Panda Express poor food quality

Panda express, daytona beach, store #2470, Wasted 25.00 on food that has no taste at all, my american rice is 1000 times better and the add-ons, like egg rolls and drinks took it to almost 35 dollars, this food had no asian taste to it at all, their duck dauce which was called plum sauce tasted nothing at all like your traditional duck sauce and their chili sauce had no chili seeds in it at all, it was shirachi sauce, i would never go back to any panda expresses ever again, their food lost its asian taste when they americanized their restaurants.

Panda Express wait times

Date 4/9/15
Time 1:30pm
Store Number: 1365
Order Number: 250864

Good Afternoon,
On my last survey I voiced my concern about the wait time at Store #1355 in Northlake, IL. After the survey I stated that I would still return to the location even after past issues. I visited the restaurant again today and had some of the same issues.
I was greeted and told that there would be a 6 minute wait for fried rice. After those 6 minutes had passed, I was asked what two entrees would I like. I chose Orange Chicken and Teriyaki Chicken. At that time I was told that there would be an additional 11-13 minute wait for the chicken. So this would make the fourth time that I visited this location and I had to wait for my food longer than 10 minutes.
To make this visit worse, this Panda Express has three flat screen TV’s. On the main screen they were viewing The Blair Witch Project. Also this movie was not edited and the subtitles were on the screen. What this means is that all of the children in the restaurant were able to hear read all of the profanity that the actors were saying. So after that movie went off, Zodiac was the next movie that this station was showing. Before the movie started, the station clearly stated that the movie was rated MA for TV, but none of the employees seemed to mind. So I was “treated” to the first 15 minutes of this movie. If you has never seen this movie, two people, including a young boy are shot is the face in the first 5-10 minutes. I had to have my children choose a booth and turn away from the screen.
I was in your fast food restaurant for over 25 minutes waiting for my order. This is unacceptable. The programing that the store chose to view was unacceptable. I did make a small donation to the CMN Hospital so that was a positive moment of my visit.
I conclusion, I will never return to this or any Panda Express. I will make it very clear to family, friends, co-workers, and social media that this is not acceptable by any standards.

Panda Express shorted on items paid for

This restaurant consistently gets orders wrong or incomplete. When specifically asked to check my order for completeness, I was told all items were in the sack. They weren't. They're suggestion is to come back and they will provide the items or a receipt. I live an hour away from the restaurant and told the attendant that. I specifically said, I cannot come back and I don't want to come back tomorrow, as I'm counting on this for my meal. I'm aggravated they they consistently do this, say "sorry", not even I'm sorry, and do nothing to fix the problem. They are out of the food items many times, they've reduced their menu, and then most of the entree's require an upcharge. This is ridiculous.

Panda Express rude employee

ive been dealing with a rude cook by the name of connor mcfarland and he has been harrasing me quite a few times and im finally had enought of his attitude towards me. me and him butt heads because he thinks im a little rambunctious and not focusing on whats important, but when other pepople decide to say hello and greet me? he pushes policy on them too. he has told me to shut up and not talk back to him 3 times or more. i cannot work comfortably in that place with his anger issues and loose ways of using policy to push people around. i understand the chain of command, but when someone looses ther temper and starts going off on people making them feel uncomfortable? im sure most of them inside ther wont say a word but to me it seems like a careless act to not put a complaint againts this man. i also know that this job can be stressful but not to a point where it keeps happening again and again with this guy. im a hard working individual. i clean and cook even though its not within my pay rate and classification as kitchen help, but i still cook and help out with the load. me as an individual cannot stand by and just take his abuse! my name is jose m garcia and my phone number is [protected]

Panda Express re: wrongful termination, retaliation, rodents issues, poor management, hushing employee complaints, and hindering promotions

