Panera Bread service and attitude

Every time I have visited in the Porter Square Panera Bread I have been met with nothing but attitude and issues. This evening the issue was adding extra strawberries in substitution of no pineapple because I have a pineapple allergy. I also asked for a large cup for water and was told I can't give you that and not getting fired for no big cup". My soup was forgotten and my dressing was mixed up. I asked to add spinach to my salad and that was left out also. Accuracy matters to you guys but it doesn't seem to matter here.

My workout regimen requires that I consume a little over a gallon of water a day. Therefore, when I'm having water with my dinner I like to have the 32 oz. I never have this issue when I visit the Fresh Pond Panera Bread but there's always something and attitude given with the employees here.

Please do better

Panera Bread pricing expensive

I was stunned today when 2 tuna sandwiches, 2 bowls of soup & 2 regular sodas came to $31.10. For what, smaller sandwiches and soup sloshed in the bowls? $2.49 for a soft drink that anywhere else would be $1.00. Then they guilt us into a tip before receiving anything! Again, for what? I get the drink, pick up the food and clean off the table myself! Who gets that tip? The rude woman making sandwiches and tossing soup in a bowl? It's been a while since I've been to Panera and after today's experience I will not be going back.

Panera Bread manager of catering dearborn heights mi

I purchased a large catering order which the charge was taken from my account on 7/29. On 8/1 I noticed I had a pending charge which the money was again taken from my account causing NO MONEY in my account and over drafts for other payments posted to my account. I called the dbn htgs store speaking to colleen in catering who was very helpful instructing me to come in the morning and speak to the manager. In the morning I went into the store with my bank statement highlighted of the charges and overdrafts due to the pending double charge. I asked for the manager, waited a few minutes and this man came I explained the situation. Showed him my bank statement. After about 15 minutes of him going In the back and coming out a few times he sent Monica out to speak with me. The way I was approached and dealt with was very disrespectful to me. Like I was just trying to cause problems and get over on her, that this wasn't her problem my"bank should handle this". As I explained the bank isn't aware if I had 2 catering charges or not. She continued on that this isn't something she can take care of. After about another 30 minutes of her going to the back and coming out giving me numbers to call to solve this issue she called me in her office where she had my bank on the phone. I got on the phone The lady from the bank explained to me that the card number had been put in twice causing the extra charge 4 days later, she had explained this to Monica also . When I finished my call I said to Monica that the lady explained that my card had been charged twice in which again with the condescending attitude towards me "What that's impossible we didn't even have your card". Again I said no my card number was punched in twice. I just feel as a loyal Panera customer that I wasn't treated with the high standards I know Panera Bread upholds.

Panera Bread delivery being late, food not hot

I ordered food 2 times for delivery and both times the delivery driver was at least 10 minutes late, and the food was cold and one of the sandwiches wasn't made properly and was also missing items that I had asked for. I sent in a complaint last week about this issue and have not received an answer back. I would like to know what you are going to do about this for me please. Thank you

Panera Bread cinnamon crunch bagel

I have been going to the Panera in The Villages FL, Sumter Landing for many years now getting the same Cinnamon Crunch Bagel. The last three times I have been there the the bagel has been terrible, virtually nothing on it at all. I have asked why it changed and they said it has not. Bad enough that it has changed, but then lie about it also. Terrible.

Panera Bread my sandwich and the cleanliness of employees

I witnessed one of the Panera employees put her hair back in a ponytail while around food items and then as I was eating my sandwich I found a hair in my sandwich. I immediately did not eat my sandwich and had to throw it away. I'm extremely frustrated that I paid for a sandwich I couldn't even eat because I was so disgusted that there was a hair in my food. And I can't believe that this employee thought it was sanitary to put her hair back up around so much food.

Panera Bread broken table

I sat at a table with my drink not knowing it had a leg that was broken as I touched the table it tipped due to the broken leg spilling my drink on me. I reported it to the manager who said they know about it and put something under the leg which was a napkin that didn't work. He basically dismissed me and problem . A person that also saw the table put a new napkin under the leg and also could not be bothered to even apologize or try to make it right 👎!

Panera Bread my panera rewards allocations

Good morning,

I placed four catering orders between June 9th and July 13th, 2017 (Austin, TX x2, Irving, TX, Houston, TX) - provided my phone number 512.673.0022 and my Rewards Number [protected] with each order. The first rewards for the first order was allocated to the wrong reward number - your customer service agent was going to submit paper work to have that corrected.

Today I called to see if rewards for all four events were allocated to my Rewards Acct. Your customer service representative said only the 6.29.17 event was listed. She asked if I had documentation I could email to her for the other three events. I'm choosing not to provide this information as I believe that providing my phone number and/or Rewards Number should locate all catering events.

While the catering events themselves were better than most other catering companies, I'm disappointed in the fact that something as simple as applying catering rewards to my Rewards Number is such a challenge for you and the time I'm having to spend on the back end to resolve this is more time than I care offer.

