Panera Bread customer treatment

The manager was very rude towards me as a customer. I was in a relaxed position in a booth and she very rudely confronted me and said "don't lay down this isn't a hotel". I felt very attacked by her attitude it is a shame that such people with no customer care skills are hired. This was on March 11th at 5:00 pm.

Panera Bread rude behavior after bad panini

I went to panera bread in Manchester CT near evergreen promenade. This is newly opened and my experience at this cafe was very bad 2nd time. I have ordered tomato and mozzarella panini which was pathetic to see just one slice tomato with hardly any mozzarella inside. when I took the panini back to them they were very rude and unapologetic. They made a new panini after discussing for sometime and gave me back on a piece of paper. I had to ask again for plate and my sides. Least expected behavior from Panera Bread.

Date - 3/10/17

Panera Bread I am a former employee

Two weeks ago my check came in. I was notified by the general manager that it was there. He asked if I would pick it up or they could mail it. I stated due to a contagious illness I would prefer if it was mailed.
I waited about a week. No check. I called and left 3 messages and sent two more emails to GM.
Did not hear again until I sent an email stating that I had contacted his superior. Two words were in his email. IT is. I think that meant the check had been mailed.
He said if I needed faster response to emails to call them and/ or send an email. I responded back with I had called and left messages three times. I have heard nothing since and still no check.
Can someone please tell me where my check is, has it been mailed and why I have been treated so rudely about the whereabouts of my money?

Panera Bread horrible service

Today 3/09/2017 at 2:55 my daughter placed an order for me at our local Panera bread. I was on the phone with her telling her what exactly to order. I got off the phone with her once she left the facility. She gets home and there wasn't a fruit cup that I purchased .So I called and spoke with a supervisor named Sherry who was very rude to me. Asking me am I sure I didn't receive it and that the cashier should've gave it to her which she didn't. She told me my 23year old daughter was lying to me which is crazy. She was so upset that I had called about a missing item that I paid $1.39 for. I spent $28.65 with them today why cant I have everything I paid for. She told me I better ask my daughter again. I'm so upset I'm in tears right now.

Panera Bread asain sesame chicken salad

I am very irritated at Panera for taking the Asian sesame chicken salad. It was my favorite thing that your company served. I never go there anymore because the only thing I would ever get there was the asain sesame chicken salad. My friends and I are very upset and miss this salad a lot.I would greatly appreciate it if you would consider adding this item back on the menu. Thank you for your time.

Panera Bread ordered vegetarian food and found out non vegetarian food

Hi Sir,

My name is Ashish More. I am working in Unilever Lipton Plant in Suffolk VA.

I am having some foreign Delegates for whom I have ordered food from Panera bread, those delegates are vegetarian and hence I have specifically requested to get Mediterranean Veggie sandwiches. But the ordered came as and it contains Bacon and Chicken which by mistake one of our delegates consumed. This was really shameful for us. My apology to them will is worthless now.

Even after specifically informing to give veggie food still we found meat. This is completely unacceptable. Hence I would like to place a complain for the same.

Panera Bread food poisoning

I ate the frontega chicken panini and half a chicken Cesar salad yesterday at your West Bloomfield Twp, MI location. I noticed that the panini tasted a bit odd but chalked that up to being from a different location than I'm used to as this particular spot just opened. That was the last thing I ate and a few hours later I experienced severe cramping and nausea, followed by vomiting and diarrhea so intense that there are several burst blood vessels on my face. I've also had to miss a day of work. I have been eating at Panera bread for years and have never experienced this. I would like to know what you are going to do to make this right.

Panera Bread terrible service

I frequent the Farmington, Mo Panera several times a week but after this week I will not be returning. The staff there are rude and could care less about the customers . I had a girl named Shelby wait on me and all she did was talk to the other employee and I had to keep repeating my order to her. She then looked at me and said I heard your order. Is this how panera trains their employees? Panera is going to loose a lot of business if they don't train their employees that customers are there bread and butter!

