I was embarrassed by the manager on duty, whose name tag listed her name as Shelby.
I was having lunch with a group of friends. I made the terrible mistake of asking if I may have a refill on my Chai tea. In front of many customers, she complained that I had already received a larger serving than I should have, because the drink was put into a larger glass by mistake. Then said " No refill"
Surely there is a less caustic way for management to address a customer's question.
