Panera Bread sandwich made with unwanted stuff

I ordered a chicken sandwich with avocado and lettuce with signature sauce. What I got was TURKEY which i hate, a very small amount of avocado even though I paid for extra! And MELTED CHEESE which I didn't request AND I'm lactose intolerant. The same Panera (in sparta NJ) messed up my sandwich order last week (they gave me cheese seprratly wrapped up in paper...)
I spent $18/change that time and $14/change this time. I refuse to spend my money at Panera bread after having TWO horrible expierences. Shane on Sparta NJ Panera, I've gone so many times and NEVER had any complaints until this! I want a refund for both purchases!

Panera Bread poor service and product

I quite enjoy the food at Panera and generally the ambiance of the restaurants. I've noticed over the last 10 years a general decline in the quality of the experience when I go to Panera. The food I think is still good, however I feel the service has gotten much worse. A feeling that has been once again reinforced this past Sunday (11/19/17).

I went to the Springdale, OH location twice over the weekend due to convenience and quality of the food. Wait times for food both times was at least 10-15 minutes despite not being very busy. I don't know if there is a general inability to attract people to work at Panera that have good worth ethic or general hustle, but I've seen a decline in the quality of employees that are fulfilling food orders. Most of them seem to be tattooed and pierced and moving like they are swimming in molasses. I don't really care about appearance if the service is good. The kid working the sandwich station on Sunday seemed to be having issues constructing sandwiches. This is not a complex task. Most times I order a sandwich that comes with onions, but I request that they not be added. Immediately after ordering I have to go watch them make my sandwich and most times I have to stop them from adding the onions. It is right there on the screen! How tough is it to make a sandwich to order?

On Sunday, I dined in and then ordered a to-go order for a friend. This friend was working at a nearby convention and was relying on me to bring her some lunch. She asked for a chicken salad sandwich on wheat. The order was fulfilled (after 10-15 minutes) and I left to deliver my friend's lunch. When I got there and she opened it up, I saw that 1.) there was very little chicken salad on the sandwich, 2.) it was unsliced, and 3.) the bread used was maybe two thirds the size of a normal Panera sandwich. That's because the kid working the sandwich station used small slices of bread from the extreme end of the loaf that should never be used for sandwiches. For the money paid for this sandwich, it should have been full sized and loaded with chicken salad.

It's pathetic and there is no excuse for it. Panera just gets worse and worse over time. Train your people or pay more so you can get some quality workers. Even the cashiers seemed to be disinterested. I had to tell the girl that my order was "to go" three times because she seemed unable to focus on the fact that she was at work instead of wherever her mind was taking her.

I don't know how many more chances I can give to Panera. It's more than 50% of the time now that my orders have problems.

Panera Bread food quality

I ordered two Mediterranean veggie sandwiches for rapid pick up around closing time tonight. One without hummus, both with French baguettes. The French baguettes were hard as a rock. Both sandwiches didn't have hummus on it, and one sandwich was a disaster. The bread broke down the middle on both halves (pic attached). When I opened the sandwich up, there was hardly any veggies in it.
I get that I picked up the order 5 minutes til close but I'm not impressed with this service at all.

Did you try to bring the food back with your receipt to the restaurant of purchase for a replacement or refund? I do hope you were very polite when you visited initially since you were there five minutes until closing.

Panera Bread sandwich

It was over cooked as if in a microwave at home when I'm in a hurry. It was nothing like a sandwich you would expect when you pay $9.99. The man was nice enough but seemed to be working by himself and there was no very many people in the store. While waiting I used the restroom. The place has lost its luster from when it first opened. I was reminded why I usually go elsewhere.

Panera Bread turkey bacon avocado sandwich

I went through the drive thru on my way to work to pick up the sandwich. When I got to my job I open the sandwich and the avocado was on the outside of the bread. The bread was dismantled and had been ripped everywhere. I had no time to go back and when I called they didn't even offer to remake my sandwich. This was a waste of my money and I'm not sure why they would even service sandwich that looked like that. I didn't even want to eat it because it look like somebody had already taken a bite out of it.

Panera Bread not receiving what I order

I have only visited Panera Bread, Roanoke VA two times. The first time, I didn't complain because it was my first time and thought I ordered wrong. I made sure this time to pay close attention. I am a caregiver and went to pick lunch up for myself and my clients. I ordered two 1/2 turkey sandwiches, a bacon turkey brvo and three cups of soup. I return without checking the order, again putting too much faith. I received everything except the bacon turkey brvo. I'm thankful my clients got what I ordered for them, however I unfortunately did not. Once again I'm stuck without getting my sandwich. Sounds petty until you have to work until 8 o'clock tonight with nothing else to eat. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be back to visit your establishment.

