I have had several times to the doctors office recently, high blood pressure being on of the minor reasons why I have visited the Doctors office, medically everything is fine...it is paying off the bill I send them in the payment for what I was billed for and in return I get a very insuslting call because I did not send them money for items that I was not billed for but it is coming and they are very insulting with the paper that they send with the bill, there attitude towards you, they could care less if your truly healthy, although the doctor and nurses I have nothing but good things to say about and all they want is your money or they threaten you...keep in mind my credit rating is very high...I will not be returning though because of the extra amount of stress that there accounting department creates for you.

Received this today from you: a 21 x 17 inch envelope to mail 3 tiny CPAP filters (which were within 2 plastic envelopes) is wasteful packaging. (The letter carrier thought it was empty.) I understand the need to use plastic for waterproofing the contents; my problem is the disproportionate size of the envelope.

One hardly knows where to begin. The scheduling phone line with an interminable wait and wretched background noise. (May not sound like a big deal, but try putting up with it when pain is pounding at various parts of your body.) MyChart errors. MyChart navigation varies based on how are you access it. Six month wait for a specialist I have seen previously. Never able to see my doctor when I’m actually sick even though I would not have expected to on the same day, but maybe sometime that week? Urgent care hustling me over to the emergency room without doing any testing of their own. Sitting in the emergency room for 7+ hours in agony surrounded by clearly contagious patients, also in agony. Finally discharged at 10 PM, no ride home, no available cabs, etc.

I am a 71-year-old woman with two chronic health conditions. I normally roll with whatever comes my way, but I guarantee if I felt better I would be pounding out the letters to whomever has authority over this preposterous institution. I have no doubt Park Nicollet has hastened illness and most likely even death.

Doctor says "I think you should get off Xanax.. you've been on Xanax for 7 years. I agreed. Daughter-in-law agreed also.
Doctor prescribed Trazone in place of Xanax.? Doc did not warn me about withdrawal of Xanxax. I quit cold turkey from Xanax. I feel a GOOD doc would inform me of withdrawal from Xanax. Day after withdrawal I fell on my floor. Next day I fell from toilet & head first into SIDE of my tub. I laid on my bathroom floor for 45 - 60 minutes. No phone with me. So many things happened after that second fall. Loss of memory, headaches, confusion. I cant remember or put sentences together like I could before. Doc should have weaned, informed me how stop taking that drug. Im on 2 month home care issued by another Doctor. I cant drive for 2 months. Now im informed I have new primary Doc. Why did first doc scram from me? She knows she didn't fulfill her duty. I may have to go live in a nursing home because of that woman doctor! Now who do I appeal to next? Injured Patient. Reply soon or I shall retain legal counsel.

I went in with a severe migraine, I asked that my migraine medication be renewed since it had expired a month earlier. I was new to Park Nicollet, but I had requested my old hospital send over records so they should have been able to note that I have had migraines for about 10 years. Since I was in day 5 of my migraine with no relief, I was in a lot of pain - instead of treating me for the pain - they refused, they put me in the emergency room for 8 hours, ran an MRI, wouldn't refill my original prescription because the emergency room doctor had a bias against it because it had adversely affected his mom so he instead gave me a short-term prescription to an opiod (which had I known it was an opiod I would NEVER have agreed), and recommended I see I migraine specialist - who, thankfully, renewed my prescription. End of the day, I lost a day of wages for myself and my husband since we are self-employed, and ended up with a $3000 bill...for a MIGRAINE for somebody that has a history of Migraines! Seems they could have treated the pain, told me to see the migraine specialist (the only helpful person in this whole scenario) and recommended if the migraine didn't go away or came back that severely once I had medication, THEN maybe it would make sense to go to the emergency room and have further testing because then perhaps it signified a more severe problem. So now I sit here knowing that I don't dare go into Park Nicollet with any other aches or pains as they seem to have predatory billing practices to get as much money as they can out of patients they should be caring for!

Park Nicollet stores do not return any phone calls. No one live ever answers. I leave a message and no one calls. This has been going on for a few years.

Original complaint person as well as the two comment complaint people, YES!? It's a corporation, not a doctors office. I'm an OB patient. Similar story, after a 5 minute initial conversation in early June, they determined me and my baby are "dying". Now it's Halloween and this has been a textbook normal pregnancy even though I refused unnecessary stuff they tried to bully me into doing. But because of my refusals, they now treat me like trash at each visit. I go weekly because my due date is near. Unfortunately this is the hospital I have to deliver at, so I have to stick it out a while longer, but my advice to anyone making a decision now... DO NOT GO TO PARK NICOLLET!

This is a true story about how Park Nicollet can screw you. Several years ago I had pains all over my body. Rather than check for a simple cause, I was given a stress test, an MRI and otherwise shuffled about "experts." The final stop was a pain clinic, for which I was not even examined. I has given several bottles of high class pain pills. When this ordeal was over and the CAUSE NOT DIAGNOSED after all this grief, my wife asked me if I had changed my shoes lately. Sure enough, I changed my shoes and my pains when away in about half an our. This is malpractice! I called the complaint department. They got mad. I wrote a letter to the highest ranking doctor there and got a letter back threatening to sue me. That was but ONE INCIDENT. Here is another. I could wake up with choking dreams. I was sent to a sleep clinic "expert" who wanted to put me in the hospital and "observe" me overnight. I declined. I started sleeping on the other side of the bed. That took care of my "disorder." The latest one is a "floater" doctors--no kidding that's the term, "diagnosed" me as having a heart murmur after the quickest stethoscope exam in medical history. EKG was normal. He then wanted an echocardiogram, which is BIG BUCKS. Something was fishy here. He made no other clinical exams. Didn't check for distended neck veins, swollen ankles nor blueish fingernails--common related signs. I checked up on this "doctor" and found he had a below normal rating. I declined the expensive "echocardiogram. What's next I wonder?

Park Nicollet is absolutely horrible. My 8 year old daughter has been having difficutly breathing. Yesterday it got quite bad and I called to speak to a nurse and get an appointment scheduled. They had no appointments this week but said they would call me back within the hour and get her fit in the following day. I called this morning and nobody knows anything about it. They put me through to the nurses line and after holding for over 30 minutes I have decided I will just take her to urgent care. This is the second time something like this has happened and I guess i am just lucky she can still breathe at this point. What do they do for an 8 year old that can't breathe? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING
