On 13 september 2017 i took my 9 year old daughter to panorama mediclinic round about 10 in the morning. She had fever and severe sore throat for 2 days. Did not want to eat or drink. My gp advised to take her so she could receive iv fluids. Arriving there there was 3 patients in waiting room. I after admission i waited in a chair with child on my lap for 3 freaken hours. I know about triaging and know that they prioritize accotdingly but did not see any red patients arriving so we waited and waited. 2 drs on duty. Then i was asked to go to a room said pediatric patients they said dr will attend now. Waited another 45 min then male nurse came in and said i must go and sit in chair again with child on my lap then want to use this bed. At this stage my child beg me to go home. I said to the staff in the unit thanks but will go to netcare n1 city. Helped there within 15 min -although they are also busy. An iv was administered immediately. She was admitted and have a severe throat infection crp sky high wcc sky high dehighdrated but sitting at posh panorama for 4 hours like in a state hospital and discovery must pay you the [censored] sky high money for that service. Then you invest your money in adverts of how great you are.