Regards,
Buddy Hicks

Panera Bread general manager

I come to this Panera everyday, every single day but today I was in shock and I most likely will never come back again and my children DEFINITELY will not be back after the aggression we witnessed. I usually am very pleased with the service but after today I am completely disgusted and I feel so sorry for the workers at Panera in traditions port st. Lucie Florida. Sabrina the "general manager" smh was yelling at her workers and cursing at them in their faces for all, including the customers and their children, to see. When I asked her if she could stop she gave me a fake passive aggressive smile and said "whatever makes you happy" then turned and walked away... I am Disgusted!

Panera Bread sandwich order/very disappointing

On July 28, 2017 I visited my local Panera's on Canal Road, Brunswick Georgia and ordered 2 Chicken Salad Sandwich through the Drive Thru window. I live approximately 15 minutes from this Panera's location. Making no other stops just directly home, when I opened up the wrapping of the sandwich and the bread was soggy, the lettuce was wilted, the tomato was also soggy and it looked like someone just took a "ice cream scooper" and plopped the chicken salad onto the bread, not even spreading it out. I usually purchase just the bagels and cheese danish and thought I would try a sandwich and this was extremely disappointing. I spent $17 for 2 sandwiches and after one bite could not eat the sandwich because it was so soggy. I am going to just stick to my bagel/danish purchases in the future. My e-mail address is .. [protected]@aol.com..if you would like to contact me. Thank you

Panera Bread fell in the ladies restroom at the st. louis bread co

Yesterday Thursday around 12:30 pm. I was finished eating at the bread co in chesterfield valley. I as soon as my running shoes hit the ladies restroom my feet came up from under me and my body slammed to the floor. There was a puddle of water under the towel machine. Luckily I wasn't injured or crack my head open. When I got up my clothes were wet and I was stunned. I went to tell the manager on duty and he acted like he could care less. He just yelled to a young employee to go check the restroom. I am 56 years old. I love the bread co. I have never had such a fall like that one. I did not go to the doctor but I am sore and my arm hurts from grabbing the arm rail. I guess I could not believe I fell and the way the manager acted was so bizarre.

Panera Bread hazelnut cream cheese

My family and I have been coming to Panera for years and years. Today, 7/27/2017, we drove 20 miles to the closest Panera and we were very disappointed when we went to get our normal huge order of cinnamon crunch bagels, all with hazelnut cream cheese. Come to find out they no longer sell the hazelnut cream cheese nor could tell us why it was discontinued. my husband and I have gotten the same order since we were back in highschool and it's also what our kids have grown to like, the only thing they will get from Panera. We tried to get something else close to that cream cheese to go with the cinnamon crunch bagel but there was nothing that was even close to being satisfying.

Panera Bread drive through

This is what you see going through the Drive-Thru at the Nashville, 21st Ave location. Trash piled wall high and overflowing spilling out into the drive through where it was getting run over. It was almost enough that I wasn't even hungry anymore. Do they not have trash cans? A dumpster? Made me start to wonder what the inside must look like, if they didn't care what you could see on the outside.

Panera Bread extremely rude and unhelpful manager

I placed an online order today for pickup at the cafe location:
345 Main Street
Huntington, NY 11743
Time and Date: July 27, 2017 at 9:20 am

When I opened the package, I discovered that the order wasn't prepared as per my request. I seeked help from the lady at the counter but she said it is not her job to prepare the orders. I then asked for the manager. She was standing around the same area but instead of helping, she rolled her eyes, and extremely rudely remarked that they don't cut and pack the full sandwich in half. I told her that I've been ordering the same sandwich for a month from the Walt Whitman Mall location and for the past few days at the Main Street location and the order was always one whole sandwich was cut into two and packed to go. She very rudely remarked that I was lying. She told me her name is Stephanie. She further told me that she does not care if I report this incident or leave a poor feedback. "I don't give a [censor] about it", was her response. I am extremely disappointed at the service I received today. I have been a customer of Panera Bread for a very long and never ever have been treated badly. My family and I have dined at Panera in many states across the USA. Today's experience was totally unexpected and I am extremely disappointed that Panera Bread has employees who are rude and abusive to customers. I hope you'll take action to rectify this problem.

Panera Bread service

At 7:34 this morning, I visited Panera -café 1487 in Raritan. Check # 618931-cashier Frank.
From the beginning, Frank was very disrespectful. When he finished with the previous customer, he walked away from the register. No other registers were open. I was the only one on line. He didn't even show the respect of saying he'd be right back.He returned about 3 minutes later, and took my order, which was a breakfast sandwich, a muffin, and 2 coffees. He forgot to charge me for 2 coffees I purchased, and then corrected it. When I went to get "light" coffee, there was none. I alerted Frank, and he yelled out for someone to bring out the coffee. About 5 minutes later, I asked him about the coffee, and he again yelled out for someone to bring out the coffee. Finally, someone did.
When I went to the "cooking" area, the young man in that station did not know anything about my sandwich order. I told him my name and my order. He seemed bored, as he was yawning while I was talking to him. I asked Frank about my order, and he discussed with the young man, and he then located my order.
Before leaving, I checked my bag, and noticed Frank forgot to include the muffin that I had paid for. There were no apologies, as he got the muffin for me. I told him that I was upset with my treatment, and he said nothing. I said that I was upset that if I didn't check, I would not have realized this error until I got home, and then would have had to come all the way back. He finally apologized, but that was it. I asked to see the manager, and he said that he was the manager. After discussing this for a couple of minutes, he then RELUCTANTLY offered me an additional muffin, which I accepted.
I am very upset with this shabby, unprofessional treatment by Frank, and the way he manages this store. Is this how you train your managers?
I would appreciate your looking into this, and responding to me.
Thanks for your help.

