Panera Bread employment

Hello my name is Christopher Theobald and I was a very good employee for the 2 weeks I worked with this company. The drama in the workplace was outrageous but I TRIED to lay low. I was accused of doing numerous petty "mistakes" For example while the manager was showing me how to make coffee I watched with my hands in my apron and she told me not to "stand around with my hands in my apron it really irks my nerves" And another example was I was accused of having an attitude when clearly the customer was disgusted with her attitude and the customer and I were in complete agreement over her obscenity. But the real reason for my message today is that they had an employee work who was deathly ill or very very sick and I think he got me sick because my sons been sick for 3 days and I didn't even get a cough. This guy comes to work looking like death and I get sicker than crap (mind you I haven't missed one hour of work at all) and I call in sick for one day 2/15/19 and im off the following 2 days. They tell me to call today 2/17/19 and the manager "robin" Who didn't even hire me fires me for "no call no showS" And I said I would "try" To make it in and she said "well you didn't call back so that's a no call no show were gonna have to let you go" This is asinine! Somebody please explain how this kind of behavior is tolerated?!?! Disgusting.

Panera Bread didn't get my food, rude employee, and unhelpful manager.

Hello,

I am a regular customer at the North First Street in San Jose branch. I visit there once or twice in a week during lunch time with my colleagues.

Today, Feb 11th, during lunch time 12.30ish pm. I ordered my food on the console, with #96 but my food didn't come for 20 minutes. I went asked the server, the kitchen, and they asked me for my last name and couldn't find the number. I went to front desk where the lady asked me to check the bank account if the order went through. I spent over 10 minutes telling them that I am a regular customer who buys stuff and I know I completed my order.

I had to walk out and buy lunch at another place and came back show my bank transaction that the amount was charged. I talked to the Manager who was equally rude and said I can return the money, and he did. But my experience working with Panera was horrible, and I would not return there ever.

The Manager I talked to is Rodrigo and front desk person is Jocylyn. I wouldn't ever go the branch unless you take an action and followup as why my order was missing, when I was charged for it. The transaction was #96, and transaction #204481 $11.56 in the name of Tarun Dwivedi. The manager said it was software error as the order was missing, I don't think he's telling the truth, if he's telling the truth, then how come I got charged for the order when it was not submitted to the kitchen.

I will go to twitter by end of this week, if I don't hear back on what exactly happened.

Panera Bread fuji chicken salad

My salad had a piece of tomato again. This salad cost me $9.84. This is the third time. I choose to bring my salad home today. My profile has my allergies listed. These simple mistakes can kill me. I love eating at Panera. But the carelessness of not paying attention to customers allergies. I would like a credit on my gift card. I get gift cards every year as gifts.

Panera Bread customer care

I go to Panera every Monday-Friday in the morning with my mom and daughter and every time I order a smoothie I end up waiting 15-20 minutes for it. This morning I waited 10 minutes to be told that they can't make it. The milk for the coffees were watered down so I ended up wasting $10 for nothing. Since they are under new management the staff has been rude they don't greet the customers and they didn't seem to care or apologize when they mess up on someone's order. A month ago my mom found a staple in her sandwich, she was only refunded her money back nothing else. My mother and I will most likely not returning after this.

Panera Bread drink made wrong

Today February, 1st I ordered a chai tea latte with almond milk from my local Panera. I ordered this to go as I was in a hurry. Once I tried it in the car I was very upset as whatever they gave me had absolutely no chai tea in it. It tasted like warmed up almond milk. I was very disappointed to say the least. I would like to be credited for this drink and for this Panera location to review how to properly make their drinks.

Panera Bread salad/customer service

I went to Panera on my lunch break. First, the staff was pretty rude. It was busy so they probably were stressed out. Ordered my lunch and waited for my to-go order. Asked for EXTRA salad dressing but received no salad dressing. I drove 20 minutes there and back for them to forget it. Even when I asked if they got the extra dressing they said yes. Very disappointed. This is the second time they messed up my order and also the 5th time I have been disappointed with the customer service.

Panera Bread delivery driver actions

I work at 6 Cadillac Drive in Brentwood, TN. I'm disgusted with your drivers repeatedly parking in marked and designated Handicap Parking areas at our office building. This morning (1/30) at 8:35 am, the young male driver of a silver car parked in the closest handicapped space to the building entrance. This space is reserved for vans equipped with wheelchair ramps. If he is going to violate the law -- since he is able to run in and out of the building -- please ask him to at least find a designated handicap space that is not the closest space available.

