ParcelForce Parcel not delivered

A parcelforce driver has attempted delivery 3 times. On each occasion he didn't leave a card. I called royal mail and they put me through to parcelforce. They completely ignored the information I gave them. I have arranged for a delivery on Saturday which cost £12 and no one has contacted me for payment.

Where is my parcel now I don't know. Since lockdown ended a lot of companies don't want to talk to customers.

DO THE JOB YOU'RE PAID FOR. I Had to do a lot of searching to find out which carrier picked up the parcel when it came in from italy.

Desired outcome: I just want my parcel delivered

ParcelForce non-delivery

Order ID: [protected]

I paid for delivery of this item and gave instructions in case I was unavailable to take delivery. In fact both my wife and I were at home but instead of delivering the parcel a card was left in our mail box to go and collect from the Post Office. I am 86 years of age and this involved 2 visits to the Post Office.

This was not the service for which I paid a fee so I request you credit my account with the delivety charge

ParcelForce Parcel containing gifts from mother not deloivered and not returned to sender even though it was clearly marked with sender address details

Hi Complaints Board,

Please see my below complaint, it relates to an ongoing problem I've been having with your ParcelForce a 'sister' company of UK 'Royal Mail' I'm now escalating this to yourselves in the hope that you may be able to resolve this highly unsatisfactory situation.

The mail is appended below. I really hope something can be done to bring this to resolved this issue.

If you require any further information, feel free to contact me.

-----------------------------------------

Dear ParcelForce,

I am unsure how many characters you allow on this site but I doubt it would be enough to explain again my complaint in full.

The last mail I sent to y is appended at the foot of this message and already gives a summary of my reasons for complaint.

For added clarity I'll summarise again here in bullet point form : -

- I have not received a parcel (tracking number - FWOR0431527GB) sent to me by my mother towards the end
September 2013, I was travelling abroad on business and the parcel was delivered to an out of town post office so I was unable to have anyone collect it for me while I was away.

- My mother sent the parcel marked with a return address but although I was unable to collect it, it was never returned to the Sender

- I currently only have access to a mobile phone (no landline) and I have run up a significant charge ringing around your various call centres and being passed around numerous depots, outlets and Parcel force employees (I have an itemised phone bill as evidence)

- The last person I spoke to (Alan) ensured me the parcel was safe and would be sent to me just after Christmas and he had never heard of any the "Parc recovery" centre. As you can understand I was overjoyed to hear this but alas the parcel has still not arrived.
I commended him on being the most helpful of the numerous Parcelforce staff I'd already spoken to but as it turns out perhaps your this kind employee was merely intending to allow me a worry free Christmas?.

- The parcel contained over £200 worth of gift articles and I will be seeking compensation if this situation is not resolved adequately

Yours,

Kieran Finn

Enter your message: Hello,

After many phone calls to various Parcel force employees (Customer Support
and others). I was finally told a couple of days before Christmas by one of
your employees that my parcel was infact safe and would be delivered after
Christmas to my home address (given again below) - I was very happy to hear
this but as yet the parcel has still not arrived.

Please investigate this issue as a matter of urgency - the situation is
highly unsatisfactory and I will be escalating this as high as I can in order
to get this resolved.

Thanks and regards

ParcelForce Due compensation!

While I was in India earlier this year I decided to send a sitar back from Varanasi in the north as I had my full quota of plane baggage & an extra 150 quid was a little over the top to take it with me on my Emirates flight back home. Cost of about £60

So back from Varanasi P.O. it went the saturday before the thursday I returned. It arrived to be impounded at Customs (surprise!) on the friday after I got back. Good quick post that.

After having sent them bought proof/postage receipts from bought from shop in India, kindly got by fellow Brit, Katinka, who was still in India (how I would've got this had she NOT been there...) I got a letter from Parcelforce saying I was to be charged again for them paying for it to be released. OK!

When said sitar arrived I had the young driver watch as I unpacked the item only to find it damaged. I then went on Parecelforce's web site to claim & had a reply saying 'apologies' etc & could I send all receipts from India & pics of damage which I subsequently did. I then got an e-mail saying I had to get a claim form from the country I sent it.

Why this wasn't said in the first place is beyond me

Several times was I told this even after I asked how/where on earth I was to get said claim form, even after a CAB threat.

Being totally ignored from then on, I went to Citizens' Advice who rang &, EVENTUALLY, after much pursuing of 'relevant people' was given an address.

Nowhere on this site is a downloadable compensation claim form.