Upon being hired for Aramark, I was suppose to be working at
croutons but was needed at Papa Johns so I where I was asked to go by
management. The next day I was put in croutons where I was working two cash
registers at one time and preparing food. I was so stressed out that I
literally felt my body tensing and I was not able to work there anymore. I
returned to Papa Johns and asked to be moved from such store because my glasses
were stolen and I did not feel comfortable working in such environment. I was granted
my request to work in Panda Express, because of previous good experience. After
working there for a few days I began to get familiar with Olga, manager, she
seemed nice at first and then just became badgering towards me. She would nag
at me and make me completely uncomfortable and hostile in my place of work. I
asked Olga briefly how I would go about requesting transfer; with in matter of
days I received write up. I then again asked Olga about being able to transfer
again and this time Olga says “well actually employees who have write ups are
not able to transfer to another department or it is more difficult”. I would
consider Olga a horrid manager, as I strongly believe she purposely wrote me up
to hinder my ability to be able to transfer away from her harassment and
hostility. I also made a few employee complaints while working there because of
confrontational issues and conversations about smoking weed in front of
customers. Aramark policy is to be drug free but Robin was blatantly talking
about using drugs while in area where customers could hear. I also told Olga
about rodent issues, roaches. Olga replied with “I already know they are here,
just do not let the customers know and do not let them hear you talking about
them”, I also was approached by another manager Mark who asked me if I was
saying something about the roaches in front of customers and “just as long as
your not saying something to the customers or where they can hear your fine”. I
find such demeanor appalling as University of Florida Alumni and demeaning to
those doing business with company to have such attitude about the health
standards of the food and food preparation area. I reported these violations to
FDA on October 2, 2014 and on 10/06/2014 received response on whom I needed to
contact. I have had to clean roaches out of the ice container and to go
containers. The two shelves on the line do not get cleaned, during the time I
worked there the shelves were only cleaned one day and I was the person who
cleaned them. Aramark, specifically Panda Express, cleaning practices are
unsanitary and unhealthy in violation of health code, more than likely. I have
done some research and I do have other evidence of reports to support my
findings or managements intentionally sabotaging transfers and unsanitary food
practices. The last instance was when I was cashier and I seen roaches crawling
out of the soda machine area, I got my phone and took picture, Olga became
enraged and wrote me up because she said “you can not be taking pictures of
roaches” she did not want proof of such roaches. I was wrongfully terminated as
result of retaliation, purposeful, knowingly intention of management and upper
management to hide health code violations of rodent issues and am filing
complaint with intent to sue Aramark doing business as Panda Express, 114
Center Drive, Gainesville, Florida 32611 because of such retaliation and wrongful
termination. I filed complaint day of termination or next day but listed the
wrong telephone number of [protected]. My contact number is [protected]
an my email is [protected]@gmail.com.

Attached are pictures providing proof of my management complaints and documenting health code violations.

Panda Express unfair work practice

I am an Assistant Manager. I had a doctor's note for a bad knee and the General Manager still called me in twice that day. Always telling me how she's worried about my health but does nothing to help. The other Assistant Manager told me the same thing. They were too busy that day because they had birthday parties to attend to. Seriously? At least help me find a replacement.

The very next day, I had an employee who's sister went missing. He tried filing a missing persons report and everything. The other Assistant Manager called him and asked if he could still work. I was surprised to see him even though we were under-manned (again, no help from management). His family member's missing and they still call him to work?

They are always calling me on my days off to nag about something insignificant, and I consider it harassment. Panda Express is always preaching to us about how they want to help their employees and grow. I haven't seen anything like that yet. It seems they only care about the Panda Family, not your family. Worst treatment of employees I have ever experienced. Highly disappointed and hurt.

Panda Express horrible rude manager

I am an employee at Panda Express. The environment I which we work is horrible. Our manager is the most horribly rude person in the store. She fights with costumers about THEIR orders she's gone as far as to yell and lecture customers! She has horrible customer service, and then blames the entire staff for our sales decline! She says we are making $5000 less than the other locations in the area yet doesn't want to spend $5000 on the stores air conditioning even though we get complaints all day EVERY DAY. The store is so hot that myself and a coworker of mine broke out in heat rashes all over our bodies. When we told our manger she laughed it off. I'm a very conservative person so I like to keep my makeup natural looking. She went as far as to tell me I was wearing too much makeup and that I looked like a clown, and like a ghost because I have light skin tones. Another time I accidentally forgot my keys in the locker and when I came back inside for them she yelled out for everyone to hear "Did you forget your birth control?" Excuse me? I understand that she is my manager but in no way is it okay for her to be making those kinds of jokes. I felt disrespected and embarassed to work for such an awful lady. A complaint was sent to the store about the way she was treating me and NOTHING was done! No action was taken! Needless to say, I'm on the lookout for a new job.