Panera Bread unethical behavior

Good Afternoon,

So I normally never feel the need to complain but this time I am because of how unfairly I feel I was treated and I never want someone to have to go through the same thing that I did.

So at the end of last November, I applied for a job with Panera in Blacksburg because I wanted to make a little extra money to put towards Haven, my new venture that I've been working on and this seemed like a great opportunity due to my previous experience and the NOW HIRING big sign hanging by their window. I went in on December 1st for an in-person interview, and one of the managers said that my application looked great and that they would be in touch with me shortly- no longer than a week or two. I shook her hand and left, and for the next 6 weeks I waited for a phone call, email, etc.; nothing came.

When I came back to Blacksburg in January for recruitment after winter break, I called again and asked for an update on my application. Management said that that they had lost both my application and my interview over the holidays, and if I was still interested that they could meet the following week. Somewhat frustrated, I still agreed to take time out of my schedule to redo it all because I love Panera and really wanted to work there. The next week I came back in and filled out another application, and redid an entire interview. I had previous work experience in every job they were hiring, (cashier, runner, and prepping) and was offering very flexible for hours as well. The interview went well, and I was told he would get back to me in a few days to let me know what the deal was.

SO LONG STORY SHORT: This last interview was almost 3 weeks ago, and never did I ONCE get a call back from them. Finally, this weekend I went inside and politely asked for a manager. I waited for 15 minutes and then a lady that I have never met before, named Erin Friend, rudely pulled me aside and said "What can I do for you." I told her the situation briefly, and that I had not heard back. She responded, "We reviewed your application and decided we don't want to hire you." And then I asked, "Are you guys not hiring anyone at this time?" and she said "Yeah we're hiring people. Just not you." And that was that.

I am livid at the way this was handled. This was the most unprofessional form of management I have ever experienced. Waiting 3 months for a job I was qualified for only to have redone 2 applications and 2 interviews and never got a call back or a reason why they didn't want to hire me. I wasn't even worth a phone call, much less a reasoning for why I didn't get hired. So rude and unprofessional.

I am not only mad at how it was handled, but my application was lost with all of my personal information including my social security number, addresses, previous work experience, etc. This is dangerous especially in this day and age and a threat to my personal safety and security. I don't know what contacting corporate will do for me at this point, but I felt that I needed to share my experience, feelings, and concerns because I feel so incredibly cheated.

I am also in sorority here on campus, and we always use this Blacksburg Panera for catering and mass take out orders to feed our chapter of around 273 girls as well as their family. I will not be using this Panera anymore after the horrible experience I had, and I will be letting my chapter know why too.
Thank you for taking the time to read my email, and I look forward to hearing back from you soon.

Panera Bread customer service bismark north dakota and zephyrhills, fl

Lets start by saying I have already sent a complaint about the Bismark North Dakota location back in October 2016 and have never received a response but I am assuming Panera Bread really could care less about its consumers. So I will send again along with my home town complaints.

In October I traveled to N. Dakota and stopped in the Bismark location. My favorite thing at Panera are the Souffles. It was 11:42 am exactly and I am assuming 12 minutes past the time for breakfast, but displayed so scrumptiously in the front case are 4 beautiful Souffles. So me and my husband order 2 of them just to be told they cannot sell those to us because breakfast stopped at 11:30 am. I said to the cashier really its 12 min past and you are displaying the souffles but wont sell them. She rudely responds again NO! Really don't make sense because Panera Bread would rather discard them then sell them? if they are displayed shouldn't they be able to sell the souffles even if its 12 min past breakfast. It would have been nice if Panera cared to even respond.

