Pakistan International Airlines [PIA] charging for tax which was not due

Dear sir /madam
I booked my ticket with pk709 on my way home on 31st August 2018 I was charged 230rupees at the lahore pia desk when I came to board. I was told that on my ticket it states I need to pay 230rupees tax.

Which is not true when I came home I rang travel trolley who I booked with they told me that the taxes were included in my ticket price and I shouldn't have been charged.
Could you please let me know why I was charged?

Pakistan International Airlines [PIA] tickets refund

Sir,
PIA cancelled my tickets and didn't provide me any compensate, refund or MCOs.
Please find the below details.

It is requested you to please provide us the MCOs for our 13 tickets. I attached all the required documents etc.
As per original plan my flight was on December 9, 2016 from Abu dhabi to RYK Pakistan but this flight cancelled due to fog, PIA didn't provide any hoteling in abu dhabi. We are living 270KM away from airport and came to airport after two flight confirmation calls from PIA that day. We cannot forget that cold night that we passed at Abudhabi airport with kids. Why pia called us two times if flights cancelled?
Next day we meet pia team in abudhabi and requested to adjust us in any flight. They confirmed our booking in another flight coming from Saudia to Islamabad on December, 11, 2016 and then a link flight from Islamabad to BWP.
PIA should have provided hoteling in abu dhabi from December 09 to December 11, 2016 but they did not.
On dated December 11, We reached isb and received all our luggage by our self and shifted to the next longue for domestic flight, it was very difficult to wait there for four hours and to shift all our luggage with kids.
PIA did not support us that time. We received our boarding pass for next flight from ISB to BWP. After waiting in lounge just before 10 minutes PIA shocked us by cancelling this flight from ISB to BWP.
We again received our luggage. After wasting our next four hours they provided us hotels at Rawalpindi and said they will adjust us in next flight again.
There were no heaters available in very old and low s (I can prove this)
Then on December 13, PIA confirmed our flight from ISB to LHR and then from LHR to RYK.
Again it was shocking news for us to travel by two link flights and we had to shift our costly luggage by our self with kids.
We were not agree to leave from abu dhabi to ISB and requested to adjust us in any direct flight from Abu dhabi to RYK/BWP/MUX in any date but I think it was not possible for PIA.
PIA abu dhabi ensured us that PIA isb will provide us Daewoo transport or road facility from ISB to RYK in case of our flight cancellation at ISB and they sent an e mail to ISB airport for this purpose.
We requested PIA abu dhabi to provide us a copy of e mail that time but they said we sent an e mail and we are sorry we cannot provide you its print as its official document.
We requested same at ISB airport but they did not provide us road facility.
After confirmation next flight on dated December 13 from ISB to RYK via LHR we again shifted our all luggage from ISB hotel to airport by our self, (PIA provided transport only). When we were sitting in the plane at isb I again received a shocking call from PIA khi that our next flight from LHR to RYK is cancelled.
At LHR airport we received our luggage by our self. I requested traffic control section to provide us road transport from LHR to RYK but they clearly refused. On my request they stamped us tickets as flight cancelled.
We were three families including two men, three ladies and eight kids going to attend two marriage ceremonies in Pakistan (That we missed ). We were travelling with four sets of gold in our hand carries.
Then on dated December 13 night, we travelled from LHR airport to LHR city and then finally came to RYK by faisal mover by our self. PIA did not provide any facility to drop us to city.
It was very difficult for us to travel in two pickups with gold, 16-17 luggage bags, kids etc. PIA wasted my 05 annual leaves (December 09 to December 14) and did not provide luggage shifting facility at abu dhabi and isb, hoteling in Abudhabi etc.
Alhamdu lillah I am working as engineer in ADNOC here and I visit Pakistan once or twice in the year. I always choose PIA for travelling.
I am requesting pia for its compensation /MCOS since January 2017 but still waiting.
It is humble request to please compensate us. We want to travel again in December 2017. Please provide us tickets compensation or MCOs on urgent basis.