Panera Bread gift card information not used. food was horrible

Order # [protected] 1/23/19. I am sending you this email now, it was very difficult to find out customer service with out calling.
I placed order online.. I had entered in the gift card information never took it off. $25. I thought I was entering in my debit card for the remaining balance. You charged the whole thing. I threw away my gift card that day as I thought it processed.
My sandwich half chipotle chicken avocado melt. The chicken was horrible. It was large pieces of fat. And rubber. It was so gross I tossed the whole thing after one bite. I was so sick from it. The baja mac & cheese may have been good but I couldn't eat it now since the chicken made me sick. The avocado on it was black like had been sitting out for long time.
My co workers chicken noodle soup was cold and same thing with the chicken. I paid for the whole order. Since I had the gift card.
This is the most horrible lunch experience ever. And my gift card amount is lost now. I'm very disappointed in this experience.

Panera Bread gift cards

When I purchased $50 in gift cards for christmas I received a $10. I was told that it would be good after January 1st. I went to use it yesterday January 24th and was told it was rejected, then I was told it was no longer valid. I was never told that it had an expiration date. I was totally embarrassed and left the store and don't know when I will return.

Panera Bread bowl of chicken noodle soup

I got a to go order of Chicken Noodle soup and added a 1/2 sandwich for $2.99. The soup was almost $10. Once I was back on the interstate I opened the soup and it was very small. I paid $10 for a bowl of soup, which I thought was high but was assuming it was a larger portion. I took pics but not sure if it will let me load them. I couldn't turn around bc we are in a hurry for work. I am super disappointed. I feel like I was ripped off. Won't be ordering that again.

Panera Bread orange scones or orange sconettes

I was disappointed to see the size of your Orange Scones diminish. I had to ask if they were orange scones because they definitely did not look the same-same price though. I often buy Panera Bread gift cards, but when I use my last Panera Bread Gift Card, I WON'T be back. Went to Panera Bread in Knoxville, TN on 1/22/2019. Check Number 126650. I don't think you can resolve the issue unless you go back to the full original size of scones.

Panera Bread chicken noodle soup at home

Microwaved the soup as instructed. Someone handed it to me once removed. The lit exploded off soup burnted both my hands. Had to go to workman's comp doctor. My one hand is bandaged with 2nd degree burns as the other hand has 1st degree burns on 2 fingers. Need to see the doctor again in two days along with taking ibuprofen and prescription cream. This had to be one of the most painful things i have experienced. I believe the lid is faulty.

Panera Bread unavailability of pre-order

We travel to Albuquerque regularly and use this Panera because it is near our hotel.

I used the mobile Panera app to order the night before.
I specified 7:30 am pick up. At about 7:10 am I received a call from the store saying that 5 soufflés would not be ready on time. I asked when could it be ready and was told that they will be ready at 7:45. We left the hotel & arrived at Panera around 7:45am.

When I went to pick up the takeout order It was not available.

I asked Valerie what had happened. She became very angry at my asking questions and told me that she would deliver to our table if we would sit and wait.

About 10 minutes later I went to pick the up station to ask status.

Valerie was very upset saying that this Panera did not bake this many product. Therefore none were done the night before.

I found this confusing because I had sent my order in around 6 pm the night before. Clearly there would've been a notification to Panera.

We want to continue with Panera at this location.

Panera Bread manager

I'm here today to finally submit a complaint about my general manager at the Panera in Rosenberg Texas. The manager Cara is very rude to her employees she talks behind their backs to another manager. Instead of telling us what we are doing wrong she goes and talks about our mistakes. Also, I work cash and whenever I'm waiting to serve the food she always slams the food bowl/plates down. The atmosphere surrounding her is always uncomfortable, she has favorites, she blames other employees for what her favorite employees do. Every time I work with her, actually every time me an my co workers work with her our days just turn out badly and the business isn't good. She also makes us feel so little about ourselves because whenever we talk to her or ask her questions she looks at us like "what are you even doing here". A lot of my old coworkers have quit because of how she made them feel. She also doesn't give me the breaks I need it is always on and off some days I get breaks and other days I don't and when I get home my feet are so sore, and I'm only a teen working part time. Finally, she complains about how we are not fast enough but that's because she only has 5 people working working one in each station which makes the service really slow because there isn't a lot of help. Please help us solve this problem because it is really wearing us down and this is my first job, but instead of teaching me the proper way of working hard all I know is that we get belittled for not doing enough.