Panda Express failure to pay it&s service contract bills

I am a contractor with an agreement with Panda Restaurant Group to perform repair and building services. In dealing with this particular customer, Panda Express has willfully failed to honor it's contract and pay its invoices due to the fact they claim these calls are in dispute when in fact Panda employees have called in these service calls. Namely Chris Burun, Tom Lykins and now their legal staff claim they do not have to pay these invoices as too much time has passed and our company is out several thousands of dollars in billable man hours, parts and supplies.
Panda Restaurant Group is not a very honest company, hires illegal citizens and it had been my experience they hire a plethora of Mexicans who they sponsor.
I would say that if ANY OTHER companies were to provide service for PANDA EXPRESS, they should do so with the utmost in caution as some of the management will literally lie and claim that the service work was not done properly or dispute the calls for the fact that are paid bonuses based upon their income generated by each restaurant. It's my opinion, the management does not agree to the service call as they loose their bonus based upon the amount of the cost of their overall maintenance cost.
All in all, it's a cut throat company who can not be trusted to do the correct thing when no one is looking. Typical for a "fast food" chain that employs a fulltime legal staff in each of the 48 state where they operate .
As well, they have 91 civil complaints ranging from willful discrimination, to the hiring or illegal Mexicans who use identification of others or are in the practice of sponsoring and hiring persons from other countries and assisting those person to become US citizens, paying for their education and or sponsoring their family members to enter into the US under the assumption of a work visa then having them remain in this country on a permanent basis.
PAY YOUR BILLS PANDA EXPRESS...you expect persons to pay for their food, us contractors expect you to pay your bills!

Panda Express lack of honesty.

I went tonight with my wife, kids and nephew for dinner.
My wife paid and we started to eat.
While I was eating, I remenbered that I had a card in which you can get a free meal after 10 meals.
I went to the cashier with the receipt, and the lady (Shana) refussed to punch the card, even though we were still eating at the place.
What a scam!

This is so a scam, yeah I read that part about having to inform my waitress before I order, but I forgot to tell her. You must work for Panda Express Tasha, because you said the exact same thing the waitress said. I told my wife not to leave her a tip or I would slap her when I got home. Then my seven year old daughter was making a fuss when I wanted her to go to bed. I threatened to punch her in the face and knock her out cold if she did not go to bed immediately. Luckily for her my wife threatened to call the police so I counted to ten.

Panda Express rediculously spicy!

I know this is a predominately hispanic community! But when did chinese food turn spicy? And when asked the customer service person lied! We even asked if the food was spicy and she said no! This will go to the company! Panda express needs to understand chinese food means chinese food! If I wanted spicy food I would have gone to a mexican restaurant!

I agree with Tasha, she did not lie to you, different people have different opinions on what is spicy. It is like me accusing you of lying because you think that a particular food tastes good and I don't.

Panda Express broke a tooth while eating honey walnut shrimp

On Dec. 17, 2010, my wife Connie took about four bites of her Honey Walnut Shrimp, bit into something that was extremely hard, and broke a tooth. Panda Express took all of the info, her plate of food, and gave us contacts for filing a claim. We immediatly had our dentist look into this and it was determined that she should see a periodontist to have an implant installed, which she did. We waited the three months for the implant and grafts to heal and then had a full crown done. All said and done, we are $4, 600.00 OUT OF POCKET so far! We turned in all of the invoices to Panda Express. A couple of months passed and I had to call to find out what was going on. They seemed pretty disintrested at this point and had us contact Diamond Foods, who supplies them with the walnuts. They passed us on to Travelers insurance who is their insurer. A couple of more months passed and I wrote emails to Travelers Insurance. Still haven't heard anything back yet. It has been 10 months so far. I do not understand why Panda Express doesn't take care of us anfd then go after their suppliers. After all, we ate ate a restuaraunt called "Panda Express" not Diamond Foods. We should have only had to deal with Panda Express and no one else. It is like Panda Express is having us do all of their leg work for them. We aren't asking for anything special: just the exact cost for the tooth repair, nothing more, nothing less. All we know is this: my wife's tooth was fine when we went into their restauraubt, and ten minutes later, it was broken by their food.

