Panera Bread breakfast

I went to the Panera drive-thru this morning for breakfast. I asked for two soufflés and the girl says "alright let me check that for you". A couple minutes later she comes back and says "we sold out of soufflés" and I reply with "you sold out of soufflés? Well are you guys making anymore?" And she says "no we sold out". As a business it is your responsibility to make sure you have enough food for the customers so they aren't inconvenienced. Poor management and poor staff training for how they handled the situation. Beyond disappointed seeing since this was my only time to eat before a long drive. I won't be going back for a very long time so you lost my business.

I was one of the fist customers at the panera store on smokey hiĺl rd. I ordered a soup to go which was placed in a paper sack and stapled closed. On arriving home my car sea was wet. They hadn
't fastened the lid allowing the soup to spill. I went to the Panera the second time. I had been warned about Salt intake. I wanted soup. No nutrition facts were available. So i asked. A large loose leaf was opened and every soup wss over 1000 mg of sodium. I asked about salads and was told no salt was added. They suggested a chicken ceasar. Big mistake. The chicken was coated in salt, the croutons and salad dressing were farmed in the great salt lake. As a person with heart problems, do not go to Panera

Panera Bread quality of food

Ordered food tonight at 9:30. I asked for half a Caesar salad and a cup of broccoli cheddar soup and a baguette, usually my favorite meal.
First, I was told they are "out of" Caesar dressing. So I just got the soup and bread (and drink), both of which were terrible-- the soup had a grainy quality that's hard to describe and was a bit sour tasting. I basically wasted $7.00. 😔

Panera Bread unethical behaviour & poor food quality

To Whom it may concern,

I went to Panera's in Germantown, Seneca Meadows Shopping Center, store number 3777. I asked to speak with the manager, or who I hoped was the manager. Rick, the manager, came out with a handwritten name plate and asked about the issues I was having with the store.

My explanation to Rick, or complaint was within the first 5 minutes of arriving at the location with my family:

- We were not greeted with a hello or may I help you
- The word "B###" came loudly from the sandwich prep area and was heard all the way over at the soft drink station where we where standing
- special order Chai Tea was not given
- No Thank you after the order was placed

Food:
- We ordered two orders of the Steak and White Cheddar Sandwich. Both sandwiches tasted completely different. One sandwich was moist with the correct seasoning. The other, made at the exact same time was dry and barely had any seasonings.

- The order was not complete. They forgot the Broccoli Cheddar Bowl. Then no utensils were given. I also did not like nor appreciate the sarcastic attitude of thank you have a good night after going back a second time.

The manager, Rick, apologized and said he would speak with the staff.

I guess I am a little too spoiled by the Panera Bread location in Chesapeake, Virginia, Greenbrier Location.
- I am always greeted with a smile and a hello
- I place my order and am given a buzzer for when my food is ready. Side note - the staff brings me my food and collects the buzzer.
- When I am done eating at the table, staff members clean up the extra plates and dirty napkins.
- Upon leaving, I am sent on my way with a thank you for visiting.

I guess there is a major difference from Southern Hospitality and Northern Rudeness.

Panera Bread store

I went into the store downtown Nashville for lunch left my debit card at work I used my gift card called order in. They took card number over the phone but when I got there they told me that my card wasn't valid and because they didn't have a pin either. I called customer service my gift card clearly had 15.00 dollars on it. I'm complaining because when I contacted the store they didn't care that it was embarrassing and an inconvenience.

Panera Bread old goods

I went to my local Panara Bread in Big Rapids, Michigan to buy a few cinnamon rolls to celebrate my Birthday with my family yesterday 3/21. All 3 cinnamon rolls were dry, not moist, and lacked much cinnamon. I also bought a dozen bagels. The bagels were good as always. Nine dollars for 3 stale cinnamon rolls may not mean much to others, but it is a treat to us. We live off of my disability pension from the V.A.. I do like your bakery very much and look forward to getting some treats when we can afford them. I hope that you can rectify the situation so others will not waist their money in the future. Panera Bread lunch and rude service on 3/22/2017

I am a regular at this Panera, I come almost 5 times a week for either lunch or dinner. I usually am treated very friendly and the order times and accurate is impeccable. I ordered at the kiosk with my friend for dine in and waited patiently for my food; the table that was open was dirty but I asked an employee to wipe it down and it was taken care of. My order was missing a side when I picked it up and I let the lady behind the counter know. She handed me the side and I asked if I could have a pastry and she rolled her eyes at me. I asked for the receipt and she took five minutes to finally provide it (I think she dug it out of the trash). The receipt did mention that if an order was not completely correct that treat would be provided for the trouble. Instead, I was given a rude gesture. Overall, this experience was so poor I might go to chipotle next.