Fast Forward to my home town Zephyrhills, FL
For the past month and a half I try to stop in Panera drive thru at least 3 days a week on my way to work. Now note Panera opens at 7 am and I am usually in commute anywhere from 8:15 am to 9:30 am Every time I order a souffle and every time I am told that they are out. REALLY! When do you figure out that these are in high demand and make more? I usually will order something else but today I was just over it and left and took my business elsewhere. Not like Panera Bread cares about the complaints!

Panera Bread I did not receive my order or hear back from panera bread when I emailed customer service last sunday 2-19-17

On 2-19-17 around 8 PM I placed an order at the Citrus Heights restaurant at Greenback and Sunrise, paid for it, and did not receive my order. I requested my money back. The manager gave me the money back for my pick two, but did not apologize or say why I did not receive my order. I emailed customer service on the same day and have not heard back. I would like to hear back from Panera.

Panera Bread customer service

I was just recently at Panera bread in Eden Prairie, and I did not have a good experience. I am very disappointed with the service that I received. I asked one of the workers if a bag was my food, and she responded fine, but afterwards glared at me and my friend, and I felt uncomfortable. She handed me my food after, and when I opened it to eat it at home, I was missing a fork and my bread was torn. I do not think this is a coincidence. I hope this problem will be solved, otherwise I will no longer be a customer of Panera bread.

Panera Bread 4 mistakes with drive-thru order

The ink in the printer that produced my receipt was bad and half of receipt not legible but I have it with the date visible and a partial transaction #, but the problem occurred on Friday February 24, 2017. It was approx 1:30 in the afternoon. We decided to go to the drive thru order due to a time constraint and placed our order for a pick 2 (sandwich and salad), toasted sesame bagel with butter on it, 2 green teas and 2 almond raspberry cookies. When we pulled away from the window my sister said the bag seemed light so we looked and the sandwich was not there. I had to park and go in to ask for the sandwich. We pulled out to go and park nearby to eat and we realized there was only one cookie so drove back and had to go back in a second time for that. We pulled out again to go park and eat and discovered that there was no fork for the salad...back for a third time. At this point time to eat lunch was gone, I was definitely annoyed and to make it worse, the manager was clearly not managing his staff because each time I went in he was chatting with a customer that he clearly knew. By the time we were able to finally try to eat lunch my sister opened her bagel that she had asked to be toasted with butter on it and it was cold, hard and had no butter on it. I was completely done at this point and didn't go back. It was a completely disappointing experience and would never recommend the Malta NY Panera to anyone, nor go there again. At the least I would like a refund for the $21.02 that was spent.

Panera Bread charged my panera card and order had timed out.

I swiped my Panera card and placed an order on the Kiosk machine I turned to ask the worker a question and when I looked back it had timed out on me. When I went to re-do the order I swiped my card again and it claimed I didn't have any money on it. Which I knew that I did but I believe it took it off with the first transaction. No way to prove this. I think your Kiosk Machines need to be looked at. If this is set up to take peoples money you need to look at this more closely. I will never order through your Kiosk again. Fustrated customer.

Panera Bread customer service protocol

I placed my order using the Panera Bread Android app pon February 2nd, 2017. I ordered the Pick 2, choosing a Bread Bowl version of the potato soup, a Greek salad and a side of chips. I picked up my order fine, made it all the way home, and realized that the bread bowl was not included in my order. I debated whether or not I wanted to leave my house again to go all the way back to Panera Bread, and I made my decision by going back into the app to make sure that it did in fact cost me extra to order it as a bread bowl. I went back to Panera and told them what happened, and they promptly gave me a bread bowl.

Here is where my issue lies: I brought my bag back in, in which I had the garbage from my eaten potato chips along with all of my food, and I showed the cashier my receipt. She takes the bag from me with no explanation, carries it over somewhere, returns and says "Sorry bout that." A few moments later another man appears, handing me my bag, telling me (with a smile) that he added my bread bowl in there...and again a "sorry bout that."
Okay great. However, by this time, my soup is lukewarm. And partially eaten because I didn't know whether or not I was going to return to the Panera in the first place, and after all I spent my money on this food intending to enjoy eating it. The staff was very friendly, don't get me wrong, but I feel this was a totally incorrect protocol of customer service. I have been a server/bartender at Olive Garden for 2 years now, and customer satisfaction is our utmost priority. I did not feel as though my satisfaction was the utmost priority of this Panera Bread establishment.