Panda Express family feast scam!

Ordered 4 large containers of food to go. Rice, Chow mein, Orange Chicken and Walnut Shrimp. The genius behind the counter says...Its cheaper if you buy the Family Feast plus you get an extra item. I said are you sure? It didn't make sense. So I did and added the extra item...I move on down the line and to the cashier and rings up a total of 34.80. In my head i added it up to be roughly 24 plus tax! I immediate tell the cashier I was told that the family feast would be cheaper than ordering 4 to go boxes...she said it is. After 3 minutes of teaching the genius cashier basic math, it comes out to be a TOTAL RIP-OFF and they charged an extra 3 bucks for shrimp items! WTF! Needless to say I will NEVER go to bandit express!

It looks like you're the "genius" here. You are basically getting a large entrée for free if you get the feast, so it is cheaper. I don't know how you got $24. So, it looks like you need to be taught basic math, not the cashier.

uhhhh. Actually, from what I can see. Family feast are cheaper, its 30 plus $3 extra for honey walnut since its premium item and its SHRIMP(shrimp are more expensive). So you got rice and chow mien which is 3.50 each plus taxes so 7.00 for both. Orange chicken is 10.00(9.50+tax) and hone walnut are about 14 dollar(3.75+tax). So! all about $33 or $34 depend on taxes. family feast is 2 sides(which is chow mien or rice), plus 3 entree for 32 something plus 3 so about 35. So overall you get more food for about the same price. Maybe the associate feel like you get more food so overall it is cheaper beacause if you order another big entree it will be around $40. Just letting you know.

Panda Express knob in food

While eating at the Panda Express at 249 North Glendale Avenue in Glendale, California (which is that alley with the frog fountain next to the Americana at Brand), I bit into a small piece of hard broken plastic in the noodles. This seems to have been broken off from a kitchen utensil.

I was unharmed by this. But could have broken a tooth. How hard is it to keep plastic out of your food?!

No legal action was possible, because no actual harm was done. And I didn't complain, because I didn't see any point in watching a high school dropout point and shrug. But you'd better believe I'll never eat at Panda Express again!

Hello dear customer. I am a Panda employee (Not of the listed above) and I work in the kitchen and we never use plastic utensils when we are cooking. I think it was part of the fork or something, but you should tell to the store manager to get a new (free) food to replace that one.

Sorry about the problem and I hope to see you again.

Panda Express less food in to go containers

I bought a 2 entree plate & noticed the to go boxes are even smaller than before and other places. The container is split into 3 sections and all sections are now raised so less food goes in. By elevating the sections, you pay more for less. What a shady thing to do Panda Express. This is good for Panda bad for it's customers. I don't appreciated being conned. Panda probably thinks none of their customers notice b/c the box looks the same but the volume has definitely decreased. I will not give Panda Express my business anymore.

Panda Express racial discrimination/bias

Panda Express is an organization that appears not to promote a fair number of non-Asians. In spite of more than 65% of it's hourly non-management employees being non-Asians its proportion of non-Asians in above store level (e.g. District Manager - called ACOs) is very low. I am estimating these numbers and its accuracy is not assured 100% but noted as directional.

Why do I say this?

Look at the numbers(est.)

130 District Managers = 25% non-Asians
30 Regional Directors = 0% non-Asians
7 Zone VPs = 14% non-Asians

I worked in Florida and witnessed our ZVP (non-Asian) unexpectedly resign in July 2010? Our strong, inspiring President resigned last Nov 2009- he was non-Asian. I find it difficult to understand that a company with over 10, 000 employees cannot find more qualified non-Asians to be in leadership positions above the restaurant level. Seems that other chains have been able to do better - why?