Panera Bread broccoli cheddar soup

I ordered the broccoli cheddar soup for my boyfriend, and I specifically asked if it was fresh. I was told it was; I can't eat it because I can't eat cheese, but he tasted it and immediately wanted to throw it away. It was dark, salty and tasted like it had been reheated. If it wasn't fresh, all they had to do was say so, and I could've ordered something different and not had to waste the time and money driving to get this food for him that he can't eat. This is my third visit this week, but the first time I've had this problem. He gets this soup from Panera at least twice a week. He has also worked in the food industry for a long time so he knows his food. From now on the employees should be honest with the customers as to when their food is prepared. Not everyone is okay with eating left over food from the previous day.

Panera Bread rapid pickup

My panera# is [protected]. Today 3/21/17 approximately 12:03pm at the White Plains, NY location order# [protected] I placed an Rapid Pickup order for a You Pick 2. I ordered an ham with American cheese on rye loaf with lettuce, spicy mustard and salt and pepper along with a cup of chicken noodle soup. I pick up my order as I was on my lunch break and returned back to work. It was at that moment that I noticed the cheese on my sandwich was hard and dry, and the bread was also very hard. I contacted the location in which I purchased from a the manager was very rude. She would not give me her name nor would she help me. She told me next time I shouldn't be so much in a rush to check my own order then she hung up the phone on me. I do not appreciate how this women has talked to me or handled this situation. I am very displeased with the service from this location and will never return. I would like something to be in regard's to this matter. I feel as though I should be compensated in some way due to losing my money on a sandwich that I could not enjoy as I normally due.

Panera Bread rapid pick up order

My panera# is [protected]. This incident happened on Friday, 3/17/17 at the Nashville, Royal Parkway location. Order# [protected].
On Friday I placed an order for my saved favorite custom salad. (Romaine & Kale Caesar Salad with Chicken). I picked it up and when I got back to work to eat my salad, there was no chicken on the salad. I've had mistakes made on my custom salad before, but never as extreme as forgetting the CHICKEN! I was very frustrated, but I did not have time to go all the way back to the cafe and get it fixed. I would like a refund or a credit of some kind. I already left a message with customer care and did not hear anything back...

Panera Bread gift card

Dear Sir/Madam,

We have been Panera customers for many many years and enjoy the lovely product and service you provide. Recently, we purchased 2 gift cards ($25, $25) and received a $10 bonus card for signing up. We didn't realize the $10 bonus card had an expiration date as the other two cards do not have one.

Now our gift card has expired. Would you please kindly assist and reactivate this or reissue us a new replacement card? Your help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Panera Bread outlets and no option to warm pastries

The newly remodeled Panera in Oak Park is a very nice place however...where are the outlets at? There use to be so many and now there are hardly any! Also why can't I warm my pastry anymore? The staff does not have a tool to even warm the pastry if I want it warmed. My cookie was super stiff and hard and would have liked to enjoy it upon purchasing! Im only writing this because I am a faithful customer and I have noticed the many differences and inconveniences.

Panera Bread order denied

Hi, I am a big fan of the Chicken Ceasar Sandwich which is no longer on the menu. Ive gone into two seperate restaurants asking for that sawdwhich to be made even though it is not on the menu. The first restaurant said it will be no problem, but the second restaurant said no. I asked the manager if they all the ingredients which the response was yes. I then asked why they couldn't make it. Was informed that it wasnt in the register. The restaurant that did this was Cafe 4116. Why do your stores operate differently that uncertainty makes me not want to go to other locations thinking I wont't get the food I enjoy.

Panera Bread bakery

3/18/17 I ordered a Apple Crunch Muffin, and saved it until the end of the day. I love those muffins. However, when I finally looked in the bag, I found that it wasn't an apple crunch muffin, it was a cranberry orange one. I waited all day for that muffin. I was incredibly disappointed. I had a long day, with practice and then a competition, and I was thinking about that beautiful muffin all day.
Can I please have a muffin to make up for the one(or two?) I lost?

Panera Bread poor service

Just a few comments about the panera bread in fairfield, ohio.

Every morning I arrive at panera approximately 7:30 a. M. Last week they were out of ice tea (They said the girl had to make a run to colerain to pick up – this wasn't the first time. Also, they are constantly out of my favorite bagels (At 7:30 am!) and last week the young man at the cash register took my $20 (Gave me change) and proceeded to hand me a danish without gloves! I am usually not one to complain but this is unacceptable for a panera bread. I was a customer for over 20 years at the kenwood location and never had this problem! Now, my company relocated and the fairfield ohio location is the closet to me.

Panera Bread no service at 8:45 pm

On Wed, March 15th, I called Panera Bread at 8:45 PM from their parking lot. I wanted to order a large container of soup. No one answered the phone, so I went inside. As I stood at the counter, no one would give me the time of day so I left. If you are going to advertise being open until 9PM, then you should provide service up until that time. Everyone seemed in a hurry to get things cleaned up and put away. Horrible customer service.