Panera Bread panera oneonta free bagel

I go at 6:30 this morning. Told them I got an email offer for a free bagel every day for February, I ordered a cinnamon crunch - my favorite. I got to the window and they said they ran out of cinnamon bagels. It was 630 AM! I ordered a different one. They said 1:30
I said what? It should be free, they said the bagel is free but the cream cheese is not. Ridiculous,

Being a regular customer of Panera since 2002, on 3/11/2017, I went to the Panera Bread in Irvine, CA (Woodbury Town Center, 6372 Irvine Blvd, Irvine, CA 92620) to get some work done while eating there. While doing may taxes online, I locked my laptop and went outside to make a phone call (didn't want to disturb customers). While outside on the phone and keeping an eye on my stuff inside, I see one of the staff (Darian) taking my laptop, sunglasses, and my bag to the kitchen in the back. As soon as I came in he saw me and said these are your stuff to which I responded yes. I then asked him why you unplugged my laptop and taking my stuff without my permission to which he responded they were left unattended and that Panera doesn't want to take liability. Moreover he said he didn't know who they belonged to. This is bizarre, if he truly didn't know who they belonged to then why he asked me if they belonged to me when he saw me. Still I was OK with the incident and gave them benefit of the doubt as they wanted to protect my stuff and not taking them. What followed was rather the most unprofessional experience of my life with Panera. When I saw the Manager (Ryan), I told him that they should not have simply unplugged my laptop (which resulted in loss of Tax data in Turbo Tax). He responded by saying "It's no big deal" to which I responded it is a big deal because I lost my data. He just walked away as if nothing had happened. When I asked him "Sir i would like to have your first name and last name" he responded by saying "ISIS". Wow, where did that come from? I then asked him again "what is your name" and he responded "what is your name?" I then got his name from his shirt tag. Generally, I have always had good experience with Panera. Managers and Staff are courteous and go out of their way to help customers. But this incident was something new and this manager (Ryan) had an element of racism in him too.

So, why did I bother to write this? Well, being a professional, I know companies spend lots of money on advertisement to get their name out there and build a good reputation. I took time to write this because I like Panera and I don not want an unprofessional, racist individual ruin a company's reputation. Hope the company takes further action to discipline this individual. Bottom line, a manager should not be confrontational, combative, and/or argumentative. This hurts business badly over a long term period.

Panera Bread breadless sandwich

I am doing KETO and cannot eat any bread. Not even the crumbs off of a sandwhich that might end up in some cheese. Please allow the Dothan, Al store to offer me a "bread less" sandwhich. I offered to pay full price of course and they could keep the bread! But the manager said no. I love Panera bread and I have alot of KETO friends who love it too! We would love a fresh bread less sandwhich and we would love to not have to beg for it.

Thank you in advance!

Panera Bread slow service

Be prepared to stay in line awhile if you want breakfast at Panera Bread's 4th Street store in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. They're *really* slow.
There will be 4 or 5 people in line when you get there and several more show up after you (like today) and there will only be one slowpoke cashier taking orders. When I go to other Paneras, they will have 2 people taking orders when it gets to 4 or 5. If you don't get there at least a half hour early you can forget about the breakfast menu!
Also note that the morning mgr (I think that's who that was) had a snarky attitude when I brought over their empty container for raw sugar and just let her know it was empty. She gave me an ugly look and attitude to match.
Food is good as usual but attitude stinks. Since this location is right across the street from a major very busy outlet mall, and they've been there awhile, you would think they'd have gotten the timing and customer service by now. Lame.