Get the picture?

For a company whose mission is to inspire and better the lives of it employees - what type of employee is being bettered? Your call.

I wholeheartedly agree. I have applied for an open management position with Panda Express in two different states and have had no luck. I have a resume with 23 years experience in restaurant management, 15 of that being with my latest employer. I answered an ad that said they had positions for General Managers and District Managers with open interviews. I spent time updating my resume since it had been 15 years and I also bought a new suit for the interview. When I arrived to the interview the district manager seemed to have a smirk on his face when he made me aware that they only promote from within, and made me feel like I just wasted my time. He did ask me if I would be interested in a job for 9.00 an hour which was quite an insult. I love Panda Express food but just can't get myself to eat there out of principal. It's been almost 2 years since I have given them any of my money.

To sum it all up I believe the ad should have read: Now hiring quality managers with very low self esteem that will accept a third of their pay to work for us as an employee. Please join our team so we can fill our quota of non Asian management. Thank you!

Panda Express discrimination

Well I worked for panda express for about 5 years. The first year my manager was a grate guy, very nice. He new was he was doing and how to manage the store.
But then there came the changes new GM. At first he was nice he asked the employs to help him with the store telling him about scheduling, business, ECT… After he got the hang of things. He became more and more aggressive. He would pull employees from their shirt. Take hours away if you did not do what he wanted to do. But his magic words were "I'm trying to help you." So that way he would excused what he was doing
The business went down because of the food quality. Other co-workers were not too happy. You either did what he wanted or expected your hours to be cut. And then came the costumer complaints about service, food, and quality. If the store got a he would blame it on the employee. Ok I know that sometimes you do thing wrong but you learn from your experience. But then I saw him slap a cooks hand because he was not doing what he wanted. But he didn't stop to think that the cook was getting vegetables to cook. I saw him slap the same employee at least three times
Then a cook cut his thumb. We could see part of his bone. He would not stop bleeding. The cook didn't speak English so he asked me if I came take him to the hospital. I told the GM.
His response was no. And he turns to the bleeding cook and very mad asked him for his SSN number. He new that the cook didn't have one, he scared the cook. The cook said "forget it I rather go home." So we gave him a ride home. I guess the bleeding stopped because we put lots of pressure. Over night he had a fever. So he didn't work on Saturday, and went to work on Sunday washing dishes with his hurt finger. He missed work and didn't get paid workers cop. because the GM did not file an injury report.
Another thing that happened was that an argument happened between two cooks and one pulled a knife out and said "Next time you bother me it's in your stomach." I guess the argument was because of gay remark to another. The cook who had the knife to his throat told the GM. The GM said, " next time I will fire you both." For me I thought that next time that the cook is cut he might do something. Well there was a next time. The same cook who grabbed the knife now burned the other cooks hand with boiling water. Same people same argument. This time the GM had no choice but to give a warning to the bad cook.
So I worked for them for five years and got fired. But I feel that all the time I would voice my concerns. I would get my hours cut. I had a family wedding so I spoke to the AM and expressed to her that I could not work on Monday so I got scheduled for Monday. I called on Sunday to know at what time I would work on Tuesday a co-worker told me Monday. So Monday morning I'm calling the Am at 8 am. I'm trying to find a co-worker to cover for me. Lastly I called the GM about 8:30 am. He was mad because he said I didn't tell him anything. He didn't work that day so how could I have spoken to him about it. So I got a warning. I know I'm not I made mistakes but I learn from them. When I went to work on Friday my daughter was sick so I took her to the babysitters and told her if anything was wrong to call me. She was calling my cell phone like ten times I ignored those calls. That morning we were busy we have a big catering order, store phone was ringing like crazy, drive three. So I had to do three things at once. The other employee did not understand much English so I was on my own. For the last call on my cell I answered and it was for only 5 sec. I was waiting for food to be cooked, big order. For my bad luck the costumer at the window saw me answer my cell. And complained to the corporate office. So he fired me.
What can you do when the company has a human resource office that doesn't help?
What can you do with an abusive manager?
Lastly what do you to when your GM or AM boss thinks that they are doing their job but truthfully they are not?
I think money talks right. When you have money they don't care about the people who work for you.