Pakistan International Airlines [PIA] uncouth rude behaviour of staff

I happened to avail PIA flt PK 204 from Dubai Intl Airport to Allama Iqbal Intl Airport Lahore on 20 Sept 18. Onboard apart from the abysmal condition of the aircraft which was nothing less than criminal negligence in maintenance and the general condition, what was more embarassing and painful for me was the uncouth, rude and sarcastic attitude of the hostess, one named Miss Anum. Miss Anum was i believe the living manifestation of all that is wrong with the national carrier and it is by employing people like her that PIA is in the condition it is today, unacknowledged and ignominious. On my way to the lavatory she remarked most rudely half shouting, "Can you pass from here, " pointing towards the aisle and the meagre space afforded due to the food trolley, at which point all the passengers were looking atvthe scene being created. To which i told her that it is my 3rd time that i am trying to get to the lavatory and that she could reverse the trolley sinve it was only at tge edge of the aisle and let me pass. Moroever, in my previous encounters both Miss Anum and the male steward turned back passengers by staring at them and with unprecedented facial gestures that i have yet to see on airline travel. On returning to my seat i called for the stewards via my overhead bell and on the 4th attempt i was successful on getting their attention. This time again Miss Anum came to me and i asked her for the onboard complaint register, to which she said that they have it and told her to bring it to me to which she said that she would. About 15 mins after this the Steward (named Asgfaq) came to me and apologized and informed that complaints were now posted online and no register was present on board. This speaks volumes of the professional acumen and sense of responsiblity of the stewardess in question who didnot know such an important detail of her job.
I am a frequent flyer of PIA and have never been embarassed in such a manner. Being Pakistani nationals one can bear that yhe aircrafts are of old vintage with no leg room neither with any infotainment system whatsoever but the stained and dirty interior with broken meal trays is an abhorrence that near me is beyond comprehension.
Aforementioned i humbly request that an inquiry be made into the matter by the responsible individuals so that a pertinent apology maybe rendered timely. Failing which i shall again pursue the matter with the utmost conviction to ensure that justice is served.
A comprehensive account of the happenings would be shared on contact by the concerned customer care representative.

I refer to the ticket you sold me from Lon to KL.

It appears that the stopover at Lahore to Karachi was a local sector. I did not have a visa as required under Pakistan law. No one at your office advised me about getting one.

As a result I was stranded at Lahore airport, went through a number of Immigration and PIA officials to get clearance. My passport was withheld over that sector and it was your office fault that I was put through immense hassles, inconvenience, delays, immigration/customs clearance and treated as an illegal.

I thus put you on notice that I will take up this matter upon my return on the 7.10.18.

PIA and their agents had been negligent on this occasion.

Pakistan International Airlines [PIA] delayed flight

On the 15 May 2017, three of my family members were travelling from Heathrow to Islamabad on board a PIA airplane. This flight was delayed due to an issue with your cabin crew. With this delay my family was unable to perform the janaza for my late uncle. I therefore request that you let me know of the procedure to claim compensation for this oversight.

Pakistan International Airlines [PIA] luggage scam

Dear Concern
On 7th September 2018 Flight Pk-0590 from Karachi to Zhob i booked three tickets by the name of ALIYA/ASAD MRS, HANZALA/ASAD MASTER & HAMZA/ASAD INF with the luggage of 2 bags . My family reached to Zhob but the luggage had gone to Rahim Yar khan airport . we went to the Zhob air port customer care, they said your luggage is by mistakenly went to Rahim yar khan airport and we will transfer to Karachi airport on the same day till 8 pm in the evening .
0n 7th september i went to Karachi airport for the luggage and they gave me but when i opened the luggage, the gold chain, bracelet, 4 bangles and one nose bailey (Nath) were missed from the blue bag. i called the customer care but they said the lost and found department is not attending the phone and they are not in the office .
Please check and rectify the issue asap, today i went to airport but the lost and found department said our head staff is on leave, you can come on monday .
i am requesting you, kindly check the issue and resolve it asap . as we are frequently using the pia airline . Please do it on urgent basic and rectify the issue

Pakistan International Airlines [PIA] cancelled the tickets again and again

Dear Sir /madam

My reference number is MDOJIA. MY name Mrs Shakila Ahmed. I booked the tickets for 11 August on 5th June was traveling for medical reason as my daughter got the appointment in hospital for eye problems on 12 August . I received the call from pia office that my flight is cancelled and now I am traveling on 12 August then I explain to them I need to be in Pk on 12 August then they said now you are on DS priority so keep calling us as soon any seats available we will let you know I called them more then 10 times in 36 hourse and at the and they said no seats available so you going to travel for 12 August then I booked the appointment 13 August as dr was going on holiday. On 11 August they told me your tickets are cancelled now you are traveling on 14 August. I was traveling with my 2 blinds kids. When I got Heathrow London airport they said your seats are cancelled now you are traveling on 17 August then I explain to them that I had have to fly. I stood 3 hourse on customer service desk and my blinds kids were stood on one side alone and started crying 😢 which was very painful time for me. After 3 hourse they let me to travel. I told them I want to apply for compensation and they said when you come back then we will. My return tickets were booked 3rd September and I went to pia office to request to extend my seats as dr was gone on holiday but they said seats available after 15 September but my daughter classes start on 10 September so I have to come back. I stayed in hotel as I don't have any relatives at the moment in Pakistan. So I have to pay a lot money. I want full refund as compensation also apply for expensiveness of hotel. Now I have to go back to Pk for treatment so my request for full compensation otherwise I will take the legal action.