Panera Bread customer service in store

My parents and I went to a local panera that we used to always go to for a simple and quick lunch. The cashier were very slow to take our order and we were waiting about 10 minutes to order. Once we finished odering, we were a little taken aback by the prices and asked inquiring about it. At which point, Rebekah, who was NOT our cashier but a nearby employee standing by responded "I think you are thinking about the old Panera prices from about 10 years ago."
She made my parents and I feel extremely uncomfortable and embarrassed when all we wanted was a simple response to our questions. The manner in which she spoke to us was inappropriate and downright rude. I have never been so displeased with a Panera employee.

Panera Bread steak and cheese breakfast sandwich

Saturday 3/11/17 @ 9am Easton MD is where I stopped on the way down to Eastern Shore VA. I always take my Mom bagels and a coffee cake. My Brother got a steak and Egg breakfast sandwich and coffee (added half & half). About time we made it to my parents (2.5hrs) my brother had to rush inside and run to the bathroom. He experienced a terrible bout with nausea, vomiting and diarrhea over the next 18 hrs. His entire trip to visit our 89 yr old parents was ruined. Don't know if it was the sandwich or the half and half but he thought the sandwich and said the chz tasted funny and the egg was undercook . I called the store that the man sound empathetic but didn't say any but thanks and sorry. I felt the need to share this story in hopes it would prevent customer's suffering in the future. I would like Panera Bread to credit my rewards card or send me a refund of the coffee and sandwich.

Panera Bread poor customer service

This is the second time in 2 weeks I placed a large order for lunch with Panera Bread and it was late. I will only focus on the one received today 3/13/2017 which I placed on 3/9/2017 for delivery on Monday 3/13/2017 between 11 -11:15am.. I placed the order along with a breakfast order for 3/15/2017 because my employees enjoy the food and they usually deliver in a timely manner..

The order was updated on 3/10/2017 to a total of $592.43 for 2 large fruit bowls that cost $61.58, 3 deluxe sandwich assortments at $74.99 per order as well as 3 assorted sandwich trays at $54.99 per tray. There was a $15 delivery charge and I included a $25 gratuity. Let me just say that I am beyond infuriated with this entire order and I ended up cancelling a future order for breakfast on 3/15/2017 due to this messiness. I received a call at 11:11 am informing me that the driver would be a "few" minutes late as they were "just" packing up my order... I didn't understand this with an 11 -11:15 delivery time how/why was my order just being packed up at 11:11. I asked for an ETA and was told 10 minutes.. 10 minutes turned into an hour and a half as my lunch wasn't delivered until well after 12:30.

All I received was a barrage of I'm sorry's which fell on deaf ears at that point and an assurance that a large portion of the bill will be deducted. I appreciate that but needless to say, I had almost 60 hungry people here. My head truly almost spun around 360 degrees when the order arrived.. The 2 large fruit salads that I was charged over $60.00 for was just grapes, honeydew and cantaloupe cut into chunks and put into a bowl. I know full well they didn't spend anywhere near $30+ for the fruit itself so to charge a customer that much with the crappy presentation is beyond ridiculous and purely a rip off. Sandwich labels that are usually printed were hand written so no one could tell what the sandwich was unless they opened the wrapping which makes others not want to eat it after someone has had their hands on it. They forgot chips and were supposed to get 15 cookies (5 per deluxe assortment tray) and we only received 8 and they weren't what were order so we were completely cheated on that aspect of our order. I had to cut them up in fours to try to stretch them to serve.

The GM kept blaming the weather which we are due major snow TOMORROW so how that affects a delivery the day before is beyond my comprehension and it has no baring on why my order wasn't correct or complete.. The woman who claimed she's a manager was a bit bothered when I signed off on the receipt and scratched off the tip. She told me we'd already been charged for the total amount and I will dispute the complete charge when the bill is to be paid..

I have a tip for Panera... Try being on time and if you will be late try being honest with customers and not tell them it will be a few minutes knowing full well it will be much longer. For a charge of almost $600 and another pending charge of almost $200, to have a customer paying almost $1000 for 2 meals and this is the type of service provided is sickening. This was a corporate event, your people dropped the ball and all they could render is a bunch of I'm sorry's? This will not suffice.

Panera Bread accuracy policy

We enjoy your food. Have eaten at different locations and have given gift cards.
Stores are VERY well designed and clean.

Went to Cafe, 1441 in Williston, VT on 3/12/17. Time : 1:05:12 PM

We had a very nice associate take our order (Kevin?). Super job.an d sharp guy.

Anyway, 1 order for water went in as a soda. I notice at the end of the meal.
Took it to him and he was great. Called Mgr to the register. She offered soda or refund. We took refund. No problem or attitude.

Never did refund before, but noticed the accuracy policy. Wasn't offered anything other than solving the problem very professionally.

You may want to refresh your front end/managers on policy or change your "Accuracy Matters" note.

No big issue, but as a business owner, I try to follow my policies and liked to hear how employees are doing.

Panera Bread customer treatment

The manager was very rude towards me as a customer. I was in a relaxed position in a booth and she very rudely confronted me and said "don't lay down this isn't a hotel". I felt very attacked by her attitude it is a shame that such people with no customer care skills are hired. This was on March 11th at 5:00 pm.