Ive been for the first time in panda express trying to order food, the server tried to scoop me a rice then i tried to choose the food with it, suddenly the server put my plate on the side table and proceed with another line kind of skipped on me then i tried put attention to all server but its like no one hearing me i found that all line that followes me are all ahead of me cause they supposed to serve me completely with more food to choose but ended to have just rice, i almost shout but i didn't so i just decide to leave and never ever ever go back to this restaurant again even though they are full of ignorant numb discrimination to this business.

I agree with the comment above and why is the GM going around slapping people? Couldn't you guys sue the unprofessional punk for assault. Sounds like a bully workplace, you should be glad to put the nightmare behind and move on.

Panda Express unlawful and rude employer

My name is Melissa and I am 17. I'm currently employed by Panda Express and they treat me worse than other employees. I live in Redding, California and They all treat me very pourly. They get mad at me at every little thing i do wrong without having much training. Also my drawer came up short so the superviser told me i had to give her $20 dollars right there and then. Later i proved that the drawer wasn't really short and that it is illigal for them to make you pay for a short drawer. They're supposed to just write you up which they also did. I feel like they're also disciminating me when even i make a misake they'll just stand there speaking in spanish and i know they'er talking about me. I really does offend me greatly. I'm trying to quit right now but idk how. I'm tired of being treated like that and being talked about behind my back. If someone can help me figure out how to quit i'd be super happy. I'm done feeling miserable and just want to be happy and have fun again. Thank you.

My new manager is so rude. I am working in panda from four months. I am happy with the working environment .my coworkers are good and helpful. Everybody is satisfied with my job. I thinks that's why I got full time work. Actually I am new in USA. And I can't speak English fluently. But I can take costomer and register very well. My new manager used to my hood coworker. But from day she was manger she is completely changed. She became very rude in every ways. But I didn't mind at all. But yesterday may be my worst day . I worked with her at front . She was taking the costomers and I was in the register. It was very busy . And my general maneger was in his break . I was hurry to go for restroom but it was busy so I thought we should finish the line. After 20 minutes it was slow, and pick out the aprons and ask my maneger to go wash room .. I told it just takes a minute. But she didn't let me go. She told me I can use bathroom only in my brektime. I was shocked coz nobody treat me like this before. Again there was long line. I wear the apron n took the costomer. I was so much hurry. Seriously I can't explain how was feeling. I was sweating but I need smile on my face for the costomer. My stomach was swelling. And again I beg for a minute bathroom break and told her I am dying, she could use my register for a moment but again she didn't allow. She told me nobody in register I can't leave there . Oh God it never happens me before. While she was taking costomer I just ran from there even she couldn't notice me . After sometime I went to register and again take the costomer. My eyes were full of tears. But I couldn't cry . My legs were shaking. I want ed to quit my job from that moment. But I am nt sure is this my good decision or not coz I don't want to affect my healt like this . Seriously from that yesterday incident still my eyes are full of tears. I have nobody to tell about that incident. Coz I am alone in this country. I don't know I should write this or not but I did. I am not good in English language but I tried to share my bad exprence in panda may b my bad exprence of life. Still I am confuse I should quit my job or not. Coz today is my off and from tomorrow I need to she her face again.

i was hired at the panda express and it was one of the worst experiences of my life. Yes, there were some very nice people that worked with me but some of the managers were so incredibly rude and disrespectful. The first day i was barely trained and was thrown into serving people without knowing the food names or codes or anything. whenever i would ask for clarification they would say "what do you think?" "you should know this" "how long will it take you to get this?" after just one day. on my second say it felt like constant abuse with one manager hovering behind me saying nasty comments about what im doing wrong. it felt as if she was a human form of my insecurities and i was on the verge of tears, but of course she would say, "smile more, your supposed to look like ur having fun" long story short, i quit after working two days because it was not for me. if ur good at putting on a happy front and dealing with emotional abuse then this place is great for you.