Bob

Panera Bread sandwich preparation/ingredients

On 7/26/2017 I visited panera with a carry out of 1 salad and 3 sandwiches. When I arrived 20 minutes after scheduled pick up time my order was not ready. It seems they were out of the bread specified. After making that change I left with order. When we opened to sandwiches, one napa chicken was fine. The other napa chicken and one tuna sandwich were ver short on main ingredient.

I felt not only was this panera out of my bread, but was lacking ingredients too! I am disappointed to say the least.

Panera Bread french onion soup, beef/white cheddar & mediterranean sandwiches

Hello,

Today is Wednesday 7/26/17. We just tried the new Belden Village Panera Store in Canton, Ohio and boy were we disappointed! Two of us ordered lunch and both of us were very dissatisfied. Between the Drive Thru & the Rapid Pick up, we spent $35.The Receipt numbers are 1301473($18.47, Drive [protected]@1:25:27 PM) and138915044, (Rapid Pickup, $17.44 @1:12:18 PM). The Onion Soup was not the same taste as we remember. In fact, it tasted sweet, and frankly just was not very good. Also had very little cheese, 1/2 t. per bowl, maybe! The Beef/White Cheddar was meh and the onions were nowhere to be found and no meat on the back half of it. We will not order it again. The Mediterranean has also changed. Not only has it changed but also smelled strongly of fish, anchovies maybe?! Also, apparently the same person, maybe, with the same knife, likely but could be the hands, cross contaminated the cinnamon sugar from the bagels we ordered and transferred it to the Med. Sandwich. We don't eat sandwiches smelling strongly of odorous fish nor do we eat cinnamon sugar on our sandwiches. We did receive the bagels as well as a pecan roll as ordered. And where did the strong fish odor come from? The bulk of our lunches - the the most costly - was not as expected and just was not good!
Moreover, one lunch was ordered from our home phone and paid as well. The other lunch was ordered thru the Drive thru. I told the woman I was picking up an order that had been called in whereupon I was informed I had to go inside to get that one!~ Really? I explained it was a mistake because I didn't want to go inside. I have a bad knee and a Handicap Placard displayed on my dashboard. I did not mention the bad knee... I had no idea about the rapid one so when the woman asked me if it was rapid, I said "yes". When I got to the window I told her I had no idea about any of that. Customer service would or should scream to double check the receipt, especially with the placard prominently displayed. Ours was not a good experience! We rarely complain, but given the number of Panera products that were unsatisfactory, we felt it necessary so the complaint couldn't be buried. Considering the odds of our two lunches being unsatisfactory, surely others have had to have been bad also. These are the details. We will not take pictures. That onus should not be ours but rather that of Corporate. Receipt details are provided for Corporate to investigate. I am a busy graduate student and really did not have time for all of this! My email is [protected]@gmail.com We trust that not only will these concerns be addressed with the store manager and onto staff but also that we will be reimbursed for our meals. I'm sure receipts reflect method of payment. Thank you for your time & effort in this matter. We expect our next visit will be %100 better. have a great day!

Panera Bread turkey blt and another order

Last week I ordered a turkey BLT sandwich and received no turkey on the sandwich...I did the pickup order as well so I didn't even notice until I got home. I tried to order panera again today and received no bread that I ordered. These seem like very simple requests and I'm sick of not getting what I paid for. I live right next to this panera and don't feel like I can eat here anymore because it is very unreliable.

Panera Bread sandwich

I ordered a turkey blt with avocado. There was no bacon on the sandwich, which I don't think would have improved the taste. Overall it was tasteless and and the turkey was freezing cold. I returned the sandwich to the pick up counter and spoke with the manager. He seemed irritated at my complaint. He finally asked if I would like a different sandwich. I then got the steak and arugula. Which by the way is roast beef not steak. The meat was full of grissle and fat. I wasn't about to complain to the manager about the second sandwich. At this time I do not intend to visit the establishment again. I wasted $25 on 2 drinks, soup and a sandwich I could barely eat. I look forward to hearing from you regarding this matter.

Panera Bread charging

I had made a delivery order. For a soup salad and sandwich which ran me $30. I gave the driver
a $4 tip. Checking my bank account 3 days latter I seen the
$30 charge and a charge of $34 total cost with tip. Calling customer service I was told that this was common practice and the lesser amount will drop off.
This is preventing me from paying a bill that I'm $10 short of thanks to this practice.
May I suggest if you're going to keep this as general operation that you let the customer be aware of it.
Doubt if I'll be going back. As good as your food is, I can certainly find an overpriced meal somewhere else without screwing up my bank account.
