought I had throughly investigated Parsa. The only negative thing I found was an old criminal case filed against James Parsa for having sex with a minor. I confronted the representative at Parsa and was told it was all a big mistake, that an old "girlfriend of James Parsa filed a phoney suit" However, I did find the information on the California Bar site when I checked the status of James Paras. My point is, where were all of you when I did an internet seach back in July, 2009? there was nothing. Now I am finding this board and 7 complaints on the BBB site. Today I tried to call my loan "processor" at the Parsa Law firm and I am getting an outgoing message stating "due to call volume we cannot accept any calls" i am unable to leave any voicemail message, emails to the firm go unanswered. I have now paid off the amount Parsa charged up front, I have nothing. I have no letters from the alleged attorney at the firm assigned to my case, I have no idea if the attorney is working with anyone. I have nothing but. I do have overwhelming fear that I have been screwed. Complaints need to be made with the California Bar association as that who has jurisdiction over licensed attorneys, which Parsa is.

Also, I was given a verbal guarantee by the representive at Parsa that a modification would most certainly be awarded. Did anyone else get that same assurance? If so, please email me at becly@aol.com. I would be interested in getting a group together to complain to the Bar Association.

James Parsa (Parsa Law Group) Charged By CA State Bar With Crimes Involving Moral Turpitude, Stemming From Parsa’s Rape Convictions in 2001

On August 31, 2009, The Chief Trial Counsel's Office of the California State Bar filed charges against James Parsa, owner and founder of Parsa Law Group, for moral turpitude stemming from his 2 convictions of statutory rape from 2001. (Actually he pled guilty to 2 and his crafty attorney got him off on the other SIX).

Here’s the complaint from the California State Bar:
http://members.calbar.ca.gov/courtDocs/09-C-12545.pdf

You know, NYSE:UDR - UDR, Inc. must feel really dumb for joining in with Parsa Law Group in their defamation case against consumer advocate, Erin Baldwin. Couldn't be good for their reputation, now could it.

Erin Baldwin was warning consumers about James Parsa on her blog, Bad Biz Finder, for six months, until June when Judge Franz Miller, slapped a Judgment of $605, 000 on her for defaming James Parsa's reputation and shut down her blog. Then last week, Judge Franz Miller ordered a bench warrant for Baldwin's arrest for Contempt of Court. Rapist - consumer advocate - hmmm. Who’s in contempt?

So, let's see -- on one hand we have a consumer advocate warning people about James Parsa -- and on the other hand we have a ambulance-chasing, pretend loan mod lawyer rapist. Not sure this case went the right way.

Baldwin not only has a $605, 000 judgment on her record even though as of July 14, Judge Miller didn’t believe she could speak on behalf of the case, but that didn’t stop him from issuing a bench warrant for her arrest.

AND last week Judge Miller allowed NYSE:UDR - UDR, Inc, The Law Offices of Jeffrey Cancilla, and The Law Offices of Craig Laverty, to join James Parsa and Parsa Law Group into one big ol’ defamation case against consumer advocate, Erin Baldwin.

AND Judge Miller appointed himself the ever-watchful judicial eye of all things fair and just in this case to further violate Baldwin’s right of free speech and free press without prior restraint and due process under the laws of the Constitution of the United States. Amen, brother.

How did a rapist, loan mod fraud become the GOOD GUY and the consumer advocate who warned consumers in foreclosure become the BAD GUY? Baldwin told the truth about UDR's illegal California leases to help tenants - and the illegal loan modification transactions being performed by Parsa, Cancilla, and Laverty, among others - in a free speech forum. Are we missing something or we in Communist Cuba?

So, folks, let this be a warning to you -- it's hazardous to your personal safety and well being TO TELL THE TRUTH. The California court system does not like it when you do that.

If you want to be homeless, have your personal property confiscated, your car towed and then sold, a six-figure judgment against you, a good possibility of going to jail, and 4 other lawsuits pending against you, then do what Erin Baldwin did.

Write the truth on a blog, speak the truth to consumers and tenants, and defend your rights as an American citizen - see where it gets you.

Oh yah, and here’s another one for child endangerment where Parsa left a child under the age of 6 alone in a car unsupervised: http://visionweb.occourts.org/Vision_Public/DisplayCaseInfo.do?caseNbr=5888875&personNbr=2132600&src=case_src: Orange County Superior Court Case No. OR1000938

I wish I had known about this website prior to signing up with parsa. As I look back all the signs were there for me not to do business with them. I have since gone through another company The Law Offices Of Sherman and Nathanson. No refund was given to me through parsa so I wanted to make sure I was not throwing away another 4k, so I did my research. These guys have a bbb rating of an A no complaints, and the nicest negotiators you can ask for. They continually called me to let me know status and they had an online system where I could check myself. We ended up getting a 2% 30 year fixed and everything that we were negative was put to the end of the loan. If you have any questions email me or just give them a call My family will be forever greatful for them and I hope if you are thinking about using parsa you think twice! My sales rep was Bret and I was is constant communication with him through the entire process and I have referred my sister and uncle to their firm. [protected]

Parsa Law Group PARSA LAW GROUP IS A CRIMINAL OPERATION WITH A SINGULAR MISSION: TO SEEK OUT AND PREY ON VULNERABLE CONSUMERS IN FORECLOSURE

PARSA LAW GROUP IS A CRIMINAL OPERATION WITH A SINGULAR MISSION: TO SEEK OUT AND PREY ON VULNERABLE CONSUMERS IN FORECLOSURE

And they will destroy anyone or anything that stands in its way. It was successful in shutting down the Bad Biz Finder blog on Friday, July 24, 2009.

