It seems the Los Angeles Parking Violation Bureau is running a scam… by leaving tickets on a victims car stating one reason, then as the innocent victim try's to right the wrong, the bureau has put a completely different reason for the ticket on the books just to push it through.
I am a disabled vet and my fiancé has worked for AT&T for 30 years. She has gone through a brain Aneurism and a following seizure; that she is fighting back from. One day out of many years, we forgot to put our handy cap place card up after parking in a space that we have parked in to for years” at our home!
The ticket states... (NOT DISPLAYING HANDYCAP PLACQUR) But when I contacted the LA Parking Bureau the rep: Yvette stated that the reason the bureau ruled agents her was because the car was blocking the space not parked in the space? If some how that was possible due to the fact that if the car was out of the space in any way The hole lot would be blocked and now one could park in the hole lot. The car was in the spot just where we put it and it was not blocking anything. This is the USA! And I was proud to join the US Army! And Proud to lose the full use of my arm doing my duty but this makes me sick.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
THE SAME THING HAPPEN TO ME TWICE IN TWO MONTHS NOW HAVE THE 2ND TICKET TO DEAL WITH NOW...WAS SEATING AT MY DESK 20 FT FROM WHERE I WAS PARKED SAW CITY TICKET PERSON GIVING TICKET SAW THAT MY PLAQUE WAS NOT UP ON MY MIRROR WHEN OUT TO SHOW HIM HE SAID TO LATE. THEN FOUND OUT LATER HE DID NOT EVER TICKETED ME FOR THAT HE TICKETED ME FOR BLOCKING! BLOCK WHAT I WAS IN THE HANDICAP SPACE COLLECT BECAUSE THE LAST $300 TICKEY I GOT WAS FOR TO FAR INTO THE BAR //// AREA SO I WAS NOT PARKED WRONG JUST NO HANDICAP PLAQUE UP ONLY...WEST LA THREE BLOCK FROM THERE YARD WHERE THEY ALL COME FROM OR ARE GOING TO THE RANCHO PARK PARKING OFFICE OR YARD. THE OFFICERS NAME WAS LOPEZ #2996 SEAT 1201 AGENCY 51...ALSO I HAVE AIDS SO THIS IS WHY I HAVE HANDICAP SIGN SOME MEMORY LOSS...!