I have been working at a panda express since August 2011 and I have also been treated like complete ###. I was poorly trained and only worked 6 hours a week (not my choice) since I first started. This caused me to not have as much time to learn all the different parts of the job as quickly because I wouldn't be able to remember what I was doing since I only worked 3 hour shifts on Wed and Fri! Whenever I worked the manager wouldn't be at the store and I would work with a coworker who has been there for a year. I found her very unprofessional. An example of this is I asked her which button was for the military discount and she yelled at me in front of the customers saying "you were already taught to do this" when I wasn't. Im also constantly criticized for things that I do correctly...on things like taking out the trash. A simple task that anyone can do...but I am blamed for apparently not double nagging the trash can. The treatment from my coworker is so bad that each time I have to work I feel sick to my stomach. I would turn to my manager but she would do nothing as she has seen the co worker yell at blaming me for things I didn't do but sided with her. I would advise people not to work her. Panda express tries to put on a fake demeanor that they are a big happy family when really it's just the manager and the manager's favorites dictating everyone what to do. Yes at the job you get paid above minimum wage but that does not give them a reason to be unprofessional bullies to the people they do not favor.

I'm with you, but quitting is not the solution or running away from something that you can prove this people that you can do a "good job" and don't pay attention when they talk in their language. You are smart enough to see what is going on, so please don't let this people get in to you. If you know your responsibilities and you know that you are doing the right thing you are in a good position. But you have to respond to them nicely and not showing them that they are getting in you nerve. Show them you are a good working hard person and think before you say something, because the people you are dealing with is have little education or just using their position without understanding what their job is suppose to be. Take Care and Keep smile in your face and show them that you care and you like what your doing...think positive when you are working and sing when you can!

Simple. You either give them your two weeks notice or simply don't show up. I've been treated (and still am) unjustly by my manager and Am on the verge of quitting myself.

dirdeedeez... why would you seek legal counsel for a message board poster who was trying to help the original poster with their problem? And (s)he didn't say anything derogatory towards Panda Express. I don't get it.

Panda Express service

I pulled up to a drive through and ordered $30.00 worth of food for my family. I had my two children in the car. We ordered, the lay Linda who was working the window was not the most pleasant but wasn't totally rude either-at this point. After placing my order she asked if I would like any sauce. I asked for sweet and sour sauce. She asked how many, my reply was 3 or 4 please. She then said "Oh, not that is too many there will have to be a charge". I asked if that was really true especially when I ordered a lot of food. We all like this sauce. Next, she walked away from the window (I didn't know if she was getting the sauce of if she was walking away). She comes back and gives mew 2 sauces in containers. She said I will give them free this time but next time there will be a charge. She handed me SCOLDING HOT sauce. This sauce was so hot it burnt my finer tips, and I dropped one inside my car while trying to through it out the window because I was burning my hands. At this point Linda asked why I through them out, I raised my voice a little and said you just handed me the hottest sauced anyone could possibly hold. I burnt my hands and now my car has sweet and sour sauce on the mat (we just bought our truck 1 week ago). I never got an apology, her only response was "All of our sauces are hot". I told her a warning or put in a bag would have been helpful. This was the worst service I have ever had. The best part...my order was wrong when I got home. I asked for a mangers name and she said there was no manager there and then said that she would give me his name and number. She gave me the wrong name and phone number. I am very upset and this should never happen at a food establishment.

Your complaint as a customer is understandable but if you were to see it from the servers prospective. In my opinion from working in customer service i feel like you were being a bit unreasonable and personally you might be having a bad day and just wanted to took it out on anybody. She was simply doing her job as she was told and sure she could of have warn you about the sauce being hot but pretty sure this wasn't your first time getting food at panda. You mention trying to throw the sauce out the window, that = a annoying childish customer. Next time try to be more understanding of other people, and maybe they'll try to give you better service. Cashiers/ servers are not your servants they are just trying to make a living. After standing there all day and with customers like you, it makes people jobs harder.