We would like to present a fellow consumer advocate’s perspective of this horrendous disservice to almost 125, 000 loyal readers on the blog generated in only 6 months.

“We know our blog is called ‘Crimes Against Consumers’ but sometimes we like to present news about what we and other consumer advocates go through in the name of protecting consumers and championing causes we find worthy.

“Once criminals taste power and its resident fame and fortune, it’s nearly impossible for them to be satisfied with anything else. That’s why there is such a high recidivism rate in prison. Statistics tell us 88% of prison inmates that serve one year of more return. Prison is not a deterrent. It’s like sticking a needle in your arm full of heroin a couple of times and then never picking it up again. Impossible.

“What happens to consumer advocates that find and expose the truth and cause criminals to get nervous? They get squashed in ways you could only imagine. Some survive but most don’t.

“Friday, July 23, 2009, was a very sad day for American consumers. WordPress Chief Executive Officer, Toni Schneider, in connection with its corporate attorney, Scott Dettmer of Gunderson Dettmer shut down a blog that dared to expose the seedy underbelly of mortgage modification fraud.

“The reason? Parsa Law Group, an alleged “loan modification litigation specialist” together with its $400/hour blood money Irvine, California attorneys, Burkhalter, Kessler, Goodman and George LLP, obtained a sleazy, underhanded, back door judgment against Bad Biz Finder, a group we consider to be one of the most talented group of investigative researchers and reporters in our field.

“Bad Biz Finder wrote about Parsa Law Group and the lies and fraud it perpetrated against consumers in foreclosure. It also reported on about 40 other companies and law firms that followed Parsa’s lead. Bad Biz Finder couldn’t afford a $400/hour attorney because it doesn’t make an income, it’s completely self-supporting.

“On January 26, 2009, Parsa Law Group sued Bad Biz Finder for defamation in the amount of $20 million and sought a preliminary injunction and temporary restraining order preventing Bad Biz Finder from reporting on Parsa Law Group. Judge Franz Miller denied Parsa Law Group’s request and stated that Parsa Law Group failed to state a cause of action for defamation.

“However, James Parsa, Alton Burkhalter, Daniel Kessler and Eric Goodman had already been sucked into the the rush brought about by intravenous drugs and it had to have more and nothing was going to stop them.

“Since April of 2008, Parsa Law Group had collected an average of $3500 per client in advanced fees from thousands of consumers in foreclosure. But instead of properly holding the money in client trust funds, it deposited the funds into its firm account. Bad Biz Finder reports that it received an astronomical amount of complaints about Parsa Law Group in comparison to other loan modification scams and most revealed that Parsa Law Group took their money, never provided legal services, and the consumer eventually lost their home.

“Consequently, Parsa Law Group had a lot of cash laying around and money gets you into places where you would not ordinarily be allowed.
“On June 2, 2009 the Orange County Superior Court was handicapped by a power outage and all hearings were postponed. However, Burkhalter et al. managed to obtain a $605, 000 judgment against Bad Biz Finder at a 11:30 a.m. hearing in front of Judge Franz Miller.

“Due to the power failure (that began the day before) Bad Biz Finder’s opposition was not considered because it had been fax filed to the Court. Burkhalter had been served days before and denied any knowledge of the document.

“Bad Biz Finder filed a Motion to Set Aside the Judgment of $605, 000 and Judge Miller, in his Minute Order, agreed that it proved its case on the merits but failed to include certain supporting documents. As such, the Motion was denied on pleadings technicalities, not uncommon with in pro per litigants.

“On Wednesday, July 21, Bad Biz Finder posted the contents of the Motion on its blog. The document was filed in Orange County Superior Court and as such, is public record.

See it here: http://www.pr-inside.com/parsa-law-group-among-others-use-frivolous-defamation-actions-to-silence-the-truth-about-illegal-loan-modifications-r1405745.htm

“On Friday morning, WordPress shut down the entire Bad Biz Finder blog. Since January 13, 2009, the blog had attracted more than 125, 000 viewers because of its exacting ability to ferret out the facts and stay one step ahead of the heroin-addicted junkies.

“Here is just one comment we obtained from Bad Biz Finder that was sent to WordPress CEO, Toni Schneider and its attorney, Scott Dettmer of Gunderson Dettmer:

“I am shocked and dismayed that WordPress has shut down the Bad Biz blog, when their only “raison d’etre” was to expose fraud and prevent additional consumers from becoming victims.

“Any person or organization whose main goal is to expose fraud is going to get some heat from the perpetrators of the fraud. That Bad Biz was willing to take the heat, with no monetary or financial gain in it for them, speaks volumes about their integrity and tenacity.

“Rather than deactivate their blog, WordPress should be championing their cause and rallying to their defense. Without a voice standing up for what’s right, then the crooks and thieves win.

Nicole C

“It is with honor and respect that we support Bad Biz Finder in this matter. Let it be known that Bad Biz Finder is at this moment regrouping and won’t be down for long – because that’s what we do in our mission to educate consumers and give them hope for a better day.

Crimes Against Consumers.”

At Bad Biz Finder, we don’t stand alone. And we are not easily discouraged. There is much work to be done and we will not be intimidated nor defeated by Parsa Law Group.

In the meantime, folks, please stay clear of this evil operation.

Bad Biz Finder

We live in Northern California and were totally scammed. Parsa is the biggest rip off. We paid and our bank would call us we would ask them if they had heard from Parsa and for months it was no...we had in nine months 4 different reps...each time I would have to go through all of the updates again...in the end we are entering foreclosure of our dream home that we paid $650, 000 for and is now worth $300, 000. Wells Fargo would not modify yet accepted financial bailout money. Some companies have no shame.