Panera Bread service and efficiency at location on 13672 sw 88th st miami, fl 33186

Let me begin by saying that I have never made a complaint about any restaurant and am a frequent customer at Panera. I have always enjoyed the food, the friendly service, and the comfortable atmosphere. Today, however, was the opposite of what my normal experience usually is. It was a busy morning and they seemed to be fully staffed, but the line was out the door and people were waiting a long time to be served. I placed three orders and all three were incorrect and the bread was burnt. It took 40 minutes for me to then get a toasted bagel and then it was burnt when I got it. The only coffee they had was the decaf. All the coffee dispensers and half & half canisters were empty. There were no lids or Splenda. I kindly asked if they could be replaced and they were but they seemed very annoyed and flustered. The breakfast sandwiches my daughter's friend bought were supposed to be with over easy eggs and were made with scrambled eggs. She ended up just eating them like that because it would have taken another 30 minutes to be served. There was spilled honey on the counter and when I made a worker aware of it, she rolled her eyes. Like I said, it was a busy morning and maybe the staff was inexperienced but I was very disappointed. What should have been a nice weekend breakfast with my kids turned into a very frustrating morning. I have been a Panera card member for a long time although I don't always use it... I am not sure if there is a resolution for what happened today, but I wanted to let you know so that this doesn't continue to happen. I don't want to change my go-to place for delicious soufflés and sandwiches (and scones, my favorite)! If it's at all possible to get a credit on my Panera card or a gift certificate so that I can take the kids again for a more enjoyable experience, I would really appreciate it.

Panera Bread spicy thai chicken salad

I ordered the spicy thai chicken salad tonight on my way to work about 830 pm and when I got to work I noticed it was missing several ingredients and they gave me the wrong dressing. All I received was romaine lettuce, chicken and wanton strips. There was only one cup of dressing and it was the wrong kind. I was very disappointed with this salad and would like a refund.

On 1/15/2019 my wife and I stopped and ordered food at the Panera Cafe 0992, Estero, Fl. 34135. My wife ordered -- 1 cup creamy tomato so ----- @ 3.99
1 1/2 Four che tomato sdw-- @ 4.19
1 1 apple
I ordered -- 1 1/2 Ham & Swiss sdw ----- @ 4.19 that I was charged 5.29 for. ( $1.10) more than what I thought I should have been charged and what the menue said the price was. I went back on the 16th and asked the order taker why the up-charge was for. He said that because I did not order a "Pick 2" second item there was the extra charge. No where on the menue was the price $5.29 listed. A 26% charge or penality is with no explination can only be described as a poor business practice. I will be sure to worn any and all that I come in contact with that they stand a good chance of being swindled at Panera. Stay away!

Panera Bread quality issue

My order on Jan. 9, 2018 from panara's.in Johnson City TN was not of their usual quality. I've attached a copy of my receipt showing what was ordered. There was no fete cheese, of which k paid extra, two Kalamata olives. The size ordered was a large, the bowl wasn't filled half way up. I've had their salads often and never had this problem before. It was a huge disapointment. I've paid over $10 for a salad that looked like a side salad at a greasy spoon diner. Not pleased at all with quality or quantity.

Panera Bread catering order not done/prepared on the day of pick-up

I ordered the popular bundle online for pick up at this café on January 5, 2019 at 12:00pm-12:15pm. I arrived at the store at 12:40pm. The store manager was not aware of any catering orders for pick-up that day. Went ahead and checked their system then informed me it wasn't made yet although it is already passed the "Pick-up time ready of 12:00pm". My event supposed to start at 1:00pm. The manager told me they will make it and it would only take 15 minutes. I patiently said okay. I waited there while they were making it. It took about 40 minutes to finish all my order. It was completed at 1:35 pm. I was already late for the event!
The manager did not even offer anything for the inconvenience. I even added 5 more cookies, and she let me pay for it! She could have just gave it for free since I waited another 40 minutes for them to complete my order. I ended up being late for the event with all the embarrassment.
If it says Time ready by: 12:00, I expect it to be ready by 12:00pm. or maybe a little behind is acceptable, I even arrived late at 12:40pm.
but the café not being able to pick up the order and not making it at all is totally unacceptable. It caused a lot of anxiety and inconvenience to the customer who expects her order to be ready by then.

this is the 2nd time I had a problem with catering orders from this café. I did not submit a complain on the 1st time it happened thinking it was just an isolated incident. but 2nd offense should be escalated so proper resolution would be initiated.

I would like to request for refund for a service not delivered properly to the customer. Thank you.

I have had issues in past with more than one account and this was rectified locally but I am still having issues.