ParcelForce HORRIBLE

They may guarantee 3-5 day delivery, but they really mean a month... Why? Because they have to send your package to every other city in the country before they can get it right! Parcelforce is the worst delivery company I have ever dealt with and should not be in business with these things constantly happening. The first time I used them, they lost 1 of 2 boxes but it eventually showed up (with 1/2 the contents broken) and the second time, they changed the outer labels and gave me someone else's box from a city hours away, meanwhile, I am still waiting for my box to arrive! Parcel Force is not even worthy of an F ... more like a Z!

ParcelForce lost computer screen

I bought a computer via ebay last year, the computer was sent via parcelforce in three parts, part one containing the computer arrived with the back of the case having been smashed in a few centimeters, fair enough the computer itself works, the keyboard and mouse arrived no problems with them, but to be honest i never tested them as i prefer my current mouse and keyboard.
The screen arrived from england to denmark, and then nothing happened, i waited 3 weeks but it just stayed there, then i contacted their email and got a reply stating that my email had been forwarded to the department handling lost goods, ok, waited a week more, recieved an email that stating yet again that my email had been forwarded to the correct department, after that i tried calling parcelforce directly, but kept getting unknown number msg's, i tried both my mobilephone and my landline.
after some time i got an email with a phonenumber i could try calling, i called them and lo and behold the number actually worked, the one who took my call sent me on a wild goose chase giving me a new number leading to yet another number leading to another number leading in the end to a number that didnt work. emailed the first guy complaining and he sent me email to a girl who finally seemed to want to help me
find my package again.

well, she wrote to their danish "agents" who in turn sent a letter to me asking to have me fill out a form and send it back in a prepaid envelope they supplied, form filled out and sent off. some time after that i tried contacting the girl again she said she hadnt heard anything yet, but would be sure to let me know when something came up.
well, i waited and i waited and nothing happened so i wrote to her again. She appoligied, and said that the package had been declared lost, and that she thought one of her collegues had contacted me and advice me on how to act from there, the guy never called, and she didnt write anything about what i could do. So i tried writing to her a few times but she never replied. well, i went back to the source and wrote directly to parcelfarce got a reply saying that i should have gotten the sender to ask for a refund at the altest 30 days after the parcel was sent, with the whole story of what happened, that was about 8 months after the parcel was sent, so a bit late for that, instead i copied of all emails etc and sent them of and recieved the exact same email respons again, tried it yet again and got the same email respons, got a hold of the seller to my knowledge he has wrote them a letter more then a week ago, but hasnt gotten a reply yet.

Can it really be true that if they "loose" your parcel and then run rings around you for a month they win your parcel? i mean what kindof ###ed up ### is that!

can anyone help me with this? if there is anything to do that is...

In advance, thanks.
-Logan

Totally waste of time and money! Paid 180pounds for 4 days express delivery, and the item's not delivered after TWO MONTHS! Helpline IS NOT helping at all, the staff there can not provide any help, once you paid the money for their services then THAT'S IT! No one cares about anything anymore!

Sent a 5kg parcel from the UK to Australia containing clothing we no longer needed on our holiday, took 3 months to arrive. When it did all we got was the empty box! It cost 69 pounds to ship plus 50 pounds worth of gear in the parcel. Now I have paperwork to fill out and send off and I hate paper work!

ParcelForce Inefficient and Poor service

The parcel was dispatched from India on the 8th of January, 2009. It arrived in the UK on the 11th of January, 2009. It was delivered to me on the 4th of February, 2009.

Even though my address was clearly visible on the envelope, no attempt was made to deliver the parcel to me. On the 30th of January, when I tried to collect my parcel from the Charlton Depot (where it was being held), I had to wait for 45 minutes before being told that the parcel was nowhere to be found! I was told that a depot search would be made after they closed down for the day, and that was the only chance of locating the parcel.

The next day I received a call telling me it was still missing. On Wednesday, the 4th, they called me and told me that the parcel had been found and that it was to be delivered that same day. Now, I had to goto University that day, so when I came back, I found that the parcel had just been shoved through the door! Instead of leaving a 'Sorry we missed you card', they just delivered the letter and left. I was under the impression that these sort of deliveries requires a signature from the recipient on delivery, however, in this case, I doubt that the deliveryman would have wanted to hand me the parcel, seeing the condition it is in.

I completely agree, something similar has happened to me! Although they delivered my package to 3 other people first! (I am still waiting on it to be delivered, if it ever will be!)