Panera Bread my order and customer service experience

I paid 28.92 for my breakfast and half of the ingredients were missing for my 2 sandwiches. I recommend that all panera would have the iPads to make the orders ourself.

Another distasteful event happened as I was walking to my table accidentally I hit my legs with the trash can and instead of asking me if I got hurt, an employee laughed at me. This is very sad!

Panera Bread entire order

My family and I came to have dinner while my daughter was at cheerleading practice. We arrived at the restaurant at 6:30pm knowing we had to leave at 7pm or we would be late to pick up our child from practice. At about 6:45pm I asked an employee where our order was because I was still waiting but the other guests that came after me had already been served. The employee stated "We are working on it" after I had given my order number. About 15 min later I asked again this time a different employee and he states that "Oh you order dropped off of our screen." I explained that we were going to be late picking up our daughter and we had to leave. I gave the employee my receipt and he gives me back half of my $32 and says oh and I gave you a voucher. So I walk to my car and my husband noticed that we were only refunded half of our money. And no voucher. My husband goes back into the restaurant and explains that we didn't get all of our money back and we didn't receive a voucher that he had offered. Now it's 7:15pm and we are officially late picking up our child from cheer and no one ate dinner. To top it off my 6 year old is throwing a fit because he's hungry and now I get to listen to him cry for the next 40 min because I have to pick up my daughter and go find somewhere else to eat dinner. Which means my kids won't be in bed on time and my morning will be terrible too... Thanks Panera Bread!

Panera Bread unhappy customer

I recently comtacted customer service representatives. I hand a complaint reguarding a panera bread brand 4oz 4 pack of soups that are new. H9w yhe plastic under lid is just not good. You can not perl it you need to cut off with knife and due to this then you need to put in bowl. Its a mess. I buy many of your products i have 4 kids and after school they love soup in the fall winter. I purchase many of your priducts weekly at BJS wholesale club. And eat often at lunch at locations. The rep did not care at all. Didn't want yo deal. Very upsetting. I will not be purchasing any more of your products. Nor eat at any of your locations. Jennifer morrone. [protected]

Your complaint is very hard to read due to your grammar and spelling. It sounds like you are upset that the plastic on the soup has to be removed with a knife instead of being able to be peeled off. Besides listening to your feedback, there isn't much the company will do (unless they receive a lot of complaints from a lot of customers, it's unlikely they would change their manufacturing/packaging).

Panera Bread chicken noodle soup

Let me start by saying I love Panera Bread in general. I was wondering how do you measure the soup and noodles when Chicken Noodle Soup is ordered. It seems to be hit or miss, sometimes I get a good amount of soup in a bowl and noodles in it and other times like today, it was terrible. My friends made a comment as soon as it was brought out. I didn't send it back or make a fuss because I only have an hour lunch and wanted to spend it with them. I am not looking for any free soup, I just want you to be aware that I stopped going to Panera for a few months because of this but thought I would try again.

If you visit in the future, it is best that you say something while you are there. This way they can fix it for you and make sure whatever employee is serving it is doing so properly.

If you still have the food, return it along with your receipt to the location of purchase for a replacement or refund. If you ate it, there is likely nothing that can be done for you.

Panera Bread service at 10900 lakeline mall blvd austin tx

I work about 15 minutes away and really like Panera. I've been a customer since you were the St Louis Bread Co on Grand in St Louis. It is rare that when I place an order for carryout it is correct or not burned. Today it was burned. I'll add the photo. Usually its the order is just wrong. Sometimes I've been so angry I've gotten up from my desk and driven back there to have them correct it. I've tried to stop before I leave the store and have them correct but sometimes I just don't have time. Its the only Panera in my area and you are by far my favorite place to go when I have to buy breakfast. There is a sign by the pick up that if the order is wrong they will offer a pastry. That has never happened. I am not talking about a once or twice occurrence. I average about a 1 a week visit. But then I get so fed up I stop going for awhile. And then like today it was my only option. So I was forced to go. Thank you for letting me vent.

Have you asked about the free pastry? If your experiences are so consistently negative you may just want to stop visiting the location.

Panera Bread restaurant in kingston ny

First I would like to start off by saying that the girl at the register was very unpleasant ... When we asked about the dessert special she rolled her eyes and said NO you can't get that because you need to buy a drink! I then said no it say you buy a number 2 and you get a dessert for 99$ again she replied with no look at the print ... Well yes it does say it but in the most smallest print ever! Pic attached . Also the place was disgustedly dirty! From the tables to the bathroom ! Pic attached I could of took more pics but I'm sure if you look close you will see :( My soup came out cold .I had to ask them to reheat it . My salad looked as if a 3 year old made it! We spent $23 dollars and the food wasn't up to par.