Pakistan International Airlines [PIA] station manager at dubai airport

Dear Sir,
I reached here through google search, As per the above details I want to file a complaint against your Station Manager Mr Manzoor at Dubai International Airport.
I was with my family (6 tickets including kids) from Dubai to Peshawar at 09 August 2018 PK 283, PNR FILDBC & HKKFRR. During on board, I was in the Queue for boarding, my passport & my family passport was on counter with the concern person for issuing boarding card. Mr Manzoor brought someone with him to by pass, I said that i have family & kids, my work is almost finish. I didnt knew that he is a Station Manager of PIA because he was not in a uniform to represent PIA. He told to the counter man to reject his Baggage because it is over size. The counter man reject it and told me that he is the station manager, we cannot do anything. I told him that please I have family and kids are crying, already you accept it and now you are rejecting...? he said that I know but we are under him so we are sorry about that. I was looking for Mr Manzoor and I told him that please I have family and kids are crying, I didn't knew before so for God sake I need a solution. He said that no and he left. I was calling calling and I found person Mr Mahmood. I request him, he said that ok but 1st rip it well and bring it. I do the same. Mr Manzoor came and tell Mr Mahmood to reject and went again. I told Mr Mahmood please what is going on with me, , , , ? He said that what you did with him... I explain the story and I request for rules that what is the next option, if something happen like that...? He said that you should to pay Dhs 150 per bag but the counter is closed now. I told OK, I am paying. I was begging him and he said that I will take one bag from you the other 2 I cannot because the counter is close already. He reject 2 and took only one. Also I was receiving warnings of flight that you will miss that. After these all, I was running with my family in Dubai Airport towards plane to avoid missing.
I explain you all the seen, if I have right, Kindly do it something for me.
I will appreciate your positive reply.

Pakistan International Airlines [PIA] pk792 flight delays

I was meant to be travelling today on 09/08/2018 with 7 members in total, i was told the flight has been delayed till the following day 7am, and ive been told again that it is now gonna be departing at 2pm on the 10/08/2018. At this time i still dont feel that it will go out at this time. Im not happy with this service and would like to make a complaint, its messed up my 2 days and my kids are not settling.iv booked holidays from work and so has my husband and its been a waste. My name is Sabrina I booked my tickets to pakistan in January 2018 for the date 27/07/18. Yesterday on the 9 July I got a phone call to say that they flight is being cancelled and they going to reschedual the flight. This is not good enough 7 months ago I booked my flight and now they tell us it's being cancelled I have to children with me and the best they can offer is my a flight to.lahorw airport when I booked for Islamabad I paid so much money for my tickets this is not good enough.

My name is Sabrina I booked my seats in January to Pakistan for the 27/7/18.One the 9th of July I received a phone call to say that the flight is being cancelled, and they are going to reschedual the flight, this is not good enough because i am being offered flights to lahore airport. WHICH is not good enough I have to children with me and I wanted to land at islamabad airport.I booked my seats 7 months in advanced and paid more than 800 pounds for my seat, paying so much money and not getting the service is very disappointing.

Pakistan International Airlines [PIA] refund ticket

I purchased a two way ticket fro pia dubai clock tower branch dated (08 to 23 june-2018), I used one way on 08th june, but changed my mind, that I will not go back to dubai and want to refund the ticket on 23rd june in pia peshawar branch, I was surprised the concerned person at pia office as well as on the help line number suggested my to take another two way ticket to refund your one way in dubai, what a non sense and stupid staff they have. Instead of resolving my issue they are showing their competency level, they are doing nothing bu making themselves as a laughing stuff. Before I purchased too many times return tickets from air blue and shaheen in peshawar and the same I refunded in dubai, then how can a private airline is providing good services than our national air line? Why they are keeping incompetent staff who even don't know how to assist and satisfy customers complaints? Why these stupid people don't make customer friendly rules?
I will suggest all of my bro and sis don't ever chose pia, you will repent at the end.