Panera Bread chicken caesar salad

I ordered a Chicken Cesar salad last night the 14 of November 2017. I got it for my lunch on the 15th. I made sure to order extra dressing... the salad I got had chunks of brown lettuce, a few pieces of chicken and two half full cups of dressing, and the croutons are stale. Not only did I have to pick out the chunks of nastily lettuce but the croutons as well. When I went to eat my salad I wait all day for I didn't have enough dressing to cover the top. I have never been so disgusted with panera before. I'm a regular customer, but I won't be going back for a while if this is the food your Middletown NY branch is selling, almost $9 for this was not worth wasting my money!

Panera Bread soup

I went to order my favorite soup and my Panera is out. Mind you it's not even 2:00 and there's no way you should be out of that soup. That's just laziness. I order Panera multiple times a week and this is absolutely ridiculous. The panera in Springfield Ohio needs some serious attention. PLEASE TELL ME WHY THE MANAGER HAS SOME LONG HAIR WITH NO HAIR NET? That's disgusting. I also always have to wait like 10+ minutes for my food to actually be ready. Please take care of each of your franchises.

Panera Bread online / rapid pick up, employee competence

I have been a Panera client for many years. Starting in Denver, now here in Portland. As a rule they have tasty and fresh food. It's nice to get a good sized, fresh salad that's not the same old thing.

There issue is with employee training and processes.

It had been pretty common in Denver that an on-line or phone order would be filled with something missing or something wrong. I finally figured out it was better to go in person and watch as the order was filled.

The company seems to highly value the on-line experience, since now you can order on-line IN the lobby of the store. In Portland I have YET to place an on-line order where I actually received everything as I ordered it. Something is always missing, out of stock or not available. I have one store across the street from the office and two on the way home. I have ordered from each.

They have the capability of listing on-line when they are out of something - and sometimes they do, but usually not. It surprises me when they list so MANY things out of stock in the meddle of the day. I get not wanting left-overs that you can't sell, but if you are a store with a menu, you ought to have the things on your menu.

The idea of a ‘quick pick-up' is an excellent corporate concept, but if it can't be handled by the associates in the stores, it just makes you look incompetent. The associates are well versed at "I'm Sorry". This has been a recurring issue over the last 2 years, and I have talked to many managers and have several free food coupons. Still, nothing changes.

Sorry to say I have been apologized to once too many time and have taken Panera Bread off of my ‘go-to' list. It just isn't worth the frustration.

Panera Bread french baguette

Today I made an online order. One of the items I ordered was a French Baguette bread. When I got home the bread was extremely hard. Almost too hard to cut. Now I know that it is not a soft bread, but I also know it is not as hard as the one I got. My family and I were unable to eat it. If I order online, I expect it to be as fresh as if I order in the store. This was at the Valley Stream store in New York.

Panera Bread all

After my experience with Panera Bread last night I probably will not go back. From the minute we walked in the door it was an awful experience. When I spend $30 or more I would expect to get at least some kind of decent service. My order was processed incorrectly and when I asked to get the correct order I was told it was in the computer correct. They were out of many of the items that I wanted to order so I had to adjust my order three times. When I finally got my food I didn't have salad dressing on my salad so I had to go back to get salad dressing. Then my sister went to use the bathroom and both stalls had crap in them. Appears that the employees at this location don't care about reputation of company. Will not be going back. This location is in Bainbridge Ohio on Chillicothe Road. In addition I got sick from the chicken that I was given to put on my salad that I was told I didn't order in the first place.

Panera Bread asst. manager marshall

On Saturday, 11-11-17 bought two bagels 1:47 am, I waited until 8:05 am, l went pick-up window about my order, dine-in seeing no one there I stood there about 5 minutes, then Marshall came to the window with my order two plain begals. I motion to reached seeing she doesn't had any gloves on, she pulled my order from me, then got nasty me, I shouldn't touch my food, even I shown my ticket to her, seeing the wasn't right, extra toasted, then I walk to my table waited for her bring my to me. Then she came, I told her, I should reported to the corporate and then she smacked my plates on the table, then she threatened me, if I tell the corporate then she will tell GM, I won't share my tables with other customers, that a lie because when it got busy did share and she knows that is false statement, question? seeing no other customers give the give-up there extra tables, is it fair statement to say I'm only she told or Unfair treatment.