I purchased a return ticket 08th to 23rd June 2018 from PIA Dubai Clock tower office, i just used one way ticket and changed my mind not to go back to Dubai, I requested PIA Office in Peshawar for the refund as well as i contacted their Helpline number, I was surprised that the so called "Great People to Fly with" suggested me to purchase another return ticket to Dubai and refund your one way ticket in the same office from where you purchased, what a non sense.
Sorry to say, but its a Third class airline, their customer care and help line numbers are useless, I didn't find even a single competent person to resolve my issue. Too many times i purchased Air blue, Shaheen return tickets in Peshawar and Refunded in their Dubai Office on the Spot.
I want to share one more incident regarding PIA, last year in November i was travelling from Dubai to Peshawar, when the meal was served i pointed out a small stone inside the food to a supervisor named SHINWARI, he blamed the PC hotel for the food and even didn't bother to say sorry for the negligence.
In Apr-2018 I purchased a ticket Executive Economy with a double rate, i was surprised that they pulled only a Cloth Seperator between Economy class and Executive Economy, they just deceived me, there was no difference.
I will suggest to all the passengers, please go for any other airline but don't choose this worse Air line, these are the three incidents happened to me, and i don't want any of my Bro or Sis come across the same experience. Avoid PIA Until Unless its customer Friendly and bring their standards upto the Mark.

Pakistan International Airlines [PIA] ticketing

PIA by far is the worst customer service I have ever come accross my life, I am chaseing refund of my cancelled booking since from 2 months and no one has every acknowledge my request, sent several emails to KHI web ticketing refund email cc webticketing and customer care all falls upon deaf ears register a complaint 3 times in UAE customer care service in PIA KHI UAN no. Ecslataed my case to superviosor in customer care I lost all on more money on phone bills but no one yet have resovled my case. On top of all this I am Aplus member of PIA FF program.

Can anyone here guide me what to do in my case? Please dont give me bogus procedures of claming refund I have done all that already.

Pakistan International Airlines [PIA] in flight service

Very bad service seats were moving ask for leg room seat wasn't given one as I had operation on my leg need to stretch my leg no in flight entertainment the tv screens were broken so wat are you supposed to do for over 7hrs toilets were very smelly poor hygiene didn't go toilet through out the flight in bound and out bound you could smell the toilet waste when sitting in my seat through the vents water on floor dirty nappy's and towels on floor the air conditioning wasn't working poor air quality in the plane staff was rude asked for pillow wasn't given one blanket smelled very bad food was poor quality ask for water was told go and get it myself very bad airline woulded travel on this airline again

Pakistan International Airlines [PIA] poor customer services

I Travelled to Islamabad on 20th January 2018. Flight number PK702. Seat number 82 K and the female cabin crew was rude and unprofessional. Spoke to gulam mustafa who would not provide me with female cabin crew name in order for me to make complaint and take this further.

On going to the baggage area I was approached by the female cabin crew member and airport security. I questioned why I was being approached and asked the cabin crew member why she was intimidating me and my family. I explained to security what had happened and they apologised and asked me to attend to my baggage.

The airport security, namely Amir Khan approached me after this requesting me to put in a complaint about the female cabin crew member as she had been rude and unprofessional with them.

I am shocked and upset that my family and I were treated this way and would like a formal investigation to be undertaken. I cannot seem to contact PIA to make a complaint hence why using this page.

Pakistan International Airlines [PIA] toll free no. didn’t satisfied.

I try to get Ticket through iOS app on iPhone three times date 2-3-2018 time 1:26am.
Again I try date 2-3-2018 time 12:04 pm.
Everytime I complete the procedure putting cridit card no then I get pin from my concerned bank to complete tranction
Then message came thank u then message came your session is expired.
I complain to travel consultant through helpline 021111786786 and complain dept also.
Everyone says to me it's not our problem.
Big question mark ⁉

Pakistan International Airlines [PIA] stealing of money from luggage

Asalam-o-alekaum. On 6th of february I arrived from saudi arabia after performing umrah. On next day I have a connecting flight from karachi to quetta on flight number pk-352 having pnr number te [protected].in the luggage I put my volet having pak rupees 10000 and 20 saudi rials. Some of your staff member took all the money which is neither under the law nor our islamic deeds. I need my money back…. If you failed to return my money I will receive all my money in akhira in shaa allah.

Pakistan International Airlines [PIA] luggage (aab e zam zam) not received when flight landed

I traveled with my wife (AQSA SHOIAB and Son MOUSA SHOIAB) from Madinah to Multan by PIA Saturday 16 Dec 2017 by PK 0716. Flight timings were as departure 12:00 PM and arrival 6:00 PM.
when we reached Multan we were informed that our Luggage (Aab e ZAM ZAM) not received within the flight and it may be handed late when received. our residence is in Yazman about 200 KM away from Multan and travel expenses are about RS.5000 for both sides and 5 hours time consumed. till now 28-12-2017 we not informed by PIA about our luggage.
You are requested please take steps to resolve my problem as only and only this is PIA fault so please make arrangments to deliver my luggage my nearest city BAHAWALPUR or as you think comfortable for me as I not able to pick from Multan.

Pakistan International Airlines [PIA] faremakers.com also known as travel flychannel

My name is Muhammad Usman and I live in Toronto, Canada. I booked and purchased tickets from faremakers.com also known as flytravelchannel as on April 17 2017 and paid on the same date. However, on checking PNR as on July 15 2017 I saw that my tickets have been cancelled. After inquiry from travel agency sales manager Mr. Muhammad Shahid he said that PIA has cancelled your tickets while when I ask PIA they said that the ticket was purchased and cancelled on the same date travel agent not by us.
Mr. Shahid Sales Manager cell number [protected] UAN : [protected], [protected] was saying that you have paid and let me inquire and I will issue your tickets and finally as on July 21, 2017 he said that he fares have gone high and he can’t do anything.
I feel cheated and humiliated by travel agency faremakers. My brother has also filed complaint at their customer service helpline and talked to Customer service manager Mr. Usman contact # [protected] but he was not even picking my calls. I am felling severe stress and headache.

In the end they provide us tickets with 2 additional layovers.The travel agent did indeed provide us with a so called "ticket". Instead of our direct PIA toronto to karachi flight he gave us the ticket Toronto-Brussels-Abu Dhabi-Karachi ticket, despite PIA tickets being available. He forced us to take this ticket and would not refund us our money so we had no option but to fly on this hellish flight with small child. Needless to say our experience was horrible, our trip was full of shortage of halal meat, entertainment system not working and rude staff.
How can you let such a travel agent become authorized to deal with you. Dont you have any respect for your brand image. How can such a travel agent become affliated with you without having his licence revoked. How can PIA stand by and watch clients become ripped off by this travel agency. I have spoken to many clients of this travel agencies who have had a similar experience. They lure clients by providing them with direct PIA flights, cancel the ticket within 5 days and proceed to bully clients by not refunding their money and forcing them to accept [censor] flights that are cheaper than what they are paying for it.
The reason I am contacting you so late, is because the travel agent Mr. Shahid would cancel my ticket again if I complained against him. Yet with my hellish flight over, I can firmly say that his dealership with PIA should be cancelled unless you want more complaints against him. I know they are no rules and regulation in Pakistan concerning this, and you will probably not do anything. But i have made it my personal mission in life to contact every single governing body IATA, travelling associations and anti corruption agencies to ensure that the travel agency Travel Channel International Private Limited also known as Faremakers.com should not operate as an agent for PIA because they are corrupt.

Pakistan International Airlines [PIA] missing of my luggage when I was traveling from jeddah to karachi by airline pk 762 on 7th oct 2017

Now PIA started new businesses to steal passengers laggage no one serious about no any management all PIA staff become theif, why they are not giving laggage to passengers, why not taking serious action about laggage problem, i need my laggage back as soon as possible.i lost my laggage when yesterday i was traveling from Jeddah to Karachi my flight was PK 762, At karachi airport no one was writing complaint about it, PIA staff saying to all all passengers that laggage will come on next flight but no one taking responsibility still not i get my laggage back and suffering to visit airport every day searching for my laggage.

Pakistan International Airlines [PIA] delay

On 22July 2017 from peshawar flight no: 283 PIA . Departure time was 12:40Pm. Then delayed to 3:30 then 4:15pm then Departure 5:15 from Pew: we come to Airport 10:30 Am and waiting for check in but there was no [censor]ing responsible staff of PIA to Advise the passengers. There was no place for sitting and no one asked for water and lunch. This is the world worst airline (PIA) . We thought this is one of our national [censor]ing airline. But in future and my life I will never use this [censor]ing pia airline and also I will advise to all of my friends do not use this airline. The staff are also misbehaved with passengers . In Law if ur flight is delay they will informed u before check in time. And also will give place for rest and foods but in pakistan the law is different there's no responsibil person to asked. Shame Shame
You (PIA) staffs should say Sorry to passengers for flight delayed and for other mistakes but u people's never say Sorry bcuz ur from Pakistan.
I have lots of things to say but no need to waste the time.
